Yeah, posting referral links on Bitcointalk isn't allowed. You won't get banned for it, just your posts will be deleted. So, I promote affiliate links indirectly. All these referral links is uploaded to my blog, and here on Bitcointalk just post links to my blog.
What if someone leave affiliate links directly in their profile page? They do not post affiliate links, so they will not get deleted posts, but how they will be treated if they won't get bans, as you wrote?
You can leave affiliate links in your signature, profile and etc, it will be ok. It's only not allowed to leave direct ref links in your posts.
@DdmrDdmr, offcourse, if someone will post a lot of ref links like using spam bot, offcourse he is risking to get temporary and maybe even permanent ban. But nobody will ban just for few posted affiliate links. It will be deleted same like shitposts, off-topic posts and etc.
6083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 19, 2019, 10:17:50 PM
Less than 2 weeks left until World Cup, and there is risk in the air that Nigeria might not participate in it. Simply because they don't have money to travel to China. Ridiculous...
https://sportando.basketball/en/nigeria-participation-to-the-world-cup-at-risk-over-lack-of-funds/

It is just different mentality.

I don't know how it is in other parts of the world, but here in Europe national team  is something very important to everyone that likes the sport. So it is normal that those players, that are raised in those countries also  care about the national team and success, knowing how much joy they can bring, and how much  people in their countries  care.I currently live in Athens, and even though i'm not Greek, it is hard not to admire how people here love watching their basketball team, everything  stops when Greece plays.

And that is why both Giannis and Jokic will play for their national teams despite heavy schedule last season, injury risks etc.And same thing Nowitzki did for years before them. While Nikos Galis was on another level, refusing an offer to play with Celtics and win few titles so he can keep playing for Greece.

I agree about different mentality. Stars like Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki, now Jokic, Giannis and others never say no for the national team, unless they have injuries. Here in Europe it's honour to play for the national team and represent your country. Trophy or medal with national team might be biggest achievement in player's career. In US national team isn't such big, everything is about NBA here. But I think if other teams would give better competition for US in World Cup and Olympics, their attitude soon might change.
6084  Economy / Services / Re: IPTV Strong UK, seeing is believing grab a 24 hour trial today! on: August 19, 2019, 09:17:27 PM
Sorry, I forgot to leave feedback yesterday. So, better later than never Smiley
You have probably all UK channels for everyone's taste, but there is some Spanish, Italian and other channels as well. Most of channels works well. But some sports channels doesn't work well during live events. I tried to watch Chelsea - Leicester match yesterday on channels like Sky Sports Main Event, but it was almost impossible to watch it due to lag - it was like slideshow.
Also, some of your HD channels probably are streamed in compressed bitrate, because it looked like SD channel.
6085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 19, 2019, 09:08:39 PM
I had prediction United to win 2:1. I backed them because I thought that Wolves might focus on upcoming Europa league qualifier against Torino on Thursday. Not a best schedule for them - match against MU on Monday and against Torino on Thursday.
It was terrible week for me - I got just 5 points in total and dropped by 9 positions to 15th place. But still, long way to go, I hope that I still can recover.

When someone asks how we can earn money on Bitcointalk, signature campaigns is the first thing which comes to our minds usually. Yeah, it's good way to earn some money, but there are much wore ways to earn money here. You only have to be creative. Sell your own services - design, coding, writting of articles and etc. Sell goods on marketplace. Promote your own business. For example if you have online store and accept Bitcoin as payment method, it can be interesting for forum users.
Personally, here I promote my own blog (link to it under my username). I get some traffic from Bitcointalk and I earn affiliate commission from websites that I promote on my blog, I also earn from advertisements placed on my site. So, as you can see there so many ways how you can make money in Bitcointalk.
I have never thought of earning income from website link (as affiliate link). Is this method eligible because I know that posting refferal links inside posts might lead to bans. What I know is refferal links only (I could miss other eligible places) inside signature is acceptable.

