4x Palit 1070 Super Jetstream with 70 limit, 90 core, 350 memory

Nvidia driver 382.05

Version is 0.3.4b

Why my miner stopping every time?

I dont have such issues on Claymore or ccminer.

this miner is shit, its continues crashing...

maybe Teamviewer making it crash.
Does it still crash with stock settings?

I would get the new Galax 1070. I know they are a cheaper brand but I have 2 Galax 1060 6GB and they are great at mining ZEC or ETH.

Pascal chipset cards (10xx) use much less power for the same hash-rate as other cards deliver.

Also, if you decide to re-sell it, you are much more likely to get more of your money back with a Galax 1070

still funny how some people recommend nvidia for mining

nothing better than rx470-570's     , it s not for nothing you can not find any on sale

less power argument is not correct ever  the 570's undervolt pretty good

Hello, how many Sol/s would I get from an undervolted 570? How much power would it use undervolted? Thanks

470 & 570s series are good to mine ETH
Use Nvidia if you want to mine ZEC (equihash)

You have just a few rejects (far less than 0,5%), thats normal

it means that so there is no solution ?

It means someone else submitted the solution before you.

A stupid question, if I have 6 gpu in the miner I have to put cuda_devices 0 1 2 3 4 5? Or do not need to put it? I ask you why I do not know the cuda function.

Use the cuda_devices parameter only if you do not want to run all the GPUs.
i.e. --cuda_devices 0 2 if you want to use only 1st and 3rd GPU.

could anyone post temps with cuda miner? also would be interesting to add ambient room temps

my gigabyte gtx 1080 ti, 12 hours mining and case opened is 80 degrees constantly

I tweaked graphic card like this:

113 power limit
+61 core clock
+350 mem clock
+100% fan

maybe something wrong with my card? or the absence of backplate is the big problem and cheap plastic?

I have two of my rigs with 2 cards plug directly in the Mobo and the card in the first slot is always
6 degrees higher than the other one. Not enough room between them to breathe.

Hi all,

Im up and running, thanks to this thread but I was wondering how do you all protect your account/zcash address ?

Do I have to put a password in my start.bat file ?

TIA
Nobody does that. It is a receiving address.

Also, you lose with your miner from a certain hash performance, significantly Hashpower, it is noticeable to me with 6 equal GPU, a GPU had in the cut 30-50 sol less, now I have 2 new GTX 1080TI and a GPU loses in the cut 100-200 sol, in view of this fact I believe that the miner from a certain performance, hash power steals

Very good question!, The miner is a stand alone device, is used only for digging. I already use the EWBF from day 1, but it never occurred before even the Miner in the Google Cloud was blocked. When version 0.3.4 came out you was clean and now no more? Why these burglaries of up to 30 - 40%. I have now re-installed the whole system, problem solved. Therefore, I suspect, has the Miner been compromised? EWBF is supposed to look in his cloud.
I think the miner is not safe enough

Greeting

I always download from Mega. The problem is with googlecloud IMO. But yes EWBF_ should do some housekeeping on the Googlecloud.

how can i set the Fee to 0? Does that have any Impact? (beside the obvious...)

add --fee 0 in the .bat file. not sure if there are any impacts to performance (such as decreased speeds, etc.).

Up. Same question

sitting wait for the answer....

you guys do not trust in the developer BUT do you ask the same guy to tell you is there anything that will decrease your performance if you set the fee to 0, right? is there any meaning of this?

how much time do you need guys to test this? 5 min? to write a fee 0 then write a fee 2 or leave it empty?

yeah 5 mins maximum, but ok, sit and wait couple of days for the answer from the developer, because he has time for this...

but i tell you the answer shortly, no, it does not.

Those are ungrateful lazy people who dont want to work but only willing to wait for the payday.
We should just ignore them and never answer their questions from now and for the next 10 years.

I have a question someone might can help with. I have a machine with 2 RX 580's currently using claymores miner for equihash.
I will be getting 2 1080Ti's in tomorrow that will go in the same machine.
How can i go about setting EWBF's miner .bat file to use just the 1080Ti's and not the RX cards?

excerpt from the help file:

--cuda_devices      Space-separated list of cuda devices. Without this option all devices are used.

i.e.
--cuda_devices 0 1
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: June 28, 2017, 03:47:10 PM
no.. how can i do that?
Ehm... Read OP?)
I did, its not too clear
says:
Version 0.33b Added option --fee developer fee control.

so i can just add
--fee 0?

No first you have to tell your landlord you will not pay your rent this month.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trouble with -api on: June 28, 2017, 03:42:45 PM
As I said, api becomes inaccessible after a while. Here is a screenshot. There it is visible, after 22 hours update of the page in the browser has stopped with the error Disconected. At the same time, the miner continues to work normally. If you now refresh the page in the browser at the same address, the result is "page not found 404". Only restarting the minor will fix this.
Please, EWBF, pay attention to this problem.

