121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins are traded with Bitcoin or Ether and not with fiat directly? on: August 27, 2017, 01:00:24 AM
as we all know that bitcoin is considered as an international currency and that is the main point why it is being used to buy altcoins rather than your local currency or so called fiats. aside from it is an international currency, most of the alternate coins are having this so called plat form where they find it way more to easy to buy and sell, and for us investors and them developers could both benefit, as it is hassle free and prevent so much time consumed.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: August 26, 2017, 07:46:46 AM
I think it is really good that most of the people don't know what is bitcoin. This means that we are among the 1% (not sure about the percentage) of people that have known bitcoin sooner. That time when all of people know what is bitcoin and need that for their life, the price will be much higher than today. So we will be rich.

Therefore we should start earning bitcoin right now so that we will become rich in the near future. I believe that someday bitcoin has been accepted by local areas because I believe that in a digital country we need a digital money and If that so bitcoin will become a necessities of people.
its not that easy as you think earning bitcoin is still working hard as you could, it is not like just you are only playing around or tricking some children to earn money. well it is also nice and one of the advantage that even if we are not an early adopters we have been working for a while and we know how is it done, compared to other people that doesn't give care to opportunities and just sticking to what they commonly known.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 26, 2017, 04:15:21 AM
love altcoin Thanks to altcoin I was laid off at the company  Embarrassed Embarrassed
sad to say you've been laid off, but in any cases altcoin is also a good way for long term investments and it really is. once you sell at low peak it is the time you lose eventually but when you will just hold it as if it is your savings then who might know maybe one day it might help you a lot or maybe the price and its value will be higher, not for now but every other day is a new day once you are holding some alt coins.
125  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Will Bitcoin price reach $5000 before year end? on: August 26, 2017, 03:01:06 AM
Right now ung price ng bitcoin ay nasa 4400 usd at august palang ngaun.

126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is there is any on going ICO , which has bright future ? on: August 25, 2017, 03:21:14 PM
if your talking about ICOs that have a brighter future ahead, well there are too many to mention, as of currently I have seen so many ICOs that having a great potential and I think they can surpass any challenges or issues, it is just that they aren't that popular in the crowd so its hard to find those ICOs but you can just look at it if you want.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: August 25, 2017, 07:23:19 AM
Its definitely great to see how far it has become. I can still remember the days clearly when it was in an actual bubble... it hit 1200 and crashed back to 200 bucks back in 2014 ish. A good friend of mine used his BTC days before to pay his flight on cheapoair.

Yes that crash was really bad at that time beacuse it has reached first time  1000$ and that crash actually where people felt that Bitcoin is done and will not be back . But that time had anyone bought it today would have become billionaire with such a huge rise in price .

This is the beauty of this coin inspite of its fall it never fail to rise back again .

its volatility enables us to be more positive in our outlook in the upcoming changes not only in life but in crypto world. as for me it is considered as a big blessing and at the same time an opportunity that has been discovered all along.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: August 23, 2017, 07:00:00 AM
for some big time investors they consider bitcoin as their long time preservation or long term investment, they just buy whenever they want and sometimes they actually set buy limits at low prices or even wait til the price drops then buy, the next thing they do was just left it in their cold storage to freeze and then let the time pass buy, in other words they just hold it.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason that keeps me from investing in bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 03:07:19 PM
the fee issue will be fixed, if you are really buying for the future than you should not worry in 2-3 years by will be different and better

for now if you really want to use bitcoin use it to buy expensive stuff in this way you will not feel the fee

also besides this bitcoin still hold other advantages against fiat, first one us the control and the no-one restriction you have over your money

another one is that by holding Bitcoin your chance to have a fortune in the near future is very high, compare this to fiat where you only lose money..
absolutely, your worried in an earlier approach, look forward and stop imagining things, there is always risk involved, but as what the others stated it is not suited to be a day to day currency not unless you have so many bitcoins to spend for your daily expenses. and if you will look forward and just don't mind about the fees or what is it really happening, you can think peacefully and start dreaming or achieving you long term goals.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your heaviest bags? on: August 20, 2017, 01:57:38 PM
I started to accumulate ripple. The price didn't increase during bitcoin pump and I expect a strong action from ripple price. It can be $0.3 in one day easily like old days.

