61  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a world war affect the price of Crypto? on: April 14, 2018, 03:51:56 PM
Times when States fought each other and destroyed their cities have passed. No one wants victims and destruction. Even if the world war between the big States takes place, it will take place on the territory of third countries. For example, because it is now happening in Syria. Did this war have a strong impact on the price of bitcoin?
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: What now? on: April 14, 2018, 03:46:05 PM
As we see the bitcoin value is gradually decreasing again on this moment  which is from 8k the price fluctuate back to $7900 , now we need strong explaination about this which is if it's a normal correction of price or it will decrease gradually  again back to the bottom.  ?
Do you look at the price of bitcoin every hour? This is a correction that is inevitable. In two hours you will be asking the question why the price of bitcoin has risen to 8100 dollars? It seems to me that you can always find a more pleasing entertainment than to look at graphics. Now bitcoin has not even reached 50% of its true value. This you will see towards the end of the year.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Paying Your Crypto Taxes? A Recent Study Suggests Otherwise on: April 14, 2018, 03:39:04 PM
I am from Pakistan and at this time there are no rules made by government about bitcoin earning taxes so at this time I am not paying but I am sure when the next Annual Budget will come there will be some laws created on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency and I am hoping they will add tax on all cryptocurrency earnings.
First of all, I want to say you're wrong. In Russia, as in other countries, there is an income tax. If you change bitcoin to Fiat you are obliged to include this amount in taxes. But in Russia, poor monitoring the completeness of tax payment and it's easier to hide them. In America, everything is much more complicated. But I support Americans not to pay the state only for what it is. Taxes must be earned. I don't pay taxes either.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to 8k$!! Is this recovery or a trap? on: April 13, 2018, 10:42:55 AM
It's not a rescue and not a trap. This is the beginning of market recovery. We will have to wait a few more months for a full recovery. But time is not a problem. I think the biggest problem is trust. Many people still don't trust bitcoin. They themselves become victims of whales and the rest of the market destabilizes.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is one and only no matter what on: April 13, 2018, 10:35:05 AM
The world is changing. Bitcoin gave us a mechanism for self-government and self-organization. I hope that it will give impetus to the development of crowdfunding. But you have to be ready for that. It seems to me that even the most advanced part of society is not ready to take responsibility for abandoning the habit of living on the instructions of the government.
66  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: April 13, 2018, 10:13:47 AM
I'm not afraid of checking KYC. But we must understand that once we have provided our personal data, we cannot hope for confidentiality. Today, I was called to the phone and offered to attend a conference on the development and use of cryptocurrency that will be held in my city. On question about how where they took my phone they responded that cooperate with many exchanges. Here's a concrete example.
67  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: REASONS OF ILLEGALIZING BITCOIN on: April 13, 2018, 10:07:51 AM
As a cryptocurrency weight gains a significant amount, it would start to compete with the amount of regulated traditional money and this would reduce the effectiveness of government monetary policy. The rise in the value of bitcoins in this case would lead to deflation in the real market and the virtual currency causing devolving of real currencies.

There are lot of scams out there and a lot of people are victimized by those different kind of scams, so some countries are avoiding it before it is too late, but some countries are studying it first before they will gonna open bitcoin in the public again.
It is always the responsibility of the individual not to become a victim of fraud. It is wrong to shift responsibility to the government. But I am sure that the state cannot assume such responsibility. All the talk that the government forbids the use of cryptocurrencies to protect its citizens is a lie. Governments do not have a pragmatic interest in pursuing their goals and in ensuring the safety of their citizens.
68  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitfinex locked my 500 BTC account and is asking for police report on: April 13, 2018, 09:52:59 AM
This confirms the fact that it is impossible to store a large number of bitcoins on the exchange. The main reserves should be stored in a personal offline wallet. Exchanges should be used only for those amounts that you transfer to Fiat. Even income from trading can not be stored on the exchange. The recent kidnapping of the Director of the exchange EXMO was also associated with the same problem.

It is quite risky to keep the coins in an exchange wallet, but the day traders don't have any other option. Unless you are using a decentralized exchange, you can't do day trading without the coins in your exchange wallet. One of the reason why I hate day trading.
I think that the problems do not arise in day traders. You will agree with me strange to ask about the origin of the coins if they were all earned on the exchange. I think it's the problem of those who gets the coins to the exchange. 500 btc is a big sum and there are always those who want to take away this money. For this reason, I never got on the exchange more than 1 btc.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's time on: April 12, 2018, 07:45:59 PM
I think it's just a steam release from the boiler. Sustained growth will begin later. Perhaps there will still be a rollback to the level of 7000 dollars. But this is a sure sign that whales can no longer restrain the market. The price will rise as steeply as today with small kickbacks. After the start of the stable growth of prices.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you prefer Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: April 12, 2018, 07:40:01 PM
Ethereum’s purpose is to offer and run decentralized smart-contract applications powered by blockchain technology. It provides users with a platform and programming language to build the applications on. Bitcoin’s purpose, however, is largely different. It serves as a decentralized store of value — a peer-to-peer digital currency, used for financial transactions. It eliminates the need for third parties in payment technology. It depends on how do you compare them and what do you want to use them for. Ethereum is better than Bitcoin and Bitcoin is better than Ethereum at the same time.
I don't see any point in choosing one of these coins. I always have a reserve of both coins. Bitcoin 70% + Ethereum 30%. When I need to sell some of the coins I choose the coin that is profitable to sell at the moment. Only this year it all went wrong as usual. Both of these coins showed a synchronous fall.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies - neither money or assets but worthless alphanumeric characters on: April 12, 2018, 07:27:55 PM
Numbers are also a coordinate system. Why cryptocurrencies can't be part of a coordinate system. We make up the rules ourselves and then follow them. Do you really think dollars are worth more than the paper they're printed on? I am sure that bitcoin has more prospects than the dollar.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seeing Green on: April 12, 2018, 07:13:01 PM
Guys i think our wish is now officially granted seeing all green like this makes me so happy, Glad that i invest some of my savings into Bitcoin, i'm excited to see the price Up to 10k+ by the end of the month.