I've got the same problem

What version of Non-Registered Windows do you have?  Grin

In bios Advance Setting - did you set
peg0 & peg1 to gen1 (must)
above 4G enable

Did try that, tried auto, gen3, gen2, and gen1, no luck. But no issues now, got it working! Looks like it was the drivers all along. Just an FYI to anyone else who runs into this same issue, make absolutely sure that the drivers get fully uninstalled when you are setting up new cards, adding, etc. I thought running DDU would be enough, but looking at device manager after a DDU uninstall but before a driver reinstall, while 4 of the 5 cards showed up as generic display adapters, one showed up still as 1080ti, just marked as having problems. I had seen this multiple times before, but just wrote it off as a quirk. This time though for some reason it struck me that this couldn't be right. I made sure to right-click and uninstall the device along with it's drivers, and just to make sure, did the same for the other 4, even though they were just listed as display adapters. Restarted, and all 5 showed up listed as display adapters. Installed drivers, restarted again, and there they all were, mining away. Checked again with the pcie speed, left it on auto in the BIOS just to check, and it still worked, so looked to be purely a driver issue.

Not sure how or for what reason this issue could affect the relationship between the x16 and x8 port, but I'm just glad it's solved now, was really bugging me. Thanks for your help, and anyone else that responded as well.

HURRAY!
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: June 27, 2017, 06:05:45 AM
Try to flash update the bios.

Went ahead and tried that, cleared both cmos and reapplied the BIOS(it was already at the latest version). No luck. Tried with a different miner as well, saw the same behavior, so at least I can say that it's not just ewbf's miner. But why this is happening, can't figure out. Thanks for the advice though.

Yes, I had the same issue.  Use Display Driver Uninstaller to remove all traces of the Nvidia drivers.  Shutdown.  With all 6 cards connected to the motherboard, restart.  Reinstall Nvidia drivers, wait a long while as it works through all 6 cards.  That solved the problem for me and it was driving me nuts.

Yeah, tried doing this multiple times. Unfortunately, always the same result. Don't actually have the sixth card yet, as I saw this problem, wanted to fix it before I sprang for another card. It's really just bizarre, again, the card plugged into the x8 slot when the x16 slot is occupied shows up in device manager, overclocking programs. And the port itself is functional, know this through a pcie wifi card I used. But for some reason it's not picked up by miners. The most annoying thing is, I swear it worked when I had all the pieces loose, hooked up everything loose to test/configure. I was able to use the port and get it working, I'm almost 95% sure. Once I put everything together in the rig is when it stopped working, or so I think. What could have changed, I don't know. Maybe the board is just bad, but no way to know without a multi-week rma that may or may not turn up anything. I'm inclined to say it's functional due to the fact that another device works in the slot, but having a card there is clearly not working. I'll try to clean them again and see if it works, though I'm not holding out too much hope. Thanks for the tip though.

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: June 26, 2017, 11:15:24 AM
Ran into an issue, wondering if anyone's seen something similar. Have 5 1080TI's on a win 10 setup, mobo is a gigabyte z97x-gaming 5, it has 6 pcie slots. It has an x16 slot which runs at x16, and an x16 slot running at x8, which shares bandwidth with the full x16 slot. It also has an x16 slot running at x4 speeds, sharing bandwidth with 3 other x1 slots. Toggling the x4 slot to x1 speeds in the BIOS enables it to be used with the x1 slots concurrently.

I would like to move from 5 to 6 cards, and that is where I have a problem. I'm having an issue with the pcie x16/8 slots. Specifically, cannot get the miner to utilize 2 cards if they are in the x16 and x8 slot respectively. The x16 slot by itself works fine. The x8 slot by itself works fine. But if they both have a card, only the x16 slot card is picked up. So at the moment, I have to use the x16 slot, the x4 slot, and the 3 x1 slots, all of which work fine together. But again, want to add a last card to this rig. Curiously, it's not like the card in the x8 slot is not detected if there is something in the x16 slot. It shows up as a device in device manager, and various overclocking programs can see it as well. It just wont be picked up by the miner, only 4 cards get used. It only gets used if I pull the card out of the full x16 slot. I even tried putting in a pcie wifi card in the x8 slot with the 5 other cards running. That not only detected and installed, but it connected and was in use, meaning for sure there is no issue with the slot running when the full x16 slot is in use.

Has anyone seen something like this? Seems to be a problem with the miner, as again, the card is detected by the OS/various programs, and the slot can even be used by other pcie devices, it's just that the miner doesn't use it to mine if a card is present there at the same time as a card in the x16 slot. Wasn't able to find an alternative mining program to just test and see if it would make full use of the cards in the expected manners, the few I tried didn't work very well. If anyone has a solution to this issue, would be great, or at least a suggestion of another mining program to use which can support 5+ nvidia gpus, just so I can test and see if it works on that.

Try to flash update the bios.

Hi
Sorry for my Eng  Grin
When i start nheqminer 0.5c on computer with win 10, i7 6 core and Asus Strix gtx1070 all work fine.
When i start this program on my old computer with win 10, c2q and gtx750 ti I must add -cv 1 and work (slow, but working)
When i put to my old computer new MSI gtx1070, install new graphic driver, i have this error "CUDA error 'misaligned address' in func 'eq_cuda_context::solve' line 988"
I try reinstall drivers, rebooting systems, update system, using another version nheqminer, using all -cd, cv, cx etc, kissing my computer, kicking my computer, and all time is this error...
And i was downloading your's program to test, and I have:
(For me problem is with drivers, because on this computer with GTX750 Ti all was fine, but do you have any suggestion?)
