6161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrency market is crashing on: December 22, 2017, 02:16:08 PM
Is it good or bad, who knows.

In last 24 hours whole cryptocurrency market is crashed and lost 30% of its values ( including bitcoin and other altcoins).

So it can be a good time to get in or maybe its time from when bitcoin starts to fall.

What are your views on recent crash ? share your advise and reasons.
This called a profit taking. When everyone try to take or cash out their profit from the crypto market and there will be a huge sell to the bottom but in another side it could be a good to the traders to buy the more altcoin or bitcoin.
But you must try to learn a lot about TA and FA.
6162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still safe to use etherdelta?? on: December 22, 2017, 02:10:31 PM
Still safe to use etherdelta??
It's safe but remember you must try to flush your dns to avoid your connection still connected to the previous dns but overall I'm using etherdelta right now and all of the transaction goes smoothly.
Just waiting for another testimony from another member.
6163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to buy altcoins or wait? on: December 21, 2017, 11:06:57 AM
Maximum of altcoins have risen almost 50% within 3-4 days. Do you think the price rise is temporary and will fall soon? Or it's just starting to rise in the +ve direction?
Not sure about that because the market is unpredictable right now. I give you some examples about the fact just like centra, kickcoin and another altcoin get huge rise on its price and then the price still stable and they don't big fall after that. If the positive trend will still continue and there is a possibility to the price of altcoin will reach another level again.
6164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH higher than before, BTC lower than before. Profit taking? on: December 21, 2017, 10:56:41 AM
ETH seems facing 1000 usd,
BTC is lower now,
Is it wise to buy BTC usimg ETH?
It's not. Remember if you are want to buying the ethereum when the bitcoin goes to the moon and ethereum gets plunged. That means you will get the more ethereum. but if you are buying ethereum right now and you will be lost a lot. caused by you are buying it when the prices of bitcoin goes dump and ethereum to the moon. wait until bitcoin push ether
6165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We developed a new Ethereum Wallet, which we think with outstanding user experie on: December 20, 2017, 11:36:19 AM
Hi, all steemians and traders,

We are team BitUniverse. With weeks of development, we finally finished our Ethereum Wallet project and integrated it into BitUniverse app. The wallet feature will be in future a multi-assets wallet, supporting bitcoin and other altcoins. BitUniverse is an all-in-one cryptocurrency portfolio manager, with features of realtime price tracking, manually adding portfolio or importing portfolio with api, and a build in wallet.
Today I wanna shout out for it.

You can read more details on steemit: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@jeremypeng/we-developed-a-new-ethereum-wallet-which-we-think-with-outstanding-user-experience

Where to get BitUniverse?
Android version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bituniverse.portfolio&referrer=utm_source%3Dbtctalk
(You can also download apk from our official website: https://www.bituniverse.org )

iOS version: Still in development

Contact us:
Telegram: https://t.me/bituniverse
Twitter: https://twitter.com/bituniverse_org
Email: bituniverse2017@gmail.com
Can you give a clue about what was the security measures that already enabled on the bituniverse? The security becomes the main thing at this time which so many cases about the ethereum hacked in the parity and another wallet of the ethereum itself.

