6161  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think would happen if all drugs became legal? on: August 14, 2016, 03:59:25 AM
I read somewhere in the the forum that after the silk road bust, online drugs sales has actually increased. so that got me wondering, what possible outcomes do you see if all drugs became legal? do you think that would make society better? worse? same?

I think once all drugs are legal the prices will start to fall. You don't need to buy your drugs in a dark alley anymore. You can just go to a store. There will be also less criminals involved with the drug when it can be legally imported in a country.

We will probably see more legalization if the weaker drugs.
6162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOTA2 PREDICTIONS ***FREE*** TI6 MAIN EVENT TIPS! on: August 14, 2016, 03:54:57 AM
GGWP to tnc and Liquid. I lost my three arcanas on tnc but I gained some $50 on bitcoin by choosing TnC +1. Well I guess tnc's drafting and initiation skills are still raw for this year's TI. I hope to still see them on majors and TI since they performed outstandingly well.

Wings and EG. I hope to see these two teams on the finals. Wink

You are right sir their drafting in the 2nd and especially in the third game against dc was really not so good in my opinion. Well things done well always be done so it would be wings and ehome for me in the finals.

EHOME is already eliminated by Fnatic in LB Round 4, so your dream prediction will not happen this time. Sad

Now it's Wings vs. DC 1-1, so I got dibs on Wings since they are looking strong throughout the whole tournament.

What ? EHOME eliminated by DC 0-2 dude. It's really unexpected Digital Chaos can go to final and DC also eliminated EG and now the final match Wings vs DC, Wings win game 3, the score now is 2-1.

Haha, my mistake. I forgot about MVP.Phoenix in the lower bracket, so yeah at least DC made it to the grand finals but lost to Wings Gaming.

A bit unexpected that final. I lost some money on this year's international. Let's hope the next major will be better.
6163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: August 14, 2016, 03:34:32 AM
since both are not safe but if you will ask me to choose one of them than i will suggest you to invest instead of gambling . but invest one btc in small small amount at other other site .

Yes investing your funds is much better than just gamble all away. You can take a small percentage of your bitcoins for gambling, but the majority should be invested. With gambling you have a negative expected value. The longer you play the higher the opportunity to lose it all.
6164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: August 14, 2016, 03:31:29 AM
I play dice for about 15 minutes per day or so, because I only spend my faucets on Primedice and Rollin.io. When I spend that, I go and play Poker and BlackJack, but that does not last longer than an hour per day because I also play them for free(faucets). It rounds up to about 2 hours per day or so.

Same here, 20 minutes a day is a good time to gamble. I always try my luck with a few faucets. 99% of the cases I just lose all the money. But there is always the small chance to win big.
6165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: August 14, 2016, 03:29:05 AM
the reason to gambling is for both fun amd profits
fun without profits is so suck
but profits without fun its meaningless, right?

I don't know man. With gambling there is always a lot of luck involved. You won't manage to win everyday when gambling. You should not link gambling and fun, better to control your emotions so a loss does not kill your mood.
6166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Skill Work? on: August 14, 2016, 03:24:08 AM

Yes Skill Works , I apply my skills when i am playing poker but in a poker where players vs players , Even with a bad cards you can win a hand by using your skill. Sometimes when i am already losing and i just want to leave even with a bad card i just bluff and sometimes i win the hand.

In your post you clearly mentioned that you can win losing the game only sometimes with skill but all other games you still lose so in gambling along with skill, we need some luck also to win. Without luck I don't think we can win any bet or game always. I bet only one certain sure games to increase my winning % instead going after all matches and so for lucky to make some profit in sports betting with my skills and luck.

Poker is the one gambling game where you don't play against the casino but against other players. And you still need luck to win the game. Skill helps you in some games but overall luck is the biggest factor in gambling.
6167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cyrpto vs Fiat on: August 14, 2016, 03:20:50 AM
For now we can't consider bitcoin yet to be in the same level of fiat or i think it would never happens. But comeon bitcoin allows you to transfer fiat to your love ones in somewhere else in the world with no fees.

There is a fee but its very minimum in compare to banks and other payment systems, but a moment fiat is more popular and much more in demand in compare to bitcoins as bitcoin is still very new to many people.

but that amount of fee is negligible if you are not doing a micro transaction.
in comparison when you send a thousand dollars using normal ways for fiat transfer you have to pay a percentage of the amount which is a very large amount depending on the method you use.
but when you use bitcoin it doesn't matter how big your amount of money is, the fee is always tiny amount.

