The Bucks game turned into a blowout but the Suns and Pelicans are neck and neck at the end of the third quarter.  You can really see the Suns missing Booker but Ayton has stepped up in a major way to try and fill the hole.  He's already at 28 and 11 with another quarter to go.

The surprise of the night so far has to be the Hawks beating the Heat 110 to 111.  That keeps them alive as they get their first win in the series and bring it a little closer now at 2-1.

I've always thought the Suns success in the playoffs last year was due to great postseason play by Ayton, so it's great to see him doing big things again.  I hope he can help them hang on for the win in this final quarter...
6062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 22, 2022, 07:40:14 PM
Great idea, only I’m not so sure a lot of athletes (especially UFC fighters) know a lot about crypto. But I guess they have agents or managers or something, who can help them with that. In any case, it’s a good marketing move from crypto.com.
I really salute crypto.com, the money (bitcoin) they spend to pay bonuses for UFC athletes is definitely not small. they are really doing great things to encourage mass adoption. I believe this (paying fighter bonuses with Bitcoin) will have a big impact on the price of bitcoin going forward.

I haven't read how much they'll be paying, but I assumed it wasn't more than the regular bonus and the news is that they can be paid in Bitcoin.  This is probably a bad idea for the fighters to be honest, because the amount of money is small, they'll need it to pay for training, and if the value drops they'll be on the hook for taxes that could potentially be more than the value of the Bitcoin when they cash it out.  I can understand for athletes that make a lot of money a program like this could be great, but these fighters are very publicly underpaid and I doubt many of them can afford to sit on Bitcoin through downtrends without having to cash it out at a loss to pay expenses.  If this was going for athletes like Connor McGregor it would be great, but something tells me Connor won't be accepting any bonuses in Bitcoin for his fights.

Do you want to grow your channel in a completely natural way until you reach the Affiliation or Partnership with Twitch in no time?

You are in the right place!

Feel free to contact us at any time.

I don't mean to be Devil's Advocate here, but isn't what you're describing the exact opposite of growing your channel, "in a completely natural way" as described above.  This seems like the type of thing that people would describe as not growing your channel naturally so I actually thought I'd take the time to point out that ridiculousness.  If you're literally telling a lie in your slogan, do you think that people would trust your service?  That's a serious question.  Another...  If this is growing your channel naturally, what do you consider to be unnatural growth of a twitch channel.  I always assumed it was paying for views like you are offering, but maybe there's some other unnatural way to grow a twitch channel, and if so I'd love to hear it.

It looks like this user is wearing a signature campaign banner.  Why not ask the campaign manager why this user is being paid to degrade the forum?  There are so many trolls here getting paid by campaign managers, I don't understand why everyone blames the users for collecting easy money, or the forum for giving them a platform, but then lets the campaign manager continue doing business as normal when they're literally the ones paying for this plagiarism and degradation of the forum experience.

Going after these users is pointless.  There will just be more popping up to do the same thing.  Expecting the forum to constantly clean this up is also a fool's errand, because no matter how many of these users they ban, there will always be more.  However, campaign managers could end this practice by doing their jobs and not paying users who exist for no other reason than to spam for money.  There are a lot of users on these boards who are actually real people who do real things in crypto (although that number has been dropping for a decade), yet campaigns always seem to be full of spammers...  Add that to the fact that most of the people here are advertising illegal money laundering schemes like coin mixers, and it makes you wonder why signatures haven't been removed completely.  The amount of users using their signatures to advertise their own projects is nearly nonexistent, as it's more profitable to spam some money laundering campaign then it is to actually provide a service here.
6065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lending?Swap?Staking? on: April 22, 2022, 07:23:53 PM
Compared with the lending functions on the market, COMP, maker, and AAVE, what is the difference between them

Are these shitcoins you're asking about?  I think you'll have to dive into the depths of the altcoin forum sections in order to find anyone who knows what the hell you're talking about.  Lending, swap, staking...  These are things that aren't really present in Bitcoin.  You'd need to use centralized services to even get this sort of exposure.  If you're talking about DeFi, Bitcoin doesn't really have much of a DeFi presence that I'm aware of.  I'd love to stand corrected, but this is the sort of thing that would cause too much volume for the network to handle without sending fees so high that the functionality would be useless for most people anyway.  Try hitting that "move" button in the corner and find an altcoin section for this thread and maybe you'll get some good responses.
6066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin today? on: April 22, 2022, 07:19:38 PM

Forget all indicators , sentimental and fundamental discussion! Did any one calculate the theoretical value of BTC and identify its variance from the actual price?

