601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can decentralization be applied to protest movements ? on: February 23, 2020, 09:28:47 AM
Cryptocurrency are a synonym to economic freedom. Decentralizations would enable the unrestricted flow of ideas and information.
Protest like this is a clear evident of people who still dont understand the word decentralization and they just inflict whatever idea they can fanned out to media.

It's weird that there are no news about protests in Algeria in my country.I live in the EU.
25 million people on the streets?I think it's a little bit exaggerated. If there were 25 million people on the streets on Algeria, this news will be on CNN and every mainstream media on the planet.
Exactly the author just exaggerating the news and even connecting bitcoin to the said protest. Even so, why it didnt come out on social media if this is a real deal. Right?
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S20 Smart Phone will Support Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON on: February 23, 2020, 07:50:43 AM
Who is stupit enough to use built in wallet.

As long as the built in wallet supports importing of old wallets like imtoken I dont see much problem. Anyway, Samsung has jusr started and maybe they can improve more. I dont see the advantage of this wallet sincr the phone is quite expensive and people will likely turn into those cheaper wallet for crypto also those free one.

The only thing I like is that Samsung a giant tech expanding their horizon as well to blockchain. This is just a start, dont bash the product which is by far one of thr most sophisticated phone.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe Coingecko's Exchange Liquidity rank? on: February 23, 2020, 12:49:17 AM
Only those who will be affected by this are the traders that has needed some valuable stats for trading. Indeed coingecko is much better in termd of accuracy than coinmarketcap but the range of cmc in terms of coins is much appreciated and mostly uses it.

However, it's still hard for any such website to get reliable statistics. Very few exchanges give out data in a way that each trade could be calculated back to the full volume.
This is why some data in these platforms are not accurate most data have not been given by exchanges. Im thinking why their not telling the whole reports? Soemthing fishy right? Of course its just means they are doing some monkey business.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind ALTCOINS not bouncing Back on: February 23, 2020, 12:33:44 AM
the biggest problem is the honesty of the projects. all projects, all new and existing, are not honest with investors and they do everything possible only for their own benefit. if we will manage to do so that people will begin to understand when they are being deceived - then the altcoin market will begin to behave differently

Actually that isnt the case here. If you are careful enough you can be on their sides. Honesty isnt always preserved amongst these projects. Ive been in here for a long time and notice how this business is crash by those silly scammers.

Market is affected by a lot of factors, saw most of the investors prefer existing projects.

You dont hold the investors and they all have the rights to dump anytime they want to. And if they see the altcoin they hold make profit, why not sell it immediately? that is the purpos why they bought it and trade it.
I agree no one can hold grudge about who want to sell their tokens especially on bounty hunters side since they worked for it. No arguement here thats the reality.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin for Every Currency on: February 22, 2020, 10:18:48 AM
What do you think? Will tether do that ever in the future once crypto goes more mainstream? Or govt themselves will create their own currency at the end?

I dont think even tether wants that to happen. I doubt that this will be supported my many crypto enthusiasts. Tether is one of the crypto that hasnt much reliable when in terms of trust. We all know that it is a solution for continuously inflation and volatility that is happening in the crypto space right.

The realization is still too far for stable coins in each country, because not everyone in the government wants decentralization, so something transparent. People from banking and influential people in government who are cons to the crypto industry are also very opposed to this, surely they will do anything to keep the business going.

Agree with this. Maybe not feasible at all and not just too far IMO. Tether is useful but not in the league where they will be the sole stablecoin around the world.
606  Economy / Speculation / Re: Interesting fact: When Bitcoin reaches $100 000... on: February 22, 2020, 09:53:12 AM
Here's another interesting fact for you. USD is inflating and BTC is deflating. 100 years ago people were earning $5 a day, now they're earning $50 and they can't even buy same quality products their grandparents were paying $5 for.

Its safe to say that you are right however youre mistaken by the facts that inflation will continue to rise in the future. BTC deflating? Why? The example is pretty bias and turn into USD. I think most will not agree with this.

Reaching that amount for btc could change a lot in the econimic growth of different country and as well as yours.

I have a feeling bitcoin will get to $100k, but it might be a while.  Still, it's "only" a 10x gain from where it's at now, and I've seen that sort of growth since I've been into crypto.
Last 2017 right more or less? Btc price is expounding in terms of value but the sad fact about its volatility makes investor bleed out when bear season arrives also for those fomo guys who are buying when halving and hype of btc reaching ATH is near.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Extremely low bounty rewards on: February 22, 2020, 08:26:51 AM
You are wrong. You have to calculate the current price and value of a coin, not what value can it achieve later. I would not join any of the bounty campaign which have low rewards in poportion with the participants. I think low rewards bounty pool are waste of time.

