Reason? Each time a train is within a mile of my home, my chair shakes due to the vibration of the house. A few seconds later, the train horn blows as it approaches the crossing that's a half a mile away from here. This is true of either direction the train in coming from, and from the slight shaking I'm able to ascertain with a high degree of accuracy which direction the train's coming from, the error rate mostly caused by what position I'm setting in on the chair.
Further proof that the soil beneath us in this part of Illinois is extremely soft susceptible to myriad wave motion caused by an earthquake hundreds of miles away. That said, to protect my family from certain doom, I'm moving them all to the southeast corner of Idaho where its rocky, for I don't want to be killed by a natural disaster like an earthquake, et al.

At any rate, I haven't really followed what went on with Decksperiment, and to be honest, I don't usually read through his posts in any detail, much like I seldom do with BitMos, or BADecker (sorry BADecker  ), or a few others, and when I do read through his posts, I often have a hard time following his reasoning. But I tend to agree with Lethn on this one: effectively censuring and banning him because of his abusive nature alone might do more harm than good, and would probably set a precedent for a number of other users to be banned. Further, there is no reason to believe that would actually solve anything, as creating/buying new accounts is not hard. Then again, I haven't really had to deal with him (or others like him) so far, so it might be easy for me to say this. Well, as you can plainly see now, he's not only abusive, but he's also delusional and slanderous. Like BADecker pointed out, he's also quite a proficient poster, able to make dozens of delusional and slanderous posts against anyone who exposes him, effectively derailing any thread in the process as well. As I found out yesterday, he also has no problem with abusing the trust system either. (Check my trust rating to see what he wrote.) Frankly, I don't see how anyone can support this kind of behavior, as libel, slander and being a public nuisance are all not protected by the freedom of speech/expression. Common limitations on speech relate to libel, slander, obscenity, pornography, sedition, hate speech, incitement, fighting words, classified information, copyright violation, trade secrets, non-disclosure agreements, right to privacy, right to be forgotten, public security, public order, public nuisance, campaign finance reform and oppression. I advocate the right to freedom of speech/expression, but with this fundamental right comes responsibilities and those who abuse and misuse it should be held accountable. In the case of Decksperiment, I think a ban is appropriate and would benefit this forum greatly. The free communication of ideas and opinions is one of the most precious of the rights of man. Every citizen may, accordingly, speak, write, and print with freedom, but shall be responsible for such abuses of this freedom as shall be defined by law. |

I'm sure everyone here knows Decksperiment and is well aware of his abusive nature. Just in the last day or so he's attacked at least 8 people (including myself) and that's only what I know of. I try to ignore this idiot most of the time, but as he all too often attacks people and then, to make matters worse, even has the nerve to claim he's the one being attacked... well, that just takes the cake. He's taken it upon himself to come after me personally by approaching the mods in the thread 'Moderation of (possible) FUD and insults' and even posted blatant lies and slanderous remarks in my trust rating. What do you think? Should I be happy to have one person finally take the time to leave me a trust rating? /s Do you find yourself avoiding threads where he posts? Trolling is clearly against forum rules.. yet since last night, the exact same pattern emerge's, first vod, then oyo.. over and over again, not just the same pattern of event's, but continued trolling for no other reason than to continually stalk and insult, I'm not complaining about the insult's, but the trolling.. no matter where I go, this paedo squadron (evidence on VODs trust ratings) follow, which is ILLEGAL in the EU, and this forum IS based in the EU is it not, meaning I can in fact do something about it legally, if it happens one more time?