So, Can you give the more detail about that.
2fa?
phase phrase?
or another good idea about that.
6166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to convert bitcoin cash to USD? on: December 20, 2017, 11:32:28 AM
Are there any exchanges that allow it? I heard Bitfinex does, but also heard that they only allow conversion to USDT (and people were having trouble converting USDT into USD, unless this has been solved?)
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/#markets
There are so many exchange sites which already enabled the bitcoin cash trade into the USD directly. coinone, bitstamp, kraken and many more. But the latest just gdax exchange site which owned by coinbase platform.
You can try to choose which is better for you based on the regulation. But you can try to sell your bch to the usd directly in bitfinex.
6167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Total marketcap on coinmarketcap.com is now $600.087.787.881 on: December 17, 2017, 01:36:00 PM
wow... 0.6 trillion....
The crypto just like a rocket that will go to the moon as fast as possible. Almost 40 million increase just in some hours and that's so crazy mate. but I will be predicting about at the end of the next year the total marketcap will be around 1.5 trillion dollars. it is still increase in this time.
6168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a risk that the ICO that has already collected money will be hacked by on: December 17, 2017, 01:34:01 PM
So that's mean if some ICO will hucked I lost my money (invested). Even this is sucsesfull ICO noone compensate my money.
The developer will lose their development's funds. but i'm not sure about you will still lose all of your money. but you can still to dump your asset in the market. Look at some project that has got stolen by the hacker due to the parity wallet bug. they are still continuing the development process.
6169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH price going crazy on: December 17, 2017, 01:32:09 PM
may be the hardfork many people want to buy ETH and hold to get the fork coins!
I think it is time that the altcoins go up,the bts has rise so much those days!
You haven't got the point mate, The ethereum hardfork will never be the same as the bitcoin hardfork. The only hardfork that issued the fork coin is only the dao. But the main thing about the block reward in ethereum increase a lot since the hardfork at the middle of sept.
6170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only 2 days untill CME launch Bitcoin future! on: December 16, 2017, 12:20:51 PM
Accumulate Bitcoin as much as you can.
And thank me later... Wink
They are betting on the price of the bitcoin and not in the bitcoin itself. The direct impact will never be received by the bitcoin. It just like the more speculators try to play the market. But it's still a speculation. I just waiting for the market reaction due to the bitcoin futures contract some days later.
6171  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: December 16, 2017, 12:18:45 PM
So as far as we know BTC currency is growing wide, do you think there will be when it become a national currency? If yes, why?If not, why?
For now Bitcoin can not be categorized as a national currency in any country because of fluctuations in value so that prices that change too fast will affect the price of daily necessities because it follows the value of Bitcoin.
It will never. Bitcoin with its decentralized thing against the main thing of the government that controlled anything. that's the centralized thing. in so many news already stated about the government will never try to accept or consider the bitcoin as a legal currency or even a national currency.
6172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the Ethereum Community allow for a hardfork because of Parity hack? on: December 15, 2017, 02:27:16 PM
Users who had their funds frozen by the July hacker attack on Parity's portfolios developed by Gavin Wood, one of Ethereum's founders, may have their funds recovered, according to a new company announcement released this week on Parity's official blog . At the time about $ 275 million in Ethereum were stolen from their owners.
To solve the problem and return the funds to its users a hard fork, it will need to be done on the platform, noting that a "hard fork" is just an update and not necessarily the creation of a new currency as we have seen with Bitcoin . In Hard Fork, everyone should perform the proposed updates, in the case of Parity, a protocol is currently under review as possible fixes in the protocol for the Ethereum virtual machine (EVM).
Let's wait the more update about the parity's problem. I hope the hardfork is not only the way to fix the parity hack problem. The recent bitcoin hardfork coins just another crap coin that generates to earn the money form the bitcoin holders. If the bitcoin holders get free coin and there will be a big hype and that brings a lot of value for the fork coin. But it was absolutely nothing.
6173  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain future on: December 15, 2017, 12:47:49 PM
A mass adoption.. Start up business around the world will merge in blockchain any private sectors that wants to start their journey in blockchain.

