601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need a multipool for your coin ? on: August 31, 2014, 09:24:04 AM
I would encourage people to wait for my review at this point before purchasing.

I haven't heard of anyone with this going yet and the service claims to be around for 1 year thus far.

I'll post a review once the pool is up and running.

Yeah let me know your pool URL once its up and running, I will throw some power at it to see what happens Smiley

Thanks
Mark
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AsicCoin ASC mining pool. on: August 31, 2014, 09:18:57 AM
oops I had to take some of MY miners off this pool as we were taking 60%+ of the network.

Now reduced to acceptable level Smiley
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / [ANN] AsicCoin ASC mining pool. 0% Fee's on: August 30, 2014, 01:27:47 PM

AsicCoin - ASC

NO FEE's

A SHA-256 crypto-currency,  with super random blocks. It is a coin for ASICs!

With the expected rise in the ASC price, I have created a pool with 0 fee's

Please however consider donating a small % of your mined coins.

With the ASC large block rewards this pool is perfect for small USB miners and of coarse the larger miners.

stratum port :3333

Thanks Mark Smiley

Hosted by my friends and based on a monthly subscription.

Man that sounds fishy, perhaps you can tell me who your friends are ?

I have a pool, and may be looking for what you have on offer here but why cant i host it myself for a one off fee ?

Still i will wait and see who your friends are, and what the fee's are

Cheers
Mark

Nothing Fishy about it. I feel like I'll get more customers if I let them approach me first Wink

They're called:

Livechains.net

Click on the red "All Services" button to see what they offer. It's all very high quality and professional.

If you get more than a $100 subscription I'll talk to Mark to get a discount for you.

Need to use my affiliate link for that though : http://portal.livechains.net/aff.php?aff=018

I had a feeling it may be those clowns.

For yours and everyone else's info I have an order pending with them and has been for 3 days now, despite several emails from them telling me it would be set up within a few hours its now 3 days lol

Was hoping this would be someone else I could try out Sad

I feel the need to now update my negative review on livechains to a more positive one.

My pool has now been setup, it had a few issues but livechains support was very quick in responding to my tickets and resolving the issues.

I will update further should I feel the need to do so, but as of right now i'm happy with their service

Thanks
Mark

Am I correct in thinking we don't need to do anything now ?

Or do we need to state our post count and request payment ?

Thanks
Mark

You are correct. The only thing you need to do is wait. Grin

Thanks, that's what I thought Smiley

611  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Working Faucet Rotator Website on: August 28, 2014, 04:26:12 PM
I'm surprised your looking to sell this ?
Its a passive income, it may be not a lot but an income non the less, for next to no work
612  Economy / Services / Re: who can create faucet for me on: August 27, 2014, 03:57:20 PM

Faucets do make money but its all in traffic , so if you have one faucet that has 100 views a day , you are not going to make any money. If you have oen that has 100k views a day , you will make profit definetly. Let alone clicks to ads , ads will start paying you to just show their banners rather than just pay per click payment Cheesy

Exactly that, my faucet makes me money, but as above I have a lot of traffic going through it, plus i have my own dedicated servers so hosting isn't an expense either.

And where on the planet are you located ?

We need to know that Smiley
614  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] S3 miner - I'm in the UK on: August 25, 2014, 04:30:14 PM
Why not try hosting your future s3 in US or somewhere outside EU when customs are not greedy Smiley Im in the UK as well and I hate the HMRC for what they did to me with the S1 (£30.33 Shocked )

Indeed another thing I have thought about, the issue I have with this way around it is the need for trust, as I know of no one in the US and have had no dealings there.
615  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] S3 miner - I'm in the UK on: August 25, 2014, 04:20:46 PM
Did you have any luck on this?

Without sounding like I am flaming, I really would try and afford 2 direct from Bitmain, Problem is, I have a B6 S3's I paid 0.64 and paid import duties being also in the UK (£55 per unit  Shocked ), I could not sell for less than 0.75 a unit, But this might not make its break even for you.

Anyone who has them in hand now could not sell them for the same as direct (thank you customs)

Let us know if you got a deal, It would be nice to see someone helping you out.

Nothing offered as of yet.

I was tempted to grab 2x S3's from bitmain, but as you have pointed out our wonderful HMRC wants £55 per unit.

I have had a look on eBay and they are going for £330 + which makes ROI not just difficult but almost impossible.

So I'm patiently sat here waiting for an offer lol

Cheers

Update !

Had a brief chat with the maker on skype he had me do a few things which didn't fix the issue, then when i said there was a load of errors in the logs he just vanished from skype.

Claims to use the blockchain, infact they use that as a strong selling point, but it looks like it dosn't work on the block chain and when i mentioned that this was his response:

me
‎18‎:‎07
im using blockchain btw‏

William Meyer
‎18‎:‎07
Oh‏
That could be a problen‏

Indeed it seems it is a problem.

Anyway I have passed the sript along to someone else how will fix it and modify it, and I shall be then selling it as a WORKING script for half the price it is advertised in this thread.

So the short version of all this is that the script does NOT work, and it seems the dev dosn't know why

Can you confirm this worked?

Quote
"Hello,
The script was fixed quite some time ago for him, he is just testing it rigorously. I have made note that blockchain.info Daemon does NOT work with the regular script that I send out, as they have different calls and formats of returns. I have made a custom blockchain.info pay checking script that I will now provide for users who need to use blockchain.info as their daemon server"

To be fair to the dev its "getting there" and he has got most of it working, there is still a few issues that i will bring to his attention when he is up and about

Thanks
Mark

Thats utter BS that he got banned. People how giveaway 0.0000001 ltc at a time should be banned, but this guy was giving away 1ltc at a time, not a small amount.. sheesh
I know it seems unfair, but rules are rules. Anyone that does that kind of giveaways will be banned. The staff only enforces the rules and I totally get that.

Classic. This forum's staff never seem to ban trolls, but they ban the guy giving out hundreds of dollars for free. They also sit on 1000+ BTC, and generate several thousand dollars worth of BTC every time they sell their ad slots. What exactly is this money going towards? They need to fix the trust system, quite a few people on the default trust list shouldn't be there. Everyones feedback should be valued (known scammers / trolls need to get banned in order for this to work), the system should be that everyone's feedback shows up to everyone. Maybe make newbie / junior accounts count as 1/2 a feedback point in order to prevent scammers from getting quick feedback.

wow hold on just one minuite !

There is no place on these forums for people that talk sense, and have good ideas ! Wink

I jest of coarse but can you really see any one giving a shit ... I cant im afraid, but do agree with what you have said !

Script does NOT work as advertised with the block chain, and after sales is non existent
