The proposed systems featured in this patent are used to reduce the likelihood of such attacks using verifiable delay functions (VDFs). VDFs refer to functions that require a predetermined number of computational cycles to complete. While VDFs and PoW/PoS both require an evaluator to spend some time to compute a puzzle, VDFs may involve sequential computations which cannot be parallelized, making specialized hardware unable to substantially speed up the puzzle computation. This mechanism can also be extended to a blockchain supported decentralized peer-to-peer data delivery network with digital rights management (DRM), non-fungible tokens (NFT) and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.

ALL Masternode coins (including Phore) are being delisted from Midas

Midas announced their move away from the Masternode market earlier this year. The Phore team were not aware of this, and received no direct communication from Midas until the announcement yesterday.

Delisting Schedule

Thursday 8th July - Nodes will be turned off and no further payouts will be made to investors. PHR will no longer appear on the Shares table, Midas exchange or InstantBuy.

End of August 2021 - PHR share cards for existing users on Midas will no longer appear on UI. Blockchain/automatic withdrawal support will stop and users will need to contact Midas support directly to process

Although commonplace on Centralized Exchanges, Limit Orders have yet to reach wide adoption from Decentralized Exchange platforms. The reason DEX UIs have been lagging behind on implementing this feature is deeply rooted in the limitations of the EVM that make it hard to automate users' trades while also upholding DeFi’s core tenet of being non-custodial.

Gelato has researched and shipped systems to work around the EVM’s trustless automation limitations, without giving up user’s self-custody, since 2019. Yet to date, even AMMs such as Uniswap still offer no native Limit Order capability in the pure sense on their own UI.
