6021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 27, 2019, 11:57:44 AM
I have read a lot of the responses in this thread and I think the best way to donate is to fool ourselves into allocating a certain monthly budget from our wages to gambling and donate even $1 to a charity or cause. This is of course only if you really have the urge to gamble as a method of entertaining yourself. Think about it like paying a ticket to the cinema( a few of them) and then after you got entertained and you still got some bucks left do a good in this world and plant a tree or help a sick person have an operation, etc. It's also good for the soul no matter how you got that money through gambling or from your wage or any other legal activity you've done.
That’s why I always laugh if someone is posting about criticizing others when they are saying that playing or gambling is a way of fun and why need to waste money if we are just looking for fun

Just like entering a carnival or like you mentioned cinema that you need ticket to enjoy the show or the rides gambling is way the same because you are spending money to have fun and there’s a chance that you might win but in cinema or carnival?whats the promise profit?
6022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 27, 2019, 11:24:57 AM
Limiting your exposure is crucial. Set the amount and stick to it. For example if you go to physical casino, take $100 in cash with you and leave credit cards at home. Everything else is just a matter of entertainment.

Of course if you gamble away $100 every day that might be a different problem - addiction.
Having exact amount is really helpful and that’s a perfect example of being responsible gambler meaning you have a discipline and may prevent to become addicted

We have known those gamblers that has no restrictions when playing and they all end up losing and some turns being bankrupt.
So yes discipline is the best weapon to battle gambling addictions and losing credibility’s because of this bad habits I’ve become a victim
6023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Claim the #2 Position? on: October 27, 2019, 11:00:40 AM
To the ongoing Bull trend of Ripple (XRP), It is likely to gain 90% more to the current price of $0.2897 USD, with 0.00003475 BTC in terms of Bitcoins. XRP is more likely to push upwards and predicted to beat Ethereum to take its place and be ranked #2 in the cryptocurrency market.

XRP has a market cap of $12,517,129,114 USD with total supply of 99,991,330,383 XRP. The return on investment (ROI) for Ripple has stood at a whopping 4,836.66%. XRP has gained a total of 28% since the end of September and is residing in its trade beneath Ethereum.

XRP had taken the number 2 position couple of times in 2018 when this centralized currency boomed and made a huge pumping and reached the all time high of $3.84 in January 4 2018

But now.no I don’t see any possibilities of ripple taking ethereum place again, and seeing ETH capitalization?certainly no taking over will happen this soon, maybe in future
6024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen if the ethereum price decline continues? on: October 27, 2019, 10:41:33 AM
Yes ether price was declined so i think this is the right tome to invest in bitcoin as we can see investor are waiting to dump ether for them to buy more.
Ether now is a good coins thet we can invest our money.
Are you drunk?you said people are dumping ethereum to buy bitcoin and in the end telling us that it’s good to buy more ethereum?better clear you Stand here because it’s contradicting

And? What's wrong with that? The best time to accumulate is when everyone else is dumping. Would you rather buy in during the all time high whenever people are buying? As Warren Buffett once said "Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful". If I saw Ethereum dump 50% tomorrow, I'd trade my Bitcoin holdings for it in heart beat.
Why not try to read and understand the post first before questioning?have you read what he said?and you are asking what’s wrong?

The wrong is his message is contradicting and if you did not find that the it’s your problem lol

Ethereum price starts declining when ICOs started failing due to scam. We all know that majority of new projrcts us their platform that is why the demand for ethereum decreased. If this continue or if there is no further development on the ethereum's team part, ethereum might as well go down in ranking in regards to marketcap.
When most of the projects that fail and in funding using ethereum can indeed be one of the triggers of falling prices from ethereum because we many projects that fail and get so much ethereum they sell the ethereum assets and the amount is not small. so many lists of failed projects and huge funds.plus that this year IEO has become the main interest of investors. and the presence of IEO has no effect on ethereum
Well ethereum platform is indeed being used of more IcO and the failure of those project really effect the value but it doesn’t mean that this is the reason for falling,I think this is about the power of bitcoin affecting everything and we can’t deny it by looking at the chart
6025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen if the ethereum price decline continues? on: October 26, 2019, 02:11:28 PM
in mid January 2018 ethereum was in the range of $ 1,377 and that was the highest achievement of ethereum prices in 2018. and in 2019 ethereum there was no significant change, at this time ethereum was still stable with prices fixed or in the range of $ 190.
if the ethereum price decline continues, it looks like the tokens generated from the ethereum platform will not have high selling points and most likely the project developers will also no longer use ethereum's platform. isn't the end like that?
It didn’t continue declining because from the fall of below $100 now we are near $200 again  if bitcoin passed $10,000 again surely Ethereum will break 200 as well

