6041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Vs Altcoins on: July 08, 2019, 07:43:57 AM
When will come bull run ?
Bull runs do not have any fixed date or period, if you're an ardent reader, you must have read that the market is not predictable and that anything can happen anytime.
If you're an investor, you'll have to invest and not worry about when or how the bull run will come, that will only lead to undue pressure to either sell or dump.
Day traders do not actually bother about bull runs, just daily bullish trends for daily profits.
6042  Other / Serious discussion / Re: We finally have the opportunity to write the next chapter for the story of money on: July 06, 2019, 07:19:03 AM
I do not think we'd have to pick between the two currencies, since the inception of the bitcoin and other alts, it's been used alongside fiat currencies and it's going to continue that way.
No one is going away for the other, cryptocurrency has really come a long way, changed lives and provided numerous opportunities for financial freedom.
But fiat currencies are simply indispensable, you and I must make use of it, as we do everyday, no matter how "controlled" it is.
6043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU and phone mining on: July 06, 2019, 06:56:05 AM
I think you should move this post to the mining section here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0
So those with sufficient knowledge in mining will provide correct answers to your questions.

To move just click on the "move" button at the lower left corner of your screen.
6044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking decisions on: July 05, 2019, 01:00:19 PM
If we make no mistakes then we will not learn anything. Bear market taught me a lot. How to behave in difficult times, why it is important to buy more when others are selling like crazy and so on.
We must not make mistakes to learn, we are privy to learn from the mistakes of others and take the needed corrections in order to avoid falling for the same mistakes ourselves.
Doing your own research is pertinent and it's more reassuring before going into an investment, many people over the internet disseminate false information that are erroneous and misleading, it's best to avoid such and carry out our personal research, it makes any decision taking worthwhile.
6045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 04, 2019, 04:08:07 PM
.IMO he won't last too long
With Chelsea's history in firing coaches, I don't actually also think he'll last long, he has barely been a coach for two years, with no experience whatsoever, throwing him into the job for me is not a good one for Chelsea, probably they're tryna do the guardiola(when he took over Barca)
Coaches this days are scared to take the Chelsea job, the body just hasn't got no chill, they want immediate success, they forget other top teams also come in fortified ready to compete.
sadly, I can see Chelsea going trophyless again.
6046  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 04, 2019, 03:31:05 PM
I think it's high time projects know that they cannot rely solely on bounty and airdrop as a means of promotion. A lot of projects launch and they rely on their bounty campaigns and airdrop to help bring in investors and therefore fail to reach their softcap.
It's not due to that fact that ICO projects fail this days, it's due to the general awareness and reality on the part of the investors that ICO(most)are a complete waste of time and money.
It'll most likely end up being a scam, or the coins will be worth zero(nothing)
and if a project is mediocre but have a top notch marketing program, it will succeed beyond expectations.
No matter the marketing strategy a project employs, a shit project still remains one and investors have realized how to secure their money by solely investing in the bitcoin and a few already popular alts(Eth for example).
6047  Other / Meta / Re: Open appreciation, achievement of Hero rank on: July 04, 2019, 12:10:17 PM
I still think that such topic is more relevant if posted in Beginners & Help board.
I can understand the area you're coming from, if it's posted on the beginners board, it'll help to encourage noobs that it's actually possible to rank up, all it takes is just time and effort.
But you must also understand that meta is the section for forum ranks and activities, so meta is the most appropriate section for this sort of posts.

Congratulations to cryptopreneurBrainboss, you're doing a good job on the forum.
6048  Other / Meta / Re: newbie topic starter on: July 04, 2019, 05:59:26 AM
There’s no restriction right now for newbies to create their own topic but I also suggest to have it. This can also help to prevent the spam in the forum, because for me if you’re a real newbie you will read a lot about the forum and will not create any topic that proves you as not a newbie.
You(a newbie)can come into the forum with a reasonable amount of knowledge about the bitcoin and blockchain technology(maybe not about the forum),then why shouldn't such newbies be allowed to start quality topics and share their knowledge on the forum to others.
You forget that there are long time enthusiasts who only recently tried out the forum, they may be newbies in the forum and it's rules, but not in the bitcoin.
Newbies jail according to theymos would never happen again(at least for now)and I'm in support, it'll hinder the good breeds.
6049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 04, 2019, 04:18:07 AM
The sad reality is, Nigeria is full of individualistic players who lack to perform together as a team. Everyone wants the ball and show off what they can do
They lack team spirit just as you've said and I think it's going to be a big disadvantage for them against Cameroon with little stars in their team, but with more team effort.
I cannot see hunger or desire from the super eagles players, only a desire to shine out individually a d no team wins a tournament that way.
Rohr has to do something to bring the best out of his boys against Cameroon, or else he as well as them is going home.
Mo salah needs more trophy so he can make us proud internationally.
Contrary to what many Africans are suggesting, even if Mohammed salah wins the AFCON, he wouldn't still win the ballon d'or award.
6050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin developers jump ship with the sudden high demand for Blockchain dev on: July 04, 2019, 04:05:11 AM
They have already been trying to pick the devs off but they can't get them, you think the big boys like google or facebook hasn't contacted them already?
With time they could, every man has a price and with this big companies launching new coins, it'll only be a matter of time before they switch base to help develop an underlying technology for this new companies, since they will have more money to pay.

