Well, if gambling can't be profitable in the long run, then all them millionaire professional poker players we keep watching win that big stack of money on the final table of the World Series of Poker's Main Event must be faking it very well because they have me convinced! I mean players like Daniel Negreanu (~50M USD), Phil Hellmuth(~20M USD), and Phil Ivey (~100M USD) made their millions gambling. That's long term profit!
very few gamblers can have that level of achievement and are able to live with it! I could say most of gamblers are losing money! As long as they can control themselves and stop doing it, there is no problem at all! At least they gain a lot of fun from it! |

Which also means betting against the bank... You know the thing that has 51% chance to win while you have only 49%?
You can't win on the long term at gambling. You can at poker where skills matter, but you just can't in a betting game. They were created in a way that you can't win...

May be you can use any of your experience to win poker game but without any luck you can't win anything from gambling no matter how much experience do you have you will keep on busted |

I dont think so. You always lose more money than you win money. So you lose more money and that is now so good. You can play wit a little amount and than you can make more money if you are very lucky. |

Only experience in gambling will not help to win money in the long run but surely it will help to predict accurate results in sports betting, if your expert in any sports. But along with these experience we also need luck to win money in gambling so we can't win every day or in the long run but once in awhile should be fine. |

I dont think so. You always lose more money than you win money. So you lose more money and that is now so good. You can play wit a little amount and than you can make more money if you are very lucky. In terms in a long run gambling if it is year long gambling you can profit from it and maybe you would become an experience gambler because of it. But if you mean a long term day only it will be very imposible, house edge will possibly rule over you in gambling. |

I don't get it? If you had infinite amount of money which nobody has why would you waste time with a losing strategy it makes no sense. The above has got it about right on a dice game but not a real casinio with varied games and varied edges, Exp- a American Roulette table with give the house about a 5% edge and a European table 2.5% slots have a much bigger edge. The gist is the same in the end the house always wins just look at Vegas, that was not built from a losing house edge  There is obviously winners what we call pro gamblers but there are very few of them and for average joe it will never be profitable in the long run. |

Yes, but that's not exactly gambling. Hacking is more like stealing to me so I don't think this answers the OP's question (maybe you are joking though  ). I like the fact that most answers in this thread are like "No, it can't be." And I agree with that. Gambling is either a funny game or a disease. In both cases it can't be profitable in long term. |

Gambling can be really profitable but it mostly not this is because of the people that are betting with to high numbers.
I think if you just bet with low numbers and lose and win sometimes its possible but you always have to keep in mind that you need real luck to win.

In gambling to make money over the time we need a pure luck not the experience. But as per me, I don't think any one will get luck every day to win money in gambling over the time so it is good to gamble only some times to check your luck instead every day gambling. |
