That should encourage people to hold. The longer this goes the less and less Viral in existence. We want to get these people looking for a quick buck out of Viral and on to the next one. This shakeout over the weekend should have helped that.

yes, plus payments from advertising, if you're a node    As far as i know payments from ads are to lower the coins supply for now. and for nodes that are beneficial to the network (have lots of followers)  You have an unfair advantage  I must rely on being an outlandish jackass to get new followers |

I don't really like it. Now even the local altcoin boards are above the real altcoin boards  When I first logged in I thought they had deleted the altscoin boards and I had to look for a bit.. ;P 99% of alts are scam shit pump and dumps. Having the alt section down in the gutter fits quite well |

Any theories on the NXT price increase today?
Just natural rotation, I believe. Dumping suppressed for a while, NXT is, charts in hand and fundamentals (as well as risk) contemplated, by leaps and bounds the best investment in crypto. Given that the volume is still minimal, I would expect this new trend to continue... once again, if the relentless dumping that has driven the price to these levels doesn't reappear. If that remains the case, I would expect a significant increase in both volume and price. Either way, like you said it's the best thing going in crypto by far, so I'm not going anywhere. |

Yes I believe this is one of the largest netweights I have seen as of yet. I think before this it was around 1.3 million that I had seen but I don't remember on what coin. Looking at the charts and ccex its clear that this coin is in high demand, and will surpass all our wildest expectations. Quick question for Adam here. Adam. Do you think it will be more then 3 months before we start to receive our payments for being a node and how often will my twitter account be used. I think it is about 1 time a day so far and that is great. More then 2 or 3 a day will be too much I think. It is now over 2.3 million and only keep growing. Real recordbreaker here. Balls and the experimental 10K holds the record with billions in netweight. Isn't weight a function of the coin count? If so, you should probably consider the ratio of staked coins out of the total available. "Billions", apples and oranges. |

If this grows as much as we think then at some point the burning of coins should stop and perhaps distribute the BTC as a payment to the nodes. We don't want the coin to shrink to a level that makes it unattainable due to no supply.

LOL.. I doubt it would get to that point.. Every time a new advertiser comes on board the price would be moving up making that next contract worth a bit less in Viral unless its contract value in USD was more then then previous. Ima reach out to adam on slack in a bit to see if they have this covered. TBH though. We're moving ahead of ourselves here. First move is to get the exchanges and build the node network. Once we have a few hundred or thousand nodes that's when everything will get interesting and all this kind of talk will be relevant. You limit the amount of users who would be able to get access to the display panel as described in the OP by reducing coin supply. The 5000 VIRAL minimum will be increasingly unattainable as people are priced out. If this is to truely go "viral", participation has to be available to the masses. |