Hold on to your XRP! I'm not selling mine.
If Ripple are successful in what they're trying to achieve, it could well make XRP number one in marketcap and well in excess of $1 per coin. The only thing is that it might take a while - banks and regulatory authorities can move at a glacial pace.
i've been positive and looking forward for it too, sad to say that it has still not reach the selling price yet, but I am not selling it right away, I am even eager waiting for some updates about it and I am holding it for long term, I am not in a rush anyway.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you plan to quit the altcoin world? on: August 20, 2017, 04:13:26 AM
to tell you the truth, I am really badly wanting to quit alt coin trading, but as I remember and think back what is the best possible alternative way to replace trading and investing alt coins, I always ended up being confused, and so for now there is no other best way that doesn't involved risks so I am still buying alts and just like your friend OP coming to check it back yearly.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Altcoin on: August 20, 2017, 02:25:30 AM
prices? Ahahaha seriously speaking the prices are the most common difference in them, they were both crypto currency but differs in purpose, prices and its features. we may tend to say that they are still the same yes it is, but as what i can observe bitcoin and alt coins are inversely proportional sometimes for some of the alts
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in local services on: August 19, 2017, 12:59:41 PM
i think your idea OP is also good, but considering the fact that not all of the people knew so much about bitcoin and how this it work, maybe the ending would be we will be lecturing the people about what is bitcoin amd how does it function and what else can be done for that.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Random thoughts on the recent and upcoming hardforks. on: August 19, 2017, 10:35:28 AM
as for my own opinion, we cannot predict or stop whether hardfork will be decided on the next years, stil we cannot stop that incoming updates or news regarding that one. initially speaking what comes and go i still accept it as long as it would be for the better purpose then its okay. no matter what we speak of, if it will happenwe cannot do anything about it.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 19, 2017, 08:16:43 AM
i guess yes maybe it could survive. maybe at that time it would be much more updated and more improvised than we commonly used it, and i think it still depends if someone would keep it maintained. if we just look at the current price, it has still a lot to improved and it is not yet well developed, so it has still have a room for improvements. to think that it has the potential to be much successful, just like fiats it would just keep on circulating in the economy.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly decentralized? on: August 19, 2017, 05:16:31 AM
Aha! at last I have found a good answer. I totally agree with you mate (gentlemand); Anybody with money can mine bitcoins (which you cannot do with gold because you need permits from the mofos up there), anybody can HODL bitcoins (which you cannot do with fiats for long term because of the signatures  Grin ), anybody can buy and sell bitcoins anonymously (which you cannot do with fiats because the IR will interrogate you where did you get that money)...

It's getting harder and harder. I have some old contacts from LocalBitcoins that may not necessarily ask for ID from every customer. But LBC traders are being treated as money transmitters now. Fiat onramps will always be patrolled by the authorities.

I suggest that you guys should not think too much whether someday the bitcoin will be centralized or not... let us all enjoy what is happening at the moment - the future is our grandchildren's problem, not ours.  Grin

This is true to some extent. As much as I am a "Bitcoin Maximalist" (to use Vitalik's term), I'm trying to be open to the idea that Bitcoin could face future scaling problems, network splits, and devastating existential issues that we can't even think of right now. So, our grandchildren might all be using an altcoin someday.
agree.. What may happen in the future may come, but we cannot predict or stop if it is going to happen, the main problem is that we always think a lot  about what may happen.. I totally agree that what may happen let us just enjoy what we have right now, we cannot control everything within our hands.. And let us also think that let us stop from setting our standards, live life to the fullest and enjoy.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How this picture makes you feel ? on: August 19, 2017, 03:46:22 AM
if it is your profit well congrats, if you keep on dwelling in the past and just blame for not investing early, sure you haven't moved on yet. even me i am regretful on not knowing it earlier as possible, but what can i do? it is already done and I cannot turn back the time to when it all started, so i just need to recover and start from where i knew it. Hoping that it should be successful and no one knows it when.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: BCC more profitable to mine on: August 18, 2017, 04:40:04 PM
It is currently 2% more profitable to mine on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.
https://cash.coin.dance/blocks

And I am hoping that there would be more miners who will shift their focus on BitCoinCash (BCH). BCH will have a place in the sea of so many alternative coins. In fact, its value is right now going up. I am sure there are many people who are happy to know of this latest development. I am not a miner though and I am not planning to be one since it can be expensive to invest in mining equipment.
hoping it would happen... i just even knew recently that bitcoin cash already has its own mining, well since before I really wanted to try mining but i guess it would be too rough for me, considering the expenses for equipments and organize how to maintain my mining. it would also be great if you are an early adopter in mining bitcoin cash, those chances and possibilities on the price to become higher is really desired. but still it depends, there are also daily changes to ones market.
139  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: August 18, 2017, 12:46:29 PM
we still not know yet what will happenin the next generations, it will be decided on how the people will handle this world, or are those decisions we made can bring this world to misery or to a good side. sad to say that at this current state, our world is already suffering in different pollutions, more importantly the human pollution that causes destruction not only to our home but to mental states of someone.
140  Other / Off-topic / Re: Transgenders. on: August 18, 2017, 08:31:13 AM
so far as i can observe in our community, most transgenders from different countries are being abusive because of what they so called LGBT community which makes them the third and new gender across the globe. it doesn't matter to me if you are a male, female or a member of such LGBT community as you are deserving to be respected then i should respect you, if its not then i don't care what are you but I wont respect you either. that is how my principle works.