But it's nothing to be worried about, definitely all devs cannot be attracted out, and bitcoin is too strong a coin to depend on some developers, the more they go, the more we get more devs, that's just the thing, there will never be a time that bitcoin will lack a qualified number of developers.
6051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [General] How to block someone? on: July 04, 2019, 03:50:03 AM
Only the moderators/administrators have the right to ban/block a particular user, one cannot block a fellow user on the forum, it'll be absurd if that's possible, this is no personal social media platform.Though just as has been suggested you can put a user on ignore and be wouldn't be able to see posts from them.

But to me I think the best option is to open an anonymous account(alt accounts are allowed)that this stalker of yours wouldn't be aware of, this way you can operate on the forum freely, he doesn't have to know your username, and it's very easy to do that in here.
6052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Congress Requests Moratorium on Facebook’s Libra Stablecoin on: July 03, 2019, 09:05:56 PM
I wouldn't use facebook coin, and I don't think anyone should, neither do I use facebook also, I've always been sceptical about their privacy issues, they meddle into absolutely everything and anything.

It'll be no different with the LIBRA, and anonymity may be a mere shadow for anyone who chooses to invest or trade with this coin.
6053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I need some advice on setting up a crypto casino on: July 03, 2019, 08:50:51 PM
It's not so easy to build up a new crypto casino, you'll hardly get any patronizers at the initial stage as there are so many reliable ones that have been in the game longer.
You'll need a good strategy to begin with, you must create a site that users will be relaxed to play on, make it secure, easy to use.
Also the absence of KYC is a big plus.
6054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa América 2019 Discussion Thread & Prediction Pool (registration closed) on: July 03, 2019, 05:58:22 PM
For me Argentina has world class options in the attack but rest the team is nowhere near that level. Add to that the fact that Messi isn't playing defense and quite probably Aguero and Lautaro don't play much defense as well and you get very unbalanced squad
For sure it's obvious they have a world class attacking firepower, but it's also glaring they fumble just as much as the defenders do, take a look at how poor Messi and kun have been all tournament long, with Just two goals between them, it's a poor statistics and I think they are still far off from winning the tournament.

They'll definitely lose their coach and a host of other senior players, so we'll have to see if the new crop of players have the mettle to bring the trophy to Buenos Aires.
6055  Economy / Gambling / Re: LUCKYBOT - THE AI-ENABLED GAMBLING BOT (autopilot, free vouch copy) on: July 03, 2019, 05:45:46 PM
It's glaring that most of all this bot of a thing is of no use and a total waste of time, it cannot predict patterns correctly,it could be lucky one time or the other, but to claim that it's success rate is pretty high is misleading.
If this actually works then OP ought to be a millionaire by now and wouldn't bother sharing on a public forum but to family members and loved ones.
6056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa América 2019 Discussion Thread & Prediction Pool (registration closed) on: July 03, 2019, 11:05:26 AM
I'm only sorry for messi who is likely to finish is international career without a national trophy, but that doesn't mean he's not one of the greatest player to have graced the football pitch.
Totally correct, Messi is undoubtedly the greatest footballer in the history of the beautiful game, not winning an international trophy with Argentina does add a bit of a question mark on such an illustrious career.

Messi really needed to win this tournament, but coming up against Brazil, the tournaments favorite, I knew they were heading home, I feel last night would be his last for his country.
I think history will have it that fge greatest of all time couldn't conquer in the international stage
6057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 03, 2019, 06:35:14 AM
There’s a couple of good teams in this tournament by my god, there are some really crap teams too. Is it just me or are most of the goalkeepers terrible? I’ve seen some really bad goalkeeping so far.
Very true and it's sad really at this stage of football, African football doesn't seem to have developed much, even though there are top quality African players leading their respective European clubs.

I've followed the tournament thus far and I've been far from impressed with what I've seen, I do hope the knock out stages offers much more for we viewers.
Nigeria vs Cameroon
This one is definitely gonna be a cracker, I'm hoping Nigeria comes out on top though.
6058  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠ Fair.Poker | Provably Fair Bitcoin Texas Hold’em | HTML5 | Play Now! on: July 03, 2019, 05:32:49 AM
Anyway, congrats to the team and dev of FairPoker for choosing the best manager here in the forum @ yahoo.
Without a doubt, and it obviously gives their network a bit of integrity considering the fact that they are pretty new on board, it just shows that they are seeking to promote their project on the forum, but not at the detriment of it, as their bounty posters will definitely up their game with yahoo at the helm of affairs.

The site looks smooth, just going through the registration process, no doubt it will be a success in the future.
6059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: July 02, 2019, 09:01:44 PM
when bitcoin is unstable you should not trade anything.
Is bitcoin ever stable?
There are different strategies for different periods in the network, when there is a surge or a plunge, but waiting for stability in this network, I doubt you'll see any.
What OP needs to understand is that day trading is not quite as easy as long term trading, it involves methods and techniques that need to be learnt.
Probably that's what OP is lacking
6060  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: July 02, 2019, 08:24:47 PM
We can't really complain or think that we missed out on something great, even though we actually did, but the truth is that no one actually expected the bitcoin to reach the height it has attained right now, years back it sold for as little as nothing and luck and foresight made some believe and acquired a reasonable amount, which they will forever be grateful they did.

Subsequent years, more and more enthusiasts like myself have flooded in, and I cannot complain about absolutely anything, I wish I was there, but I'm glad I'm here, and i am in for good.
