6141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitsharesX is taking Litecoin and Bitcoin down on: August 26, 2014, 06:36:59 AM
Every week there is a new pump and dump coins. Yet, BTC and LTC are the only ones here to stay.
6142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, pros and cons, experience and profitability on: August 26, 2014, 06:35:52 AM
I think arbitrage is generally profitable if you choose your moment right.

It s all about the difference in price in liquidity. I really wish I have the time to follow Chinese exchanges, lots of potential there.
6143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you name your baby Satoshi for 150 bitcoins? on: August 26, 2014, 06:13:45 AM
Ok, so we all expect BTC to reach $10 000 in the next couple of years, pls do not BS that you don't when I know we all do.

So, let us do a bit of simple math, 150 BTC x 10 000 = $1.5 mil

Rephase the question,

Would you name your baby Satoshi for $1.5 mil?

Personally? Nah. I do not care about these magic coins. Smiley
6144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My bank doesn't know what a bitcoin is.... HELP on: August 26, 2014, 04:37:11 AM
It s all about money laundering. I had a similar issue with my bank, they refused to let me transfer money to my Bitstamp account and they requested me to provide some kind of user confirmation document stating what my money is being used for and what is the exact amount I ll be using to buy Bitcoin. In other words, you just need to educate them, provide proof you are buying Bitcoin and not drugs and all should be fine.
6145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: August 25, 2014, 08:43:00 PM
Next week Bitcoin trader will reach another milestone, 10 MONTHS online.
6146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: August 25, 2014, 07:20:47 AM
One more question for TraderThom ...

So if arbitrage trading involves keeping large sums at a number of exchanges, in order to be able to quickly capitalise on opportunities ...
Is that "our" (investors') coins on the exchanges? And therefore at risk from a number of companies "doing a mtGox"?
Do we as investors take that risk? It seems that it can't be avoided really, seeing as the whole point of us investing is so that BT have greater leverage to capitalise on arbitrage opportunities (that wouldn't be the case if our invested coins were in cold storage, obviously).

Regardless, I've invested a small sum with BT - I'm willing to take the risk. Once I've recovered it, I'll start investing more, and ride it as far as it goes!

At this point I wouldnt be surprised if BT do a Mt Gox in the coming week... With no info on this Audit, and the website going down twice in the past 2 days, Im kind of expecting the email that says "oops we got hacked, your money is gone, k cya bye"

If that happens I have a serious problem. But what will it mean if it doesn't happen? Will you be less skeptic?

I suggest you invite someone to bet you. A few weeks ago, there was a guy willing to bet $1000 that Bitcoin trader will not be here in 4 months, when the next round of shares mature. I am sure
Bitcoin trader would accept that bet, implement it via escrow. This is an excellent way to silent skeptics among BTC community.
6147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: August 23, 2014, 07:04:27 PM
What is wrong with you people, we have been losing money since day 1, no way to reach ROI whatever we do and you discuss poems. Who cares about that.

We were promised Monero by the end of the week. What is going on with that?
6148  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: August 23, 2014, 09:08:10 AM
Don't panic, Facebook page says they re fixing it.
6149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: August 22, 2014, 07:31:42 PM
Oh yes, two great days in a row.

August 21, 2014: +0.91%
August 22, 2014: +0.85%
6150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: August 22, 2014, 07:26:57 PM
You need to step up your "game" Mr Genesis-Mining...

Look at GAWminer...see the strong community they have ?
Guess what ?

They care about customers, they reward customers, customers have a chance to ROI.
And happy customers come back buying more.
Easy.

My experience with you is a complete disaster....7 MH/s bought in June for almost 1,6BTC...(what a fool i was...  Undecided )
No reward for early buyers.
No MH/s bonus
No ROI possible ( i will be very lucky if i earn 50% of what i spend...)

how can you fight with your overpriced MH/s Huh

Are you aware at what price GAW sell Huh Huuu???
And you are stil at 158$ for 2 MH/s....

Sorry but you can re-design your website...it's not enough...

Please prove me wrong and evolve, learn from the best (At the moment it's GAW)  AND care about your Customers and their ROI.
Happy customers = Come back buy
Angry customers = Bad review, never come back, out of business soon...

+1

No ROI for me either, not even close. Somebody mentioned to buy contracts with fiat and then might profit. Why would I do that? I can buy BTC and wait for the price to go up.
6151  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: August 22, 2014, 03:19:40 PM
Bitcoin Trader finished their maintenance, everything is operational again, just requested my daily cash out.
6152  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: August 22, 2014, 07:28:37 AM
How do you quantify over advertising?

