Dev, can you get us an update (just the statement) on where we are with VIOR?
April 15 is just one week from here and I would like to know, whether you leave or not? Whether there is a merger or not?
As for now there is a big misinformation and that is definitely not helping to build the trust for your project.
Many possible users already got tired of that terrible PR handling.
PS. Bitcoin carpenter, please do not respond instead of Dev. I do believe that writing one or two sentences is not such a big effort, isn't it?
The merge is a very good idea IMHO. Without restarting the project there is no way to join kore with voir coin. In other words no kore 3.0 means no merger. If eurbids and viorcoin decided to join forces this could still happen, but it's a long shot. The other option could be an asset exchange that allowed both coins to be used for similar services. Tough situation. |

best thing we can hope for is a collaboration of devs to make this idea of a "telcom minute based currency that isnt held by one single entity" finally come to life.
Eurbids and Viorcoin, your skills and experience are very important for making this come true.

Does this VOIP thing really work?!? What's you feedback on this and call quality? Also, any call statistics recorded on the blockchain?
simple answer... yes for most. there may be a problem for those in parts of asia, but europe south and north america work sms calling to landlines has great quality, lag through wallet is similar to skype. |

Very fast and secure and they have many options, even deposits from debit cards. Withdraw can be direct on the bank account usd or eur just they need swift and account.
I have used Virwox for a year with no complaints FWIW. Any advise on trading in virwox? Set up an account is there enough volume to trade for bit coin quickly without losing to much money? |

I am currently working with a graphic designer in order to develop a GUI wallet concept. If you have any suggestions on how the wallet features has to be arranged, please comment. I'd like to see some super-simple interface anyone outside crypto can use and suitable also for mobiles. To have some idea, check this image I've created - http://snag.gy/TVRfB.jpg Of course this requires some additional features like address aliases or at least local phone book and some minutes estimation but I think it can give you an idea about my understanding of simplicity. +1 |

Does this mean you're carrying on with this project? I think that is a fairly good assumption. Dev, I know there are many things you cant disclose to us atm, but a quick update over the state of viorcalls would be nice. will you still be shutting down the sms calling feature in two weeks? will someone else be taking over the feature? will you just be putting it on hold until other features are released? whether or not you do shut it down is relevant for those of us hoping to promote the calling feature of viorcoin. other than that I think we can all agree that we are very happy to see you still actively at work on viorcoin. looking forward to seeing the new wallet!!!! I'm excited to see that qudrigax accepts cash for btc on local it coins. Since cavirtex died I have been searching for a new method. Bitcoiniacs is expensive when using their atm.
I am using Virwox Interesting method of deposit. I wonder if there is a market for voip minutes in second life? |

first in developing a ui second in developing business models.
I am not forwarding his pm's unless he says it's okay.
Remember though, it is not the dev job to do everything.
The community must stop sitting on their hands once development starts to role out.

I think BC is trying to take over ViorCoin's Gateway. Not sure what Eurbids and the Vior Dev worked out. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=834910.msg10898095#msg10898095I personally do not want to be involved in the decision making process but have voiced my concerns and a few ideas and will be supportive as long as the arrangements are acceptable to the Communities. MM I am not sure about the future of the merger or viorcalls either, I am just leaving the option open for viorcoin if that is where he would like to go. I am optomistic about the future of voip tech mixed with the blockchain currency aspect, and will continue to work on whatever the devs deem as the best way forward. hopefully both devs continue thier work, and we can all benefit from it. thought id share with you guys the sequence of events recently (just in case you missed it and are wonderring why I flip flopped on where I think the community should go from here)
viorcoin pm'd me about considerring passing viorcalls to someone else.
I expressed my interest, and let the community know.... some back and forth private discussion amounting to very little.
viorcoin announced that he will be closing viorcalls in april.
BIG PRICE CRASH
viorcoin pm'd me and let the community know he was considerring passing on the viorcalls to Eurbids.
I discussed the merger with Eurbids, as well as the Kore community, and since that meant I wasnt taking on the project, and because Eurbids seemed agreeable to things that the "bagholders" had discussed in slack, I pushed for for the community to stand behind viorcoins decision.
LOTS OF UNCERTAINTY
Viorcoin decided to keep working on the project, he is working on a new UI atm....
I asked everyone to show support for his renewed attempt at making this coin into what he dreamed it would be...
take my actions as blind faith if you want.
but Im not coming in here to ask community to stand behind one thing or another for no reason.
