He´s either a newbie in all aspects and just learned that his opinion was completely out of perspective and found more technical material or he just wants notoriety. Anyway, the idea of the new bitcoin is to bring back the power of decentralization having the mining at GPU not ASIC, that will allow more people to participate, but we can´t forget the makers of GPU might be well the big supporters behind all this since they will profit a lot from this project. The fact that the new bitcoin will follow the Segwit is a good sign. More on this we´ll have to wait and see. |

I fully expect the dev's to dump their coins and then dump the project. Maybe I'm wrong but they either haven't thought this through or they're purposely putting the bare minimum dev time into it before the exit. We'll see in a couple of weeks. |

I dont know how could btg be next to bitcoin yet its is by far from the rate of bitcoin even far from ethereum. Maybe it would grow in price but as of right now its is droping drasticaly, so investing on btg is very high risk.

If BTG will be the backup solution as BCC was in the summer, then is expected to have some supporters, that will keep BTG alive, until it does its purpose.
Some will surely benefit from the process.

I was excited when i first heard about using a GPU friendly algo, but with the scam sites https://imgur.com/a/h3ht4 , no talk of how to mine, nobody really putting a face on it. I feel its a speedbump and bad for blockchain. |

I expect Bitcoin Gold to be dumped heavily when it's on the market and but may get support at some point as a dev's back up plan to the potential 2X attack. When the 2X fork finishes, depending on the result, Bitcoin Gold will adjust its value accordingly.

Are you mad? what is the advantage to buy the bitcoin gold? with pre-mined token goes to the developer and why? that was just easy to mine like another altcoin and what's the difference? Every veteran know about the fact that was very easy to make a clone to the bitcoin. as you can see many coin with similar name with the bitcoin has made by a lot of people. Easier to mine is great except it really means the network is less secure. Security is an important aspect of a coins value. |

Easier to mine is great except it really means the network is less secure. Security is an important aspect of a coins value. agree sir that any existing coin should provide a sense of security to its users because if it does not have a sense of security nobody will believe or use the coin and the coin will be overshadowed by the sense of loss |

Is this a serious post,it sure sounds like we are being trolled here. I'm sorry, I personally don't have as much faith on Bitcoin Gold as you do. I would rather buy alt coins that BTG. I don't even know where this coin came from, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a very well thought out scam as many others have indicated. We don't even know who is the team behind it, we just know of a few names. |

No way, BTG Bitcoin Gold is like Bitcoin Cash it is not for long term investment. Check out the price of BCH, it was dumped without mercy. I dont want to risk my money on this.
