6061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smile-to-pay - facial payment technology in China on: September 10, 2019, 10:58:14 AM
There's always a bad side and good side of every technology, you are tend to emphasize here more the bad side which you are correct, they can always use this for surveillance, same with what is the government is doing to us, but that's the trend now, people usually value the convenience over the possible risk.

I'm not familiar with this technology but this will surely be more successful due to the convenience it will bring.
People would think it's cool but those who have enough knowledge and are curious on the negative side, they sure will study the bad side, and might adopt.
Well, as for me, I'm still with crypto being anonymous although we can't seem to enjoy that in the long run.

6063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 10, 2019, 07:54:07 AM
It is not easy at all and I think it is quite impossible to earn a living from gambling. When I was young and still studying in college I worked a few months in a sport betting and horse races casino.
It's not easy but it's not impossible, and only there are people who are extremely lucky in sports betting.
Like this one, https://nypost.com/2018/05/07/woman-wins-1-2-million-on-18-horse-racing-bet/

When I was new in sports betting, I really love to experiment and I even have accounts in every popular sports betting forum because I'm really interested to develop the skills the passion in me to be a sports gambler as I think it's a cool job back then, but like majority of people who tried, I think I also failed.

I saw people who claim to be making a living from gambling and stayed there from morning to evening but what I saw was that these persons got divorced, lost their jobs and started to borrow money,in other words was the end of their life.
That's not a good example of making a living in gambling, winning sometimes does not mean they can make a living, they need to be consistent and they need to probe that they are living a life without financial problem.
6064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 10, 2019, 07:29:57 AM
If you get retired because you are old, than you will most likely better stay retired.
I think it's not about the age of a player, it's his own decision making whether he comes back or not, the passion of basketball is one of the reasons and not just money also. Like Wade, he is one of the highest paid athlete in the NBA with a net worth of $120 million as per https://wealthygorilla.com/dwayne-wade-net-worth/, so I he wants to just fully enjoy his retirement, he doesn't need to come back as he has a lot of money to enjoy it.

Wade is not old IMO, he is still athletic at his age, but he decide to retire for certain reasons that he only know.
As a player, their life does not only focus in basketball, they also have a lot of things that they like to do especially with their family.

Only LogitechMouse will see the feedback given by Daboy but not other members since Daboy is not a DT member.
I don't know how you can avoid seeing that because in the trust setting, there's only trust list and you can also distrust if you have previously trust the member, pardon me, I'm not so familiar with how the trust setting works.

This is not true. Untrusted feedbacks are hidden by default on everyones profile but any member can still view it. Simply click the "show ratings" and you will see them all. In Logitec's case, Daboy never really left him a feedback that's why nothing can be seen. Refer to the images below:

Thanks for correcting me.
6066  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May tax ba ang Cryptocurrency? on: September 10, 2019, 02:54:33 AM
For typical person who don't have enough knowledge about different taxes, that's understandable that they only know the world tax and its meaning.
In crypto, we don't know what the type of tax will be impose here because there is no proper guidance yet.

Everyone would love to know if there is but until now, no members yet have shared about the proper tax treatment on our income online.
Until then, maybe we have no choice now but just to enjoy fully what we earn without worrying of tax violation since we are not aware if there's any.

6068  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bakkt Exchange Launching!!! on: September 09, 2019, 12:01:45 PM
This is a good news but I believe it will have more big impact in the long run than the short term.
Hype is gone for Bakkt I believe as they postponed many times their launch, if this happens in 2018, this could help a lot, but this year, I'm not expecting too much for this launch.

We need a fresh news hat will hype the market and let the Bakkt Exchange and other big exchanges to cater the liquidity and we will see a bubble like growth again. Though people have matured and learn already in their past experience, but I still believe we will be able to witness another bull run like in the past because FOMO is still possible.
6069  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May tax ba ang Cryptocurrency? on: September 09, 2019, 11:49:28 AM

I mean tax evasion.