It has admittedly been a long time since I did an analysis of the network, but the last time I did I found a fair value assessment of around $4,000.  Granted that was probably 6 years ago, but I haven't seen any real value additions to give the network more real value since that time.  Sure, there's been a little more adoption and inflation is out of control, so without doing any actual analysis and pulling a number out of my ass, I'd say that the true value of Bitcoin at this point is probably closer to $10,000 than the price we're seeing in the markets today.  This is because everyone is investing so they aren't left behind if true adoption is reached and the valuation skyrockets.  It's a gamble buying Bitcoin, and I think everyone knows that.  The thing with investments is that you're investing in the unknown, not the known.  So the $40,000 valuation we're seeing on exchanges takes into account that people think Bitcoin has a bright future.  Whether or not the actual future is greater or less than expectations will determine if the price rises or falls from here.  Personally, I'm starting to feel like people are forecasting a brighter future than will be realized for Bitcoin, but I do have my fingers crossed.
6067  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: April 22, 2022, 07:13:29 PM
Where you at Do Kwon?  They were promoting the buys fast and furiously when the price was rising...  Now that his purchases are in the red it seems like there isn't a whole lot of praise Do Kwon going on...

I originally heard he was planning to buy 10 billion dollars worth of BTC to back his coin.  Then I was hearing 3 billion, and now I'm hearing that it might be done at less than 2 billion?  Anyone have the latest facts or know where we can find this information straight from the horse's mouth?  It felt more like a pump and dump than him buying a ton of bitcoins on an ongoing basis.  Does anyone track his personal holdings?  Was he selling while his company was buying?  Feels like the way it was overpromoted and he underdelivered, something doesn't quite sit right.  Maybe he's just taking a break from his purchases so he doesn't buy the market up to $55K and lose half his investment in the following month.

6069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [NFT] Gimmicks - Weekly Cartoon Series on: April 22, 2022, 06:26:40 PM
After participating in this project for a little bit I can say that it's got some cool additions to the NFT world that I think are a bit unique.  Besides the cartoon and choose your own adventure angle, there's also something that sounds ridiculous, but is pretty cool.  They have weekly contests with rewards for people who are participating with the sending of "DIC Punches" by giving them free NFTs.  Additionally, they keep stats like who has given out the most "DIC Punches" which makes having an NFT with a lot of punches thrown more valuable.  This is the first time I've seen an NFT project where participation can directly result in you giving your NFT more value.  I think this is a great concept that will eventually be appreciated.  I'm considering it a bit of a proof of concept as it's too ridiculous to be taken too seriously, but if you are into NFTs and don't understand people talking about utility, this is a good example of ways NFTs can have unique utility, in this case allowing users to add value to their NFTs through participation.  Worth a look to see how NFTs are evolving.
6070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 22, 2022, 04:16:13 PM
As the trend continues to be down since the ATH, you have to wonder if we will see the return to $10K that was the accumulation period before the last big jump. Billionaires are buying in and fighting the cyclical trend, but they appear to be losing. With the purchases between Do Kwon and Michael Saylor, I thought we’d be over $50K by now. If those two weren’t buying, we may already be at $10K. I’d be hesitant to make any moves trading one way or the other here, but I think it would be unwise to assume we can’t see a prolonged price decrease for potentially the next year or two that takes us to test the last held support levels.
6071  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Help w/ Casacius Coin - Value, Selling Process, etc. on: April 22, 2022, 04:12:40 PM
You're going to pay off debt with Bitcoin? In this type of inflationary macroeconomic environment? Dude just hold the Bitcoin, and pay off the debt as slowly as possible. If your interest rate is lower than the inflation rate you're actually winning... Hold the Bitcoin until 2036 and you won't need to worry about a credit score

2036 is a long time from now. Even if Bitcoin would make you rich by that point, depending on your age you may need to ask yourself if you’ll be in the best position to enjoy the money in your life. I’d rather be worth a million while I was young than 10 million when I’m old… Just don’t forget to live a little. Paying down debt and giving yourself financial freedom is never a bad thing. Even if you’re leaving some money on the table. The peace of mind and security of being debt free is in my opinion priceless. That’s better to me than a collectible sitting in a safe somewhere.
6072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 22, 2022, 04:08:36 PM
Alright! Cheesy

It seems that the majority here are having a good day after winning the games earlier, congrats guys!
Let's bet again, here is my pick for the games tomorrow and let's see if we can have a streak. Here it is.

