6021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Folding At Home With Medic Coin Earn Big Money with your GPUs on: March 31, 2018, 06:52:42 PM
Well I finally got around to trading my MEDIC coins on stock.exchange. Unfortunately its been 24hrs and it still hasn't shown up. I was smart and only sent a few Smiley. Being the only exchange for the coins doesn't look good. I suggest people look elsewhere to unload these coins. PM me if you want to do a personal trade.
Have you already contact their support? Surfing to that exchanger do already give me the doubt

Checking out recent buy orders as of this writing it do only have Total: 0.265247 BTC and having 189196.0 MEDIC sell orders not showing a good volume.

If i do have a 1080 GPU then i wont waste up on mining this one.
6022  Economy / Securities / Re: Do you think all ICO are securities ? on: March 31, 2018, 04:58:31 PM
The very definition of a security means that you own a stake in the company, whereas ICO tokens don't allow you a stake in the company behind the ICO.

They're not shares, they're not securities, bonds or any of the like, they're simply tokens, they're in a new class of investment.
On general or technically speaking cryptocurrencies cant really be considered as securities because as being mentioned securities means you do have a share or bond and as being said crypto tokens doesnt really work on this way.You might holding up a token but doesnt really signify that this would be a security. Some people do insist regarding into this matter but well its their own beliefs as long we do know how crypto works then just let other people do treat on what they are believing.
6023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do they are lot of bounties scam ? on: March 31, 2018, 03:52:22 PM
Do not be afraid to participate in the bounty, you do not invest your money, you just do the job and get tokens, the only thing you can lose when working with the bounty is your time
Time is Gold we might not able to invest or nothing to lose but the time and the work been done wont really be an easy thing to accept to ourselves and as a bounty hunter we would really be pissed due to this one. There are lots of scam bounties in the fact that this is one of the ways on how to make money easy out of those investor being scammed wont really be easy either we invest or not.
6024  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX is going downhill... on: March 31, 2018, 02:26:38 PM
Well I have only tried adding bitcoin in poloniex and also withdrawing some from there, and both times it worked alright. I know it takes some time to process but I think it maybe due to the low fees they charge for withdrawals, so that is fine.
And yes adding funds does take too much time, even more than withdrawals, but fortunately for me, both times it worked fine.

main coins work usually fine with poloniex. I have never had problems with ETH or BTC but one time they issued a missing transaction for LTC, and I rescued them 3 days later.
I think they have some bug in their withdrawal process, sometimes something goes bad and they also admitted this on official thread
Having these delayed issues wont really be new specially into this very high volumed exchange on where there would be backlogs and delays which causes slowdown into its operation. Likewise, i didnt experience any issues when depositing and withdrawing specially on main coins like BTC and ETH but when it comes into another alts i do experienced delays but somehow they do able to resolve it later on.
6025  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is the CME GROUP BTC Trading Launch, push the BTC price down the last month ? on: March 30, 2018, 09:25:24 PM

If we look back this moment, is it the launch of BTC trading on CME GROUP a smart thing to do?

I have the Feeling that the market is pushed down from the moment CME GROUP launch there BTC trading.

Before BTC was a mystery underground feeling, but now its control by people with big big money wallets that put on Walls and pushed the Price down.

Is it not time to get back to the old time's, and jump over to a other Coin, and not be controlled by the big wallets maffia?

I think we can shit on there head, by ignore BTC and jump over to a other coin.
So that there down pushing will result in nothing, because soon they will pump the price back up.
And they will use us to buy and buy on the upline hype.

Or am i wrong, sorry for the shitty english  Smiley
We cant really remove these presumption to our mind since cryptocurrency is already making a buzzing sound when it comes to investment opportunities and for those people who do have fat wallet would always comes after to a thing where they saw that they can able to make money on where we can really presume that they are already entering to this market for the sole of profits and manipulation is possible but talking into your suggestion on jumping into another coin then its not really a wise decision to be done.
6026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IS ETHERDELTA SAFE? on: March 30, 2018, 08:53:53 PM
A few months ago there was an issue with Etherdelta and some people lost their ETH and tokens.

Has the issue been fixed, is it safe now?

