It's a shame there isn't a total somewhere.

Yeah, that should not be too hard to build in.

Little side note: Bitstamp is currently down for maintenance.
The wallet uses the Bitstamp API for the latest Bitcoin price, but since the API is down dollar price conversions will not work.

I believe pieterjanvh should have more influence on the caix future, if he is willing to spare some more time.

Stuhlman, there are plenty of questions waiting for you to be answered on the last couple of pages, so don't be a stranger.

And another one: Are you really claiming you only bought 20k caix at 50.000+ sat and nothing later on, when the price was low? Come on...

Psp announcement, promises, volume up, lot's of selling, and then it got quiet from your side. You still have a chance to show you have honest intentions. The community is waiting.

Stuhlman doesn't own development of the coin. If we wanted to do a takeover, I'm sure we could. What's others' thoughts?

Thank you for your confidence tiredofscams, but you are overestimating my abilities.
I currently do not possess the skills and know-how to run a coin or to bring CAIx to the next level.

Keep in mind, that for a community overtake you'll need the following things to start with:
- Lots (and I do mean lots) of BTC to pay for developments/marketing
- Good wallet developer, someone that works a month or two on CAIx just to get CAIx up to speed with current B-grade coins
- Graphic designer
- Website developer
- Marketing specialist
- Business specialist

And so on...

i'm very hesitant about posting on ann

but here goes  ..caix is dead cuz of negligence , at this point comunity take over can't hurt it anymore than stuhman has done.

community should get together and ask a real dev not some pool owner to work with caix

i had good relations with stuhlman but this is just too much shit he is giving the caix holders

when you guys do a community take over i could pitch in what i can to help(like buying some coins Smiley )

Thank you for your thoughts. I didn't mean you taking over everything, more in terms of supervision and maybe retaining your current "role" of updating. I believe investing btc is a wrong path, a fund with caix donations from community would make more sense to motivate developers. After all 1000 caix was worth something some time ago and with the honest approach and initiative for community to hold or not sell below certain price caix could rise again.

Stuhlman, don't you think it would be time to lay your cards on the table and let the community know your plans about the elusive psp programme and the future path you have in mind for caix.

First, Merry Christmas Everyone.

Second, I do not know if some people are new to caix or not familiar with what happened. I will not reply to PM's
I will reply here, when you send a message to me about caix being a scam, I need to know how was it that you
got scammed? did I dump coins on you? did I benefit from caix by walking away with BTC bags?
premine was burned and all I got from that was 6400 coins, more than half were given away as tips.
I purchased about 17k caix on mintpal when the price was in the 48k to 50k range. The most I held in
my caix wallet was ~20k caix, I gave away 14+ btc in node payments.

Now let's put all that together, I planned an elaborate scam to dump 20k caix that I bought at around 50k
to sell them at 2k to 4k?

Cai was distributed to miners, I was never a majority holder at any point. So before you start throwing any accusations.
go back and read the thread. My total spending out of pocket on this project was about 46 BTC
At one point some whale group pumped and dumped the coin, something that happened on regular basis and still happens
to this day. Did they give me their profits? did they share it with me?

You can ask them to come here and tell you the story. Or check with people who were around at the time.
This guy paradigmflux who jumps here once every few pages and calls me a scammer, he was the first multipool
owner who got paid 5 BTC tip by Veritas to make the multipool, then he is scum enough to rob the miners on the first two weeks
and claim he had marital problems and was away. But at the same time he was also robbing the cinni multipool and answering
questions on the cinni thread. Then when he came back and claimed he was another person who took control of the multipool
from para, I rejected his offer to run the MP again. So he comes back here to spew his hate.

Regardless of what you think of me, I was always a man of my word and people know me as such. At least those who I care about.
If you think I scammed you or anyone else for that matter, I want to debate you about it here in public, not in PM.

I got a little busy over the holidays, and real life sometimes has priority. I do not spend 24/7 on these forums or on exchanges.
As far as trading other coins, I have always been a miner, and I also like everyone else invested in promising projects and sometimes
these investments pay off and sometimes I lose. I invested 10 BTC in sys coin because I believe in the developers and lost 8 BTC due
to the bad circumstances that surrounded that project. I did not go to blame dano or the other devs, it was not their fault.
Now let me be clear about something, the community makes the coin, and as much as you hate to admit it, if you think
caix is/was a scam, then you have already lost.

I do not have the time right now, after new year I will make the time to discuss with the community what we want to do.

Some think communication is the key to success, there is a lot of communication going on now from the devs of bitbay, self confessed scammers
who schemed 960 btc from investors and purchased 600 million coins with phantom BTC with the help of a chinese exchange owner. Do you know what people from that community are saying to these devs? They are begging them to go on. You know why? because they already know they have been scammed by scum, and they are hoping the same scum will save them. It's stories like these that tells me we are fighting a losing battle in crypto. The bigger the scam the more supporters you will find.

I wish all of you Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

are you still depressed man?  you had good holidays?

2015 will be the year of the altcoins. So get in here now so that you and those that want to continue can fix a scheduled chat on irc or anywhere else.

Imho, the post you made that i quoted above does not clear you of anything man... you fucked up big time!  You clearly manipulated that market for too long, you disrespected the community by providing semi-news to hype and disappearing.  It's not because you are a miner and a day-trader and a twitter user that you have to follow the majority and act like a shitstain too.

sorry for the harsh words, but i hate coward moves. you log on BCT almost everyday, so stop avoiding and Get in here!

Which way was he manipulating the market exactly? It sure wasn't up.

By statements and upon second leg on bittrex the price rose and gave hope for better time. There wasn't much needed to maintain that value for some time. But of course, he only bought caix at 50.000 sat, so he wasn't able to sell anything for profit. Poor Stuhlman, I suggest a fund for him to raise some money for a brain check or to help him cure the shitstain virus, you decide.

Here we have a great example of giving false promises and efficient manipulation with community. I would be afraid to eat turkey this year, if I was him. He could get a special thanks, if he doesn't show some proper effort and determination as he promised to the community. And yes, he logs almost every day to bct or probably everyday, so no excuses anymore.

Update 11/24/2014

ok back to the old days of announcements and waiting for news

Back on Bittrex: https://www.bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-CAIX

The Titan has been delivered on Thursday evening a day earlier than expected by UPS.
I set it up immediately on ghash.io to try it out. It started mining at average 330MH default,
without clock boost. When I made contact with the thepool.pw that hosts our MP, we started a series
of tests to mine scrypt coins. After few adjustments by the pool we achieved a great success
mining all the scrypt coins out there. I did have one problem with a die during the tests but that
was only a temporary initiation issue which was resolved quickly. Overall from friday till now the
Titan is pretty impressive and delivered more than expected.

On the development end we have a new wallet coming with much better UI/features.
This will not be a hardfork, just an overall improvement with new features.

Is there any big caix owner here? I know where is something like 10-11% of all caix.

Hard to tell, we used to have the "rich list", and although I know they're not 100% accurate. It helped.

And again :

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on January 16th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.