Hi Andrea.  Thanks for coming to the thread.

One question I have had for a long time is whether or not you can say you have personally met (face to face and not using video chat) John Carley or anyone else who is a non marketing employee of the company?

I haven't kept up with the discussion in the past few weeks but one thing that never seemed to happen is that the people behind the company (the administrators/programmers/bankrollers) ever had any verifiable presence, just representatives who had never met their employers.  (If this has changed in the past few weeks, please clue me in and I apologize.)  Regardless of whether the company is a ponzi or not this just seems shady, especially considering how long its been going on.

Hi,my name is Thomas Opperman. I am the PR manager at Bitcoin Trader. My Facebook account is 100006261707339@facebook.com. I have "met" Michael Brandenburg on Skype and I am an employee of BT. The reason for the anonymity of John Carley, Michael Brandenburg and especially the traders is because of security. They all want to minimize the risk of being hacked. The "normal" rules of internet safety gets stretched just a bit to ensure the safety of our clients money, but in extreme cases extreme measures must be taken. We understand that people want a "face" they can trust, but the security factor is the main reason for the anonymity. In the time I have been with BT I have been attacked 3 times because people think I have in some way access to the funds(which I don't). So imagine what the effect would be if the people who do are announced to the public?I hope this is an acceptable answer, but feel free to comment or contact me.

Hi Thomas,

I ve been with Bitcoin Treader for almost 6 months and ve been quite happy so far. I can understand the need to keep things private when dealing with large amounts of BTC but I can also understand the desire of lots of potential BT users to get more info about it. There s been a lot of scams online and it has been quite difficult for people to differentiate junk from the real deal. Once more, IMO, I have had great journey with Bitcoin Trader so far and I hope it ll stay profitable for all of us.

A quick question, when you say you are an BT employee, what does that exactly mean? You have some kind of full time contract with them?
6153  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: August 21, 2014, 08:22:24 PM
Well, that s life. Sometimes I wish I am less risk averse.
Not many people would call putting money in a hyip risk adverse.

Been listening to that story since the day one. Yet, I keep making money since the day one. Reached full 176% ROI 4 weeks ago, withdrew principal and reinvested some of my profits. Unfortunately, I invested just a small amount. However, I have a friend who invested $11k and will reach 171% ROI in a few days, most of it he has already received. Have another friend who invested $20k and will reach similar ROI end of this month. If they are a HYIP, they are really strange HYIP, the one which lets people reach full ROI, profit, withdraw and then reinvest only house money. This all goes on almost 10 months. Never heard of something like that.

A friend of mine has had his $11k principal matured and returned back to him. 171% ROI after 4 months. Great work Mr.J.
6154  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW OneMiner ZenCloud Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: August 19, 2014, 06:10:42 AM
Looking at the LTC difficulty drop got me thinking: with the amount of hashpower in the ZenPool (130+ GH/s and growing at ~20 GH/s per day) and some more in the other ZenCloud pools this should not be happening, right? Or to put it another way, if the cloud is not real this is actually a good thing. I think. Maybe. If LTC exchange rate wasn't dropping faster than its difficulty.

That is the first think I noticed. If they ve sold so many contracts, how come LTC diff s dropping?
6155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, pros and cons, experience and profitability on: August 19, 2014, 04:27:06 AM

6157  Economy / Securities / Re: Is there anything here worth of investing? on: August 18, 2014, 08:06:30 AM
Please, stay on the topic. Labrat mining seemed Ok to me, considered buying, however, recently clients complain. Any experience there, what is the average ROI?
6158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: August 18, 2014, 07:33:39 AM
Bitcoin trader has reached another milestone, 9 months online, no issues so far.
Cumulative results for July 2014 is +19.1%
This first month of the third round of shares maturity has also been completed.
haha I got better result Tongue

State your number, what did you get?
6159  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: August 18, 2014, 04:28:31 AM
I've heard quite a bit about Bitcoin Trader but I haven't jumped in yet. If they do release an audit then I will join for sure.

Sure, follow the thread, if they do, I ll post it here. We should have info in a few days.
6160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, pros and cons, experience and profitability on: August 17, 2014, 08:59:37 AM
The company was founded in 2013 - we launched beta a few months ago and now we are fixing bugs of the new site version. We hope to announce it next week - we ve already launched more friendly design, okpay withdrawals and are testing margin trading, that will be also available next week.

Margin trading might be interesting, however you need to have large base of users in order to achieve attractive interest rates.

....and it can seriously decrease BTC price as we ve seen during this last BTC crash.
