601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: January 07, 2016, 03:27:57 PM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

I understand rather well what you mean...

I'd say it's mainly because of the illusion that if you lost that means you should have more chance to win this time, which is faulse of course  Grin
602  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Idea: Escrow council on: January 07, 2016, 03:26:41 PM
Of course 5 of them could run out with the money but its much harder to be done than a single person like master-o for example.

I like the idea and if it get released, I will you it for sure for my transactions.

Well I don't think so, just because they'll probably mange 8 times more money so it'll be 8 times more tempting to run!
603  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you support or oppose the death penalty? on: January 07, 2016, 12:58:01 PM
The death penalty is not a complicated issue for one very simple reason. Can you be sure the person accused is really guilty? With a 100% certainty? The answer is no. Even DNA is wrong from time to time. You can never be totally sure.

But death penalty needs a 100% precision because they're is no going back.
So no, death penalty is a stupid barbaric act.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recent price rise on: January 07, 2016, 12:37:09 PM
I don't see why they would invest in btc. Btc isn't creating value, you don't "invest in btc".
If they all buy btc that means they expect money from it. So they're going to sell what they bought at a moment or another. So the price is going to crash.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin After Death - The Will... on: January 07, 2016, 11:19:50 AM
I will never trust any one with my private keys, even not with multisig. My coins will remain unused in their wallets for ever if something happens with me. That's how I think about it right now. It might change when I become a father, then I will try to find a way to make sure at some point in the future my kids can access the coins.

I don't want to intrude in private matters but it should change the day you become a husband. So before you become a father. Important to think about what you'll let to your partner if anything shall happen to you.
606  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Idea: Escrow council on: January 07, 2016, 10:46:22 AM
and even then, you can never be sure that those 8 people aren't just one guy with 8 alts Wink

Well you could ask for ID proofs if the council is stable. But then how do you select the 8 members? What happens if they leave? Don't they have a lot of power? What if they refuse to escrow some transactions/people?

I don't like the idea of the council of the wises :p
607  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: January 07, 2016, 10:39:07 AM
i would have done the same qustion when it was dumping, since 230 was never the true value of bitcoin

to answer your question, i can simply say, bitcoin is worth much more, 230 were like free bitcoin, you will remember this in 5-10 years when even 10k would be considered a cheap price

So many people saying that...
It's good to have faith but still, keep calm buddy. 10k for one btc is maybe a bit fucking crazy no?
I don't believe in long term btc for my on.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why next pump might be completely different on: January 07, 2016, 10:37:02 AM
As of jan 1st 2016 it became legal for the banks to raid private accounts in euro countries. Forget china, the entire western world is about to collapse.

Any links for this? I recall them working on it but have not seen anything since then.

Didn't happen, will not happen. Much more complicated than this. Government can take money from your account to repay bank debts, but only accounts with more than 100k€

So not a lot of people!

And you can do here that you are so worried? are you typical vagrant of all threads beeping "scam"?

Meh, sorry I didn't understand you, maybe because of my English, maybe because of yours :3

And to answer it's just that I hate seeing such obvious shitty coin going up while legitimate projects have problems to launch...
610  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: NEW Double Bitcoin in 24 hours 100% GUARANTEE !! on: January 06, 2016, 03:56:19 PM
Meh, scammers lack of imagination.

You know your scam wouldn't have worked even 10 years before? So now that everyone is a bit more careful you have the absolute zero chance of managing to scam people...
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bantam [BNT] The world's first Crypto Collateral System | BTC Loans on: January 06, 2016, 03:54:58 PM
OMG how is it possible? Oo

I don't understand, are you all alts of the op or just plain stupid?
How can this coin not be already destroyed?Huh
612  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 06, 2016, 03:54:12 PM
master-p probably just took the opportunity more than anything else and decided to start amassing funds for an exit scam a few weeks ago. if he was really in need of money he wouldnt be out buying luxury items like cs:go keys or SSD drives. and he wouldnt be playing a lot of games while pretending to be away on vacation or something. after the list that theymos posted, there is little to no doubt, for me at least, that this was an opportunistic exit scam.