First of all, hindi pa naman lumalagpas ang kinita ko dito sa 200K. In fact, nasa 150K lang ang kinita ko last year (whole year na yan). Another thing, there is no valid law or bill stated yet na mayroong direct tax ang freelancers (as I remember when I had read about taxes). Actually, we can say that we are all paying tax eh, indirect tax nga lang. Ito yung pagbabayad natin ng tax through withdrawal in any remittances. But direct tax only applies for those who have monthly salary atleast 20K.
Those are income tax from salary, and what we earn in the forum is not considered as salary, therefore it's not covered by the rules and regulation under the salary income tax.

With regards to taxes when withdrawing our money through remittance, I don't think we are paying taxes on that, it's just a charge that we are paying.
IMO, if we are unemployed and we don't have business on our own, and we just rely on what we are making online, the tax that we are only paying are the VAT which is already included every time we purchase a product or pay for services.
I agree, just like what I am saying there is no yet a law discussing about the tax of freelancer. Maybe soon, but regarding with our payment sir in the remittances we can consider it also as a tax since it is a burden to us. We can call it as indirect tax or VAT because we pay for their services. Therefore, we are paying tax pa din. Indirect nga lang po.
In every business that is profit oriented, they always charge us since that is the lifeblood of their business, if they won't charge us, they will just operate for free and who will take care of their operating expenses. We should not be mislead between charges and tax because they are different, and I believe there is no such thing as indirect tax because it is specified every time we pay for something, if that is not specified, we called that hidden charges, not taxes or whatsoever.

6070  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (HISTORY/SUMMARY) on: September 09, 2019, 08:12:31 AM

That's the right thing to do, just move on and learn from your mistake, if you continue to lend money, there's still a possibility that you will have a delinquent borrower, that's part of the risk. I suggest you limit the amount you lend, don't trust so much even if a member is highly trusted, it's still an unsecured loan, you cannot go after a person if he will not pay, all you can do is ruin his account but if the borrower does not value his account anymore, you still loss here.

Maybe allow only borrowers that are hero up, that way, they won't just scam for 0.005 because they know the market value of their account if they are going to sell it. I'm not saying they'll have to, but there's a possibility that they could sell their account at a higher amount.

It's another unpopular new trading site maybe,  I was able to browse on the site, but it will not direct you to their trading platform, they require you to sign up first. I was just trying to see the trading pairs and the volume, that's how I evaluate the site at first, but this one does not allow.

This exchange according to the site is registered in .

6073  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sell BTC to Dollars with and without limits in Bittrex on: September 06, 2019, 10:49:04 PM
Your statement seem to be complicated, based on what I understand with what you like to happen here are the following.

1) you want to sell your BTC at a higher price because obviously you are talking of price over the current price. If your target is $13,000 then have a sell order at $13K and wait until it will be successfully filled.

2) since you want to sell in USD, you need to verify your account at Bittrex, then link your bank account so you will be able to withdraw your USD the moment your sell order will be filled.
6074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 06, 2019, 10:14:19 PM
The problem with Knicks is that they got Porzingis which was a great young player that could make a difference but got rid of him. I mean the whole point of tanking (in this case just being purely bad) you end up getting too draft picks, Knicks literally denied to do their "process" properly and they have sucked so far.

They got some young kids from free agency and trades but that is not enough really, you have to actually make them play in a good system so that they can actually get better, you could potentially get Lebron James at 18 and then manage to keep him for 10+ years without actually using him like you should and he would have never been the player he is. That's why Knicks should first get a decent coach before anything and then a decent GM.

Porzingis expressed his desire to play elsewhere so the knicks got something for him rather than just lose him in free agency and get nothing.  He also had a major injury and for a 7 footer to have an acl injury like that carries risk.  I was happy we got something for him.  Hopefully those picks can help us build a team.  And if you are looking to get a new coach and gm, you get the gm first not the coach, but they just got a new coach.  Need to see what he can do with a decent squad before we move on again from another coach.

