61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold is next to Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 03:37:36 AM
Instead of buying altcoin you should consider buying Bitcoin Gold. I read some article saying that BTG is easier to mine and have the potencial to be the next bitcoin. Big computer company is now talking about Bitcoin Gold. Buy now while its cheap.
So you are here also and keep on spreading anything you want to say about bitcoin gold. You are saying here that we must consider bitcoin gold for buying instead of other alt coins but why on this thread you said this;
This is very alarming for those who hold Bitcoin just to get Bitcoin Gold. BTG price is dropping very quick so useless for those who hold their bitcoin just to get BTG.

How really is it that you are saying that bitcoin gold is useless and now you changed it quickly, so there's a change of heart immediately.

You are now a supporter of bitcoin gold?

He´s either a newbie in all aspects and just learned that his opinion was completely out of perspective and found more technical material or he just wants notoriety. Anyway, the idea of the new bitcoin is to bring back the power of decentralization having the mining at GPU not ASIC, that will allow more people to participate, but we can´t forget the makers of GPU might be well the big supporters behind all this since they will profit a lot from this project. The fact that the new bitcoin will follow the Segwit is a good sign. More on this we´ll have to wait and see.

I doubt it that he's a newbie because he already knew about bitcoin gold and things about crypto. He has different words about bitcoin gold so that's quite odd for me and I just noticed it then.

And how many times will devs are going to do forks? There's another one that will come and that's B2X. Another rumor that there will be another one.

Since there is bitcoin gold, there's also a news about bitcoin silver and for sure in the future there will be a bitcoin bronze?
hehehe its funny but it seems in the near future i guess that is what will be happening. Well anyway i don't also think he's just a newbie, and it seems like he was also promoting BTG, i am not that really interested on BTG though personally.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency ! Will go boom in no time. on: October 29, 2017, 03:18:50 PM
what i am thinking right now is that, bitcoin will totally boom in no time, although there are lots of news about it, and people that are not interested before got an idea already and started to become curious to what is it really, and that is why i conclude that it will surely be at hot seat in no time.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Exposed? on: October 29, 2017, 01:54:59 PM
Ted Failon of ABS-CBN just showed how corrupt they are , as we now in the philippines the Liberal Party has an alliance with the ABS-CBN network. They don't want a cashless society , they don't want digital currencies because they are corrupt. Liberal Party is alleged corrupts in the government, they can't take the government's money that's why they disaggree with it and exposed those fake transactions.
Do you think that in a cashless society there will exist opportunities for corruption? No, I think that the reason for their reluctance is different. Duterte a dictator and if the politicians in power it means that they support it. Why would the dictator free people? Bitcoin is freedom. So it will never be legalized under any pretext.
this has a pretty good point, and besides this is economy and we all know that money is the one revolving this current economy of ours, and bitcoin is also a currency so there is no question about it that there is no freedom from the government i guess.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin an Asset or Currency? on: October 29, 2017, 12:50:27 PM
this has been answered multiple times in this forum and it seems that it will still be answered again and again. Yes for now it is more likely an asset rather than a currency. As for so many people around here they prefer it being an investment intead of being used as day to day currency.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: The value of bitcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 09:59:31 AM
Adams Smith wrote that the price of all things are equivalent to the human labor involved in their exploitation.   The price of gold is determined by the cost in human labor to mine it.  It can then be exchanged for another commodity which takes an equal amount of labor to create it.

Over time I have been able to find ways to place a price on stocks which I can use to evaluate what their value is to me.   I can then buy and sell based on what I determine as value at any time.

I’m not a currency speculator but I also believe the US dollar is being killed.   I don’t like having much of a cash position but would rather be fully invested.   At this time what I see is a highly inflated value of the S&P 500.  Any bonds other the very short term bonds come with too much risk tied to the Feds low interest rate policy and the increasing money supply along with quantitative easing which is placing too much fake money on the Feds balance sheet.

After many years I have developed a feel or intuition to tell me when prices are out of line.   When it comes to bitcoin I am at a loss.   I like the core concept of bitcoin and long term it seem like it will all work out but it’s value is another issue.   I just don’t have a feel for what it’s worth in exchange for food, a house, a car, gold equivalent.  It seem that it should be relatively close in value to the cost incurred by the bitcoin miners.   How do I find out what the current cost is to mine bitcoins.  It cost to mine a well know number kind of like the PE for a stork or index?

