6161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: April 14, 2018, 07:44:37 PM
Bitcoin is #1 for me as it is accepted in every crypto casino, which is important factor for me as I don't like stick to one casino for a long. And of course confirmation time and fees is also important.
There is nice article about the subject "Top 5 coins for gambling".

Yes, bitcoin is acceptable in almost all gambling sites. But there are times when bitcoin transactions run not as expected, that is when the confirmation comes so slowly. At such time, it would be better if we have alternative coins like doge which mostly will have a fast confirmation time, hence we can avoid such delay that sometimes can ruin our gambling momentum.
Yes that is right that most of the online casinos accept bitcoin for playing gambling, but i think that there are so many other online casino that along with bitcoin, they are also like to accept Etherium and so many other crypto currencies for playing gambling, but overall bitcoin can be consider as the best currency for playing gambling online.
Those coins that have the initial positions on the price chart are mostly supported and accepted by the casinos that offer gambling. This is because use of low valued coins s a loss for the house itself as the total earned profit is not equal to the desired amount that is to be shared amongst the players’ and the house where they are betting.
If you mean ethereum, bitcoin and litecoin well I am right. But mostly gambling site is use bitcoin for to deposit their site even it is high fees. Because they think that the most valuable coin is bitcoin that's why this is mostly used by gambling site now. There are a certain amount of gambling sites who used altcoins but the high volume used is bitcoin to all gambler.
6162  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sarap sana mag mina kaso wala akong pondo mag isa. on: April 14, 2018, 03:51:19 PM

6163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: April 14, 2018, 11:07:46 AM
I think bitcoin will not damage the country, let alone if it is legalized by that country. currently bitcoin can actually improve the economy of society in a country.

on my opinion, blockchain technology can damage the country (on some time)... most of countries have centralised system and its too hard to change it on 100%, so... anyway - decentralised system is cool and it have right to exist in our lives Smiley
Are you sure that blockchain technology can damage the country?
There some country using blockchain technology because it has the fastest transaction compared to any online transactions.
One thing that government refusing bitcoin or other currencies because it is decentralized and there's nothing to do with manipulated these cryptos. So, some of them decided to ban due to avoid near in the future that bitcoin may compete with the bank near in the future, and those maybe ruin in most countries.
6164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: April 13, 2018, 08:29:02 PM
In my opinion, these are the best steps to quit gambling, especially after a great loss:

1- Accept the truth (What's happening to you) , and just deal with it:
When you lose a lot of money then you must accept this loss, and overcome it, without  blaming yourself or something else, because that does not change anything.
Then, you must deal with,  by compensating the loss, you can even start a new business field.

2- Control yourself:
The most essential thing is how to control yourself in difficult situations, and it will be through controlling your feelings or internal conflict, Such as, the greed and false hope.
These are was adviseable those gamblers do not stop gambling even how many losses they have, accepting the reality if you are getting lose do not chase your lose in gambling or else it may turn you nothing if you let gamblings control you besides you are the one who controlled gambling. It is easy to leave if you think that you not lucky enough in gambling or you always get a loss on it.
6165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do people look at the dollar value of a coin instead of the Satoshi value? on: April 13, 2018, 04:34:42 PM
Dollar value is just like foreign language, we mostly use that because it is easy to us to identify what the real value if we change into fiat.
If we convert our bitcoin into cash we can easily compute what is the value to fiat compared to compute a fractional number from satoshi value that it might be misleading to everyone about the real value.
6166  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: April 13, 2018, 10:18:09 AM
Hi today market goes green
as you can see in 1 houre perfomance everything changed is it the comeback or just a pump ? what you think about it what is going on ?

Maybe the big whales are now on the move to play their games of manipulating the market because i don't believe of real demand investment on Bitcoin but for sure this was due to big whales participation in which they are capable of pumping the market value because of their huge resources. After this pump more investors will now be attract to invest more in Bitcoin making the market more stable and strong.
You have a point there mate, that big whales who can afford to play with the market are getting a touch to the bitcoin they have the power to manipulate bitcoin through their money or some of them making a FUD news to discourage investors and make price bitcoin low.
But now they are starting investing while it is low due to the negative feedback on it through social media, and no doubt bitcoin price will rising up because of less demand and that is what happen now.
6167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seeing Green on: April 13, 2018, 08:10:52 AM
Guys i think our wish is now officially granted seeing all green like this makes me so happy, Glad that i invest some of my savings into Bitcoin, i'm excited to see the price Up to 10k+ by the end of the month.

