What I like most about bitcoin was when an investor invest his money to bitcoin, it will double their invested money or it will grow day by day. And one thing I like about it was, you can trade it. Bitcoin has a big value where a rich people can trade anything to it.

My plans for 2018 is to continue funding my dreams and be putting more and more money on cryptocurrency. From Jan I plan to live on just 10% of my net income. My current portfolio is not very large but I intend to grow it as much as I possibly can. I dont anticipate this to be an easy excercise but it will be worth it..I hope. I do have some business ideas in mind, i will be investigating those as well.
I myself only allocate 20% of my salary to invest in cryptocurrency and until now the results of profits is quite promising you know ? the profit I get I take half of it and I re-input as capital to buy potential ico and other cryptocurrency again. target 2018 no need to allocate funds from realjob salary to capital in cryptocurrency. so I pure use income from cryptocurrency just for further capital. That is a great plan for you for the next year and i think that will work because if you will not get some money from your salary then you can spend your salary from your regular job into something worth it like building your emergency fund and having a life insurance and many more. If you will do those things properly, i think that it will be easy for you to have a financial freedom. |

I didn't know that bitcoin was banned to other country. Maybe they banned bitcoin because of the wrong practice, like they sell it in a very low price, they use it to purchase something that is not good. So as long as bitcoin is not banned to our country, used it in a right way, spend it in a right way. Because not all the time there is an opportunity so grab it once and do not abuse it.
They banned bitcoin because they fear for the possible things to happen in their country if they will tolerate the use of bitcoin because most of the huge crimes could possibly involved with bitcoin and that gives them idea to just ban bitcoin to avoid future complications in their country but i think that in the future, when they see bitcoin is being accepted by most of the other countries then it will change their mind and they will remove the ban for bitcoin. |

Porn sites here in Philippines are already banned a few months ago because of it's bad influence especially to the millenials. But getting porn sites to accept bitcoin is another story. It is not acceptable. It is not a wrong practice or use of bitcoin. We just use our common sense. Why we use bitcoin to purchase something that is not good for everyone.

Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.
I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

If you can buy bitcoins now and do not have a specific time and was able to wait for a couple of years then you can start investing now because you can still earn your profit in the long run when the price of bitcoin increases even further. But if you are planning an short time investment with minimal risk and faster profit then try to wait for a lower price then buy and hold for atleast a couple of months, don't expect to much though. Long term investment is still better than short term investment because the possible profit that you can get in a short term investment is not that high and it has also a high risk because the market is volatile and having a short term mindset can lead you to have losses when the market goes wrong and since you are in short term then you will often think of panic selling or being contented with small profit rather than thinking big and aiming for a high price and huge profit. |

Yes i use some of my bitcoins for internet load,we all know that the main requirents to access bitcoin is internet. And some of it i use for my needs and the rest are holding believinf that the value will become more higher.
We’re the same. I always use my bitcoin in terms of internet load, because we don’t have a wifi yet. I always leave 30$ for it. And I know someday i’m gonna have my own internet connection, I do believe in myself. As for me, I use 40% of my bitcoin. I converted it into fiat and cash it out so I can buy my daily necessities. I also use it for my internet connection. I don't need to convert it into fiat since I can buy internet load in my local wallet using my bitcoin. I use my bitcoin since my salary is not enough for my family's necessities. The remaining 60% of my bitcoin is, I hold it for investment purposes. I suggest to you to learn or study trading so you can have a chance to make your left over bitcoins grow into bigger amount or at least recover your expenses from bitcoin so you will have a good type of portfolio in bitcoin and you will not worry for the money anymore. Always use your bitcoin for necessities and as much as you can, make it grow. |