Only if the blockchain is not banned
The technology can't be banned. if you are referring to the blockchain development and it will still continue. it can't be disrupted by the government because the fact a lot of the companies or even countries are needed it.
it will never get banned by the government because of the tech development just like a must.
6174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think BCH will replace BTC in the future? on: December 14, 2017, 01:26:51 PM
Bcash is very powerful of course. But as we see they can't stop this rocket ship called BTC. When bitcoin fell by 5,500 thousand and BCASH was almost 3 thousand seemed to be Yes, maybe but now it is clear who is the boss.
BUT grows well BCASH and what is soon to be released card bcash very cool
Bitcoin cash just another fork of bitcoin and that's not comparable with the bitcoin. if there are some people like roger ver that spreads bullshit about that. Don't take it seriously. There is only one bitcoin and that was the bitcoin itself. Bitcoin cash just a kind to steal the demand of bitcoin instantly.
6175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNIVERSA (UTN) SPECULATION THREAD on: December 14, 2017, 01:24:01 PM
Hello guys!
UNIVERSAs team just finished their ICO, and it will be available on exchanges in januar,y2018...
This project was awarded as the best blockchain in russia yesterday or the day before yesterday...
And what do you think guys, what will be the price of UTN tokens for the end of 2018?
Thanks!  Cheesy
The prices should be higher than the ico price after the team release the platform to the public. but as the ethereum is swiss non profit company and that will be not surprised to see about the universa become the best blockchain in Russia. but there are so many blockchain which had better ability than universa. but it looks good at all.
6176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷LTC above 1000 USD in February 2018? on: December 14, 2017, 01:09:41 PM
I dont think so. LTC growing sooooo fast but it already pumped. I saw Charlie Lee's tweet.
The price will come with a correction and the price will fall down Smiley
The prices of litecoin down again. How it comes to the correction in this time. As far as I can see about litecoin still lost a lot of value in the bitcoin pair. Litecoin gains more and more interest by the traders. Since it has passed iota and there will be a good news coming soon.
6177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to claim Super Bitcoin on: December 13, 2017, 01:51:06 PM
Hello guys,

i have some BTC at coinbase, can anybody tell my whats the best way to claim super bitcoin for me ?
I also want to recieve at other coming forks like Bitcoin Cash Plus.

thanks,
Alex
If the super bitcoin will become a good another fork of bitcoin and there are some exchange sites will try to added the super bitcoin into their exchange site, and how majority of the exchange are still not giving any announcement about that. But I think that yobit exchange will give you a clue. Just mkore your coin to the exchange that supported super bitcoin trade.
6178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Pump For Reason ? on: December 13, 2017, 01:21:32 PM
Hi everybody, as we noticed that the ripple price is rising more and more recently, the Ripple (XRP) up 40% in one day , go 20c to 35c , so i need to know is there a reason for this or it is just nothing? does some one who know why ? I make some research but don't know what is the story,
so if any one knows please give us your help here.
thanks a lot.
Ripple pump for no reason. How it was losing a lot of the value in the bitcoin pair. How people are buying that centralized coin get a lot of lost due to the bitcoin bullish trend. It will never reach another ATH in the bitcoin value. It will be dumping again later. See you again in the next time when ripple gets another dump.
6179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DAG to Overcome Blockchain? on: December 13, 2017, 01:09:12 PM
Is It the End of Blockchain?

Since a Bitcoin block is created roughly every 10 minutes, the maximum number of possible transactions is very limited. The transactions are prioritized according to the amount of transaction fee paid but if the block is full, you have to wait for the next block. Depending on the amount of fee paid and the transaction volume, you may have to wait several blocks until your own transaction is included. This problem has now reached such proportions that many Bitcoin users have been demanding faster transaction processing for some time but there is no solution yet.

Cryptocurrencies based on DAG have a radically different approach: no blocks = no restrictions on the number of transactions, as well as no evil miners.

This will become another interesting thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1799665.20
Iota hasn't use the blockchain. The tangle system can solved the scalability problem. But my big question about, does DAG really decentralized at all. As you can see the network runs by the server to verifying the transaction.
I just need to learn more about this.
6180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we even need 99% altcoins when there is Lightning network? on: December 10, 2017, 10:24:57 PM
So once Bitcoin has lightning network you will be able to send payments INSTANTLY and very cheap. There will likely also be ways to send transactions anonymously.

What good are then so many altcoins that all they are trying to achieve is, to send fast/anonymous payments?

One reason against Bitcoin is, that you will still have to pay(likely expensive) on-chain fees. anything else though?
You are not seeing the latest update about the lightning network and it seems the community are not decided to implement the lightning network in the future, As the off-chain development and the community interested to doing another hardfork to solve the scalability problem of the bitcoin. the only altcoin tries to achieve it was ethereum.
