61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is MLM ideal for bitcoin? on: November 05, 2018, 09:36:03 AM
Most MLM programs are just a pyramid business model. MLM is even banned in some countries. I don't think we need a shady business model (which could be compared to a Ponzi at some points) to show the Bitcoin's potential.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value history (comparison to US$) on: November 05, 2018, 09:33:33 AM
We all know that, what's the point then? Everyone can look up the charts, it still doesn't show a point Bitcoin was growing because it has a demand, then Bitcoin grew because there is a speculation on
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would people want to adopt Bitcoin as a payment option? on: November 04, 2018, 09:07:36 AM
Because you can access and use it worldwide. In some countries, Paypal isn't available to use., so it opens the doors to cross borders payments for these countries (e-commerce, services,...). Both buyers and sellers can save money on fees (Fx, Tx,...)
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: November 03, 2018, 06:20:35 PM
I don't think it's going to happen but I would be happy if. I would buy a lot of them since this coin worth more than 50$ currently. It would be a crazy price to buy low.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: November 03, 2018, 06:18:12 PM
My top coin Horizen went from $5 to $50 Grin Guess what I did, I bought more coins then. I know sit on a good bag of coins.
If the same opportunity happens again I will do the same thing. So far I am happy with my investment on Horizen
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Is technical analysis negatively affecting cryptocurrencies? on: November 03, 2018, 04:49:17 PM
Perhaps the newbies following Coindesk and co. analysis and the telegram channels. Roll Eyes Following real analysis you still need to use your own feeling in the end, an analysis from someone else is just a parameter in your decisions.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] Horizen: Bringing Privacy To Life [EX ZenCash] on: November 03, 2018, 04:45:57 PM
It's like a second block chain layer so you have a mainchain and a 2 nd level blockchain (can have more). You can imagine developing a Bitcoin system build with smart contracts but you can create different blockchain based applications

68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders being taxed in India on: November 03, 2018, 04:44:03 PM
The problem isn't to be taxed, the problem is how is the tax money really spend on?
To feed people during the presidential dinners and to pay the private Airbus
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: November 01, 2018, 10:31:18 PM
Horizen is considered as trusted in my book. So far they keep on working hard on R&D, provide weekly or bi weekly report (video+article). Answer to question people may have, and whatever the channel used.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are maintaining dependence on: November 01, 2018, 09:00:48 AM
That's it, the future of cryptos will be about patents, development, and commercial wars, and only the big ones will win. It's up to people to wake up if they really want cryptos to be free from banks (and even to be able to use for some countries...)
71  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommendations for good exchanges on the smaller side? on: November 01, 2018, 08:54:37 AM
He said:
"good exchanges outside of the really big ones?"

So Binance is out

I can suggest taking a look at Cryptopia. It's a medium exchange and I never got a problem using it for months. (no KYC)
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do you consider Bitcoin to be 10 years old? on: October 29, 2018, 08:19:45 PM
Bitcoin will be the same as it is today with very few things. But don't hope to see Bitcoin making the same boom as it did its first 10 years. We will surely be in a word of KYC this is a sure thing. Now real users will switch to privacy coins, be sure a lot of them will perform well in 2019.

See this article "5 Things I Learned From the Digital Currency Group Summit" (#Privacy Coins Will Get Attention in 2019)
Quote
For companies building on blockchain, privacy-oriented blockchains like Horizen are becoming more attractive than ever. As a result, privacy-focused projects across the board are going to gain a lot of steam in the next year

73  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: October 28, 2018, 09:53:54 PM
A lot still don't know about it but there are more people aware of BTC compared to 5 years ago. Not bad, imagine in 20 years from now. Cool
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin this year on: October 28, 2018, 09:51:55 PM
2018 is a boring year, 2017 was the most exciting. I hope the next year will be better because there is not much fun with BTC currently.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are you boring new ico? on: October 26, 2018, 07:39:37 PM
ICOs is a funding model boring for a long time. There are too many craps making people going away from the system and entrepreneurs too
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: October 26, 2018, 07:37:30 PM
Horizen is over 1,5 years old with over 50 people in the team and a strong development behind the scene. It's one of the most promising and decentralized network
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: October 26, 2018, 07:31:41 PM

78  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ATM started in India despite RBI restrictions. on: October 26, 2018, 07:29:03 PM
So a war is going to start between the Indian government and Unocoin. What's the plan BTC for Unocoin because with the state it won't last forever.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Four Global Banks Involved In Yet Another Money Laundering Scheme on: October 25, 2018, 10:14:46 PM
Banks are still doing fine. They usually negotiate to have to pay a penalty to the court... a couple of millions... still worth for them if they did several couples of millions. Roll Eyes
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in other platforms other than Bitcoin on: October 25, 2018, 10:11:41 PM
Horizen is currently sleeping waiting to boom like a bomb. Even the Federal Reserve will be afraid of. It's one of the most promising privacy coin (right now) and these type of coin will be a lot more used in the crypto space.
