601  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has this forum helped you gain experience in bitcoin, share your experience on: January 15, 2024, 01:37:17 PM
It's truly remarkable how this forum has been of help to me, I can remember a time I couldn't use a simple metamusk wallet installed on my device 😀, it was so hard to understand many things like layer 2, I would be like what is a layer 2, but now I can proudly talk about bitcoin in public even giving solutions to people's problems and explaining some things I've learned, I mostly appreciate our seniors for helping out in our times of need.
I'm really thankful beign a part of this forum and I think everyone one has that time in their bitcoin Journey when they didn't know shit and had to ask some questions on this forum. Share your experience with us.
Before now I was not interested in Bitcoin because many Ponzi schemes in my country claimed to be dealing with Bitcoin. These get-rich-quick projects usually defraud investors making them lose the money they put in. Due to these problems, I was discouraged from having anything to do with Bitcoin. Another problem was the increase in shitcoins that engaged massively in pump-and-dump schemes and I thought Bitcoin was similar to these coins. But my contact with this forum made me understand that Bitcoin is different from these shitcoins and it is not a get-rich-quick scheme like I thought.

Many people in my area don't know that they can buy Bitcoin without centralized exchanges, but this forum has made me depend on decentralized platforms. I have also learned the importance of privacy and how to keep my Investment safe from this forum. I will say that almost everything I know about the Bitcoin space is through the help of this forum.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 15, 2024, 08:46:24 AM
Haaland may leave Manchester this summer.

He will have a release clause around 120-150mil and if Guardiola will leave, he will also leave.

Just my 2 cents.

I actually think Real Madrid is the team he is going to. We all know that Real Madrid really wanted to bring in Mbappe. But they were not able to. And there is another rumor circulating that Jude Bellingham is pushing to bring in Haaland in Real Madrid. So common sense said he might actually go to Real Madrid next unless Real Madrid actually reaches an agreement with Mbappe. Which I do not think is going to be easy actually. If Haaland joins Real Madrid, Mbappe might actually join Manchester City. What do you guys think about that?
Important players like Jude Bellingham could influence the decision on who to sign with Real Madrid. Players like Ronaldo and Messi had so much influence in the dressing room that even coaches might not stop them from attracting the kind of players they wanted in a team. Jude and Haaland were teammates in Borussia Dortmund and are close pals because reports claim that they speak with each other weekly. The bond between them could help facilitate the movement of Haaland to Spain.

But I think Haaland can only come to Real Madrid if he is not happy in Manchester City or if they offer him more than his current club offers. I doubt if Real can match the financial strength of City but there are also speculations that the Norwegian came to City just because it was his father's past club. Real was his favorite club but he also decided to come to England because it would be difficult to compete with Karim Benzema. Maybe this might be the right time for him to achieve his dreams in Santiago Bernabeu. The bottom line is that Real Madrid needs a striker and Haaland is also a good option besides Mbappé.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: girl math vs boy math on: January 15, 2024, 07:49:51 AM
so lets show you how people think about money
(example people are 20yo in 2020)

20yo female: "i want to have a $10k pair of high heels before im 24yo"
20yo male: "i want to have a $10k rolex before im 24yo"

20yo female: "i found a chinese knock-off heals for $2k, thats like 20% price, so i have $8k FREE money"
20yo male: "i invested $10k in crypto 2020"

21yo female: "i have $8k FREE i can get matching dress and purse and get my hair done and have a spa week(spends $5k) for FREE"
21yo male: "still hoarding crypto"

23yo female: "i have $3k FREE, oops shoes broke. oh inflation puts replacements at $3k, oh well still FREE"
23yo male: "still hoarding crypto"

24yo female: "i have $0k but i have my cheap out of fashion shoes and a smelly used dress i shouldnt wear again"
24yo male: "still hoarding crypto, i could buy 4 rolexes and still have money left"
It is generally believed that women spend more on clothing than men but most of the current research has disputed these assumptions. I read through several researches and discovered that men are now very conscious of their appearance and their spending on clothing is increasing every year. Therefore men may be no longer thinking about investing but how to look good like David Beckham, Lil Nas X, and Ryan Gosling. It is also common to see men in hairdressing and pedicure shops taking care of their looks, a lifestyle that was scarce in my country.