As far as i know Etherdelta is built to use smart contracts

which means our ETH and tokens are safe and what happened last time was partly caused by a change of ownership and no one lost coins because of this and when you talk of safety its our duty to ensure we use the correct Etherdelta domain, do not click unknown links especially those received via email and avoid sharing our private keys with others as we could lose all our coins for doing so.
Its not caused by change of ownership when we do recall the past hacking incident which is thru DNS hacking where when you do left you eth wallet logged in to the site which most probably can be stolen.
For now I haven't seen any recent issues on such loss of coins and I think its still safe to make use of Etherdelta but if you do have still on doubts on using DEX then you can use IDEX or Forkdelta.
6027  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 30, 2018, 08:24:48 PM
I still believe it does. Potential investors i believe are still roaming around this forum. So whenever they see banners of different ICOs being worn by posters it catches their attentions i think. Wearing banners by active poster creates traffic and it is good.
Yes one nice step is to promote ICO in this forum and one of them is to use the signature owned by each account here. We all know that this forum is used by various people in the world, many experts and professionals who dedicate their lives to be able to find information about the development of digital currency, in addition I also believe that they are an investor. An ICO investor is one who understands the digital currency. So that is the right thing, the right promotion and also with a brief explanation will make many people interested to be able to invest in an ICO (project).
You are right and just considering on the traffic on this entire forum we would really able to say that there would really be lots of potential investors out of this forum this is why most company do really target this place on having a signature campaign since they do know that this would contribute on getting up potential investors and would be the reasons on such success of the sale.
Conversion rates matter more than just traffic. From what I know, advertised websites do get bad conversion rates even if promoted with high number of signature campaign participants. The reason people still continue to do so is because signature campaigns are not just a traffic-conversion tactic anymore,it has become a small part of the crypto-culture and ever upcoming service acknowledges it's presence.
I agree to your point but we cant really remove the thing that they do also basing on the traffic into this forum which this is really a good medium to advertise ICO related matters but as you said this had been already a part of crypto-culture which I do 100% agree on this thing.Signature campaign been here after few years into this forum. Exposure would be more visible due to these kind of campaign unlike others it might be fast too but the target audience wont really be suited.

6029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For newbie, Why I choose bounty over ICO? on: March 29, 2018, 08:54:40 PM
Hello newbie,

I wanna share my experience with you about bounty/ ICO. In December 2017, there was so many ICOs that you could get x10 or x20 profit.  Grin

However, It was competitive to join in those hot ICO because of whitelistiing and gas war battle. I finally found one and get whitelisted. It guaranteed that every whitelisted member can contribute with 1ETH. The market started to bearish in early Februry, I decided to contribute 0.5 ETH, at the same time, I also joined 1 bounty. As of today 03/23, the free tokens i got from bounty are still same price of ICO, but the tokens I bought from ICO goes down from 0.0005 ETH to 0.0002 ETH.  Cry

I realized that many ICO just goes down when they hit the exchange, with that experience, I mostly join bounty.
You have nothing to loose to join bounty but extra income.  Cheesy

Do you have any experience with your ICO or bounty?

I think ICOs are just a gamble. If you are lucky then you'll get x10 or x20 profit. And even getting x2 profit is not already bad because at least you earned something. But the issue here in bounties is there are also scam bounties where you won't get rewarded with the expected amount and at the worst case, you won't get rewarded at all. The best thing to avoid these things is to do research before investing in ICOs and joining bounty campaigns.
Becoming a gamble when you haven't done your assignment on researching up things. ICO investments are worth but finding the potential projects would be the hardest one and this is why we do always presume and invest basing with our intuition which isn't really right at all. When it comes to profitability then ICO would really give you some serious profits but we do all know that this investment would really require money which isn't really available on each person.
6030  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income on: March 29, 2018, 08:16:38 PM
Here in my country which is now an upcoming tiger economy (though we are still classified as a third-world country), we are free to participate in Bitcoin both buying and selling as the government is treating Bitcoin just like any other foreiign money.

However, I am sure that only a very, very small fraction of us are declaring our Bitcoin income. It seems to me that the government is not that interested to get strict with individuals as long as they can tax the Bitcoin exchange provider for the service rendered.