I have started to buy small amounts which I plan to hold but I really don’t like the volatility.  It is also difficult to invest in something when I don’t really have any history to give me a clue of somethings value.  I doubt I would hold if bitcoin went over 5000.  It seems to be moving a bit too fast.

Right off the bat I can tell you you are partially wrong, at least. The only thing used to value stuff is NOT the amount of work put into producing something. It is the QUALITY in doing so. And there are tons of other factors at play also. For example, why is gold 100x the price of silver? They both take a similar amount of time and effort to mine, yet one is vastly more valuable than the other. It is because of rarity. Silver is available in much greater quantities, and thus is not as valuable as its far rarer counterpart in gold.
as much as i agree with what you were saying. so it is just that we are saying, it is all because of supply and demand, so just like your example why is that gold is more valuable than silver? Of course the supply also matters, just like what you are pointing out, there is almost enough quanitity to supply the needs of people or even more, rather than in gold, or as we speak bitcoin that has only limited supply and almost everybody would strive to get one, so as expected that too many will bid until the price was higher.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: October 28, 2017, 04:37:02 PM
its kinda horriblle, i always kept seeing this kind of topic almost everywhere, comparing bitcoins to some investments and other stuffs like this, but as you can see, more and more people are investing because of its potential in bitcoin, while to tell it honestly some people just do it because of the trend nowadays.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Legality on: October 28, 2017, 02:13:29 PM
Some countries don't allow people to invest in ICOs. Why is that? They don't allow ICO that issues dividends and represents the shares of a company, or they just ban all the ICOs?

almost all the countries that matter enough have already banned ICOs or are in the process of banning them. other countries don't look at ICOs kindly and that is because they say ICO is a fund raising and they are raising funds illegally since they are scamming people and return nothing. they are fake people calling themselves "company" which raise a lot of money this way and that is not legal thing to do in any country.
i do prefer your statement also. since other countries that bans ICO's considered those things are illegal, and to think that it has a scary system and the way they attract investors its the most thing that makes government worried, and to add more that they could just easily run with the money after the ICO.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC compared to BTG. on: October 28, 2017, 06:27:19 AM
as for me, bitcoin gold is just another free money given to those who participate at fork, for now, but as what i have read from some articles that it is mineable this november, so i guess those who had BTG right now are those given free and its expected that it will be dumped.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 23, 2017, 03:15:39 PM
there is no assurance to what could it really be the bad impact about bitcoin in the economy, but it quiet obvious to what will be tye biggest positive impact on bitcoin to economy, the only thing that matters is that there is not much guranteed if it will really happen or what, just depend on the situation i might say.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: $10MILLION per BTC on: October 18, 2017, 03:32:52 PM
as far as i am concern yes it can be possible, since bitcoin was already emerging, to think that satoshi said it, maybe he has a point, but we cannot be so sure about it. Anyway lots of stuffs happened since the launch of bitcoin way back years ago, but stilk it is making its way forward.
71  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 2 Persons 1 IP adress, is it allowed? on: October 15, 2017, 10:55:59 AM
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Appreciation of bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 09:26:50 AM
I hope we don't see the 4k level again and that bitcoin can find good resistence before then... maybe around 4.5k? Or maybe even 5k if we are being optimistic, ready for another run to a new all time high!
yes hopefully but we cannot be so sure about it, and it depends in the situation also i guess. there could be lots of possibilities, hopefully it wont be below at 4k or can we stay around 5k minimum.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Prediction for 2017 - share your views on: October 14, 2017, 05:13:26 AM
I think Bitcoin will continue to rise slowly in 2017, may be it will reach 800$ at least by end 2017. The price is pretty stable now, and we predict it will rise again after some weeks.

your prediction is right my friend. The bitcoin today is incredible increasing into a higher value more than what you assumed. Because now it already reaches to five thousand 5,000 US Dollar.

