6081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about 2018 ICOs on: January 06, 2018, 08:26:34 PM
Hello
What is your opinion about the ICOs of the new year
If we can find new good idea or ICOs will die

I am on the bounty campaign for goNetwork and I also intend to invest on it. There is plenty of community involvement and it comes from a team that has had previous success in the blockchain arena.
6082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICOs become regulated in Europe? on: January 05, 2018, 01:33:32 PM
Do you think we will see certain restrictions investing in ICOs for European based investors? I'm considering to go full time focusing on ICOs investments and it would be a shame if ICOs become banned. Thank you for sharing your opinion on this, much appreciated

It is very much needed, but I am afraid that whenever it comes it will be simply to ensure tax paying and avoid money laundering but not to ensure proper governance which is what I think is needed after taking part in a few ICOs.
6083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $300 to invest - Hit or miss on: January 05, 2018, 01:30:47 PM
I have $300 to invest. Looking for making an insane amount of money. I know its greed, but $300 isn't going to change my life if I lose it.
But if I am able to pick the right crypto and hit the jackpot it will sure change my life and also the lives of people who are dependent on me.

That is pretty much the same reasoning that many people have for investing. You can actually do quite a lot with 300 but it would probably be safer if you played it slow and smart, because trying to just hit the jackpot is likely to end up with 0 balance.
6084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: January 05, 2018, 01:28:29 PM
There is so much bad information on Tezos. and what is the real situation? Is the project stuck and declining? Can someone explain it in details?
Don't worry it's a donation you can opt for plastic research to clean the ocean with all your monies..

At least the TEZOS founders don't get any monies not 1 bit or they go to jail for charity fraud..
OPT for another charity Wink..

The way those conditions for participation were written should have raised all the red flag warning on anyone who had bothered to read it. I think is on the edge of legality to pretend this was ever a charity.
6085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: January 05, 2018, 01:26:31 PM
This project was just really over hyped and nothing more.

Probably and it is not the only one. But there is something positive about hype if the team is able to manage it adequately. A strong community can do a lot for you. Some other projects like Quantstamp understood that very well.
6086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What happens with WAX token sale? on: January 04, 2018, 12:39:41 PM
Can't find an official ann thread of WAX token sale. It is strange that such a big project doesn't have its own ann thread.

Oh, here is it https://wax.io/ You can trade Opskins on it, whatever that is. I did invest a bit just out of curiosity, bit I a not big into this one.
For what I see, now you can trade cryptokitties on it LOL

How is that possible? I though that cryptokitties had their own specific site. Has this exchange reached an agreement with the original creators or is it just a clone site or a "copycat" - note the irony Smiley

Even if the sale was not a smooth one, it seems that the market for digital goods is one to watch in the future. At the end of the day, people are engaged by thing that are fun and social.
6087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Your best ICO experience on: January 04, 2018, 12:37:25 PM
Hi. I have participated in some ICOs. Some of them were really bad, including lies or half truths, harrasing users that made questions on telegram, changing the terms on the fly... But I would like to know what people think is the right way to conduct ana ICO.
Welcome to cryptoworld brother and experiencing these kind of things which is normal knowing that not all ICO are legit ones and some do handle it on unprofessional way which you can really make your own indications if its a good project or not. By just seeing their attitude or on how they do handle thing you can able to know on what kind of project they do have. They act shady then better to leave and don't invest.

It is indeed a new world. I think that it will eventually have certain regulations. At the moment, the only thing that we can do to protect ourselves it to speak out about the teams and companies that cheated so they donŽt ever get funding again.
6088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 04, 2018, 12:34:30 PM
Just wondering if ETH can

Just for the sake of speculation, any value is possible for Etehreum. I like to think in terms of market caps or total value rather of in price of individual units. The market is now growing and any prediction is valid.
6089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Your best ICO experience on: January 03, 2018, 09:52:18 PM
I got the most profit from electroneum It gave me nearly 9 times the lounge.
I think the future of electroneum is much better. So we have kept all the coins in stock.

While electroneum gave profit, the ICO itself was not a good experience. The coins got locked for safety reasons and the promise of a mobile wallet was delayed more than a month. The coin could have been a much better success.

I have invested small amount in lot of ICO because ICO investment is too risky so I just want to try the things with some ICO.Now I have some dimcoins,VLB tokens and GEX coins.I think none of them listed on the exchanges so i have to wait until that.Once it listed on exchange I will decide what to do.