Porzingis was sensational, but the injury is a big problem why they tank last season.

Looking at his statistics : https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/porzikr01.html
Tha games he played his decreasing, and probably the main reason is injury.

For the 3 seasons with knicks, he played.

2015-16 72 games , 2016-17 66 games , 2017-18 48 games
With that stats, that is not helpful to any team, although in the later season his points averaged has increase.

6075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: September 06, 2019, 10:01:22 PM
This rematch is just a formality that the time of Andy Ruiz holding the belt is over. I can't see a chance that he would win the rematch as Joshua will be more careful this time and he need not to slug it out with Ruiz, just score points and he will win the fight.

That's likely what he is going to do because he knows Ruiz has a short reach and move slowly, he cannot slug it out with Ruiz, because Ruiz is strong has fast hands, the worst thing that he'll do is to slug it out with Ruiz, if he can do that he can win by decision, but he is a challenger and a challenger should bring the fight to the champion and not the other way around.

I think Joshua will try to slug it out with Ruiz but he will be more careful this time. Last fight his left hand is down in the early rounds that's why Ruiz is hitting him 1-2 before he will move. So that's one adjustment that Joshua will do in this rematch. He needs to take it to Ruiz and should let his hands go more and be active if he wanted to win by decision and be the aggressor.
Joshua already feel how strong Ruiz is, he doesn't need to fight toe to toe, he just have to play smart as the advantage is already in him.
The height, the length, and the speed, he all has that in him, it's just left to him on how he manage himself to win this fight, it doesn't need to be convincing, he just need to win this rematch in any way.

Who are watching Iran vs Angola now?

Angola is leading but Iran is still the favorites here with 1.35 ML and -5.5 in my sportsbook.
I've seen Angola played against the Philippines and I'm not impressed, I'm think of taking Iran at -5.5 here or maybe -6.5 to get an odds over 2.00 with price boost. Thoughts?
6077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: September 06, 2019, 08:44:26 AM
I use to believe this that BNB is going to rule alts but he main question is if Binance exchange stops functioning, then BNB has no usercase and we all know what will happen
BNB now has its own chain, that alone is a big improvement.
Now, to you question, if Binance will stop functioning? I think that's possible but least likely to happen, it's similar to saying what if facebook stop functioning, or what if amazon stops?

Exchange is their main business and the reason why BNB had success, so do you think they will allow that to happen?, of course not, obvious answer right.
Maybe it's possible that CZ will die, but there's always a person who are ready to step for him to continue the business.

I cant wait for GRE vs USA... never forget, we were the ones to beat the US guys in their last loss many years ago! Cheesy I even think their play style may suit us (GIANNIS to be exact). =)

I think I'm going to place by bet on Giannis and his squad.
The current line looks very attractive for the Greece which is 4.40 while the USA is only 1.21.

Will also add +8.5 for Greece, in case they mess up a bit, but I believe at least they will be able to cover this line.

Actually I'm not impressed with the coin he is promoting but I look on the other side.
Now this clearly shows that he will support crypto so if crypto will be fully regulated in the Philippines, we have a guy that is pro crypto who can help us.
I am not only talking about him supporting because he has relatives who are politicians also who were elected in congress if I'm not mistaken.
6080  Economy / Services / Re: Betting Arbitrage on: September 05, 2019, 11:39:17 AM
I'm aware that Betting Arbitrage arbitrage has no risk at all, however, I'm also aware that it's hard to trust our money to other people to do this for us.
You are getting a subscription fee for this which I doubt normal, the fact that you know how to do this thing, you should already do this own your own and enjoy a big amount of winning.

Honestly, I'm rather pay for a premium pick in sports betting than paying for the subscription fee in betting Arbitrage as I haven't seen someone offers this kind of service in the forum that gain a lot of followers.