Our battle for the recovery has begun. This is the beginning of reaping what we planted. If you hold your coins till now, lucky for us. If you just sold them, better watch out. The green season has giving us a positivity and hope. I beleive its working now.
It's too early to celebrate, price increasing on cryptocurrencies are just a beginning and we hope that it will continue raising up until December. I am happy now too to see my holding coins in my portfolio increased, it was tickle was my ears and eyes seeing that the price was rapidly rising up but this not end just still holding on.
6169  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Points for reporting post to moderator. on: April 12, 2018, 04:28:00 PM
I think merit points can also be awarded for reporting spam posts.

Like for every successful report, you get a merit point from the system.

By reporting spam, the members not only help clean the forum they also gain something and that will keep them motivated.

I know there will be some pros and cons on that too, we can discuss them here. This suggestion surely needs some discussion.
I'm afraid things like this will be spam spam or make yourself with a different account account in the hope of getting a reward.
your plan is less effective
You are mate, there's a possibility that you might be used a newbie alt accounts to post a spam or FUD news and your main account will report on it, just like that. Easy to abuse since we can easy to create a newbie account.
Reporting to the moderator is not effective to have merit, but if you are doing it right now it's better you are helping the forum clean and the moderators as well.

As of now stop burdening your self regarding merit, forget it for a while instead do your best to post a genuine post that shareable to others idea or reply a post with a constructive and sharing idea. Then you will never know that your post is merited to the merit source.
6170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 12, 2018, 01:35:33 PM
The positive approach will boost your confidence but there is no guarantee whether you will make money if you are confident. It completely depends on the luck you have, so positive trend will not have a chance to make money.

that will help us to still think that there will be another chance for us to win the games but actually, we don't have a chance to win the games. maybe we can feel confident in gambling games and we are sure that we can win on this day but if we realize that we need more than positive thinking to win the games, then we should think twice to continue for playing gambling.
People think positive when they do in gambling will probably easy to win, they are near to luck compared to those people who are not in mind when play gambling. Gambling is not easy to win most people lose because of wrong options and when they are in gambling site or casino they need to analyzed which move is better to do just to have a high possibility to win.
Positive thinkers and self-motivators have always had a chance to win in every gambling activities.
6171  Economy / Economics / Re: Will regulating cryptomarkets increase or decrease trading volumes? on: April 11, 2018, 07:53:36 PM
This is the fault of some fake ICO and scam ICO that makes government decided to regulate crypto just to avoid not to scam their people.
And that makes people did not make confidence to put an investment in ICO's project just to be afraid of being a scam.
One of the factors that the market was pumped was ICO's project continuing to promote their project, and some are having a group of pumps maybe.

6174  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is just a bonus on: April 09, 2018, 07:34:25 PM
****..
The point is I do not care wether I get merit or not, my rank is up or not, the important thing is i can learn something from this forum, at the end the knowledge that i get from here can be used to get money from trading or from other, increasing my knowledge is more important than getting merit or raising rank

They are all annoyed you mate because it is obvious that you are here making this thread just to earn a single merit then if they ignored you from the merit source, there is really no chance to have you even a single smerit.

Just giving you an advice mate, if you really don't care about merit then just forget it for a while. Making a post that giving or share an idea of the genuine post, do not reply post that over 20 pages reply. When I checked your profile post it seems you have more post on megathread then you should avoid on that section. Just continue posting a good quality post then maybe your post was spotted to the merit source then you'll never know you are already merited.

Edit:  I do care about merit, but more about giving it out to people who deserve it.  I think it's an excellent response to the spamming problem, and I fully support it.  I am hoping I start seeing low-ranked members posting stuff that's interesting instead of inane crap like the above.
I agreed to this pharma statement, don't oppose the given law to the admin just obey it. Cool
6175  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Meralco tataas ang singil up to 1 peso per kw/hr. By nxt 2 months. on: April 09, 2018, 06:44:37 PM
6176  Other / Meta / Re: The future of the signature campaigns on: April 09, 2018, 05:36:34 PM
Hello, please how many people are using bitcointalk forum? I have heard that there are registered about 2 million accounts. But probably there are more accounts than real people. I see that there are many junior and newbies accounts, probably they are quite new, so is there any statistics about new members? I think most of them only want to earn here. How many of all members wear signature and are registered in signature campaigns?