Nevertheless, I also believe that men will think more about investing than women. In my culture the man has the sole responsibility of taking care of the family, so they have to prepare for this before marrying. Many of them will consider Investing in cryptocurrencies as a means of raising funds to take care of the home. I will also summarize by saying that the habit of investment might influenced by the kind of information that a person is exposed to and not solely a matter of gender.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What strategies do you adopt that can help to make millions in sport betting on: January 15, 2024, 12:58:08 AM
After going through the thread below titled "Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting?"
I think it's possible using some sporting strategies. I wish to know which strategy have you been using to win big as a gambler.
The post you are referring to didn't give any strategy on how to make millions from betting. It was just inspiring us or giving us hope that we can luckily make millions from gambling if we keep trying. Hence the OP was taking of not to give up until something big came. I have heard and read about people who make a fortune through gambling but each of them had a different strategy they adopted which points to the fact that there is no known pattern that guarantees a big win in gambling. If there are such strategies I think everyone will adopt them to win big. Gambling is a combination of skill and more of luck, so we cannot be sure if the day the strategy will adopted will give us a win. We have had first-time gamblers who have no experience or defined strategy win big because they were just lucky.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: The fall of British empire is about happening october on: January 14, 2024, 05:27:23 PM

So British currency is Same as Zimbabwe currencies the europe knows that and they Don't want to Exchange British currency also the USA Don't want British currency.
These comments are not true because you don't have any valid statistics to back up these claims. The Zimbabwe dollar lost almost 86% of its value in two months in 2023. The Central Bank of Zimbabwe also responded by increasing interest rates by 150%. I don't think the Britsh pounds have ever lost up to 4% or the interest rate increased to over 6% in recent times. So I doubt the validity of your claims.

England knows that if they Don't take cryptocurrency as new currency the next will be economy also im sure they are smart Enought to act Right time.
Cryptocurrencies are legal in the UK and many businesses offer crypto services. There is no magic wand to solve the economic problems of the world including the British. And I am sure that crypto adoption is not the only solution to the economic woes of Europe.

No Question why Megan markle is in USA together with husband... The reason is clear they know What's gona be happening
Britain has multinationals that operate in many countries or the world including in developing nations. Most developed nations make money from exploiting the natural resources in Africa. These developing nations also need the support and services of these multinationals because without them many resources in these nations will forever remain untapped.

Rachel Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, left the UK because they claimed racial discrimination and lack of freedom. they went to America intending to become independent and enjoy freedom. But I think things didn't work as they predicted, so it will not be strange to see Prince Harry going back to the Firm and apologising for his past mistakes.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't only pray for mass adoption, start HODLING!! on: January 14, 2024, 04:56:45 PM
Don't procrastinate this year. Start Hodling.
I like your encouragement that we should shun procrastination and invest in the Bitcoin sector if we have the means. I have seen many people who have the means of investing but they keep procrastinating because they want to buy Bitcoin at a cheaper rate. Most of them have missed the opportunity to buy at a cheap rate because the price never got to their target. However, everybody is free to make investment decisions that suit them. But I will always use every available resource to keep buying because Bitcoin has great potential in the future.

