601  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: September 05, 2013, 02:29:36 PM
I just have read on SebastianJu group buy that one of his batch changed status to -Prepare shipping.
Wow great news, batch 1 & 2 from steamboat were ordered before SebastianJu's first batch!  Maybe we'll be mining next week!

Steamboat, an update on the batch shipping (if any or none) would be great .... I understand that a lot of things are not within your direct control but at the very least some sort of communication ..

Were there any updates on the refunds for shipping + Assembly?

Cheers

604  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: August 30, 2013, 01:38:25 PM
Will these be boards or USB sticks?

Boards like the BitBurners.

Executive summary:
50% refund guaranteed.
70% money recovered when ordering a BitFury product.

Is this % of price with or without VAT?

More details on the refunds:
Shipping - 100%
VAT - will be calculated and refunded partially
Power supplies - 100%
BitBurner Boards - 50%
Stacking Cables - 50%

New thread for BitFury related questions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=283992.new#new

May I know what is the procedure for requesting for a refund (if its available)

Cheers

Did the upgrade option just expire for the Saturn->Jupiter? I thought this was only going to be removed tomorrow Friday or did they run into issues?

cheers

Now that burnin is about to open his webstore, should we purchase the assembly from him or should we wait it out till we have some sort of confirmation on the chips?

Thanks

I noticed that there was a mention of the ability to upgrade the miners i.e Saturn to Jupiter? How does that work and will the upgrades effect queue position?

Cheers

Definitely keen, depending on the final price. I would only be interested in the usb miners. The other parts can be easily sourced locally and should be easier for shipping, customs and warranty

Cheers

Hi, I'm having restarts every hour. Currently running the 20130703 firmware on my #2 module unit and 20130627 on my #4 module unit (I just merged 4 modules in another case).

Lower your overclock to 350 or less. As mentioned by another poster your HW% error rate seems above the norm

this issue aside, BTCT always seems to be the better choice over Bitfunder.  Is there a way to transfer shares without selling and re-buying?

Yes, check the BTC-TC details, however this is not a fast process.  Right now it may take 2-3 weeks to get the shares transferred, as we are
working on a number of other things.

My understanding was that you could transfer them from BTC-TC to Bitfunder and not vice versa (which the op was asking) ? And that there was a 1 BTC transfer fee?
611  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: July 04, 2013, 03:38:18 PM
My payments per dividend was much higher on amc-pt than on amc on bitfunder? Any reason for this?

True indeed.

0.00000543 per share on BTCT
0.00000139 per share on BitFunder

How did that happen?

I missed out on a LOT of BTC lol

I guess this explains why the AMC-PT (pass-through) is going for higher than the actual AMC listing on Bitfunder  Grin
612  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 16 - 3.5" HDD and PCI Express Mounting Adapters on: July 01, 2013, 02:36:54 PM
Thank you for sharing.

I do wonder how these would hold up with all the heat when printed with ABS ? PLA of course, is definitely a no-no as it will tend to get "soft".

Ah.. Tinkercad...Nice renderings. I was planning to do something like that once I get my boards Grin
614  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: June 29, 2013, 05:01:35 PM
It seems that it would be in everyone's best interest if the board was made to support more power right from the beginning

+1 on this sentiment.

I can't speak for others waiting on Klondike boards as I have a bunch ordered through Steamboat, but am tempted to wait for the rev2 boards that allow overclocking rather than accept a rev1 that doesn't.

+2 . I would wait on the rev2 board is this means a delay of 2 weeks or less.
615  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: June 29, 2013, 10:20:46 AM
I got it two days ago.. it was one heck of a ride. My avalon's Wifi is actually defective.. and I do not have internet where I live.. oh boy. the trials.. the pain.. But it was worth it. There is something sexy about making money while you sleep. Smiley

Most of us are running it without wifi due to the Fuse/overheat issue, so you are probably better off doing it wired.

618  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: June 28, 2013, 12:40:02 PM
Is the old model smaller, or is there just more padding in the new packaging?

very good padding in the new box

Padding is really good and tight in the second batch. Should survive most drops

How to indicate that I want the hosting option while making an order on your website?

Its on the order confirmation page, you get it to calculate the shipping cost, "get quote" and there will be an option for hosting
