I think it depends on governments. In my opinion governments play a critical role in 2018. If they accept bitcoin the price can rise very fast in a short time. But there is no guarantee. I personally think that it is possible.

I agree that KYC is against why cryptocurrencies has been created.

Certainly every country has its own rules of regulation in regards to bitcoin it depends on the country's policy, if in my country bitcoin transactions are not taxed, it is very good and profitable for bitcoin users in my country.

The Governments ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way.
this is only true if the government could find all that when they used any other method than cryptocurrencies. you see, all of that is already happening with or without cryptos and government can not do anything about it.