6026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think will outperform btc in the upcoming crypto summer? on: October 26, 2019, 01:46:17 PM
Please justify your recommendations so that others may taken an educated decision.
OR maybe misleads?why always need to find something to outperformed Bitcoin?what would b3the benefits?will this bring you profit?
Why instead of looking for this one is find altcoins that may perform well?or may grow higher that enough to at least helps us recover from the past losses?
Anyway I am looking forward for ethereum to perform well not only in summer but to the next winter as well
6027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Sportsbook with Instant withdraw and No KYC? on: October 26, 2019, 01:30:20 PM

6028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 26, 2019, 01:08:38 PM
My vote is that cigar addiction is worse then gambling addiction
I know people personally in real life who have got lung cancer from smoking and the same cant be said for people I know who gamble
They are both addictions which can lead you to suffer in life but cigar addiction is worse for cancer alone

I also knew people that become street dwellers because of gambling also and life was not that good for him, what I was saying is both gambling and cigarette smoking can bring us miserable life if we don’t take it seriously.

There’s nothing wrong to have vices if we know how to label ourselves in engaging on those, example is gamble with extra money and don’t risk your monthly budgets for this

Same as in smoking ,try to do it occasionally or in socializing and don’t smoke regularly so the risk of having cancer will not there.maybe these are very hard to achieve but if you do?for sure you will be the coolest gambler/smoker in the world
6029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: October 26, 2019, 01:01:55 AM
It's been a decade since Bitcoin emerged as a decentralized digital currency for the people. While it's no secret that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrrencies have some drawbacks, they're still a great alternative to Fiat when it comes to making payments without a centralized entity in charge of our funds.

With latest advancements such as DAGs, smart contracts, Layer-Two scaling solutions, Dandelion Protocol, Zero Knowledge Proofs, and more, it's becoming more evident that crypto will someday replace traditional payment processors like PayPal, Apple Pay, and Android Pay. Yet, Blockchain technology is still struggling with user adoption and regulatory compliance.

Nonetheless, do you believe that there's hope for Bitcoin to beat traditional payment processors or will those same payment processors adapt to the Blockchain in the future? Huh

I believe that they will adopt the advancement of technology for them to stay.
But they can deny as well?

Anyway about the OP ,I’m sure that traditional payment method will remain while bitcoin dominates the market,we cannot take all the users because the other generation don’t really tend to adopt the technology we have now,but the next generation in which our siblings will surely use full technology and by that time maybe traditional payments will totally disappear from our system
6030  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit a new low since 2018 on: October 26, 2019, 12:29:21 AM
Now some people on the Internet predict that bitcoin will hit a new low since 2018. Is this someone harvesting leeks and alarmist? Historically, there seems to be a similar voice every time prices fall. Our retail investors are reduced to leeks every time.
Would you stop posting like this?while we are looking for growth all you do isn’t posting something in negative side?

Aren’t you getting tired of Fud and misleading when the truth is you are all also for profit?