I think you just hit the point. Something that is apparently simple, like launching a ICO that is good for all participants, does not have a hidden agenda and safeguards the interests of the investors is rare and thus even when you find one you like you refrain yourself from going full speed to it out of fear.
6091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about 2018 ICOs on: January 03, 2018, 09:42:19 PM
I would like to recommend two ICOs. The first one is GoNetwork, a great opportunity to participate on a project by a great team. The second one is Ink, co-financed by Y Combinator. If you want to take part on these you need to hurry as it is likely that they will be oversubscribed. Just join the whitelist. For Ink, use www.paywithink.com and referral code "BPRT" if you want. For goNetwork see my signature.
6092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Y Combinator invested company is going pre-sale. Slots limited. on: January 03, 2018, 10:25:58 AM
Registrations are now open for the whitelist of the INK PROTOCOL, a company invested in by Y Combinator and other significant players in the tech arena.  This project is a payment protocol for peer-to-peer marketplaces, a multi-million dollar market and has an already existing marketplace that will serve as a quickstarter for adoption.

The link for the project is https://paywithink.com/

As always, please, do your own research. YouŽll find out this is a good one and you can catch it in pre-sale. My feeling is that it will be heavily oversubscribed and allocations will be limited to the ones that join early.

I have this referal code that you may want to use in the White List form. That way we get a better tier (better discount).

Referral: BPRT

6094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Phyiscal or online wallet? on: January 02, 2018, 05:08:13 PM
Hi there,

Where is the best to store 10 different altcoins? On physical device or online?

Can I store on physical device let's say my own USB flash drive?

I do not think there is any wallet out there that suits your needs directly. If i were you, I would definetly try the USB option for cold storage. I assume that you wonŽt be trading often?
6095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about 2018 ICOs on: January 02, 2018, 05:04:40 PM
Hello
What is your opinion about the ICOs of the new year
If we can find new good idea or ICOs will die

It has been said that some of the larger companies, blue chips and all, have already taken a look into this new way of finance and may have very large ICOs. I think that the best of 2018 has not arrived yet at all.
6096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta sucks on: January 02, 2018, 05:03:01 PM
How to use it? Me never load in full  "volume", "Order book", "Trade" and "Price chart"...I see only spining circle.

It is not only that it is difficult to use, it is also that it is extremely dangerous because it executes the orders blindly. Just try sending a sell order with one less zero. It will execute with no warning and you would buy something a x10 the price.
6097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IRS taxing cryptocurrency trades starting Jan. 1st. on: January 02, 2018, 04:59:52 PM
Well the IRS would be US, so it should at least affect the US exchanges.

I would say that it affects only US citizens. I work with US exchanges but I am resident in a different jurisdiction, so IRS has no right to impose taxes on me at all. I hope that they also tax shares and funds.
6098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help with masternode decision) on: January 02, 2018, 04:57:54 PM
Hey all!

So, I have been looking for some nice masternode options in crypto. Considering as many factors as possible I tried to find the best possible candidates for my budget. Still its hard to make a final decision and pick one. So I hope some more educated and experienced ppl here could help me! Feel free to post any decisions, ideas and critique. Thanks!

Innova
Vivo
Pure
Bitcloud
Obsidian
Divi

To be honest, I donŽt even know any of this coins. If you have some money to invest why donŽt you try to be a node of XEM or lease Waves? These are well known and give decent returns and growth.
6099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 02, 2018, 04:55:23 PM
Just wondering if ETH can
There are two ways of thinking about this: ether rising faster than bitcoin or bitcoin going down and ether catching up. I know that as today this is a crazy though, but I think bitcoin is going to loose value during 2018 in relative terms and even in absoulte term due to the large ammount of projects built on ethereum.
6100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some promising altcoin, which are not pumped yet? on: January 02, 2018, 04:53:22 PM
I am so mad, i could have much more profit when hold my coins (for instance lend, phore, kcs, i sold them 2x gain, now 10x every coin)
U could suggest me promising coins which are not pumped?

Oh, I am sure that everyone in here has a recipee, but I would say that Onion and Electroneum could become much better in price than they are at the moment. If you want shitcoins that could, maybe, perhaps become good... try sumocoin or karbowanec.
