61  Other / Meta / Re: referral links VS faucet rotators on: June 09, 2016, 02:29:23 PM
Don't start a thread to post your referal link. If you create a thread, even if its multiple paragraphs and pretty much on point, if you have your referal link in it, more likely than not its going to be seen as a spam advertising thread that will probably get removed.

[1]Referal links are not banned here, but the majority of users do exactly what I said not to above, they get their referal links removed, and the misconception that referal links are banned is created.
The faucet rotator rules apply the same as any referal link, such are the rules that I posted above.

As you know, in general, referral links are not allowed on the forum boards.
Referral links are not banned. Read the quoted [1]post above.

Most people know that faucet is just waste of time anyway

The hundreds of people who regularly visit Micro Earnings prove your point wrong.
ETFbitcoin says most, not all. So, his point is suitable IMO.
62  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos Help a girl out my Bitcoin Talk account has been Hacked!!! on: June 08, 2016, 03:06:32 PM
I sent multiple email's to Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com  and also pm'ed a  signed message to Theymos .
Just be patient, there are others who have been waiting for more than a month to recover their account.

Why is it that support is so horrible on bitcointalk do they not have enough funding to maintain or?
lmao. AFAIK, only theymos does the account recovery.
Also, did you ever think that theymos have a real life as well?
63  Other / Meta / Re: Dorrittulx - Allegedly hacked senior member used for massive ref spam. on: June 07, 2016, 04:51:23 PM
He is still spamming even though he has seen this thread. :O

I'm not your "m8", certainly never was. Hacked or not, you deserve a ban.
Also, consider changing your signature. The "I don't post spam on the forum" part is way off.
I concur.

Edit:
I saw that his posts are being deleted by mod(s), yet he keeps posting. lol.
64  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow Discussion on: June 07, 2016, 03:09:30 PM
He's a New user why so harsh? Looking up anything as a new user Sucks you have to wait like an hour to search again (Sarcasm) because of the time restrictions.
Lmao, no excuses. As far as I know, you can also use the Google search to search the forum, and there are no newbie restrictions or limitations for using the Google search. (Is there?)

65  Other / Meta / Re: Phoenix1969 AKA MrPresident evading the ban on: June 05, 2016, 03:13:02 PM
How did you know if he(Phoenix1969) is currently banned in the first place, though?

Also: (archived)
I am Phoenix1969 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=123172
and the current #1 ranking Lisk delegate.
I was unable to recvover my old password for some reason.
66  Other / Meta / Re: [BTC] Symbol in the title of the threads on: June 02, 2016, 01:42:43 PM
IMHO, it's pointless to implement this to the current forum software(SMF) considering that the Beta version of the new forum software(epochtalk) has been launched, but it's worth suggesting for the new forum, though.
67  Other / Meta / Re: Recovery Password on: June 01, 2016, 02:15:40 PM
i am making this thread because theymos still not respond my message after i send message on may 21
Others have wait longer than you. Just saying. Roll Eyes

my account cant opened because of the deal on buying something on digital goods , https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1477680.msg14898232#msg14898232
Any proof that you have paid myfreecams for the Steam account?

i give him my account as collateral , the order cancled because fraud . so he give me my password but still cant open it Huh
Have you tried resetting your password with email? Unless, you are using a disposable/fake email or myfreecams has changed the email.
Also, did s/he gave you the original password of your account or what? Because according to the Security log, account 'JustDie' has a password change on May 19, 2016.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Websites accepting bitcoins on: May 31, 2016, 02:21:54 PM
That comes down to what you want to buy. Unless you elaborate, this thread is pointless.
This.

Unless, you are buying almost anything that can be purchased with Bitcoin.
69  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned without warning on: May 31, 2016, 12:22:52 PM
Isn't that consider a ban evasion because he makes a post outside of Meta section during his ban period? So, a permanent ban? Tongue
His last post on the Drakrmaster account was on the 27th, which is when I'm guessing he was banned. Since the post he made claiming the giveaway for the second time was made on the 25th, it wouldn't be ban evasion.

Also not sure why OP removed his second post. Good thing I still had it open on my phone.

Smiley
Here is the archived/cached version of the deleted post.
I guess... the post was deleted because he is trying to hide the fact that he is using two accounts to claim the PrimeDice giveaway twice. Roll Eyes

Edit: I guess I could be wrong...
Hello my account is banned without any notice. I have made this account to know why it happened it says 14 days from last 3 days any way to fix it i would be thankful.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Raise and time to buy ? on: May 31, 2016, 09:49:26 AM
While one can never be 100% sure when it comes to Bitcoin, it's already mature enough to maintain this price, so IMO it can only go up from here, especially in light of the upcoming halving.
To be honest, that is an absurd opinion. How can you be very sure that the prices of Bitcoin will never drop to $400~ or less in upcoming months/years? Also, IMHO, there is no guarantee that the prices will increase a lot even though halving is just around the corner. It could be otherwise. Who knows?

What new forum?
Oh, the new Bitcointalk forum that we were promised a while back?

I love it when I saw you had "were" in your post as if you didn't know that the beta version of the new forum software has already been launched a month ago. Tongue

73  Other / Meta / Re: Calling people idiots and using bulgar and spamming the forum on: May 28, 2016, 03:39:04 PM
The guy is expressig himself. I don't see why you see it as a spam. Foul language are not completely against the rules in here. Everyone is free to speak up as long as it doesm't cost anyone a problem. Just use the ignore button if you don't want to see more post from that guy.
Swearing is not against the forum rules, but if your posts are consisting mostly of swearing, then it is violating the rule 1. See the rule 1 example.
OP, IMO, you should have just reported the post instead of creating this thread.
74  Other / Meta / Re: Low quality posts from people with signature ads - "Ignore all" button needed on: May 26, 2016, 08:09:32 PM
It would end up pretty complicated.
Is it?

