Seems zcash has a good prospect in the future...my crystal ball told me.. I think it's time to move from nicehash.. making my own wallet & keep my zec in it..
any recommendation for a good zec wallet (gui or web wallet)?
and recommendation for a good zec pools that pay well?
I have a Zec wallet on Poloniex I send my mined amounts to. People have varying opinion about pools but the general consensus seems to be flypool is a good one to go for Thanks my man for the recommendation.... regarding flypool seems you're right.. many people talk good about it here.. I think I'll go for it.. For wallet.. is poloniex safe enough to keep our zec there? I prefer a gui wallet actually.. I don't mind running node for hours to get my own wallet save on my own computer.. I feel safer that way.. I did that with monero wallet.. Poloniex is also a exchange so it should be quite safe to keep your earnings there. I have never had any problem there except a hiccup with withdrawing Lisk for the Ark io i've been searching google for a while with no luck.. haven't found anything about how to create zec gui wallet in windows... only linux... linux.. linux... I think it's not a bad idea to keep zec on poloniex momentarily until windows gui wallet released... i'll go for it... thanks again my friend! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Glad to be of service. I had the same problem when I started mining ZEC, no windows wallet only linux. Hearing about all the Zec z wallet adress problems I'm actually glad I decided to go with Poloniex Also Kraken.com is an option, im there since 2014 and had no problem.... also trading possible there.... thanks my friend.. highly appreciate it... I'll take a look into it.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

You never use exchange as a wallet. They tend to be hacked, poloniex has been hacked too. Obviously you need to keep something there if you are trading. If linux is not an option use jaxx. what is jaxx??? how it works? https://jaxx.io/interesting... one more question if you don't mind.. you're a hero member.. sure you are more experienced in cryptocurrency stuff.. in your opinion, which one is safer to keep coins for long term period, poloniex or jaxx?

I'm getting 210h/s with one 280x ( claymore's v. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Or well I have a 7970 Matrix Platinum, but I underclocked it to 1020/1650 so that I can use the computer without noticing the miner haha I've got around 175h/s with devfee 1 if you use intel processor you can use the computer even play games without affecting mining performance by connecting the monitor to onboard VGA (igpu).. just set your bios to allow using multiple monitor.. with the latest intel HD graphic it even can play big game like GTA 5 or so with the low setting.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

EXCELLENT!!
Hashing power improve 15%, while power consumption still the same as previous version!
CLAYMORE, YOU DID A GREAT JOB!!!
GOD BLESS YOU, MAN!

zec price rising again.. https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_zecmany miners of other altcoins will switch to mine zec.. difficulty will increase, profitability will decrease.. and maybe in the near future we'll have few coins (maybe 3, zec, eth, monero) with almost similar profitability using common gpu mining rigs... i think it's not bad we have more choices mining alt coins..

It's a good miner... . but we need to have microsoft visual c+ 2015 in order to be able to run it.. in windows it hasing about 140 sols/s on rx 470 & 148 sol/s on rx 480.... I don't know in linux...maybe this miner performs better in linux..unfortunately i can't test it on linux.... i don't use linux... it's too complicated with those terminal command lines and all..... maybe if there was any linux miner hashing 300 h/s on rx 470/480 i will start learning linux.. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

DIPSHITS FALL FOR IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN EVEN UNDER THE SAME FUCKING NAMEMASTERNODE SCAMSGOAT SHELL DCC SKB
Same devFake volume
No road mapScam ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) You're forgetting Darkbit
this fucker is getting greedier
Masternode payments:
Goat: int64_t reKt = blockValue * 1/2; //50%
Darkbit: int64_t reKt = blockValue * 0.69; //69%
SkullBuzz int64_t reKt = blockValue * 3/3.75; //80% CAI
So reading stuhl's post between the lines says, "hey I'm kinda sorry it turned out this way but I'll be using the titan to recoup my personal losses." It is what it is i guess, you mention the state of crypto and you are right it is full of nothing but lies and manipulation
Looks like I've expected too much of you, Stuhlman. Only positive thing we've got for the CAIx time being - new CAIx wallet from great community members. What we've got from you is: - obvious market manipulation (you can deny it if you want, but that would be really stupid) - false promise on "PSP going online". You never ever tried to stabilize price and titan never made any support for CAIx so saying "PSP is now online" is complete bs. - you never delivered anything except for initial PSP whitepaper. - you lied about issuing updated whitepaper as soon as "PSP goes online"
I don't say you are a bad and evil guy. I know, you've done masternode payments and stuff, but the way you, the only coin leader, contact with community and manipulate prices just makes me stay away of CAIx. Good luck to you anyway.
pieterjavnh & mvaessen - lots of love to you guys.
this always was a scam, from the very beginning did you guys really think joseph stuhlman was a real dude backing this with a real software development company?
First, Merry Christmas Everyone.
Second, I do not know if some people are new to caix or not familiar with what happened...........................
I wish all of you Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
are you still depressed man? you had good holidays? 2015 will be the year of the altcoins. So get in here now so that you and those that want to continue can fix a scheduled chat on irc or anywhere else. Imho, the post you made that i quoted above does not clear you of anything man... you fucked up big time! You clearly manipulated that market for too long, you disrespected the community by providing semi-news to hype and disappearing. It's not because you are a miner and a day-trader and a twitter user that you have to follow the majority and act like a shitstain too. sorry for the harsh words, but i hate coward moves. you log on BCT almost everyday, so stop avoiding and Get in here! . this always was a scam, from the very beginning did you guys really think joseph stuhlman was a real dude backing this with a real software development company?
This thread will soon be closed and a new moderated thread will open.
J. Stuhlman
Oh that I hate that shitstain behavior stuhl ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) After weeks of hiding like a cowards and non respecting those that where still here asking for you, you suddenly reappear ? Fuck you ! After weeks of accumulating while you were hiding... weeks of sucking cocks of bittrex team for them to keep the market alive and to hide the fact that even if the message was there, the market wouldn't get removed... Fuck you! FUCK YOU Wow... What a surprise! And soon this thread will be closed too I guess..

What is the best setting (modded bios setting and overclock setting) for RX 470 & rx 480 to produce the lowest Watt : hash ratio OR the highest Hash : Watt ratio?
Mine is (i'm not sure if my setting is good enough), but here the number:
RX 470 8GB memory type samsung, asic quality 63.2% (according to GPU-Z)
Setting: bios strap 1750, core clock = 1300, memory clock = 2000, GPU voltage -108mv (on sapphire trixx) Result: 162 H/s, power consumption around 130 W on the wall, 87 Watt average in GPU-Z ===> ratio hash:power = 1.24 H/watt
RX 480 4GB, memory type Hynix, asic quality 77.5%
Setting : bios strap 1500, core clock 1300, memory 1750, GPU voltage -78mv (sapphire trixx) Result: 166 H/s, power consumption 118 W on the wall, 76 W on GPU-Z ==> ratio 1.40 H/watt
Care to share your result?
any advice is highly appreciated.. I still toying with the setting once in a while now..

Optiminer has been ported to windows and a release looks imminent, looks like Claymore might be getting some competition lol competition is always good.
That's very very very good news! And we will see hashes flying to the sky.. Love it!

Again: dual mining is not possible for ZEC because it uses both GPU cores and memory intensively. About new version: it takes more and more efforts to achieve more speed, so I cannot release new versions every day now. Also don't expect +50% speedup anymore, only 15-30% is possible in total.
15-30% is a big improvement... no need to be hurry.. take your time man... I hope you enjoy your work as much as we miner enjoy mining (as long as it is profitable of course ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ) Keep up the great work man! You Roooockkk!!
