6081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 13, 2017, 07:57:20 AM
No I do not feel shameful for it at all because its something that I love to do and I never do it with large amounts.

I don't feel shameful for being a gambler because it hasn't discredit me as a person and gambling is not a crime  which i commited all I just wanted is fun and stress reliever unless I steal the bitcoin I used to gamble, that's probably shameful feelings. As long as you enjoyed playing for good purposes without being addicted and you can manage well with self control then nothing to shame with.

Yes me either, why would I feel shame with it if I'm just gambling for fun and sometimes hoping for a small amount of winning. I don't even commit any illegal or criminal act upon my gambling. And the most important thing is that, every time I gamble, I don't ask someone to give me money that I will gamble, it all came from my pocket.

you will be ashame of being a gambler if you are using money that didn't come from your pocket, like your parents money given to you for your allowances. if you doing that thing and didn't feel a little bit of shame, i think there is a little bit problem on that person. Being a gambler is actually a bad image because of money involvement but it is just a case to case basis because all people have different point of view in each situation.
So you think that it is bad to generazlie that gambling is bad?
I know your question is not for me, but in general I would say gambling is not bad. It depends on your approach, and we know that it existed to give us entertainment, if you treat gambling that way, you will never have a problem and the longer you play the more you get entertain.
I agree but I am afraid that common people think that gambling is something really bad and that's why thy make us feel shameful
Why would you care on what others might say to you? Life is short my friend, you should not be living others life. You have the freedom and use it all you can, you are even luckier because you are part of the community, most people here are very positive, so make yourself a positive person too.
6082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: January 13, 2017, 07:47:14 AM
I gambled a lot before, I was capable to lose all my money in one hour. Now I'm older and wiser, and I have some routines. Controlling money and time is important, first learn to control that and then gambling temper, its easier, in one moment when you organize life outside casino it will be hard to find free time for gambling.
Guys everything is our minds, be strong and you will succeed in everything. I think weak minded gamblers tend to lose more then stable mind gamblers.

As I know you, you began to gamble exactly when you started to make money with bitcoin. And you didn't a stop. You play poker almost every day. But good that you don't spend money from your official work salary, but only those bitcoins that your campaign pays to you Wink
Every people knows what hes doing specially when he already passed into those challenges or hardships on playing gambling and as he said we should really have strong minds as a gambler and shouldn't be weak because temper/emotions would definitely control us if we just let it come on ourselves.Anyone has the right on playing gambling and we should be responsible on what consequences might happen.
your minds was weak when you decide to come to a casino and gamble there.
no matter you have a reasonable purpose to gamble such as to get different entertainment.
i think it will just hard to control over your temper , gambling always blow your mind no matter you lost or win.
So you basically saying that gambling is not good? I do't think that is the reality here. We do gambling not just because we want to make money, but because we also want to experience some kind of entertainment that other games cannot give us, it's the passion inside that really brought us here. No matter how much we lose as long as we are enjoying, there's no problem with it.
6083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 13, 2017, 07:25:11 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

It is because we are targeting higher amount in short period of time with less investment, but probably the fair chances will always be 1:100 in between that we don't know when we will win, we will concentrate only higher returns and bothering about how much we are loosing.
Targeting higher amount in short of period of time make you lose i don't considered this kind of activity or atitude that you are going to try betting on 2x odds i know this is the best way to win profit but if you are trying to so hard on that will make you suffer in the end and make chasing your money.
Higher payout is not always effective for all of us, I can gamble with higher payout but based on experience I do not win most of the time. My suggestion is that just stay discipline and do flat betting, I usually do it in sports betting but not in dice. In dice, I love to use martingale method as it's effective to me.
6084  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 13, 2017, 06:50:44 AM
Paper money would still survive. In india also, same measures are taken to convert people to cashless transactions. They have banned most notes and it has caused lots of inconveniences to people. Most people know only about paper money. Security is also a big issue in digital transactions as you lots of news coming about credit card passwords stolen. Paper money would be in existence but its usage will be much less compared to current situation.

That's why paper money will always be important and what happened to India upon banning their rs' did really made a lot of inconvenience.

I feel sorry for those people there. Security is really not guaranteed in digital transactions and so with digital wallets because a lot of cases that many invaders manage to monitor those people.

And it is hard to make yourself secured from it as long as you are connected in internet. Everyone is watching you.

There will be always a need for paper money.
There's no perfect method or system that we can use where we can avoid others from watching us, what you are pointing is only the negative things about online transaction but if you could see how many crimes committed in a day due to stealing money and robbers rob banks to get deposits you can say that it's more safer with online transaction. Now, we have bitcoin that we can be anonymous, hence it makes it more safer. Paper money is convenient but not safe enough though.
6085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: January 13, 2017, 05:58:34 AM
We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.

Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?
@0 years from now I think Bitcoin will have expanded very much and perhaps even risen in the competition between Paypal. Perhaps it could be more accepted in everyday shops. Who knows? But I m optimistic. Smiley
At some point we can say that it goes beyond what we really expect it.20 years its a very long time to predict, but we are optimistic enough ,we are really on pursuing that it will really lasts that long, hopefully as of today on how it really works that fast and reliable, also depending to its highs and lows but i can say it has its future for more 20 years.

6089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 11, 2017, 07:59:29 AM
The bucks are so odd this season. They are playing great against dominant teams, but are very inconsistent. Even without the Greek Freak, they beat the Spurs which is pretty impressive. I'm gonna avoid games involving Bucks, because it seems like you never know what team is gonna show up.