Thats true in my street alone I guess I'm the only one that knows bitcointalk. But what I am saying is simple why would you be so intrested in mass adoption without having any bitcoin, if bitcoin value increases what does it mean to you as a bitcoin enthusiast. How do you express faith in bitcoin if not by participating and i mean hodling. I can also assure you that not everyone on this forum that talks about bitcoin mass adoption has an investment portfolio or even trades bitcoin. If your not in then why talk about it ?
How were you able to know that you are the only one who has knowledge about Bitcoin in your neighbourhood? Did you carry out some research to ascertain this fact? Many Bitcoiners prefer to maintain their privacy, so they might not publicise that they own or deal with Bitcoin. It is not everybody who knows about Bitcoin will invest in or hodl Bitcoin. Some people use Bitcoin for payment of goods and services. I am not sure that anyone who has an interest in Bitcoin will not take advantage of its benefits. Bitcoin has proved to be a profitable investment platform, hence all Bitcoiners would like to make a profit from it.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 14, 2024, 04:28:59 PM
Hello gamblers, this is a kind of survey aimed at getting to know my fellow gamblers better, particularly in the context of sports betting. I would like to know your average bet amount and your monthly income.
I don't have a constant amount I use for gambling because my income and expenses fluctuate every month. I usually gamble with 3% to 5% of my monthly income based on my monthly expenses. When I have so many bills or expenses for the month, it is usually safer for me to reduce the amount I spend on gambling. But when I have enough money to spend for the month, my gambling budget will naturally increase. However, for me to ensure that I gamble within my means, I don't gamble more than 5% of my monthly earnings.

Same as @Questat, I won't be giving away the exact amount but I'd give you the partial amount. The partial amount that I'm saying is around $220 and about $1 average per bet as I don't like to spend my bankroll as quickly as I like it to be, I want to enjoy watching the slots spin and give me those damn multipliers, I would say that I'm a bit aggressive with my way of betting because $1 is an average and that's already a large amount of money in my country's currency, could buy me a meal or something with that amount of bet.
I don't know how much you earn in a month but $220 is such a high sum in my local currency. In fact, more people in my country earn less than $50 monthly. However, I assume that it is within your income and you are enjoying your game. A dollar in my local currency can also provide a meal for two persons. Therefore losing it might be very painful for some gamblers.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 14, 2024, 03:28:18 PM
There's something wrong with Girona, they took five shots on goal in the whole match and only shot on target once, maybe this is an underestimation of the opponent, or Almeria decided to pull themselves together and try to do everything possible to stay in La Liga?
In the 80th minute, Garcia get a red card, and thus complicated the game for Girona, but Almeria did not take advantage of this either, the match ended 0:0. On the one hand, Girona received one point in this match, but on the other hand, they lost points in the match with an outsider and this is a very offensive loss of points, most likely Real will not forgive this.
This was a disappointing game for Girona because they expected to win and keep leading the La Liga table. This raw has allowed Real Madrid to top the Spanish league if they can win the game against Almeria. We saw a very weak attack from Girona while the underrated Almeria created some goal-scoring opportunities. I also appreciate the Almeria defence because of the ability to curtail Girona attackers. Coach Michel will be frustrated by this loss because it was generally perceived that Girona would have cheaply won the game against this bottom-placed team.

The game will take place in Riyadh and it seems to me that all games outside of Spain (except for the Champions League of course) have the atmosphere of friendly games, maybe for this reason the chances are close.
I wonder if Ronaldo will attend the game? As a former Real Madrid player and a very popular figure in Saudi Arabia, it will most likely be profitable for him in every sense to be there. And maybe he can talk to the players personally and convince them to move to him.
Like it or not Saudi Arabia is gradually becoming a football tourist centre. Most of the football bodies in Europe are finding the country very lucrative to host these important games. The country is spending money to sponsor these games and the European FA cannot resist the temptation of accepting these lucrative football deals. I know that most of the fans of these top clubs will be unhappy because many of them will not be able to afford the cost of going to Riyadh to watch these important games.
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you can benefit from investing in Bitcoin on: January 14, 2024, 05:30:24 AM
As a late investor in Bitcoin, I have come to realize some benefits from investing in this cryptocurrency which includes:
1: With just your smartphone you can carry out financial services.
I don't think people who recently invested in Bitcoin are late investors. Bitcoin is still in its infant stage and has the potential to keep growing. Therefore we should be pleased that we are aware of this cryptocurrency because many people will join later. Online banking exists, so it is not only Bitcoin that gives the privilege of using smartphones for financial transactions.

