601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can any POS coin have a Total Supply? on: July 19, 2017, 06:43:58 AM
Where did you get that statement about PoS not producing new coins cause it s obviously wrong.

Most of coins, including PoS, have total supply. But that does not mean the current number of coins in cicruclation is even close to the total supply. It s like saying the total number of XYZ coin will be 1000. However, the current number of coins available on the market is 300. The rest will be minerd/staked over the years.

If you re interested in PoS, my best recommendation is DMD Diamond. I have been staking it for over 3 years and it has brought me nothing but PROFITS. Let me know if you need more help.

602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: July 19, 2017, 06:37:18 AM
Besides Byteball and Stellar, the rest seem just too useless to even try. Clam and Bitcoincoin s fine too but these re based on your BTC balances some time ago.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 19, 2017, 06:21:42 AM
I told everyone to buy when price got close to weekly 20 MA hope a few listened to me and are in profit now:)

Actually I do follow your portal, good stuff my friend, Lots of useful guides and great suggestions. Keep up the good work.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 18, 2017, 07:16:45 PM
Just look at that stats, more than 600 blocks are in favour of segwit2x pool and it is still growing day by day. Thanks for sharing this analysis as it made me sure about my recent bitcoin purchases as well as more bitcoins that are going to be mine very soon. Lols. I mean this hard fork would be just blow wind which will disperse in the atmosphere in no time and we are again ready to get those profits we are waiting for.

No need to thank me, I just wanted to stop this FUD which brings good to noone but speculators.

As we can see, miners have already started signaling SegWit2x SUPPORT and not only intention to support. This means we might have SegWit2x locked in before the end of this week. After that, there s really no need to consider any further instability cause Bitcoin will be overcoming one more major obstacle.

Yeah it was pretty obvious this was going to happen from the start, I guess people just like spreading FUD in general.

Those that read and act on that FUD lose money. I know there re tons of people now here who sold at 1850 scratching their hands asking WTF happened? It s simple, DONT SELL when market s down. Simply DONT sell.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pain realizing early stupidity on: July 18, 2017, 11:49:49 AM
Well, I guess all these people who sold BTC during these panic which took place last few days will know how that feels so in a year time.

I guess every education costs money. Sorry for your loss bud.

Could some on update the blockchain Download? My download over the blockchain is very slow and sometimes it's just stuck

On the first page of this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.0 there are links to the Blockchain  Windows April/2017 archive and the ready Diamond Wallet Windows Installer + Database

I'm using it already, but the last 7 % are downloading since this morning, it's slow and i don't know why.

Been syncing for 6 hours already here, still not done.

DMD Diamond s a 4+ years old coin, lots of transactions, it takes some time to sync. However, you need to do it only once. You can also use presynced chain if you want, you can find it on page 1 of this thread.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 17, 2017, 08:11:46 PM
I'm with you man. I always told myself since the news came out that it will split the bitcoin badly. With the current rate of supporter I don't think either that it will affect the blockchain by any means. With that belief I also saved up many bitcoins and bought new when the price was so less which is still less for new investors looking for an opportunity. I'm still more than happy that this scene happened as it gave me chance to buy more bitcoin and invest for future projects. :-)

+1 to this attitude. Instead of seeing a crash, people should see an opportunity not only in BTC but also in alts. This kind of buy low opportunity takes place once every 3-4 years.

610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 17, 2017, 04:11:45 PM
Ok, so yesterday, July 16, SegWit2x support was 87.7%. Today it has increase to 88.2% and keeps growing.

https://coin.dance/blocks

Still I see tons of people crying about potential fork. Cmmon people, we all know by the end of this week SegWit2x support s probably going to go over 95%. Why do you buy that FUD about Bitcoin fork?
Regardless what you think about this Bitcoin core vs Miners debate, do you really think a fork supported by 3-4% of the miners is a sustainable Bitcoin chain?

As usual, panic makes weak hands sell and they lose money. The purpose of this thread is make people think twice before they sell coins they purchased at a premium. Dont let be manipulated by pumpers&dumpers and do not let panic gets you.

Dont let pointless panic redistributes your money from impatient to more patient traders, as Mr. Buffett would say.

Miner support is not the same as user support. Segwit2x is an attempt to replace Core with one person and centralize Bitcoin around miners, who will have control over code development and nodes later in the future. That's a very valid concerns for people who are actually passionate about Bitcoin, as opposed to those who just see Bitcoin as a method to get more fiat.

