I did warn a friend about not to continue wagering to avoid losses but it's not that I stopped him because I know he will misunderstood it. Stopping a gambler not to continue betting is very hard because they might not see it on a bad light and instead you will only look like a bad person to them. Thus, it is better to give them a warning and if they won't listen then let them learn it the hard way.

It does not matter in which section this Ponzi scheme is located. Scam does not cease to be so if placed in the Investor-based games section. For me it does matter, if members especially the newbies know where these type of scam investment are usually posted then they are less likely to join them. Them not being aware that this types of "investment" are not true are most likely blinded by the returns given in a short period that is why they are attracted to the scam. For me the warning given in that thread isn't enough for a lot of newbies to realize that most of the things being posted there are scams. Because this warning: Warning: You are in the Gambling section. You are likely to eventually lose any money that you gamble/"invest". Additionally, moderators do not remove likely scams. You must use your own brain: caveat emptor. Do not gamble more than you can afford to lose. isn't really enough for newbies to understand that they need to stay away from this threads or at least be careful on what they join. I wouldn't bother about lack of concentration because in luck based games the ability to concentrate adds little to the outcome of the game, but pickpockets is the real disaster of land based casinos. You will hardly become a victim of them in luxury casinos of Vegas and Monte-Carlo, but most places can't afford that level of security, and big winners often become big losers there not because of the game, but because of the pickpockets and various crooks waiting for them in the lobby.

And the interesting part is that if some time "afterwards", i.e. after you have recuperated a little, you feel inclined to continue with your activity, that might be an addiction (and this is where you should stop and think). But if you don't, then it is not and you don't have to do anything

Мне кажется, что мы сейчас не то обсуждаем. Уверен, что будущий меритсорсер должен сам изъявить желать стать таковым.
Во многих странах участие в выборах является обязательным, непосещение избирательного участка без уважительной причины ведет к административной ответственности. И как-то эти страны всё еще существуют, не развалились. Проконтролировать качество особых проблем не составляет, тут уйма добровольных контролеров, в отличие от сорсеров. Ну и лимиты на распределение можно тоже сделать, к примеру, не более 2-5 за 1 пост. Ну и да, не стоит забывать, что для экономики мерита в целом неважно, кому и сколько было выдано, главное чтобы баллы ушли в оборот. Сам админ писал об этом следующее: "если не знаете куда дать мерит, то дайте 20-50 за тот пост, за который обычно дали бы два, это лучше чем если smerit будут просто лежать в вашем аккаунте и сгорят". Вы путаете "право избирать и быть избаранным". Мне казалось, что я все доходчиво выше написал. Да, впрочем, я думаю это любому должно быть понятно: ...будущий меритсорсер должен сам изъявить желать стать таковым.
