We are not even in bull market. If you look long term trend we are still in bear market and that could be a bull trap. We don't know yet. We will see in 3-6 months. You can observe but can't be sure about the time you live in. |

Honestly I would prefer token/altcoin payment. I remember Qtum bounty back then, they paid in Bitcoin. After that you know the rest, Qtum price skyrocketed. If people didn't buy Qtum with their Bitcoin they missed the big opportunity.

It's a very realistic target. Bitcoin was 20k last year, it can recover this year. I'm not too optimistic but when we are in bull run again Bitcoin will definitely be more than 20k. I don't know if it's this July or next July, but it will be for sure.

OP is right, I see too many new people that come here without any knowledge but have money in their pocket. They want to put all of their live savings into crypto currencies. As an early adopter I should say you are a little late to the party, you can still win some but don't expect huge returns in such short time. Don't invest if you need that money later. Risk only money that belong to you and you don't need. Don't take credit from banks to invest crypto currencies. That might be your worst decision.

I like the idea of selecting 5 from the top 25 but which 5 and why? If you select from Top 25 that means you buy coins that has already make their big move and raise their marketcap value. You can't get rich with small investment such as OP's 500 bucks with those coins. OP need to pick coins from marketcap value less than 100 million USD and potential to have over billions of USD marketcap level. |

Many many people say they are holding this, holding that for the "long term" but please tell me what exactly is your guys definition of "long term"? For me, 1 year is considered long time. I began investing this January and I will hold one year and cash out everything January 2019. So by your definition, is this more short term or long term? Is 1 year enough time to see gains?  1 year is long term for crypto market. So many things can be changed in 1 year. Ethereum went from 10 USD to 1500 USD in 1 year. Exactly one year hold is not a good idea though. We don't know what will happen in January 2019. Maybe we see ATH prices in December or February. Don't limit yourself. |

Which coins are you talking about? I used Cryptopia for various coins and I had no problem overall.
