6121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Invest on: November 04, 2020, 11:58:28 PM
For now I have been looking at ETH, Binance and LINK. Have been day trading those coins for a week and it gives me really good profit in just few minutes. I know that day trading is not for everyone and you can't get a solid  profit from there but once you have the grasp of day trading and failing so many times, you will know what to do to break your failure.
ETH is solid this time. Particular to the news that it has brought out.
Ethereum 2.0 Countdown Begins With Release of Deposit Contract
Did the ETH 2.0 deposit contract just launch?
6122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for ETH on: November 04, 2020, 11:17:01 PM
BREAKING: The Reserve Bank of Australia exploring potential use of a digital currency (CBDC) that will be powered by the Ethereum blockchain!
Then other countries that have reportedly going to have their CBDC were also good news. These are the known countries that I've known that will have their CBDCs.
  • China
  • Europe
  • Japan

The next will be US who will be proposing to launch CBDC. https://www.coindesk.com/muzinich-treasury-digital-currency

US is still studying it right now whether it can be launched or not, I believe we will see CBDC will be globalized. Remember about there's a good report from china says that the CBDC has already traded successfully.
I thought that the US will depend on Facebook's Libra but looks like that they are not. The US has still doubted it and I think they'll turn into it once the election is done and they have now enough time to focus on it.
There was news about China's launching as a success that I have seen but can't find the article.
Another news about HK - Hong Kong and now Australia heating up global digital currency race

Good idea.
But not every person is thinking the same as you. They are choosing the easiest yet short term way of making money. Improving your skill is one option to thrive and get along with innovation that is happening within and even before the pandemic crisis.

In trying to be fast in getting riches of the world, we might get some problems that will cost us more in life. Yes trying to build skills that will help us in future is really good and with that we are sure that we can enjoy our old age too with finance to take care of our health.
Those people that are aiming to get rich quickly are always the ones that fail the most. They're trying several things that are bringing them misfortune because they don't believe in the process instead, they take the shortcut route which is always the wrong way.
Skilled people always excel with their craft, you only need to know where you are good at and hone it in the process.
6124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $20+Day! Villages in Philippines survive Covid playing Axie Infinity on: November 04, 2020, 10:23:17 PM
My question for the game is it free to play or users need to use ethereum or to buy token first before they can play and breed pets?
You can read the answer for questions like this on their own blog.

Well, I just found that Binance will have IEO on this project. I dont understand why this game make interested Binance. As I said their graphics looks not good.

And according this article:

Quote
approximately 140,000 Axies exist in the world

But

Quote
Total Tokens: 270,000,000

NFT tokens mean that every token must be unique. But here are not. Why?
We don't know their reason but if Binance finds a project interesting, they will dive into it to make it even more profitable and recognizable by most of us.
I don't also understand the numbers of the tokens and supplies that they have. If you find any information about that, please post it for us to read and compare.

Rather than using these money making applications it is good to invest on your skills. You can make better earning out of freelancing sites like Fiverr and similar ones. Here you need to make yourself skilled and at the very beginning it is quite hard to get an order. Further when you receive regular orders it'll help you to be passionate on your work.
Good idea.
But not every person is thinking the same as you. They are choosing the easiest yet short term way of making money. Improving your skill is one option to thrive and get along with innovation that is happening within and even before the pandemic crisis.

Those who have interest to learn daily and knows importance of it are always looking out for some sort of development in their experience, skills which will help them in their work or in future as well. This is also important in owner’s personal growth as well and me also think it is important on doing things which are more worthy then things which may just not be worth your value.
Yes, we have individual worth when the terms of skills we're dealing with. It depends to your chosen field and the expertise that you can offer.
In comparison with money making apps, you can do at the same time if you still have time or which you are more allocating time and you enjoy the most.

Wow that sure was a big pump for this coin. From the price of $0.04 up to $7.58. This literally was hell of a pump from this coin. To those who have sold during the pump were aware that it's a mere pump.
I don't know the reason for the pump but this coin is now back at low price. The chart is flat is again.

Nevertheless, I might accept even your "zero fiat value" token if I like the project behind. Offering an asset up is never a mistake.
You have answered and it's more than enough verifying all of those tokens/altcoins you may want to accept. Good luck with your dealing, if there's some games that I want to buy for my steam account then I'll go back to this thread.
For game enthusiasts that likes to have new game in steam like Cyberphunk 2077 which has been postponed again, you can pre-purchase it on steam with the help op for crypto payments.

if dollar goes strong agianst btc then btc goes down?
What if it goes both strong? if dollar goes strong again, the question is when? we might see a quick recovery from them but I don't see that it will make bitcoin go down.
can donate btc to federal reserve to make them not make dollar strong again and keep printing:D Cheesy Cheesy
those bankers like money i think if crypto users will donate to them it will keep btc price good  Grin
Why donate? they have unlimited money while us, we have limited bitcoin.

List what specific altcoins you want to accept. Because if somebody offers his almost zero worth altcoins but has a fiat value, you may regret accepting it.
I have said as almost zero because probably there is no volume anymore for that coin if you say you accept "any" altcoin.
6137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Invest on: October 31, 2020, 11:31:13 PM
On the other hand you can invest YOUC, Jacs, AME. I think these are potential project at this time.
These are the projects that I see that are conducting bounties in the forum. I usually see other members join their signature campaign and that is why it is very familiar to me.
But that doesn't mean because they are having a bounty, it will be your basis that they are a good project that has potential.

6139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 30, 2020, 11:14:15 PM
there is nothing safe in sportsbetting, you can try and bet on odds @1.2 or less, you can win a lot of them, but it won't work for the long term
i've been gambling for 5 years on sports and i can assure you that there is no guaranteed bets, you can lose at any time
at the end of the day, it also has to do with luck, that's what gambling is based on, through out my 5 years journey, i even started
to have doubts that sports are rigged, and i believe some of them are for sure rigged.
Even to bet with those odds, you can't be sure that they will win. In sports betting it's not actually the bettors luck but it's those players that you are betting in a certain game.
Like in basketball, there are lucky moves that were unexpected to get in to the basket and which made the opposing team to win and made the crowd favorite team to lose.
6140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DeFi is high risk investment on: October 30, 2020, 10:42:07 PM
2. Developers boost that their codes are impenetrable but they can't oversee how users interacts with applications and platforms, meaning human errors are inevitable.
These devs don't also take chance to think of the biggest risk of their platform, the security. Hacks are recently happening to defi projects and if they will keep ignoring it, we can assume that defis are about to end its hype very soon. Just like the banks, they are giving importance the security of their depositors.
Whilst in defi, it looks like it isn't much of a discussion to them.
