I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time. For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online. It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it. I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won. For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over. I do not know why I do it, why do you?

Of course 5 of them could run out with the money but its much harder to be done than a single person like master-o for example.

The death penalty is not a complicated issue for one very simple reason. Can you be sure the person accused is really guilty? With a 100% certainty? The answer is no. Even DNA is wrong from time to time. You can never be totally sure.
But death penalty needs a 100% precision because they're is no going back.
So no, death penalty is a stupid barbaric act.

If they all buy btc that means they expect money from it. So they're going to sell what they bought at a moment or another. So the price is going to crash.

I will never trust any one with my private keys, even not with multisig. My coins will remain unused in their wallets for ever if something happens with me. That's how I think about it right now. It might change when I become a father, then I will try to find a way to make sure at some point in the future my kids can access the coins.
I don't want to intrude in private matters but it should change the day you become a husband. So before you become a father. Important to think about what you'll let to your partner if anything shall happen to you. |

and even then, you can never be sure that those 8 people aren't just one guy with 8 alts  Well you could ask for ID proofs if the council is stable. But then how do you select the 8 members? What happens if they leave? Don't they have a lot of power? What if they refuse to escrow some transactions/people? I don't like the idea of the council of the wises :p |

i would have done the same qustion when it was dumping, since 230 was never the true value of bitcoin
to answer your question, i can simply say, bitcoin is worth much more, 230 were like free bitcoin, you will remember this in 5-10 years when even 10k would be considered a cheap price

As of jan 1st 2016 it became legal for the banks to raid private accounts in euro countries. Forget china, the entire western world is about to collapse.
Any links for this? I recall them working on it but have not seen anything since then. Didn't happen, will not happen. Much more complicated than this. Government can take money from your account to repay bank debts, but only accounts with more than 100k€ So not a lot of people! |

master-p probably just took the opportunity more than anything else and decided to start amassing funds for an exit scam a few weeks ago. if he was really in need of money he wouldnt be out buying luxury items like cs:go keys or SSD drives. and he wouldnt be playing a lot of games while pretending to be away on vacation or something. after the list that theymos posted, there is little to no doubt, for me at least, that this was an opportunistic exit scam.
True, but that's a bit stupid of him... Though I have to say I wouldn't have thought it would be so fast! I mean in not even one week the whole forum gathered to find him. Seems like the scammed people can have his name, address and all the informatic informations they need to find him IRL xD But that's nice. There's nothing illegal about taking a look around. I did it once. It wasn't very exciting and Tor is a pain in the ass. If I need something illegal I'll buy it from a guy who knows a guy in meatspace. Illegal is never good. I never will visit such a dark market/site simply because those people are not in my league. After all, there is a reason why it's illegal... Yeah, it's illegal because a bunch of very precise people decided it was so... If your government decided that kissing in public was illegal because it could shock people, would you follow it? Incredible how people tend to forget the law is produced by just a few hundreds of people, who can be influenced, biased, corrupted or simply wrong. The law isn't always good. And when it's not it's the duty of citizens to fight it. You are so right when you say this. Yes some things which the governement finds illegal are far from illegal. Nonetheless the general sentiment on those market places is real illegal things. Which should be forbidden. Agreed. Most of them are sites promoting prostitution, weaponds/drugs sales... Thats where you're wrong, the dev is accepting 1000 bnt in return for a 0.2 btc loan so bnt has value outside of the exchange which is something no other coin has if bantams price is 100 sat, and you can use 1000 bnt to get a 0.2 btc loan, then you use that 0.2 btc to buy 200,000 bnt. Then when bnt goes back up to 1000 sats, you sell and make 2 BTC, a 1,000% profit. You pay back the 0.2 btc with interest to the dev, meaning you have made 1.8 BTC nifty little idea here That's where you're being incredibly naïve. All that is not an outside value, it's totally dependant upon the fact that the dev accepts to give the loan. And if he doesn't? Well the moment dev stops giving loan, the coin is worth shit. Literally. I can't really call that nifty... Maybe stupidly complicated but not much more... |

The "max payout at 30 btc" means that, for each bet, your bet + the bet profit cannot be bigger than 30 btc. There is no upper limit on your withdrawal size. And you can't be serious saying that Primedice bankroll will be emptied with a 30 btc withdrawal, can you? Sorry, I misunderstood the update. As I said I never really tried to withdraw OR bet such amount xD 30 btc is 13k$... I can't even imagine betting such an amount!
