6121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you could rename Bitcoin what name would you give it? on: July 31, 2019, 08:03:10 PM
I never thought about it. In my opinion Bitcoin is perfect name and I wouldn't be able to create something better. Satoshi is genius not only because that he created this currency, but he also chose perfect name for it. It's simpļe, easy to remember, it's sounds good.
Now I'm thinking about alternative name for Bitcoin and nothing comes to my minds. I can't even make some strange or funny name.
6122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC private key character length on: July 31, 2019, 07:48:23 PM
It's same like Bitcoin wallet address - length of it can be from 26 up to 35 characters. There is no exact length for public and private keys. OP, if you are interested, for further reading you can click this link:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Private_key

You have to secreting private key you has been generated,
for example you wrote : KxJYJ35GVd8vbyAdYTxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
what ever when happen you forgoton, then send btc at there, your btc will be loss
Personally, I wouldn't post even part of my private key in such way. Private means private and nobody don't need to know even single character from my private key.
Personally, I would recommend you to buy a hardware wallet instead of taking care of your private key.

This way, your private key will never leave the device and it cannot be hacked.
Good suggestion, but I think it's a bit off-topic here.
6123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Symbol For The Satoshi on: July 31, 2019, 07:31:28 PM
Some of these symbols looks too similar to dollar symbol $. Probably many people who aren't aware about crypto much wouldn't notice difference from first sight.
And I don't think that we need to make symbol for Satoshi. Just look at fiat currencies - $,€ and others. Cent or penny still hold same symbol  of currency. Some currencies have symbols for cents, but it's not widely used.
6124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Love Bitcoin symbol on: July 31, 2019, 07:20:30 PM
As far as I can remember there is a facebook group who uses this symbol like 2-3 years ago

https://www.facebook.com/WeAllLoveBitcoin/

But that's about it, they just post all news related to bitcoin and crypto in general.
You easily can find dozens of Facebook groups using this image, it's also popular on other social networks, forums, bloggers probably also using it often. But as you see from posts above, this image is much older than 2-3 years. It was created in early years of Bitcoin.
There is some other Bitcoin promotional images that can be found on Bitcoin Wiki:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Promotional_graphics
And as I understand these images is royalty free and everyone can use it.
6125  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Dirty Turds Poll - Which DT needs flushing first ??????????? on: July 31, 2019, 04:27:40 PM
Shit, here we go again. I haven't seen you very active in recent weeks, but now come back with same bullshit as always. Stop beating dead horse, ypu're not going to achieve anything with this stuff. Oh, sorry, you may become Greatest Troll of Bitcointalk officially if you continue these wars, maybe it's your goal here?
6126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you think about investment pools? on: July 30, 2019, 08:33:32 PM
It's just another big scam and very fast way to lose money. How you can trust random unknown person from Telegram or Discord witho your money? It's terrible idea. ALL these groups on chat programs related with crypto investments and similar stuff are made by scammers who are looking for naive vicitns. You should stay 1000 miles away from these groups. Why people are always looking for ways how to give their hard earned money to scammers...
6127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Champions Cup 2019 - Discussion thread on: July 30, 2019, 08:16:54 PM
5-0 HT  Lips sealed It's a massacre, Fenerbahce are getting obliterated. But mad props to you for going for 'Fenerbahce to win' (:
There are nothing left for Fenerbahce in this match. The 2nd half has started and I am expecting Bayern to score at least three more goals which will make the score line 8 - 0 LOL

Let's see how this prediction works out 🤪
Well, at least scored 1 goal - considering how they are playing it's big achievemnt lol. Result is 6:1 at 85 minute. Such big result isn't big surprise probably - Fenerbahche finnished just 6th in Turkish league last season and they have huge financial problems - their debts is over $0.5 billion.
6128  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Troll Poll (accepting nominations until 7/31) on: July 30, 2019, 08:08:37 PM
I thought about him when I saw this topic. But I don't think he is troll, more likely he is just mad.
BTW, I noticed just now that he have 2 separate profiles, this that you linked wasn't active recently, now he is using this account:

6129  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: July 29, 2019, 09:25:19 PM
Ive remembered that Yobit campaign is automated but its manager is hilariousandco where there were spammers being kicked out gradually until a few left into the campaign and now they had relaunched and with such same payrate it would normally flooded out by masses but now due to spam we see on how this sig campaign end up.
Yeah, when hilariousandco managed Yobit campaign everything was fine more or less and there were not many spammers left in campaign. But when Yobit relaunched campaign without any manager, everything was just terrible. Most users just tried to reach 20 posts/day quote without putting any efforts and just by making generic shitposts. There was very few good posters in this campaign.
6130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Abstain from shit posting on: July 29, 2019, 08:16:00 PM
OP, if you got banned permantely or your account was nuked, it means that you're banned from this forum as person and you can't continue posting from alt account. You only can visit this forum as reader now.
Now you just admited that you're evading ban. And seems that you haven't learned what is shitpost, because I see you continue shitposting.
And don't even try to make another account, it will be also banned.

@mjglqw, LOL, you made my day!
6131  Other / Meta / Re: Do you often use report button? There are guides to more effectively report on: July 29, 2019, 07:49:32 PM
I also had missed few recent spam waves, I haven't seen any of these posts.
To be honest, I report posts very rarely in recent posts. Mainly because I'm not seeing much spam, and I'm not reporting generic shitposts. Offcourse, I don't visit worst place of this forum like Speculation or whole Altcoin board, so I probably miss tons of shitposts. In past when situation on forum was worse, I reported posts more actively and I even have 100% accuracy.
And another thing - I must admit that I'm too lazy and I'm not happy about it. Lack of time is another thing. I know these excuses sounds stupid...
6132  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: July 29, 2019, 07:23:29 PM
I agree with you moreover in "chatting" thread like the Wall Observer thread, the members easily write 30 or 40 posts in one day.
20 posts was not the minimum requirement but the maximum posts paid per day. And most people in signature campaigns don't reach the maximum threshold. So this argument was kind of FUD IMHO.
Posts in WO are unable to display signatures (only avatars displayed in WO), so I doubt that posts made in WO will be counted for campaigns.
When I was in old Yobit campaign, I remember they counted my posts in Serious discussion section where signatures are disabled, so probably it was same with WO thread.
I agree that's possible to make 20 quality posts per day and even more. You easily can find quite many members doing that. They make much more than their campaign requires. But it's obvious that most of Yobit participants weren't capable to do that.
6133  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: July 29, 2019, 07:14:13 PM
I also love the ideas behind Doge and always use the freedoge site, though the reward is far too low and the captcha is set too hard and so takes me up to a minute to complete. Any thoughts to allowing us to skip the captcha if we keep a high enough balance there, as with the freebtc site? Or is that something that will have to wait until you combine the sites into one?

No. The problem with the Doge site is it is heavily abused with multi-accounting and doesn't make enough money to fund the time required to deal with that. Removing captcha would just increase the abuse.