It looks like all of you people make the same mistake. "I want bitcoin to reach..." is not a goal. It is a wish. "I am going to buy X coins" is a goal  If it has a deadline. I agree with you. That is the real meaning of goal because setting up a target for a certain amount is a real goal and wishing or speculating for the possible price of bitcoin is not that kind of goal because you cannot make sure that your wish will become true because the price of bitcoin is unpredictable and goal is more like attainable or can be reach and it all can be done by you. |

the use of bitcoin has been very widely used by people in the world. in my country offline payment still can not be used because of government regulations that prohibit the use of bitcoin. so for me bitcoin is as an attractive investment and online payment like shopping and hotel pay
Bitcoin is suited for online payments like for online shopping booking with a hotel or booking for a flight. Bitcoin is an online money and it should be spent online. Using bitcoin through offline process is impossible because it needs internet connection and even in the future, online payments using bitcoin is not possible. |

Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket,restaurants and some institutions.But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
It is because it is a stable asset, valuable is widely used by our early ancestors thousands of years ago and has never ending usage in any industrial or electronic devices especially these days. Gold is unaffected by air, water, alkalis and all acids except aqua regia which can dissolve gold unlike Bitcoin which is dependent to internet connection, electricity and devices. Though Bitcoin is the best choice in terms of payments because it has a fast, secure and transparent transaction compared to gold. I find it hard to keep gold because when you have it on your possesion like jewelries muggers and robbers are your friends while in Bitcoin, as long as you keep it in a safe place and no one knows your private keys then yor funds are safe. Tax is a big deal when it comes to investment so I'll go for Bitcoin over gold. Stability is a big deal for the people and that is right that they prefer safer investment and also stable investment and with gold it is all possible and there is nothing to worry about because it is like a safe bet compare to the other type of investment. Gold might be an outdated investment because it is stuck in the old use but it will still give you good return of at least 10% per year, in my opinion. |

I think it could be replaced one day if people will stop buying and selling bitcoins and start turning eyes on other cryptocurrency. But for now bitcoin is one of a special digital currency as it is well known throughout the world and used as a money on transactions.

I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.
I think the reality of bitcoin alone is a very lucrative investment without tax without counterfeit and safe money in my opinion and many people who are successful because investing with bitcoin That is true that there is a lot of people are now successful because they invested in bitcoin and they got a lot of gains from their investment and that is the reason for us to invest in bitcoin also and hold it for a long time to expect and get the same result. As long as the bitcoin is not being taxed then we should take it as an advantage because we can get all the profits without any decrease on the amount which is also great especially if we are taking huge number of profits. |

Every investment that can be very volatile is risky. BTC price is very volatile so you can gain big profit but in the same time you can loose a part of your investments (in US dollar equivalent for example). For long term BTC investors this risk is not so high.
I agree with you. With long term holding of bitcoin then the risks is being lowered and decreased and that is why it is very wise and advisable to just hold bitcoin for long term and not to invest in bitcoin for short term because it is very risky and also it will not bring good or big profits in the future compare to holding bitcoin for a long time. |

Everything that has a beginning has an end. Though we may not see it in our life time, there must be a time where it will stop. For example, world war 3, or the whole internet shuts down for some reason. We never know.
Although you have a point, I don't really think bitcoin will end. Just like fiat currency, do you really think fiat will end also? I don't think so. Bitcoin is getting popular day by day. Everyday, bitcoin users increases that resulted into increasing of demand in bitcoin. If there would be a possibility that bitcoin will end, I guess it's not world war 3 or the internet shuts down coz nowadays, it's really impossible to happen. If there would be no more demand and supply in bitcoin, then that's the time that it will end. But of course, it's too impossible to happen and will never gonna happen. " Bitcoin is not a perfect currency and it still have a lot of flaws and almost outdated features compared to the cryptocurrencies right now because if bitcoin will have a worse system and if the people will experience that then it will result for bitcoin to end and people cannot do anything but to leave bitcoin and move on. |

I am more into playing it safe also. We should not be greedy because greediness doesn't bring any good or positive results because it often gives bad or even worst case scenarios results for us and it is better to just play it safe to have assurance that the things is still okay and there is no harm for us to lose something.