Miami Heat -2.0
Chicago Bulls +2.5
Phoenix Suns -1.5

Good luck everyone!

Nice, I'll tail you on the Phoenix and Heat because the I still believe that the Phoenix Suns could still win even if there's no Booker on their current line-up and they may struggle but knowing that CP3 is there then they can always figure something out. While the Miami Heat will have a tough game against the Hawks this time as the series is now 2-0 but Butler can always carry them just like the past 2 games. GL!

It’ll definitely be a test for the Suns with no Booker. As soon as he went out last game the tide turned and the Pelicans immediately took control of the game. With such a small spread at least you can bet them to win that if you’re going to toss money on them, but it’s definitely not a sure thing. I think we’ll be able to tell very early on if the Suns are going to be able to keep up without Booker. Might not be the worst thing to let some time play out and see how the game is going before tossing down a live bet. The Pelicans have to be thinning this is their chance to extend the series and give Zion a chance to come back and help them finish off the Suns. The latest is that Booker may not return this series….
6073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Basketball] Golden State Warriors 2022 NBA CHAMPION campaign discussion on: April 22, 2022, 09:21:35 AM
The Warriors are playing like the Warriors of old.  They got another strong win tonight and it seemed like Steph's minutes were being limited a bit.  Now that they're up 3-0 over the Nuggets, it seems like they should be cruising to some much needed rest for Steph's ankle before the next round.  I'm not sure if they'll win it all, but with Devon Booker out now with his hamstring injury, the path through the West to the Finals is looking like it could be a little easier.  With the Nets losing again, I think there's a pretty good shot we'll be seeing the Bucks and Warriors in the Finals, which I think everyone wants to see if those two teams can stay healthy.
6074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ( NBA ) Nets vs Celtics Game 2 - let's discuss on: April 21, 2022, 04:09:13 PM
After the Game 2 loss the Nets are now saying that Ben Simmons will return on Monday for game 4 of the series. I can’t wait. It’s also looking like Devon Booker is going to miss a couple games because of his hamstring, which opens the door for the Pelicans to possibly extend the series long enough for Zion to return, which is rumored to be a possibility for game 5, which will happen now that the series is tied 1-1. Zion is playing 5 on 5 contact basketball right now, so I honestly think there’s a decent chance we may get to see him play in at least one game before these playoffs are over. That would make a lot of people feel better about Zion’s future with the Pelicans.
6075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 21, 2022, 05:43:12 AM
Impressive for Bulls holding off a Bucks' comeback in the second half. It's also a different DeRozan this time compared to his poor shooting in game 1. Game 3 will be tricky for me as because of injuries to Middleton and Portis. I'll wait for updates before placing a bet on this one. I would most likely pick Bucks if they're all healthy.

I didn’t think the Bulls would be able to beat the Bucks a single game in the series so I’m surprised and impressed. They’ve struggled all year against teams over .500 so for them to beat the Bucks in the playoffs is a pretty huge sign they’re giving it their all. The real story of the night for me was the Nets losing again to Boston. They’re putting themselves at risk of being eliminated. Kyrie and KD both had horrible shooting nights, while Jalen Brown looked like the best player on the floor. I don’t know what the Nets need to do to change the trend, but I know if KD and Kyrie shoot like they did tonight there’s no way they’re beating anyone.
6076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ( NBA ) Nets vs Celtics Game 2 - let's discuss on: April 20, 2022, 03:59:46 PM
I think the Nets have way more talent and game 1 was the result of Durant having a bad start and the team being exhausted at the end of the game. The first part will fix itself as Durant is one of the best players in the world. I think Steve Nash has to take a little blame for the second part. He had a lot of fresh legs sitting on the bench but chose to go with a group of exhausted players that were watching Boston make uncontested layups down the stretch. I’m excited for game 2 as game 1 was great, but I think with some simple adjustments the Nets should be able to win big in game 2 so long as Durant isn’t home celebrating 4/20 right now.
6077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 20, 2022, 04:35:25 AM
Who’s watching the match between the Pelcs and Suns? Currently on 3rd quarter break while Pelc is leading with 7pts. It’s a good opportunity to put a live bet for Suns since they has a high chance to comeback on this game. I already place my bet with -4.5 Suns with good odds. I hope Suns will continue to pressure attacking Pelcs on last quarter.