We abandonned freedoge because solve media not working anymore... .
Yeah, it's not working for a long time already, while Google ReCaptcha is very difficult on Freedoge.co.in. I still use this website, but reward smaller than 0.1 Doge is too low. Though I understand that Freedoge.co.in is not profitbale for Wetsuit.
6134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 28, 2019, 08:53:15 PM
EDIT Both Alfa Romeo drivers got 30 seconds time penalty and it means that Robert Kubica gets his first point for Williams this season. Wow!
Lewis Hamilton also got a time penalty of five second for "entering the point lane on the wrong side of the bollard."
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/f1-autosport/1158870/Lewis-Hamilton-penalty-German-Grand-Prix-updates-news
Yeah, but served his penalty during pit stop. There was message that he may get another penalty because he was going too slow during safety car period. But he was slow because he had accident and and had to make pit stop. There was no reason to punish him in this case.
6135  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Update][07/19] Complete List of Fake Libra Sales Website on: July 28, 2019, 08:45:28 PM
Thank you OP for making this list, it's already quite big. But I suppose there are much more similar websites that we aren't aware about. Libra project is golden opportunity for scammers to make big money. They know that many regular people who have zero knowledge about crypto are going to invest into Libra. Many of them aren't aware about such scams, so they will be easy target for scammers. And I'm afraid that many people will fall into these scams.
6136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: does ecommerce website take bitcoin payments in Pakistan on: July 28, 2019, 08:34:40 PM
Situation with e-shops is pretty much the same all around the world, not only in Pakistan. Number of online shops that accept Bitcoin is still tiny.
There is several reasons why. First and main reason - business just don't see enough demand to accept Bitcoin. They see that number of people who would use Bitcoin as payment method is very small and in their opinion it's not worth. Another thing, they don't know about Bitcoin much, they think that integrating Bitcoin payments may be difficult, they also afraid price volatility. But actually, integrating Bitcoin payments is so easy with services like Bitpay, you just need to upload their plugin to your store. And price volatility doesn't matters, because after you get Bitcoin payment for goods, payment is instantly converted into fiat currency.
And last thing. Bitcoin is banned in Pakistan, so, owners of online shops must follow laws of their country.
6137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning! Be careful with messages that receive money on: July 28, 2019, 08:11:43 PM
It's obvious from sight that you got fake email message. I got hundreds such fake messages throughout they years thatvI'm not paying any attention to it. In your case it's enough to look at email address of sender - it's obvious that PayPal won't send you email from adr4bax@prodigy.net address.
And you should NEVER open such suspicious links in your inbox. It may be phishing link or even inffected with malware. Better safe than sorry.
6138  Other / Meta / Re: Can I create two service thread? on: July 28, 2019, 07:57:16 PM
According to the rules, it's not allowed:
Quote
12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated.)
But I've seen some services have threads in multiple boards, for example Freebitco.in have threads both in Micro Earnings and Gambling boards. So, maybe in some occasions exception to this rule can be made. So, before making new thread I suggest you to contact mods to get permission.
6139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 28, 2019, 03:51:43 PM
It was probably craziest race since Malaysia 2009. I waited for such crazy race for so long. Verstappen - he had terrible start, one spin, but then he did everything perfect and made pit stops on the right time. Vettel - from 20th to 2nd place - brilliant driving. Kvyat - he was so lucky to switch to slick tyres on the right time. This race was not about strategy, it was literally gambling - when to make pit stop and what tyres to choose. Leclerc was doing great today, but it was too early to put slick tyres. And what a disaster for Mercedes at home GP. And Hamilton pit stop after crash probably was most chaotic pit stop I've ever seen. And I think that Gasly today lost his spot in Red Bull today - he lost to both Toro Rosso drivers and had terrible race. Wow, so many things happened today and it's shame that we won't see race in Hockeheimring next year.
EDIT Both Alfa Romeo drivers got 30 seconds time penalty and it means that Robert Kubica gets his first point for Williams this season. Wow!
6140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First dental clinic in Budapest to accept bitcoin on: July 27, 2019, 11:17:20 PM
Interesting, I didn't knew about dental tourism in Hungary. It's amazing that people still can save money even after buying flight tickets and accommodation in the hotel.
I looked at prices in article, and I can say that dental care is even cheaper in my country. Strangely, I haven't heard about dental tourism in my country.
Accepting Bitcoins is another positive sign. I don't know how popular Bitcoin payment option will be, but it's always good to have an alternative. I would like to see same thing in my country, but probably it's not going to happen soon. Many dental clinics don't even accept card payments, so it's worth to expect that they will start accepting Bitcoins.