Quote
2: In bitcoin, you have full control of your financial assets. You have ownership to your private keys which is not always available in our normal banking.
An investor will have full control over his financial assets if he decides to keep it in a non-custodial wallet which gives the individual full control of the private keys. If one keeps his funds in centralised exchanges or custodian services, such person has lost full control of the fund.

Quote
3: As freelancer who works online, you can use bitcoin to facilitate some of your transactions.
4: As a business owner or an entrepreneur one can accept payment in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not only effective in online business transactions many offline businesses use it to pay for both national and international trade. This is because there are minimum amounts you can deposit or withdraw from your wallet. Most banks have the minimum amount customers can deal with over some time and this could impede business transactions.

Quote
5: When there is currency devaluation, one can use Bitcoin to protect their wealth even though there is risk of price volatility.
My country's currency lost 50% of its value just this year. This is why Bitcoin could be used as a potent hedge against inflation. Most Bitcoiners in developing nations use bit Bitcoin as an Investment and to protect themselves from the loss of value of the local currency.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 13, 2024, 08:13:15 PM
Chelsea really seemed to have difficulty maintaining the 1 goal lead they had obtained at the end of the first half from a penalty kick. It is indeed very sad to see Chelsea having to fight so hard to beat Fullham. Even without the opportunity for a penalty kick, this match would probably only end in a draw.
The good news about the game is that Chelsea secured three points that have moved them to eighth position. Yeah, the penalty was the only saving grace that the Blues had but we should also accept that they also created some great opportunities that would have extended the lead. I don't think that we should underrate any team in the premier league because all of them have what it takes to give a big team a fight. However, Chelsea should count themselves lucky to have a goalkeeper like Djordje Petrovic for several saves he made.

Quote
But still I am happy with the victory achieved by Chelsea in this match. Because no matter how good a squad a club has, they will only be considered good if they succeed in winning the match. If they have quality but don't win then it's a waste. So I appreciate Chelsea even though they had to fight harder but in the end they were able to win.
This win was a great relief to coach Mauricio Pochettino and the entire team. It brings some level of hope that Chelsea can at least make it to the top four position. Beautiful football is not necessarily, what clubs need is good results and that is exactly what Chelsea got today.

Quote
And I also hope that Chelsea can continue to get good results in the next matches. But in the EPL, it looks like Chelsea will have difficulties in the next match and might lose points. Because what they will face is Liverpool. And Liverpool are in the best condition this season. But in the match against Chelsea, it looks like Liverpool will still play without M. Salah. But still Liverpool without M. Salah is still better than Chelsea.
The Blues' performance has been inconsistent and you cannot predict their games. Chelsea's last game against Liverpool ended in a draw and I can assume that Chelsea has improved more than their first encounter. Liverpool is also in great form which could make the game difficult to predict. However, Liverpool remains the favorite to win the game.
611  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Justification for crime on: January 13, 2024, 07:40:53 PM
There is no legal standard or law that justify crime but I think crime can be justifiable in some cases. A criminal offense may be justified if it in some way benefits society or upholds some norms and principles that society may value. For instance, assault could be fully justifiable if it's on the ground of self defense. It is a fundamental value of society that everyone has a right and the obligation for self defence if they come under attack, and so this behavior is in many situations justified
We should note that our rights end where the rights of others begin, so we should also respect the fundamental rights of others. Self-defense is not a criminal offense, but the problem will be the ability of the person to convince law enforcement agencies or the law court that you acted in self-defense. Don't also be deceived many people have used the concept of self-defense to murder people, hence we should be able to distinguish between willful attack and defending oneself. The concept of self-defense is widely used in countries where firearms are legal but in my country, this concept is not popular because owning a gun is highly prohibited.