That was a great game. Once Booker went down with hamstring soreness everything changed. I hope he’s fine for the next game. I think he will be after some treatment. Brandon Ingram was just great tonight. That might be the best game of his career. A shame he couldn’t get one more assist for his first triple double. He showed he’s capable of carrying a team tonight as they beat the #1 seed at home (Phoenix). Definitely keeping things interesting. Every game this series extends there’s a better chance we’ll get to see Zion play this postseason, which is something I’ve been hoping for.
6078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 19, 2022, 09:58:51 PM
Before the playoffs started I was thinking the Nets would probably take it all this year. I don’t think that anymore. Unless Ben Simmons comes back and fits in, they’re going to struggle going forward. The Warriors though are playing great. They seem like they have a real chance this year to prove their dynasty was only on hold while their stars got healthy. The Bucks always have a chance to win with Giannis on the floor, but I think the Warriors match up well with them. As of today, I don’t think any teams outside of the Bucks/Nets/Warriors have a good shot at being NBA Champions.
6079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: About mining ETH and holding BTC on: April 19, 2022, 07:48:29 PM
Does it make sense to mine ETH and get paid in BTC? Any advantage to value here? Something that the Nicehash platform has to offer, Is anyone still using this platform?

I think it does.  When I was mining ETH directly I found that it wasn't a great experience due to the lack of control over withdrawals without paying crazy fees.  I also hold substantially more BTC than ETH and would like that trend to continue.  It makes no sense for me to mine ETH directly, pay a transfer fee to an exchange, trade for BTC, then pay another withdrawal fee to get it into my wallet.  It's much easier to just mine on Nicehash and withdraw the funds whenever you feel like it.  Besides being easier, it's cheaper and you have more control as well.  Granted, ETH has outperformed BTC in recent times, so you probably would have been better buying and holding ETH, you can also get a better return % on your ETH from staking, but I still go with BTC.  Just weigh the pros and cons and go with what you think is best.
6080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 19, 2022, 07:26:10 PM
Yes, that's why James Harden forced himself to get out from the team because they are supposed to be a big three but it ended up as a big disaster because Harden was left out to carry the burden after Durant was injured and then they have Kyrie who only play road games because of his beliefs or whatsoever that kept him from getting vaccinated.

However, I would agree that those things already belonged in the past and the important thing now is that they managed to get in the playoff season. I believe Celtics will always give them a hard time and that's good because they need to prove themselves more if they are really worth it to claim the championship this season as they are one of the favorites to win.

Anyways, Ben Simmons is looking forward to play next week and the Nets have already started to get him included in their practice so that he won't be that rusty as his last game was almost a year already.

NBA Rumors: Ben Simmons Could Make His Nets Debut 'Within The Next Week'

He needs to play now, adding good defense while Kyrie and Durant are doing the damages for their offense, looking to see if they will

click together with Drummond, and Curry. Nets need someone to give tough defense and knowing Simmons' capabilities, he was one of those

best two-way player, but personally he doesn't need to bring the ball and create his shots more on defensive stopper he can matchup with either

Brown or Tatum.

Agreed.  I think Simmons will be vital on defense if he can get back in time to play this series.  I'm sure he'll be a bit out of the rotation on offense, but he's not exactly a shooter so he'll probably be bringing the ball up and trying to penetrate then kick out to an open shooter.  It shouldn't be too hard to get him worked in, but you never know.  I don't know if he's really coming back from injury or just trying to get back into shape.  He might be severely limited in his minutes as a result of either.  I want to see him do well though.  I think the Nets have a great team and I think at this point I'm hoping for a Nets/Warriors matchup in the finals.