Suppose theymos comes up with an algorithm that beats Google's that groups all the low-quality users and adds the feature, and a low-quality user clicks the button, will he ignore himself?
Ignoring himself sounds a bit silly, IMO. Low-quality users can still participate in any discussions, but neither of us can see their posts. It's like they are invisible around the forum, and discussing all the matters by themselves( or just ban them altogether). Grin

Will it be like he is banned forever or will he not be able to unignore himself?
FTFY. Either of them sounds good. Tongue

How will ignoring himself affect his Real Life...
Real life will start ignoring himself as well. Tongue

What if all the low-quality users end up meaning all the users of the forum?
Well, then there is no reason for this forum to exist anymore.

Will the forum self-destruct?
Perhaps.

Too many questions. I think we should change the topic.  Grin
I think you missed out the main question(s). How do we define high-quality or low-quality users?
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now PayPal is getting a patent on Bitcoin stuff on: May 26, 2016, 07:44:17 PM
I've long story with paypal scam I prefer btc than them BTC are perfect
Bitcoin is not perfect, just yet. Paypal is not, either. Either way, both of the systems has flaws.
76  Other / Meta / Re: Low quality posts from people with signature ads - "Ignore all" button needed on: May 26, 2016, 07:03:42 PM
If you literally ignore everyone, you can only go through your own posts, right?
I'm pretty sure he is looking to find a way to ignore all the low-quality users.
That would be a nice feature, lol. That's if only it's possible. Tongue
77  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for BTC investment, the request is..... on: May 24, 2016, 02:17:55 PM
However, I'm kinda guy that so believe in his visions, that i'm willing to risk everything because I DO believe in my project
Nobody gives a f*ck about your visions. You do believe in your so-called project, but no one cares if you believe in your own project. You are looking for an investor(s), so you need to convince the potential investors, not yourself.

my father always told me, without any risks you can not gain profits.
That is true, but advises that was given by your father in the past have nothing to do with your so-called project.

I do believe that i might be scammed
How on earth are you going to be scammed if you are the loanee? :O

or willing to lose my identity for some darknet market or even  worse
Best answer:
However, I'm kinda guy that so believe in his visions, that i'm willing to risk everything because I DO believe in my project
78  Other / Meta / Re: Message for account sellers and buyers on: May 24, 2016, 12:49:40 PM
Is everyone who is selling an account a scumbag? The answer is obviously no to that but i think those of you who do sell the accounts are helping the potential scammers of the forum. So technically youre guilty of scamming by association or something like that. Yes i know youre trying to earn some btc and its just a way to make some money, but your little .001-.5btc you earn could potentially lead to someone else losing .5-50btc.

The argument im pretty sure ill hear here will be if ppl used escrow thered be less scams. I agree 100% but have you not taken the time to read half the scam accusations that pop up? Same stupid excuse over n over. He was a hero member i thought i could trust him. Or some other ridiculous speech. Bottom line, people are retarded. Theyre too lazy to search for an escrow or a suitable escrow isnt online at that time so they take the risk.
If you are using your brain and escrow, there is nowhere in the world people will be scammed by an obvious sketchy member.

Should account sales be allowed? I think up to a certain rank yes. IMO selling of accounts member or below is ok as most likely theyve not accrued much reputation and they will most likely be bought specifically for signature campaign earnings.
Account sales are highly discouraged, and should be banned, but still, it's almost impossible since people will still be selling their account off-site.

Im almost to the point where i feel like sellers should be tagged by DT. Something needs to be done 1 way or another
Account sellers should be permaban, and any accounts associated with the sellers account should be permaban as well.

The only message i have for buyers is QUIT TRYING to LOWBALL SELLERS. Pay up or shut up.
I was hoping that you would say somewhere in your sentences that account sales should be banned, but from what I read, you just want accounts buyer not to lowball the account sellers...
79  Other / Meta / Re: 50 BTC TO GET VIP HERE? AM I DREAMING? on: May 22, 2016, 02:13:42 PM
Just imagin tbis staement. The prices won't be reduced. They may be increased if the BTC price gets really low.
OK SO IT WILL INCREASE IF Btc PRICE GETS LOW BUT WONT REDUCE IT IT GET HIGH? this is why I say too many idiots here. Why are you guys pissing me off with stupidity. How else do you classify an open scam
To be honest, I have no intention in replying to your silly questions. No offense, but your stupidity is just beyond my imagination.

The prices of VIP/Donator tag will be increased if the BTC price gets really cheap is because:
- all of the members on this forum can afford 50 BTC by then.
- every member donates 50 BTC each.
- VIP/Donator tag will become worthless.
- there is no point in having VIP/Donator tag anymore.
80  Other / Meta / Re: 50 BTC TO GET VIP HERE? AM I DREAMING? on: May 22, 2016, 01:33:41 PM
The logic of 50btc then is same as 50btc now didn't make sense. There have been changes in value and supply. People invest in btc because the fiat value.
50btc for vip is just ridiculious.
50btc then won't get you what you get with 50btc now
The Donator/VIP tag prices are in BTC and they are not pegged to USD.

The prices won't be reduced. They may be increased if the BTC price gets really low. Additional lower-price statuses may be created later. I don't want to manually deal with too many payments, though.

I intend to add new, cheaper donator ranks. I won't decrease the price of the old ranks, though I may rename them (to "Donator+" and "VIP+" or something like that).

I said a long time ago that the prices would remain the same, so I can't change this policy now in any case.

Quote
Are the new ranks' price going to be variable or adjusted every x days or months depending on BTC price?

Maybe. I haven't thought about it much yet. The forum doesn't need donations, so I'm not going to create another donator level soon.