To sum it all up, only #12 - nanaimogold is the only active account up until today. I wonder how much bitcoin he is holding right now.  Tongue
And I doubt it. Check this

Week 11
Twitter Campaign
<snip>

If this is the original owner then I guess he does not have much Bitcoin in hold or we would not see him running after useless bounty hunting :-P
And it's sad to see such thing - one of the oldest forum account's now is used by random guy who just bought it for bounty spamming. It's more than obvious that account changed hands. I hardly can imagine early Bitcoin user spamming useless bounties Cheesy
About deleted accounts, it would be interesting to know they are deleted. Because I don't know any recent cases when Bitcointalk account was deleted. Maybe there is archived versions of Bitcointalk is available somewhere and it's possible to find usernames and more information about these accounts.
6088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 18, 2019, 09:47:27 PM
Damn what a game. Serbia won after overtime even without Jokic. Everyone is talking about Giannis and how good he is. But I want to talk about Bogdanovic, he is amazing too - 28 points tonight. And Giannis today earned one stupid foul during overtime when Serbian player threw  3-pointer. It was one of key moments during overtime.
And I'm impressed to see performance of Thanasis Antetokounmpo - 17 points and clutch three pointer which led game to the overtime.
By the way, who was the guy with that nasty-looking knee injury, I couldn't catch his name?
Ioannis Athinaiou. ACL injury. He will miss not only World Cup, but also almost all upcoming season...
6089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 18, 2019, 09:30:11 PM

Are there no great young players on Barca squad? Why not promote them instead of looking for players to buy?
Sometimes I wonder why these clubs have their young squad or school if they never use the players in the end.

There's Puig, Oriel, Alena who are promising young talents. But the board has not been as efficient in managing young talents as it did a decade ago. Xavi Simon's was lost to PSG recently and others as well. The team now wants to buy talent rather than build.
I agree with your thoughts. Who is the last player from academy who plays in starting squad of Barca? Sergi Roberto? There is so many academy talent wasted in recent years and hundreds millions spent in transfer market. And many times these millions been wasted. Alena, Puig is very talented player, but there is no guarantees that they will become future of Barca.
But I'm not concerned much about loss of Simmons. Yeah, he is great talent, but when 16 old teenager lesves team just to get a bit more money, it shows that not everything is ok with his attitude. But knowing that his agent is Mino Raiola it's not surprising...

Betis loss cost me some money. They got very early red card and weren't able to play good football against Valladolid. Not the best day for me, because also bet on Chelsea win earlier today. Hope thst at least Atletico will win. 20 minutes left and they're leading just 1:0.
6090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 18, 2019, 06:55:47 PM
Anyone got any joy from last night's games? I stupidly thought Aberdeen could turn the 2nd leg around, so added them to my Astana/Rangers parlay (which were comfortably won both)... but then after the sending off they just couldn't muster any attacks.

Wolves had themselves another goal fest so I hope this gives them confidence to score a lot more on the next EPL match -- I got Diogo Jota down as a scorer!

They earned a meeting with Torino, who'll be much tougher. Anyone know where to place Outright Winner bets now? I'd love to put a tenner on Wolves!

Yeah, because my teams Suduva beat Maccabi for the second and reached play-off round third year in a row. This time they will face Ferencvaros, finally it's opponent that we can beat and reach group stage for the first in country history.
I made one stupid bet - it's Torino win against Shaktyor. I forgot that they won first game 4:0 and didn't thought that they might play not full power.
Wolves - Torino is 50/50 match, and it's shame that one of these teams won't play in group stage. Same like Eintracht or Strasbourg. While we will see one tiny club - Ararat or Dudelange in the group stage...
6091  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] Yobit Signature Campaign / Sr. Member- Legendary on: August 18, 2019, 06:44:31 PM
How much does it cost to run an ad on coinmarketcap?
By visiting CMC, saw that ads as well and checked but it came from google ads. Now I wonder how on earth google review yobit as a legitimate site that they are included on their so-called strict rules towards crypto ads Roll Eyes
They have also bought ad spot from Coinamrketcap at the top of website:

There is no public price list of CMC ad spots, you have to contact them through Google Forms:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6ODdnuzoPUe1PxDwGxq0HK9GSEkyzIQQgrVa1k_dxqDdlqQ/viewform
But this thing doesn't prove that OP is official Yobit account. As Quicseller said there are so many fake Yobit accounts on various platforms.
As I remember in past Yobit also advertised on Coinmarketcap (on Bitcointalk ad slots too), so it doesn't prove that they ''expanded their marketing budget''

6092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 18, 2019, 03:33:17 PM
I started to gamble (or bet on sports to be precise) with fiat, because back then I didn't knew about Bitcoin. And I suppose there wasn't many bitcoin sportsbooks back then. When I started, I was under 18 years old, but it wasn't an issue. I remember using sportsbook which didn't asked for KYC when you play with small money.
Now I'm still using fiat sportsbooks because usually they have more events and bets to offer.
You should actually also check out sports betting for crypto, did you know that the odds are a way lot better using crypto than using fiat? I have seen this in almost every bet I took (Except for promotional ones which are of course not countable).