People behind core have code their personal interests to stay in control of BTC code the same way as miners. On the other hand, do you really want to say that average Joe who invested money in 0.2 BTC should be the one calling shoots as opposed to large miners farm owner who s got millions at stake. In what other industry on the face of the planet average Joe s one who calls the shoots? Nowhere. Why? Cause it simply does not work. 101 millions average Joe have got 101 ideas of how BTC should be developed, governed and scaled.

I d choose profit induced problem solving, decision making and stability over fake democracy any day.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 17, 2017, 01:07:56 PM
I have nothing against occasional price swings, after all this is how traders make money. I do have a line which I think should not be crossed. That line is when FUD and corresponding market response starts affecting credibility of Bitcoin. Cause reputation s so hard to build and so easy to destroy.

I also think nothing major will happen but people, especially new investors, will lose a lot of money and they will not come back to crypto for a long time. If d have to choose between these users and speculators, well, the choice d be easy.

Still solid as a ROCK! Talking about storage value, BTC drops 20%, DMD Diamond goes up in price.

614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining dropping rapdily on: July 17, 2017, 06:55:01 AM
I d suggest you read a bit before asking people to spoon feed you with information you should know if you want to mine.

Mining and not understanding the concept of difficulty is like wanting to drive a car and understanding what does your engine do.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will all coins continue to go down until 1st August? on: July 17, 2017, 06:51:07 AM
First things first, no need to panic. Whatever coins you ve purchased and whatever current price is, THERE IS NO LOSS UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY SELL.
So, if u re a sensitive type and like to check market price every 2 min, DONT. Just step away from your computer and come back after a few days/weeks.

The market will definitely be extremely volatile for the next couple of weeks even months. I do not think we ll see a decreasing trend only cause current dumps re caused by completely ignorant people who dump cause they panic. For example, BTC was $1830 yesterday and $2000+ already today. So, what do you think how do people who panic sold yesterday feel? Well, like stupid idiots.

Finally, I do not think crypto market will get destroyed after Aug 1. I do not even expect a fork considering SegWit2x support is currently at just under 90%. We have seen these crypto dumps before and the best option is to learn how to ride the wave. Patience is everything in trading.

Oh boy, this sound so legit. Can I send 50 BTC without any verifiable date or actual proof? Please, let me help you take my money!
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin scaling war explained in simple terms on: July 17, 2017, 06:27:12 AM
People,

decentralization s just a myth which has never worked well in practice. Why? Cause there need to be a way of decision making. Look at Bitcoin core, which should be a decentralized solution, even devs who re part of Bitcoin core cannot propose a unilateral solution for the scaling. Not to mention they also have ulterior motives of staying in control.

IMO, it s much better to have a centralized solution which is stable and WORKS then so called decentralized which creates instability every 6 months. Why do you people think large mining pools would do anything to harm BTC? FFS, they make their money out of BTC, for them it s very important for crypto to grow in price and develop.

I do come from an ex socialist state and I ve seen benefits of strong leadership and those of western democracy. In both cases, there need to be a leader, someone who makes the final decision, top of the pyramid. The rule of the people has NEVER worked.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Couple of questions about the upcoming change(s)... on: July 16, 2017, 08:03:51 PM
At the moment 88% of the minters are signaling that they will implement segwit2x.

If this holds these miners will mine Segwit blocks before the end of July.

This basically means that the remaining 12% of miners could mine old legacy blocks but given their they are in the vast minority it is expected that they will follow and also mine segwit blocks.

Expected, but what if they don't??
This mean there would be 2 coins no?

Yes, but the second one ll be just another alt, which will be dumped into oblivion, which means it will not be profitable for them to mine it. As a result, there will be only 1 BTC and all this fuzz is just assholes and ignorant people creating panic.

10% of hashrate should not decide faith of BTC, that s good old democracy.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of lost coins after August split. on: July 16, 2017, 06:48:00 PM
Once more, there will be NO split, at least not a permanet form.

Just take at SegWit2x signaling data. https://coin.dance/blocks

87.7% signal SegWit2x and this ration will grow till August 1. How the fuck will Bitcoin fork? Cause 2% of miners will signal something else?Huh
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Journey to Hell, With Bitcoins on: July 16, 2017, 10:21:45 AM
I'm not a Fan Guy of Bitcoins.
I had received payments of $3,000 for my work from client and which was hard working money while the BTC/USD price was $2700+,
And as other's were expecting the price would push up to $3K+.

Now its Going down and down and I can only see Red Candles and no support levels in the BTC/USD chart,
Guys I'm really confused what's next. Will the price go down to $1K? I'm on a Massive Loss...Don't know how to recover
 Huh

Well, it s not a loss until u actually SELL IT. So dont SELL until it recovers.

Simple.