The pricr isnt that low for a normal altcoin bounty I think. It's just luck for those who joined since it did pump and increase its value. I agree that base on current value thats the one we should rely on but altcoin campaign with tokens listed already is kinda rare to see.

Low reward bounty pool is waste of time? How about those btc paid campaign with very low payment with lots of post needed and require? Can you also say some high ranks wasting time?
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 22, 2020, 07:56:54 AM
Recently there have been a craze and buy rush for any coin new listed on Binance but usually turns to a nightmare for those who FOMO too early. $MBL which was listed today because they won vote for community coin dumped from 59 sats to 30 sats within some minutes.

Even if you must do, use tight SL and moreover there is no point chasing a moving train.

Ive seen how the coin pump during the time it was still on voting session. I know that most coins during coin vote session pumps hard. From 20 sat to 50 sat the price of this MBL and when it got listed it go down to 30 sats. Anyway I like your advise but market is really crashing like hell especially if the whales are keep interrupting and manipulating the price at will.

Not only in Binance, but in most exchange this happens. When a coin listed, it goes up too quickly, probably the team members pump it artificially, and then the FOMO hunter gets all it dumped.
Hunters? This isnt about bounty. The project was nominated in Binance community voting and win. The timing of dumping as stated could be worse to those who FOMO and bought at maybe 50 sats. Dont just butt in if the topic youre talking is out of discussion.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It doesn't look like on: February 21, 2020, 11:50:28 PM
Im just worried what will happen once halving is over and the Almighty Halving Hype died off, there is nothing making the price surge presently than this upcoming halving, what do you think?

I think thats an absurd opinion. The price will definitely go beyond what is destined or demand from the people. Halving happpens everytime and expected to occur so even after halving there is no point to hang on a silly hype event such as that. If btc will climb up it will, no need to be force by this halving activity though.

Also I think the price is looking well and stable with 9k to 10k that's not bad considering were just started this year.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 prediction! on: February 21, 2020, 07:46:15 AM
now we are currently being corrected or stopped shortly after yesterday the market is red again but now it has also recovered but bitcoin cannot touch $ 10k yet.
This is inevitable plus the correction might probably due to the down of Binance Exchange last night. Volume has been decreased as one of the top exchange creating liquidity and volume is down, of course it will really affect on the downfall. 10k will be reach again soon, as gaps has been filled on 9.7k level already. Waiting for some new waves.

So it's kinda expected to see another all-time-high after the block halving, not before the upcoming block halving.

Hope your prediction would be true. Yet as breaking the all time high of 20k is a tough one IMO. Also I dont recall that the pump was due to the halving too but someone pump it and make the bitcoin bubble effect on the whole market.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US SEC: Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs) – Investor Alert on: February 21, 2020, 06:57:50 AM
I don't know, but it's going to be very difficult of US citizens to invest in any of them. And I don't know how US citizens in this community is investing or if they completely stop at all.

I dont think they will be stopped on investing with these IEOs. My friends staying there saying they are still active investing there and I asked them how come? You are restricted there, they say its just simple to bypass that SEC shits plus they arent being pursuit or what. So for them its just normal.

So meaning all those restriction we always read was just on news but not in actual action by SEC on their own turf?

Can I ask US citizens here can I know the stand or the situation? Is it really just like that?

IMO, US sec should stop this non sense restriction as if their residence do want what they are doing. Most of traders and investors are coming from their land. Hypocrite if you would say.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin you love to see die soon and why? on: February 21, 2020, 06:48:44 AM
For me, I like to see coins to die are those below top 100. This market becoming saturated with unknown projects that keep spawning. Imagine if this continously years from now? Investors will not always invest with whats new and of course they will think of holding blue chips crypto than betting on these new projects. Unless the project is IEO where ROI can be felt but will dump soon after getting profits.

Who would agree with me? I think its time to dispose a lot of projects and retain only the good ones.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: February 21, 2020, 04:43:28 AM
Yes, sometimes it is really worth just waiting out an unfavorable situation in the market. The most important thing is to

Nothing we can do even we panic actually. Best case is to stand by and just wait. I dont think many newbies are well taught of that attitude when it comes to trading.

it's good to choose the right altcoin that is always consistent in the crypto market and never invest blindly with the profits made by the project.

If that's the choice then, go for major or top coins such as eth and xrp their movement is really not that so volatile unlike other new coins and tokens that can easily down by how many percent even just for an overnight.

if you have been investing for the last 4 years you know for sure that 's how the market moves it will go up it will go down, but so far moving forward on all those years that the market suffer a downfall.

Not so long but at least I wactched and observed the market movement and now Im just chilling waiting for the right time to sell my asset that been holding for quite a while.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: February 21, 2020, 03:30:16 AM
I guess they are not satisfied with other people's threads and it is better to ask for themselves. Yeah, but I'll try to suggest it.