yes I agree, it is starting to recover now. I can that market is getting green. I am hoping also the same that this will continue rise and pump.

I don't recommend you to relax. Still may be we are waiting for a correction. I think this year will be like a roller coaster. The whales will test our patience. Prices will fluctuate in a large range. Every year bitcoin completely changes its behavior. I find it funny when someone tries to make predictions based on past price behavior.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: April 12, 2018, 07:02:17 PM
We are at $8000 a coin and steady, hell two years ago I sold a coin for around 2k to pay a tax bill, this kind of growth and price was what we hoped for. We aren't even on the lower side of things.
Bitcoin will never die. Very high demand will not allow to do so. I don't mean the demand that pushes prices up. I mean, the demand for the idea of a free currency. Now there are a lot of random people in the bitcoin community. They destroy bitcoin from the inside. They are the first to panic and enhance the action of the whales. They support the idea of legalization. It is also a betrayal.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 11, 2018, 10:29:07 AM
Each currency has its advantages. I am opposed to narrowing the range of possibilities. What for? Let there be Fiat, bitcoin and all altcoins. Each person will choose for themselves the most acceptable option. Bitcoin is not always convenient. But if you use it in conjunction with other currencies, you can always find a convenient option.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you willing to give BTC in charity? on: April 11, 2018, 10:18:53 AM
I'm very skeptical about charity. It's not because I'm greedy. This is because to feed the bums at the expense of donations is a bad idea. If at the expense of charitable contributions enterprises on which poor people worked were built, I would not be against it. We need to change the concept of charity. Then it will be a real struggle against poverty. Now I see only profanation.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soros is buying crypto on: April 11, 2018, 09:50:27 AM
I think it is FUD notice. Becarefull before you buy or sell. It very RISK.
Do you believe the words of this lying Fox? George Soros is one of the most successful speculators. It contains many corrupt officials in different countries. Because of this, he was involved in the ruin of many people. Perhaps each of us has lost a part of their income with his help. I believe that he has been buying cryptocurrencies for a long time. All his statements are fud.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price prediction by December 2018 on: April 09, 2018, 02:19:29 PM
Why do you forecast for December? Until December still very much time and no one knows what will the price and how many coins you can preserve. I have no doubt that if the whales will be able to reduce prices to $ 5,000 then many more people will sell their coins and they will not care how much the coin in December.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Dip Related to Tax Liabilities - Analyst Tom Lee on: April 08, 2018, 02:47:41 PM
I could agree with you. It seems very logical. But I'm not sure that the tax liabilities of bitcoin users in the US are so huge. Capitalization of crypto-currencies have lost about half. You think all that money went to pay the taxes? I highly doubt that. There's another reason. The fall in prices began after the appearance of futures. I think that's the reason.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone just HODLing? on: April 08, 2018, 02:41:29 PM
Coin trading is a good business. But at a time when prices in the market are greatly reduced inexperienced traders are very difficult to navigate in prices. At this moment the best country is holding. You're not taking any chances. You will lose your trading income, but it will be compensated after the price increase. And prices will recover faster.
80  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [03-04-2018] Bloomberg - exchanges are charging millions to list coins on: April 08, 2018, 02:37:37 PM
Exchanges charge very little for their services. I think that's acceptable.

You realize that cryptocurrency exchanges are the only type of exchange that charge percent commissions, right? Conventional stock/commodities broker-dealers always charge flat fees on transactions. Exchanges have made a killing off naive cryptocurrency traders and investors since inception. It's still incredible to me how little people complain about trading fees vs. other markets. Robinhood may encourage some industry change there, as they've now introduced zero-fee trading.

If you create some product that millions of people need, you also have the opportunity to become a millionaire. It seems to me that such accusations are a manifestation of human greed.

This discussion isn't about profiting from developing a good trading engine and designing/marketing a great exchange. It's about profiting from market manipulation and basically extorting altcoin developers into lining an exchange's pockets (under threat of de-listing). And if coins that were listed before such ongoing fee policies were instituted are subject to them now, that's really grimy.

But exchanges on the whole aren't exactly known for being honorable. What else is new? Cash grabs all around.
Cryptocurrencies are a free market. I agree with you that whales manipulate stock prices, but how can they be banned? We need to be able to confront them. When the prices of coins fall we sell them cheap. It's not the whales ' fault. When whales lower prices they sell their coins at a discount. Who prevents you from buying and prevent the collapse of prices?