No bitcoin will never go down below 4$k again and the stability will continue at $7k.and even time comes that we fell again at that low?i will make sure to take that advantage to buy more bitcoin and will even consider loaning just to have plenty of this great currency
6031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 26, 2019, 12:02:35 AM
It depends on their perspective and interest in technology and economy I guess.
People who don't get it because they can't understand bitcoin due to the complicated way to use it, just fell it not attractive to be used even for a store of value, because they see how quickly the price fluctuates over time. and others will invest in bitcoin in order to gain profits in the future without never to understand the fundamentals of bitcoin.
And also depending on their environment, because we must admit that we are lucky for having someone that known bitcoin and cryptocurrency for long time and guided us to learn and be knowledgeable in this area but others don’t have this privilege, they are learning by themselves that’s why it’s getting harder for them to understand.
What we need is educate them and help them to have enough knowledge and with this action we can mak crypto more great and not just by earning but spreading as well
6032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice on: October 25, 2019, 03:21:56 PM
Please don't borrow and spend on gambling, it might give an earning, but that mostly leads to suffering. Cry
I still remember this being discussed in one thread in the gambling section about things gambling players shouldn't do..  starting from don't get drunk when gambling, don't bring family problems, work, or love when gambling and last don't borrow money to gamble..  borrowing other people's money to gamble sounds very easy if you win but in reality, it will lead you to other bigger problems if you lose.
But OP was talking about his experiences and the reason why he will changing,as he needs to find job just to payback his credit
This way Op did not drink because all he aim is to win big to cover the borrowed money, but suddenly instead of winning losing is what he got so sorry for the losses
6033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 25, 2019, 03:03:20 PM

Is that considered washing a dirty money to be clean. They say that "gambling money is dirty money" so if it is donated to charity they will be cleaned now  Grin.

NO, that's a wrong mentality, gambling money is not dirty because gambling is not illegal.
For me, I would not donate money just for the purpose of washing it, I will donate because I like what I am doing and I want to help the needy.

Gambling money is like your income in a business because you risk the money to make money, we should think that way.
It depends on where you are living mate, there a many countries that prohibiting gambling it means they are banning this area so the debate will never stop since if one of you live in place where gambling is legal and others live in places where gambling is legal?

And let’s not value religion in this topic because it’s about our hearts desires to help others either the money is good .org bad but the important thing is our motive and that is a heart full truth
6034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 25, 2019, 02:49:17 PM
For me addiction to gambling is worse than addicted to Cigars or Drugs because here we are also difficult to be able to escape from gambling. sometimes when we want to stop can not resist temptation even more so the thought of defeat that has been experienced also makes us difficult to stop playing. based on my personal experience
lol drugs not even mentioned so don’t add another vices 😂

While I almost agree on you,but the point is gambling can be controlled and may be used just for fun.but what about cigarettes?is the really for fun when your lungs is slowly dying?and your life will soon becomes miserable when you lay because of sickness?then who will suffer? Your family?

Why not just gamble a little and stop smoking?why not use the amount usually allot for smoking to use playing in gambling?if luck turns to you for sure, your life will change
6035  Other / Off-topic / Re: BEWARE of Telegram Group Member adding services on: October 24, 2019, 12:37:02 PM
                   ~snip~

No Offense taken Smiley You are right in a way. People might not read messages from random people but noone gets messages that frequently actually. I havent got any ramdon messages in 2 years. Also if you dont read new messages, I wonder how you react if someone adds you in a group without your concent Smiley

Just like what you’ve said in OP I instantly reported them as SPAM and leave 😂
Quote

To be successful, you need a very good message. For example, sending discount coupons for blockchain events gets good reaction. Or sending a free signal for a coin is also risky but catchy. People wonder if it succeded or not. That is how you get good interaction. Also it is good for betting websites. If you can explain the use of crytpo, you can attract users even from regular betting groups. (not knowing the crypto world). Adding people in a group is risky because people can click spam, but sending a link of your group is not that risky because if you report the message, the sender gets the punishment, not the group. If someone joins the group because of the message, they become an active member and ask questions to see what is going on. We create new accounts to send these messages and we create a lot of them because one new account can send 10 to 20 messages. After that, telegram blocks the account. That is why the service is costly. We create 80,000 to 100,000 accounts to send 1,000,000 messages.
Well you have explained well and I understand you point I have just state some fact also to help you put your stand in each issues

But after all its costumers prerogative on which service they will hire, anyway Goodluck to this Service offer
6036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF]Part 2 on: October 24, 2019, 12:28:08 PM
[snip]
So, in my part, if that's going to happen then I might have to feel the regret though, but I believe what happens—happened for a reason. I can't do anything if I have to feel sorry or even angry, what's done is done and I can't do anything about it.
Well, you have a point. Done is done, nothing to regret or even you make feel angry. Just learn your mistake and move on.
Who knows by next time, the scenario that you have been encounter and that was only a mistake. Just to be calm, and might enjoy for a moment as what you had now. Just be careful especailly in your country.
But you cannot take that from the person involved to mourn from the almost becoming a millionaire lol 😂 imagine you are nearer but suddenly things like that happen?for sure moving on will take long time before happening.

