Thanks for the thought,
But I have been watching PND since the POS switch
When PND switched from POW to POS,
PND was at 35 litoshi (Right before the Pump) POW to POS Switch
Then it was at  4 satochi per PND in May . (Before the Dump started on Mintpal.)
Now in the Month of July , it stayed almost at 1 satochi the whole time.
Big announcement with takes 30 days to announce , and now Aug 24 back up to 4 satochi.
Smells like pump & dump.
But here hoping , that it is not, We will know for sure by Oct 1st.
Hey if they up the interest rate to 5% or more and remove the issue of having to have your wallet connected all of the time for staking , then I might even take another look at it.

Good Luck To You Guys Either Way.
 Cool

P.S.
Still like the Bears

First of all, that's your opinion, I think the devs have proving that it's quite the opposite of a pump and dump coin. Even when prices were low, they kept working on it.
5% interest rate would at the same time also cause 5% inflation which for us is too much. We've picked 2,5% for a reason. Staking without having the wallet open makes no sense, it's like asking the bank to give interest on money that you don't have in your bankaccount. The reason why you get interest is for keeping your wallet open, what is the true reason why you should keep your wallet open? To keep the network secure, the more people that have their wallet open, the more secure the network is and the less chance there is of double spend attacks.
We have a POS difficult of around 500-700. Other coins have a POS difficulty of less than 1. Their network is not secure at all and vulnerable for double spend.

Being patched becasue someone keeps trying to hack them... how lame can you be to try to hack a trusted community guy's games to try to get some extra PND..

Rethinking Digital Currency

Bitcoin, the world’s first decentralized digital currency, was launched in 2009. It was the prototype that introduced and demonstrated to the world the potential benefits and usages of a decentralized digital currency. However, digital currencies are still in their infant stages and have yet to see widespread mainstream adoption and usage as a unit of exchange both online and offline. There is a need to rethink the current approach to the design and marketing of digital currencies in order to achieve a global mass appeal.

August 30th

On the 30th of August the Pandacoin (PND) development team will unveil and release the highly anticipated set of major development updates to Pandacoin. The founders, developers, and architects of Pandacoin (PND) endeavor to redefine the current space with this set of major development updates, and be positioned to become the future digital currency of choice for the masses.

Our prices will ultimately be determined by the activity of the coin. As long as devs are constantly improving and their work shown to the public, people will gain confidence with the coin.

This is true but again, we're not looking at the price, we're looking at the amount of users/people with wallets.

Made a deposit in bleutrade. Apparently their wallet is syncing so I'll not be able to get the deposit to show up any time soon.
Yes me too, just be a bit patient Smiley

Their PND wallet is synced.
I made a deposit of PND, exchanged some for BTC then withdrew some PND. Painless and under 1 minute transaction Cheesy
I like that exchange for now.
Curious about the fiat part of it, verification, (bank) account(s) and the rest.

Doesnt seem to need verification as far as I can see. You can upload money with payeer, they support paypal, credit cards,..