I just wondering about the future of this forum, the signature campaigns and the bounties. If everyone will do bounty and signature, then there will be no future, right?
You are right, the number of registered profiles is much higher than actual number of real people behind them. There are many profiles that were banned or there are some profiles belong to one person.
I think making money through different campaigns is one of the main targets why people come here, it is somewhere between two other targets: to know more about bitcoin and to sell something through the forum. While the commercial performed by signature/bounty campaigns works and attract investors or users to the product, all this will continue to function as long as demand for such kind of work is going to be on the necessary level. I do not like to talk about far far future, but I expect that signature/bounty campaigns will be trendy for several years more.
Yes, they are too many registered accounts lately and they are all newcomers in the forum and some of them maybe did not pass on the merit system implemented by admin theymos, they were stuck on Jr. member rank so, I think from now on the bounty/signature participants were lessen. Probably they stopped working in the forum because of low rate in Jr. member rank to make a profit.
So, we are lucky for them that we had already this rank before merit implemented, and it takes a year before you've reached a higher rank.
6177  Other / Meta / Re: For Merit suggestion. on: April 09, 2018, 09:19:42 AM
****..
I think it will be fair, let merit not be out of reach. Everyone can get it through their own efforts,as long as you meet the requirements, conditions, rather than need 80% of luck and buy.
Be legitimate on getting merit, don't risk on the red tag it might be you have if you abuse merit. Buying smerit is one of the prohibited on this forum then we must obey it. Avoid more post or replies about more than 20 pages on megathread or else you have become spamming the forum. Just find a genuine thread that you can be shared an idea, after that, you have never known that you are merited by those merit source in the forum.

I checked some of your posts, but if you post on page 34 , page 27 or page 22 of a spam megathread, you shouldn't expect to be merited.
I agreed on LoyceV just avoid the thread that more than these pages replies, it should be deleted and even single merit you don't have.
6178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can FUD destroy bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 08:42:09 AM
Many of the FUDs circulating about bitcoin seem to indicate the scouring of bitcoin users' trust on bitcoin so bad perceptions of bitcoin, especially for new users and selling bitcoin, which seems deterrent to use bitcoin, will the price of bitcoin be destroyed by FUD, How do you react to it?
FUD cannot destroy Bitcoin, FUD can make Bitcoin difficult and go down quickly, but it can not destroy it. I believe many big investors will not care about FUDer because they know that if it goes down, they can buy at lower prices instead of worrying and selling them all.
I think FUD make an effect about 20% of bitcoin price movement but that is not totally accurate, old investors are more than the newbie investors so if newbie are do panic selling while those old investors investing while the price is down. So at this moment even though how many FUD's news broadcast by the media bloggers is, still, bitcoin exist due to decentralized and that asset people trust bitcoin and embrace.
6179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What it actually meant by Ban? on: April 08, 2018, 06:51:33 PM
In this case we need to consider the regulations and legal laws of the country. We need to understand what will be the punishment of that kind of crime.
So what if, you have 5btc in your portfolio and then months later your government declared a cryptocurrencies ban?
I think you should find ways to claim your bitcoin in your portfolio, you may travel to another country if you want to get it or send it to your trusted friend abroad and convert into fiat. It may punishable if you caught that you are using bitcoin even it is banned, so be careful it is better to still being anonymous in bitcoin like what Satoshi did.
6180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: April 08, 2018, 05:50:48 PM
I think yes because if you notice ICO that without bounty campaign like signature is not too success unlike other ico here
It sounds like maybe, the reason is here in the forum are 98% investor surely because of members here in forum likely aware of cryptocurrencies investment so, much better than ICO's putting a big amount on bounty/signature campaign to be well known a company whos in signature by the members who participated. Unlike those social media, I think 50% are not investors and not totally oriented on cryptos.