I am then wondering the situation with other countries. Can your government really be able to track if you never declared gains made from Bitcoin transactions?
Government can track your transaction because we know that it is traceable on blockchain, if you owns that wallet and that wallet has your own name attached to it. but their are wallets that you can withraw and atm's to change bitcoin to fiat money. Governments in your country are sure using bitcoin to earn a lot for themselves, it has a high chance before you joined bitcoin, they know bitcoin already and they use it for a long time, Governments will sure not slip every opportunity to make income not for their country but for their own profit.
What would you expect on the things that government do?They wont really make any chances for someone to skip to their obligations or which they do saw that they can able to make money too. We can say blockchain is on public and can be traced up but this would still be a hard thing and this is why most governments doesn't really like bitcoin after all. They do know that tracing such thing would be difficult.
6031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stabilized? on: March 29, 2018, 06:49:55 PM
Wait for $6-6.5k per BTC  Cheesy After that market will be stabilized. Now not. Too many events and not good news. I think we will see some news to dump soon.
I'm expecting the same thing actually on where the market would dump even more due to more negative news would be announced sooner or later.Im not really too surprised and I'm somehow expecting those news to broadcasted. Market stabilization wont really happen since we do know price is way too volatile and as an investor or trader then having these movements wont really surprised us.
6032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Hits $ 460 - Equivalent Price to November 2017 - Whats Next ? on: March 29, 2018, 06:22:06 PM
this whole situation on the market reminds me very much of January of this year, when everybody was in the same confusion.
Same here.of all the years I have been engage with crypto I do observe that price specially on first quarter of every year we do really experience bearish movement but for this year its quiet longer that I expected which it almost last until near april and we don't know if it would still continue or bounce back.
Next stop 350$, choo choo. Wink
In all reality, it will depend on what btc is going to do.
Bitcoin would always have the capability to dictate the whole market which almost all alts would really follow the same trend.
6033  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex locked my 500 BTC account and is asking for police report on: March 28, 2018, 07:50:11 PM
either there is some miscommunication, or i am missing something.

why are they treating this as a compromised account? you're not saying your account was hacked (and funds stolen), so why are they asserting that and requiring a police report?

I think it must have something to do with this.

bitfinex asked me to do a complete verification after I lost access to my account a while ago.

From reading the email Bitfinex sent they are not convinced the OP is the rightful owner of the account. If I'm reading the OP correctly they are either trying to recover a hacked account/lost password or they did that earlier and now Bitfinex has become suspicious about it.

This sounds like the most reasonable explanation. It is a lot of coin, after all, millions of dollar's worth, so bitfinex is simply covering their asses with this one. To OP, unfortunately, they do have the right to request for verification to prove ownership and identity, it says so in their terms. To what extent, it's difficult to say.

Notary public and all that won't cost you much but I would take the advice of others and just engage a qualified legal practitioner to get all this done for you. Pretty sure they'd do it for a small fee probably less than 1% of that 500 BTC.

Not a terrible cost to pay, considering the sum involved. Why anyone would want to store so much outside a wallet they don't control I wouldn't know....
This is quiet odd actually on where OP doesn't have the access on such account. If I do stored up hundreds of BTC's on an exchange account then forgetting its password would really be a dumb thing or almost impossible for a person to be done since it worth millions of dollars and neglecting it is impossible. For now if you are really the owner then theres nothing to worry since you can able to comply on what those things being required.
6034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the BEST? on: March 28, 2018, 07:07:59 PM
How are you defining those promising bounty campaigns? The best way to earn nowadays is to get employment. You can do airdrops, bounties, etc. if you have extra time but while you are young or you have the capacity to work then why not be employed? or if you have enough capital you can start your own business. Having multiple source of income, employment + business + crypto's will be the best way to earn nowadays but you have to maximize your time.
Defining promising campaigns is nearly impossible since no one can really point out which one would succeed or not.If someone do rely on bounty earnings for its living or expenses then it would really be a risky thing and same as you suggested why not be employed since we can still engaged into crypto while we are still working since we know bounty programs doesn't really consume too much time.Diversification of your time well will really give you advantage.
6035  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: MrGox Trustee Sells more $700 Milion Today ( Bitcoin goes down again ) on: March 28, 2018, 06:28:46 PM
I still don't understand the reason why he is selling the BTC and BCH. Why can't he simply transfer those coins to their rightful owners? Also, I am curious what is going to happen with the balance in other forked coins, such as Bitcoin Gold, Super-Bitcoin and Bitcoin Silver. Is he selling those coins as well?
It's easy. Bitcoins are sold after the claim is recognized officially and the court made the decision on compensation of damage. All of these decisions according to the law accepted in yen. Everyone who thinks that in Japan the use of bitcoins is fully regulated is very wrong. Bitcoin in Japan is only a means of payment. How can damage be compensated by means of payment?