That's the problem here. People dont read or observed what is prohibited or not. Yes this inquiry has been so many times asked here but people still creating new threads. For what sake, I dont know why spamming for others are so easy to tolerate. People dont mind that some topics are becoming redundant. Yes sometimes they dont know, if got ask or not but this common one has been here on this section everyday with new poster and new format but still same question. Which coin to invest. Tsk.

OP locked the thread. Not satisfied with 3pages of same answers already?
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Resist all temptation to fomo on: February 21, 2020, 03:09:38 AM
ALL THE TIME, you are not matured and intelligent enough if you can't resit the FOMO, usually the newbies will get FOMOd but people who have learn from their experience, we should not do the same mistake again.

Correct. Ive been a fomo guy before, and experienced is really the best teacher. Buying some tokens or coins just because of hype is very risky. I'm not saying fomoing isnt good or dont have basis to excel but the factor you must be in should be perfect and I'm talking about timing. Just like trading, when you fomo, set a goal until where its gonna pump.

Dont be greedy if you dont want to fall down in the end. Observed and be thankful on profits gaining more have more risk and this is dangerous if youre not into it. Piece of advise, to all just learn the process.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Places To Hold Initial Coin Offerings on: February 21, 2020, 02:24:46 AM
What are some of the best places you can think to hold ICOs, that provide both the investor and the project manager security from fraud, scams so on and so forth?

Join IEO on the mentioned exchanges.

Binance
Gate.IO
Kucoin
Houbi
Okex
Bittrex

Nothing follows..

Others have also in some mid range exchange but dont trust them as most of them have been swayed just ti conduct an IEO project. In short only pure business.

Usually these places are the best one and very securing to hold a crowd funding. This IEO which is not so different from ICO is now trusted more than typical ICO. I suggest you avoid those ICO platform now cause most of them are just scam.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa approves Coinbase as Principal Member - big step for mass adoption? on: February 21, 2020, 02:06:09 AM
We have to get services to accept bitcoin directly. I mean, if we're willing to give our identity away (KYC) and pay high fees (comparing debit cards to crypto), then why use bitcoin in the first place? Personally, I don't see this helping bitcoin in any way.
Maybe for now, we dont have MANY establishment that accept bitcoin directly. Visa does ask KYC, this huge partnership proves that bitcoin will forward to becoming centralized.

I see the value of this as advertisement for bitcoin cause we all knew how huge VISA company around the globe.

This does nothing good to crypto and violates the initial principles of Bitcoin. The only good we can extract from this - crypto related company is recognized by one of the supreme corporations, people will definately hear the word "cryptocurrency" more often
Fundamental news has been all over us. How come there is nothing good to crypto this partnership will do? Yeah violates the bitcoin principle as decentralized but moving into mass adoption could be easier since one of the useful payment system is on their side already.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 20, 2020, 01:31:38 PM
Although I don't like XRP at all, I have to agree that XRP is getring much popularity worldwide.

The ripple environment created purposely for finance and banking system. It is not shocking to know that many has been paetnered with them. Even the fee of xrp is very small if you compared with other crypto so be practical to love it. I am no xrp fan but its features give me chill and even par them up with eth and btc they have lots up on their sleeve.

I have few but my love for btc will not fade so will only add btc alone cause I'm contended already with my holdings.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Integrating cryptocurrency in business on: February 20, 2020, 01:11:14 PM
The digital currency’s fluctuation might become a minor hindrance as the consequence of the integration, but it will minimize fraud risks.

This is a big issue IMO. You see, fluctuation really affect the prices on the market isnt it? Imagine goods and services under bitcoin payment will struggle with their clients and customers as services are being hampered in hike and surge. Fraud risks can be lesse but thinking it would be a minor hindrance isnt yet to be confident. Mass adoption is good but factors like economic conflict will always affect the market.

Just this week in my country state there have been in installation of the first ever bitcoin atm machine that will service businesses

Nice. What country is it if you dont mind asking? If its first then its a big leap fo you guys. I know there are lots of bitcoin atm machine installed already around the globe but on smallet country we can see the possibility and this is good even slowly at least they keep their pace on the run to more progress.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BLAME THE INVESTOR FOR LOOSING NOT THE CRYPTO ECOSYSTEM on: February 20, 2020, 07:39:37 AM
Props to OP.

I think you did a very good putting up of words for a nice advise. All what you said is all true. Scam will always be there and the worst part here is the money stolen are from newbies and investors that dont do any research.

Scam projects will exist as long as there are investors who bite their wrong doings. The problem is many investors are only after money and ignoring the things that they need to consider before investing their hard earned money.

This is right. Most investors dont really concern about the factors that could lead to such trap. Most of them becoming greedy once they earned a bit. Too much is bad and always seek discipline cause money is involved here.