True, but that's a bit stupid of him...
Though I have to say I wouldn't have thought it would be so fast! I mean in not even one week the whole forum gathered to find him. Seems like the scammed people can have his name, address and all the informatic informations they need to find him IRL xD

But that's nice. Especially because Theymos didn't just let the data, but said he would give it to the police. It means it doesn't transform into some popular justice do it yourself. Which is cool <3

Just joined this campaign a few days before. Daily payout and good amounts, thanks again for letting me work with you Smiley
614  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: January 06, 2016, 08:20:17 AM

Yeah it is beyond me why you even want to be there. I am sure they have  'interesting' products, but for me staying out of jail is way more important.
No dark marketplaces for me.

There's nothing illegal about taking a look around. I did it once. It wasn't very exciting and Tor is a pain in the ass. If I need something illegal I'll buy it from a guy who knows a guy in meatspace.

Illegal is never good. I never will visit such a dark market/site simply because those people are not in my league.
After all, there is a reason why it's illegal...

Yeah, it's illegal because a bunch of very precise people decided it was so...

If your government decided that kissing in public was illegal because it could shock people, would you follow it?
Incredible how people tend to forget the law is produced by just a few hundreds of people, who can be influenced, biased, corrupted or simply wrong.

The law isn't always good. And when it's not it's the duty of citizens to fight it.

You are so right when you say this.
Yes some things which the governement finds illegal are far from illegal.
Nonetheless the general sentiment on those market places is real illegal things. Which should be forbidden.

Agreed. Most of them are sites promoting prostitution, weaponds/drugs sales...

But it's important to remember illegal is mostly a matter of perspective  Cheesy
615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 05, 2016, 02:37:28 PM

616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bantam [BNT] The world's first Crypto Collateral System | BTC Loans on: January 05, 2016, 02:36:42 PM
yes,...  All dev definitely say long-term project but in fact he would break a promise
Prices will continue to fall to 100 sat ... and this coin will not be valuable for investors, ..

Thats where you're wrong, the dev is accepting 1000 bnt in return for a 0.2 btc loan so bnt has value outside of the exchange which is something no other coin has Wink

if bantams price is 100 sat, and you can use 1000 bnt to get a 0.2 btc loan, then you use that 0.2 btc to buy 200,000 bnt. Then when bnt goes back up to 1000 sats, you sell and make 2 BTC, a 1,000% profit. You pay back the 0.2 btc with interest to the dev, meaning you have made 1.8 BTC

nifty little idea here

That's where you're being incredibly naïve. All that is not an outside value, it's totally dependant upon the fact that the dev accepts to give the loan. And if he doesn't?

Well the moment dev stops giving loan, the coin is worth shit. Literally.

I can't really call that nifty... Maybe stupidly complicated but not much more...
617  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 will not survive the weekend on: January 05, 2016, 01:29:07 PM
The price is barely floating above $400. But for how long? The latest analysis suggests the breakdown to be happening soon.

Monday 4th January - Current price - 434 USD

Just popping in to say -

Damned! I wanted to say exactly the same thing  Grin

I love those prediction that can so easily proven wrong xD
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: January 05, 2016, 01:27:04 PM
This whole thread is totally stupid.

GAMBLING

Which also means betting against the bank... You know the thing that has 51% chance to win while you have only 49%?

You can't win on the long term at gambling. You can at poker where skills matter, but you just can't in a betting game. They were created in a way that you can't win...
619  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: January 05, 2016, 01:22:34 PM
Max payout at 30 btc?

Damned maybe it's not you case but it's just not possible to reach such a limit for me xD
one time withdraw 30 BTC which is a lot! I doubt primed ice would let him withdraw that money otherwise their bankroll will be empty soon!

The "max payout at 30 btc" means that, for each bet, your bet + the bet profit cannot be bigger than 30 btc. There is no upper limit on your withdrawal size. And you can't be serious saying that Primedice bankroll will be emptied with a 30 btc withdrawal, can you?

Sorry, I misunderstood the update.

As I said I never really tried to withdraw OR bet such amount xD
30 btc is 13k$... I can't even imagine betting such an amount!

But I never thought 30btc would ruin their bankroll, I don't even imagine how much they probably earn every day ^^
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 05, 2016, 01:20:17 PM
We need to all vote for Bernie Sanders to make this happen to the price of Bitcoin:

As a non American not following American election cause I don't really give a fuck about your country (no offense though, you can't care about everything) I don't really understand your point. Could you explain?