Even us knew that it was not easy to accept those facts but eventually we have no choice but feel better and try the luck next time

But hope if the another chance came we are on the right track lol
6037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learn to play Dice on: October 24, 2019, 12:03:40 PM
Playing dice is very easy and I don't see any hard for the players who are newbie to not understand how to play dice.
when Im starting playing dice only some half hour when I learned how to play because basically it is basic compared to the other games who are very difficult to understand how the games works like poker who for the others are hard to understand.
It's easy, but now to be able to play with more tricks provides a great chance of victory. rather than just playing games without any knowledge. I myself have learned that dice requires calculation because it is included in the gambling of counting numbers so it requires a strategy in playing it.You can prove gambling without tricks and also gamble using tricks
TRICKS?really ?so how thy EASY  goes?mind to tell us some tricks and how will this bring winnings?i am wondering since you have already calculated the dice game why still not becomes rich?i think this is just a joke?lol

You can’t win in gambling by tricks specially in dice when the numbers dictates the winning combination and by just dropping the dice in table so where is the calculation there?
6038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 24, 2019, 11:42:08 AM
I know this topic was, but I'm interested in explaining why you would compare these two things that have only one thing in common, addiction. Why compare them if they are two different terms.
Eg for cigars we give money and have no profit, while for gambling we give money and there is a possibility of getting money. In the world, these two topics are crucial, but why Huh
Whether the addiction is a mental deficiency or simply as a love for something?
When someone loves a sport is he or she addicted?
Since I hate cigarettes I will definitely agree on this that it’s much better to gamble than to buy cigarettes, the amount smokers consume for daily dose is enough to gamble in dice game and my have chance to win “Money” and not “Lung Cancer”

So if you have to choose between the 2?dont hesitate to take gambling and don’t choose both meaning smoking while playing in gambling lol
6039  Other / Off-topic / Re: BEWARE of Telegram Group Member adding services on: October 24, 2019, 11:23:06 AM
So basically, instead of inviting a Telegram member to a Channel or Group, you message them directly? That's your service?

yeah, We send messages to each of them. This way noone can spam your group and harm it.
But how would you expect people will react to your services offered?when people in telegram are very strict in engaging random messages coming from random person?
Just like me I never read messages sent from anyone unless I expect the message from a friend or from a company I first send a message?and I report those randomly received messages?i think that your service is good and respectable for the groups but not for individuals that you will be sending

Just my 2cents and no offense
6040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2019, 10:31:52 AM
I'm buying ~500$ in Bitcoin every month with part of my salary. I have a stable job and my company is doing good. I'm wondering if it worth to take 20.000$ to buy 2 BTC now and pay the 500$ as loan installment instead of buying sats every month. I believe in the potential of Bitcoin to reach 50k in a couple years, but it wouldn't be possible to buy near half of BTC at the 500$ rate, so this would be something like an "advance". Hypothetically (but still possible in some probability), if BTC collapses and never recover from 8k, I would still be paying this loan for about 3 years but wouldn't starve or something like that, it would just sux for a while, since I still have another source of income. I know it's not the place to ask I will do whatever I think it's best, but if you were in my position, would you do it?
This will take you 40 months to pay the Loan?i afraid this is advisable because many things may happen in more than 3 years, what if you got fired or something emergency happens and you need to stop working?where will go take that 500$ monthly obligations when the price of bitcoin continues to fall?

The answer is NO never risk your future with loans, though we all believe in Bitcoin and we know how this can be in the future but we are not certain when this be happening and that is the risk of getting loan to invest in crypto

Try not to make this kind of decision for you own goodness mate,I have seen some post here about same situation and they are not in pain until this moment