Don't underestimate Bucks, they are making a noisy scene now in this season. Many are seeing the potential of Giannis Antetokounmpo or not just a potential but he do really has a great skills and Bucks is not wrong for getting him as their point guard together with the whole team. They are doing well for this season, so expect them to be better.
He is a high flyer, he just made an impressive dunk at Knicks home and a game winner. This guy has very good potential if he remains healthy. I'll watch out for this team and bet every game on them while they're hot.
6090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: January 11, 2017, 06:33:41 AM
Trading can still be hard even when the value is going up because you still have to figure out when to sell and when to buy. If you sell now at $1000 for example and take a profit, you want to buy back in but only if the price drops, but it could keep going up to $1500 and you can never buy back in.

It's better bitcoin trading is the best one when compared to other trades because both are independent currency where as USD we don't have any limits and where as bitcoin is the upcoming currency so bitcoin trading is good when compared to other things though it unpredictable job.

Where as with other altcoin those are being run by the owner now we see there are many dump and pump coins rotating in the market, those are very difficult to predict.
Bitcoin is expected to rise but still unpredictable, we have not predicted it right when the price will drop just lately because we think it will continue to rise as it has reach the $1,000 price already. However, it's a good investment if you are holding your bitcoin for the future. Never doubt the future as there are a lot of people who made fortune just holding their bitcoins.

So this project will not run again, but what about those people who are taking the signature of this project ??
Is this project going to pay for all the participants signature ?? Huh Huh

What about the signatures on this project ??

What, still running and pay for all the members who have participated in this signature .. Huh Huh Huh

Signature campaign contest ended.

Yes people will get paid, some people worked hard and respected rules of the contest, they fully deserve to be paid.
We're double checking the posts to be sure rankings are correct. First 0.10 BTC already paid and TX IDs published on "signature thread". Soon your category will be paid too, and we will publish transactions IDs of your category.

We also planned to pay CGC rewards, but since ICO failed you understand it will take some time. (Same for Translation Bounties)
Our best plan B (so far) is to start a Rocket ICO on Yobit, we are still looking for crowdfunding to finish the games engines..
I that case you have to wait Rocket ICO ends and we release wallet.

Thanks for letting me work with you, I think the Full Members and Sr. Members are already paid. I belong to the member category and still waiting for payment. One question, are we free to removed signatures now?

Although I am late, I hope I can rank among the top posters. Really worked hard posting this time :"(
Yeah, I feel that because it's a contest. At least we get something if we are not entitled with BTC payment.

Are you sure want to do this ?
Thanks for clarifying thru PM, I'll stay as member because I want to win. Good luck to the project.
6097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: January 09, 2017, 01:06:44 PM
Because that is when a gambler is facing its bad fate when he started with bad luck and keeps on continuing without realizing that he is just going to fell in a cliff. Also you can depend on your instinct because sometimes personal instincts are good way to predict something if you can feel that it will be good then just don't stop, but if you can feel that it won't just stop. But still, this is not so sure to depend on, it is just happening occasional.

Instinct in gambling is fallacy Smiley You cannot tell whatever is the result.  Gambling has its own system that is unaffected by outside factor even your instinct or mine.  I think it would be better if you are rational here, or cynical.  This way it can save you from more losses in the future.  Stop when you feel like you will win the next Bet because it will always make you to bet more and keep losing.

Good advice : 'Stop when you fell like you will win the next bet' cause I faced it too in the past when I still addicted to sports betting. Eventhough I already lost a bunch of money, that feeling came to me very often and I tend to increase my bet amounts. And the weird thing is even the result from that feeling was negative, the same feeling came again for the next game. At that time, I lost a lot of my valuable things and had a bunch of loans.
That actually cannot be prevented especially when you are under the pressure of winning your next bet, I have also tried that before when I was losing badly and experiencing some cold streak and all I have to do is just chase my loses because the feeling was really intense, however the end result does not favor me. Whatever game you do, it's not good when you lose control during your session, in sports betting most likely the odds 1.95 to 1.80, which means every bet you make you are not getting equal payout.
6098  Economy / Economics / Re: What influences the Bitcoin marketplace? on: January 09, 2017, 04:52:21 AM
Bitcoin is driven too much by speculators these days.
We will have to wait a long time before you can link Bitcoin's value to fundamental factors.

The speculators are the voice of the people, we speculate that bitcoin will be more popular in the future, hence it will make the price increase to earn profit from our investment. As investors of bitcoin, getting ourselves educated with the recent happenings is necessary, it will help us to make the right decision when to buy and sell.
6099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: January 09, 2017, 04:28:19 AM

Some addicted people chooses to get the service of the professionals because they are ashamed to tell their family that they have a big gambling addiction problem. For me, family is the best people to go to when it comes to big problem, they will care for us more than a professional does.

Being with your family there's always a connection that would help you quit because you will realize you love them more than any other thing in this world.

Family is the best, no matter what. Actually, even without telling you to quit, you could feel it that you need to because of them. Not that you love them, but you can feel that they love you.  A professional help is only needed if your addiction is too much and you act like how those crazy drug addicts act. If those manifestations are not present in you, I guess you just have to do it your self with the help of your family.
What great when you go with your family is you do not have to pay anymore and yet you still get the right service you can get. I believe in every problem they should be the first people we should approach and we shall not hesitate to do that since we are the one who are needing help.
6100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: January 09, 2017, 03:55:27 AM
I think would be very difficult to win some profits by gambling, if you can gamble for fun and know when to stop, you will not suffer huge losses.
Yeah the key is to gamble only the amount that you can afford to lose
Because in gambling you have to assume the money that you staking as lost in the first time
So when you go playing there is nothing to lose you will gamble full of joy
No matter how many times you lost, you will feel just fine.
The fact that we lose in the long run then it's just right to minimize your spending in gambling, no matter how hard work we do but the battle is not fair since they have the advantage then we should accept it early and instead of seeking for money, seek for the entertainment value of gambling. You still win if you enjoy despite spending money on it.