Let's say someone hacked the bank account of a corrupted politician or government official and donated the money to charity, would you see it as an act of good deed or a crime?

Depends on which side of the issue you approach it from. From a legal point of view, it is a crime, even if it was committed with good intentions. And if from a moral point of view, then such an act can be considered noble. But, unfortunately, the concept of "noble" is absent in the legislation.

Exactly, that is my point. Laws or legal systems don't care about the intention behind an act they have set of rules and if it's crossed then the person is guilty and if it's not then he can be free and justice comes with an expensive price tag in most of world, if you find a very good defense attorney then you can break almost any charges and be free with some penalty alone.
In most developing nations justice is for sale and the highest bidder will get a favorable judgment. In some cases even when a person acted in self-defense and it is even clear to all, but because the perceived guilty person has the financial backing to bribe the judges, he would be favored by the court. In such countries like mine, justice is only for the rich.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 13, 2024, 02:47:34 PM
So the question is, can you manage with $50 as your total monthly bankroll, or would you rather increase it and risk losing money that is not meant for such purposes?

If $50 is what I have budgeted for the month, I will be on the safer side if I stick to this budget. However, this amount will be too much for me to spend on gambling monthly because it is even far greater than the percentage I budget for gambling based on my income. Increasing the amount will affect the funds I will need to spend on other important expenses. We need to know that we can survive without gambling but there are so many things we cannot do without. This is why we shouldn't cut out a budget for these important needs for gambling. Accommodation, school fees, feeding, clothing, medical bills and others are vital needs that shouldn't be overlooked because of gambling. Gambling can wait but these needs cannot, so I will even prefer to cut expenses on gambling to satisfy them.

Do you believe that you will be more disciplined in sports betting if you have a dedicated bankroll?

According to the article I read, when you gamble without a proper bankroll, you are likely to make mistakes. One of the main errors is chasing losses because you are using money not intended for gambling, such as funds meant for paying bills and rent.

That's one of the reasons why I said that addiction in gambling is as result of chasing your loses, because no-one became addicted in gambling without reasons and that reason is best known to the person, so if check the statistics of people who is addicted today with gambling the one of the major reasons they are addicted is that they are chasing what they have spent so far in gambling, not knowing that the more you are chasing your loses the more you are accumulating your loses and also gives yourself a debts of high frequency, so I believe that's the one of the reasons why is not good to chased your lose either you stop to gamble at that moment
This is one of the main behaviours that lead to gambling addiction. Gamblers should know that gambling is not like a race where your effort will lead to a win. Your strength or determination might not lead to a win because the house will always have the advantage. The best option will always be to leave the casino after you have exhausted your gambling budget. Chai
613  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: January 13, 2024, 01:59:13 PM
One of the most important factor of a successful gambler is to know when to stop, most gamblers expecially the addictive type don't even know what is stop when it comes to gambling. So it's very important to;
* Stop when your losing is now getting to you.

* Stop when you are now feeling as is you can't do without gambling.

* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.

* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.
The simple solution to controlling gambling activity is to have a game plan with a budget. If you have a well-arranged plan you might not be concerned with how much you have lost or won, you will just follow the budget at a given time. Even when you lose consistently, it won't affect you adversely because you are gambling with what you can afford to lose. Having a plan will also help gamblers avoid gambling addiction because you will not over-gamble. It has been said again and again in the forum that gambling is not a source of income, therefore there is no need to be used to it.

Your advice regarding using our wins judiciously and not losing them to gambling is important. We should always know that the wins are not predictable, so we should maximize our wins and use them for something beneficial to us, family and community.

