Two days I was going to buy LIR and I bought some good amount of LIR , but today the price once again reduced too much and now I am wonder that what to do! I have not really used my bitcoins into any purchases in the physical world but I am still holding it in and waiting to see what happen by upcoming October or end of this year. I will be needing my money by those times. Perhaps, after that I may start spending bitcoin in my real life. I believe the price will be trading between $640 to 680 in the next few weeks, then it will rise to $720. The price has dropped a little making doubts that it will rise or fall in the coming months, hope the drop may be only 5 or 10% and continue to rise again in future. The possibility is noo bitcoin may become globally used but the paper money won't be replaced. It would still prevail in the areas where bitcoins can not be accessed !!! That is what I feel. It will take several decades for the bitcoin to be a global reserve currency. Even after that, it will not replace fiat. I have lent some money to HaoBTC. The interest rate is about 8%. It is not high, but I get some income.
For me it is somehow it is a good amount of rate, and of course you don't have nothing to do but to lend your bitcoin and going to wait for the interest rate and return of your bitcoin. That's a fair enough rate to lend your bitcoin to HaoBTC. That is nice rate but for me it is not enough, I do not lend money for interest, as I do not want to get lesser amount, yes that rate is lesser for me, I will start a business with my money and there I will earn much better then I will not need any 8% but I will earn more than 100%, I am working for that and sooner I will have my own business. |

As what all the successful entrepreneur said, don't reinvent the wheel, you can copy the methods of successful people, applying it to your current situation. They think bitcoin will make them rich, but that is not what bitcoin is intended for. It's about innovation in payments, not for making millionaires. So if you or i lose 10mil ethereum, there wont be a hardfork because they would have to rollback the entire chain for us,not just "our dao". Relax fella. The hacker dumping wouldn't be the end of it. Rationally, people should hedge and put 50 - 50 of value in both, and both should evolve towards equal price simply because their value proposition is essentially equal (same monetary proposition, same utility, same history), but then the market doesn't always acts to these simple rational views because there are more complex phenomena going on because these are ultimately, pure belief systems. The investors will not have any confidence to buy a coin when there is big potential for the price to be dumped to 0. for investors, your statement may be correct, but the traders do invest in there, they know that the price of ethereum is fluctuating and it has some potential appeared to increase so they are going to get profit from there. |

I'm working with XMG as a longer term investment as I like its USP of making it more difficult to mine as the hash rate increases, it stops big players from mining all the coin and encourages lower hash rate so better for the environment. When it gets more popular it will get very difficult to mine which should cause a good increase in price. It has a low market cap right now, so a bit of a risk, but I only invested in trading profits and mining so far.
I have BCN as a mine and trade coin due to its low price, so the trading profit is high even if the difference is by 1sat (although this market is starting to get saturated, so on the lookout for an alternative)
I like to keep DOGE as there is usually a long, slow pump and dump cycle and its quite an estabilished coin
I've also started investing in LIR as I like its USP of it effectively being a bankroll for a casino site, looks like quite an exciting coin.
LIR is really a more attractive coin for me, I also have invested a large amount of my money in this currency, I am earning a bigger amount of profit from this coin on weekly basis, as each week the price fluctuate from 0.000027 to 0.000016 , which is more favorable for me to double my money each week. |