predictions from the past years are already happened and its more than what they expect before, and now bitcoin is going to pump even more than it self recently, the prediction of 2017 is not yet over, because i think bitcoin will raise up to $7000 before year end and by 2018 maybe 2nd month of the year it will decrease up to 10% of its current raise. so hold on and have faith on your bitcoin, soon we (bitcoin holder) will go to the moon.
if you look back to the first page and read all those posts coming from way back a year ago and compare the reaction and the current standing of bitcoin right now. we could really say how far bitcoin has gone and as of now not only doubled but more 5 times the price of bitcoin from year ago, and maybe before this year ends it might reach a new all time high.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: October 11, 2017, 05:06:11 AM
as what the others may say, total elimination of banks is quiet impossible, but i guess the thing they need to do is to change the kind of system they have and their approach towards crypto currency. changes sometime is also quiet hard because of what we called mass adaption, but for me there is no point on making both of them as enemies, it would only lead to a big trouble if it might happen someday.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world Economy Collapse this year? on: October 07, 2017, 05:17:02 AM
how legitimate are channels like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ext9G4wr9EU in the information they presents correct? Or are they just people who are trying to manipulate others into buying gold.

System spread fear across the globe every year. Big players take advantage and they are richer every year. Don't believe them at all anymore. They are all liars and it will collapse one day for sure, not collapse something better will come and replace this stupid economy, but not this year.
One day people will stop to be slaves to material things, and no one will be able to blackmail us. We are all in debt to banks, and our money is there and they using that.
So don't believe them, just do what you always do.
absolutely right. nowadays you cannot really believe whatever people may say, you also need to have your own thing, and look for your own answers about your questions, its because, nowadays people tend to take advantage to almost everything, that is why you have to be aware, keep your records as always and be wise enough in order to survive this economy.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: October 06, 2017, 03:56:24 PM
Today is NOT the right time to buy Bitcoin. As Bitcoin will continue to become bearish. Soon We can see it under $3k. What we can do now is to SELL it.and rebuy it from the bottom.

After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

so far that's the best thing we can do for now. as what he said was right, we already knew that some people would actually panic sell when this news about forks and segwits and lots of issues related will happen.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Decision Token (HST) - Horizon State - social bounty on: October 05, 2017, 05:55:26 AM
hello can i reserve the filipino translation if needed?
78  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happened to bitcoins after one died? on: October 05, 2017, 05:44:58 AM
Who owns the bitcoin after someone died?  How to state this in the will? Please share your thoughts.

That is a very interesting question that I already ask myself and others, it seems that the bitcoins of the holder that already died will be considered a stagnant bitcoin if he doesn't reserve any form of identification for his/her family and friends to retrieve it especially to those people that died in accidents.
If a Bitcoin owner dies without passing on the private key then there is no one will never gain access to the wealth inside of that specific wallet again.

I hope someday that there is a technology that you can lock it up with yourself when you are alive and you can tell or write your last will testament that will only be enable when you die.
so i really conclude that you also need to leave something behind or just put it on a safe so that in case some accident might occur, or whatever it is, there are beneficiaries like your family or friends. i am also looking forward to somekind of technology that could possibly help this kind of situation, as i have been asking it myself though what to do.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Win at Bitcoin and other cryptos on: October 03, 2017, 06:34:41 AM
The core thing is everyone has their own way of earning with bitcoin or other crypto currencies. That's why you see versatile answers on the forum for same thing. There is no right thing to do because trading might just work fine for me and signature campaign migt be finest for you to work with. This is why mos of the people are confused on what to choose because they are in the surly stages of the investment.

Your points are pretty good and expanding everything that we discussed elsewhere on the forum. I liked the point where you are saying about the portfolio making. Yes that's the good way to go with altcoin because there are so many coins no you can't really benefit from the single coin. It's better to increase our odds by investing into more than one. Rest is good as well.
yeah you got a point out there. actually its up to you to where you are comfortable earning with, he was just being confused because of so many suggestions, method and strategies in earning, well you can't help it, its their own strategy, if you can do what they can then why not try. so far you can also try to do signature campaigns i think that was the most decent way of earning, set goals for yourself and what you want to aim with that's it.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be a key for us to become successful person? on: October 01, 2017, 04:50:44 PM
Many people are now rich because of the bitcoin and I think that the bitcoin is the key for us to become successful person also. What do you think?

yes. but that also depends on the strategy of how you will start and how you will achieve your success. I'm sure without a good plan, success will be hard to achieve. in bitcoin we have to have multiple points of view to gain success.
yes i agree with you, aside from that, it depends on how the person differentiates success in his own terms. you need to have a good plan and always set aside for the future, always keep moving forward and keep your heads up. keep your money invested as always, and always make an alternate way of income if you want to succeed.