Quote
* When your losing is weighing you down, stop and restrategize .
There is always a need to evaluate every area of our lives, not just gambling. Once in a while gamblers should collect data, analyze and evaluate their gambling activities over a while to check if they are making progress or not. However, this might not be compulsory when you have a gambling plan, bet what you can afford to lose and see gambling as entertainment.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons for personal financial accountability? on: January 13, 2024, 12:57:12 PM
As day and night keep occuring, hustling to meet our needs is not negotiable as long as we still have an interest in living. Whether working hard or working smart, the primary and secondary goal is to have something that can aid our survival at the end of the day. No one is interested in how you made your money, just get your basic needs and live your life.
Many people might not be concerned about how you made your money but I am very interested. Society might have become materialistic but there are also people that uphold integrity and decency. But like OP said, all these hustlings are geared towards survival, however, we will not uphold criminal activities because we want to survive.

Quote
Thanks for reading through, and what are your opinions regarding personal financial accountability?.
Your position OP is very valid because we need financial accountability to survive in this present economic condition. Our ability to focus only on our major needs based on our income is important to survive the financial pressure. Some persons are indebted because they are not truthful to themselves. They prefer to live fake lives so that they can please people. They go to the extent of taking loans to buy new cars or live in big houses because they want to show off. Such a kind of life will only lead to depression and disgrace because many of them might not have the means of paying back these loans.

Being creative and innovative is important because it could help us to cut costs and even create alternative sources of income. Innovation can make you creatively substitute a very expensive product for an affordable one. It could also assist one in diversifying his skills to other areas that is lucrative and high-paying.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 12, 2024, 05:45:52 PM
According to the https://www.goal.com/en/news/live/transfer-news-and-rumours-live/blt1ccfda38eda06d5a.

It was saying that if real madrid has been putting osimhen as altenative transfer once the club will be failed to get mbappe. I have seen this news many times but it's always become the hottest topic to be debatable. I don't even think this is gonna be a good idea since osimhen's performance has been declining alot. In fact, real madrid can also attract various strikers to come and join in the club. Im not thinking osimhen would be the right choice for mbappe's alternative. He can become another flop like hazard for sure.
The claim that Victor Osimhen's performance has depreciated is debatable because the entire Napoli team is going through a lot of problems. If you observe closely you might observe that many key players such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have not been playing good football. So it might be safe to state that the performance of the players is because it the managerial problem the club is having. Osimhen will be the perfect choice for Real Madrid if they fail to sign Mbappé. He is a natural goal like Karim Benzema and will keep scoring because if the quality players that Madrid has in it's stock. Hazard was indeed a quality player that lost his form in Madrid but Osimhen is younger and hardworking than the Belgian striker. But I can vouch that if Osimhen is injury free, he would do well in Madrid.

Ancellotti needs to think again about this. I think that osimhen is alway way expensive for a striker like him whch was only winning scudetto. Real madrid can get better striker other than him which is still having a lot of potential for sure.
The club can try to look at some choices available in the market. The big team like real madrid can attack various strikers to join in the club. It will make madrid to perform better rather than sign osimhen.

As much as I can recall, Osimhen is one of the best strikers any coach can get in the transfer market currently. He is the current African best player and is highly dreaded in Europe. €120m (£116m) is not too much from a striker in his class an he would be easily controlled by the couch and backroom staff than Mbappé.

The society is a very busy place. A place where you can find all kind of answers to life there are to learn from the society it depends on the part you choose to trade on.
We have different religions. Christianity, Islamic, and traditional out of these three religions it's your choice to choose the one you want but today what we do today is to criticize another person's choice no one is the best let everyone choose theirs nobody has made your choice for you if you are happy remain there but if it does not you are free to try another way as this life is not a perfect one we will all make mistake and learn from it,the wise ones rise from their mistakes.
There are hundreds of religions in the world, maybe the three you mentioned are the major ones in your country. Religious fanatics always assume that their religion is superior to other religions which makes them see others as inferior. For me, I think any religion that promotes love and peaceful coexistence is worth emulating. I am not too concerned about the religion of anybody but the person's behaviour. Some people are devotees of some religion but they don't treat people well. Many of the corrupt politicians in my country are religious but they end up becoming promoters of inequality and suffering.