Oh and about IP block, just use VPNs, that is fine.
I haven't noticed such thing. Usually odds are pretty much same, some times it's better a bit, sometimes it's worse, but difference is insignificant.
6093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 18, 2019, 02:58:14 PM

Yes, bad news for Greece is the injury of Sloukas so we depend heavily on Giannis and Calathes... Still, if those two have a great day, I think we can beat anyone. Huge test vs Serbia indeed, their lineup is impressive!
It's huge loss for Greece. Sloukas is one of the best players in Greece. And yeah, it means that Greece will now depend on Calathes and mainly Giannis even more. But I think one problem for Greece may be that your squad isn't very deep. When bench players will have to play, or there will be fouls problem, it might be an issue for your team.
Guys, if you will want to watch Greece - Serbia match, live stream will be available on Youtube later today:

6094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: pay on the web with bitcoin on: August 18, 2019, 12:16:32 PM
Bitpay is the most popular payment gateway, so probably they aren't so bad as you describe them. But I wasn't aware about KYC thing. Require buyers to pass KYC - it sounds very bad. KYC for sellers is something what I would understand, and probably it's needed thing. But for buyers - if I would have to pass KYC just to buy something using Bitpay, I would simply wouldn't buy and would move to another web store.
Since when popular means not being bad?
Well, I mean that if Bitpay would be so bad, so many people wouldn't use it and just would move somewhere else.

I don't have any experience with BTCPay, so I can't recommend it. But from what I see, it can be really great alternative.
You literally just said you wouldn't buy and move to another web store. How the heck does that equal to "great alternative"? There are WAY (waaaay) better options. They aren't a great alternative. They should actually be boycotted by everyone in the community and other alternatives must be suggested to every ecommerce that uses them.
You missunderstood me a bit. I didn't recommend BTCPay because I don't have personal experience with it and I can't vouch for them. But I looked at their website and I got impression that it might be good alternative.
And about moving to another web store - I said it about Bitpay, not BTCPay. I would move to other web store if Bitpay would ask to pass KYC when I try to buy something.

Where is Bitpay good? Please do not suggest this shitservice. They were always bad already, but now they just announced they require KYC for some purchases. Yes... the user buying the products need to provide his ID photos and social security number to use Bitcoin and buy stuff. I'm surprised more people don't suggest BTCPay, which is pro-Bitcoin, is self-hosted and has lightning support.

38 years old Bilbao legend Adurit won game for Bilbao by scoring goal of the season. It's f*cking amazing.
Today I can't recognize Barcelona. They played low quality football without nothing dangerous in attack. Griezmann was too passive and he just waited till someone will pass him ball. Rafinha probably was best player on the pitch tonight and shows that something is wrong with current Barcelona.
6099  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] Yobit Signature Campaign / Sr. Member- Legendary on: August 16, 2019, 10:33:50 PM
I advice for everyone not to join this campaign. It's not just because of reputation of this exchange, but mainly because this campaign is fake. It's most likely that OP account isn't controlled by Yobit support, so probably you'll end by wasting your time and advertising Yobit for free. I think that if Yobit would really relaunch their campaign, they would announce it on their Twitter like they did last time.
6100  Economy / Services / Re: IPTV Strong UK, seeing is believing grab a 24 hour trial today! on: August 16, 2019, 10:27:45 PM
I would be interested to get free trial of your IPTV. £30 per year is very cheap price, but maybe do you have monthly plans? Personally, I don't like long term IPTV subscriptions because even with most trusted providers shit happens sometimes - service can be shutdown by copyright owners at any moment or owner of service can make exit scam. So, I prefer to extend my subscription every month if I satisfied with service.