OK... In that case I have a doubt. Since the trustee has sold the Bitcoins / BCH and converted them to Japanese Yen, he is supposed to pay a long-term capital gains tax over these gains, right? So the Mt Gox users will receive the JPY they are owned, minus the tax?
Possible on such presumption but doesn't still have a word yet towards that matter. If that's the case then Mt Gox users wont really have any choice but to accept such compensation with tax deductions.
6036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need to double 4,000 USD in 2 weeks on: March 28, 2018, 06:02:54 PM
To say the fact no coin will double your investment in 2 weeks because the market is facing some dip correction and what I will suggest is you invest into ICO like Eligma ICO but it will take more than 2 weeks due to ICO processing.
You are just purely advertising your signature without being sensible or you don't even know  that it would able to resolve OP's question or query. You can assure on 2 weeks time it would even give you 2x in your investment. How sure you are?We do know if coins hits up on exchange we do expect on such decline of price which we can presume hitting up 2x on ico price would really takes time.
6037  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A daily 1% gains. on: March 28, 2018, 05:42:11 PM
I will keep it simple for you here. Anything is possible in the world of crypto if you know how to achieve it. In the trading world it means that if you are well experienced and have high knowledge about what you are doing then chances are there that you " might " be able to do it but the thing is that how much ever experienced you are, the luck might change any time since crypto is too volatile and heavily manipulated. So we cant be assured of getting 1% daily. Some times we might and the other times we may not get it.
With this very volatile market we can really presumed or expect that losing out money will be there but reaching out targets is really very plausible with this market. There are even times that we might able to get  even more percentage on a single day depending on which coin we are engage to.Chances are always there but this would only depend on how we gonna choose and how we gonna do such actions towards it.
6038  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does CoinMarketCap (CMC) manipulates the market? on: March 26, 2018, 08:12:30 PM
I have gone threw the whole article , the amount of information provided blew my mind , I do not know from where to start but we can bypass the first 5 coins mentioned in the article the difference off marketcap does not make huge change or effect the rank list but there is still some mistakes specially with BTC official site , it is a joke to leave it as BCH site .

starting from coin number 6 things started to get interesting the difference in circulating supply in some coins is huge and is for sure effecting the whole market specially for a coin like Stellar and the list  goes on and on .

I always go to CMC for info but never invested according to them , I always use the social media accounts for the coins I like and ask them the  questions by myself if I am to invest on a certain coin  .

Price and marketcap differences on top 5 coins is considerable which same as you said it doesnt really make an impact or whatsoever in the price but when we do tried to go further we can really see the differences of numbers into other top ranked coins. 6th onwards which isnt really right at all.If you are just basing on CMC on most of the time when you do make investment or trading then these numbers will affect you.We dont even know if these are intentional or not.
6039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature Bounties and local language forums on: March 25, 2018, 08:22:36 PM
Some ICOs allow to post in local sections, others, like my signature Equi, let only 30% of posts in local sections. But to be honest my suggestion is not participate in signatures at least you don't know English. I know guys who use online translator to post in English section. But it is disgusting. I can't stand this members, thus they pollute forum with non-sense messages.
This is why we do have local boards which if you can really hardly post in pure English then you don't have any choice but to stay up with your own local board and I do say that most campaigns don't count post on locals. For some campaigns I do see some consideration but most of the time they are not allowing it.Using up translations might be your last resort but having these tool would really be obvious and you might be discriminated if someone grammar-nazzy will spot you out.
6040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own on: March 25, 2018, 08:02:16 PM
In all honestly your right that at this time, bank is still significant in 50% in our society. But on the statement “until cryptocurrency can stand on its own”, I don’t agree with. It can stand long time ago without the needs of or to be transacting with the banking system. It is now independent, but that is not the problem. The people is not yet ready or afraid to live in a total undocumented process.
I think you are even understating the fact. Banks are significant more than 50% in our society except we just want to lie to ourselves. I do not see banks being ripped off their position in long time from now. Most especially in places where there is even limited access to information and internet, and in even places that there is full access, some are still playing the traditional card to everything and the prefer it that way. In some perspective banks already tarted to lose their significance from common people's economical aspects. I strongly believe this will keep on increasing in coming days.
Banks would never ever lose its significance when it comes to economical matter. We do know their role which most people do know on how these institution words on the entire economy.Crypto might stand on their own but not coming to a point on where people would really transfer from traditional legal system to a decentralized one.I would like to know if how cryptos would stand on their own if they would be still on uncontrollable side?