Quote
We also have the peer group an example is the cultism. Older people see those in this group as arrogant, violence, naughty, notorious and many more names to describe them. They are mostly the young people called the youths they are the people you can mostly see in this group many people disgust this group while some people to them it's an interesting game
But like I said earlier the part you choose determines where you go so let everyone choose theirs.

Another
Secret societies or cult groups are formed to promote a particular agenda and not to cause violence. But when most of these youths that are members of these groups use their membership of these groups to cause violence and havoc to society, they will be rejected by society. Nobody will encourage the young generation to be part of a group that is a menace to society. In my country, the activities of these societies are banned because of their violent and criminal past.

In my case, I have not actually experienced any situation like that, apart from the usual disappointment you will experience with a club after you place a bet on them, believing so firmly that nothing will stop that club from winning, but they end up losing.
Some people in my location will say that his phone was under a spell Smiley. I have had such experience but not in gambling activities especially when my phone is having screen issues. In that situation, I will have to tap the screen several times before it will respond or react to the click. I don't know what was the cause of his own misfortune, maybe it was from his phone or from the bet site. If it was from his phone and he is aware of the fault, he shouldn't have placed a bet with a faulty phone because it can easily result in things like this. If he observed that it was a technical fault from the betting site, he should complain to the support team of the online bet firm.

As he was clicking on the site and it was not responding I became very anxious and was putting myself in his shoes. The guy will be very saddened because he was on the verge of winning big but lost it because of a mysterious circumference. I have nothing special to say to him than to join the queue of sympathy to say sorry for his loss.

Hey Crypto Crew,

So, I've been pondering the whole "Should Your Business Accept Bitcoin?" conundrum. 🤔 Some say it's the future, while others think it's just a fad. What's your take on this crypto rollercoaster? Share your thoughts on whether diving into the Bitcoin sea is a savvy move or a shipwreck waiting to happen. Personally, I'm torn between embracing the digital gold rush and sticking to the good ol' cash.
You don't have to rush into what you don't have information about. Bitcoin can be used for different purposes which include as a form of payment or Investment. Using it as a form of payment will depend on some factors which include
1. The type of business you are operating: It is easy to receive Bitcoin payment for services that are related to cryptocurrencies.
2. Customer request: Bitcoin payment will be effective if you have a large number of customers who are requesting that you include it as an alternative means of payment.
3. Government policy: If your country is friendly with Bitcoin there will always be favourable policies that promote its awareness and adoption. On the contrary, an unfriendly government might make this idea dormant.

Currently, many people are rushing to buy Bitcoin because they want to make a profit from it. It is important to know that it is a long-term investment that needs patience and bravery. If you don't have these two quantities, you might end up entering the trap called FUD. It is also important to note that just like every other Investment, putting money into Bitcoin is risky. However, the risk of worth taking if you understand the market.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETFs approved, Bitcoin is not fraud. Where is Jamie Dimon? on: January 12, 2024, 12:53:59 PM
Before now I used to read comments from people who have no knowledge about Bitcoin yet come up periodically with clueless predictions about the Bitcoin market. Jamie Dimon is an agent of FUD and anybody who believes these fake predictions will regret their actions later. It is a free world, however, where people are free to express their views about anything. So Jamie Dimon is free to say what he thinks about Bitcoin, but his views turned out to be wrong.

Personally, I expected a larger hype due to the ETF approval, which I find a little odd. Although it's still a positive event, if we suppose that it hadn't been approved, Bitcoin would still survive and would continue to progress.
I am also surprised that the price has not gone high after the approval. Could it be that the series of false approvals affected the confidence of potential investors? Nevertheless, these ETF firms just started trading today, hopefully, more money will be attracted to the market. But the price has remained stable which is a pointer that the market might be heading towards less volatility.