Yeah the bitcoin fee for transactions is much lower than the fees you have to pay banks. Same with the  transaction time, a bank transfer takes 1-3 days depending on the countries involved. With bitcoins it takes a few minutes only.
6168  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: August 13, 2016, 08:42:58 PM
I consider it a good investment, if you are really willing to hold for the long term.

Yeah holding bitcoins for the long term is a good investment. The recent drop in bitcoin price was a good opportunitiy to buy some more coins.

usually some faucet give rewards 100-500 satoshi for every 60 minutes but regarding your faucet rewards i have to say that's was very low and increase the rewards or decrease the timer maybe will attract more people to visiting your faucet

Yeah I would increase the minimum payouts to make your site more attractive. 5 satoshi is not really a lot. Most Faucet sites have a minimum of 80-100 sat.
6170  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: August 13, 2016, 09:02:13 AM
if you have lots of money, it is good to hold bitcoin. but if you do not have money, it is better to grow bitcoin than just hold.

so when you grow and make a profit, you can save the most and hold for the long term.

Even if you have a lot of money but still it is better to keep them growing, if you dont want to risk them all then just do it with a half or just with a quarter of what you have, in that way if the price even drops in future you won't be in loss because you have been growing your bitcoins gradually with the time and if the price grows then you will earn a lot more profits then usual.
Holding is very simple, it just needs some patience, it is not necessary that you sell every time there is a price increase because that inrease could be more when you wait for a longer time, one should know how to have patience and treat his investment like a time deposit where there should be a definite time before you withdraw.

I bought some bitcoin in the middle of 2013. I have hold since then. I did not sell in later 2013, although I should sell with hindsight.

I would not sell your coins now if you don't need the money. It is better to hold them till 2017. The bitcoin price will rise again before year end.
6171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the cost of making a trade on an exchange? (I want to do a large number) on: August 13, 2016, 08:48:18 AM
How much does it cost to trade coins? I think some charge a small amount and some just charge for withdrawing coins. I am ESPECIALLY interested in 'yobit.net' and 'novaexchange', because it's easier to get a new coin added onto these..   Roll Eyes

Fees are normally around 0.2%. It varies from site to site. Some sites charge you addionatlly for withdrawing funds from their exchange.

6174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: August 13, 2016, 04:14:27 AM
No Bro I Don't Trust Bitcoin Casinos as They Only Scamming People For Their Money...
And Also There is Less Chances of Winning Bitcoins in the casino and I also Noted that A Casino Never Fails Because the Casino Owners are Scamming people.......
that is not true you can not blame a casino owner for your greed and mistakes every bitcoin casino gives prove that their game is not fixed or controled by someone its you who was playing with the system.

After the massive CS GO gambling scam I don't thin bitcoin casinos are any different. They appear to be trustworthy but there are definitely some black sheeps among them. I am only gambling with a few statoshis at the moment, so the pain in losing all in a scam is limited.

Tenochtitlan was the capital city of the Mexican civilization, consisting of the Mexica people, founded in 1325. The state religion of the Mexica civilization awaited the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy: that the wandering tribes would find the destined site for a great city whose location would be signaled by an Eagle eating a snake while perched atop a cactus.

The Aztecs saw this vision on what was then a small swampy island in Lake Texcoco, a vision that is now immortalized in Mexico's coat of arms and on the Mexican flag. Not deterred by the unfavourable terrain, they set about building their city, using the chinampa system (misnamed as "floating gardens") for agriculture and to dry and expand the island.

A thriving culture developed, and the Mexica civilization came to dominate other tribes around Mexico. The small natural island was perpetually enlarged as Tenochtitlan grew to become the largest and most powerful city in Mesoamerica. Commercial routes were developed that brought goods from places as far as the Gulf of Mexico, the Pacific Ocean and perhaps even the Inca Empire.

6179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: August 13, 2016, 04:07:16 AM

Not all the time, there are gamblers that are not after those excitement and thrilling life ,  sometimes they are after the profit...

Yup! I would agree with these, not all gambler mind set are the same and not all have the same goal when they are betting gambling, all of them have a different kind of way of thinking that is why some of them ending up addicted with gambling and some that can control the urge in getting addicted will still be the same that is why you can never say that all of them are like these and like that!

And I would like to add also that gambling is only for people with great control in gambling and who are matured enough to determine what is the right thing to do in gambling, one should not be easily tempted to follow his emotions and will resort to wrong decision making like chasing bets until he lose.
True, gambling always needs self-discipline/self-control, if you don't have this, for sure you will just wasting your time in gambling and you will just lose your money. If we see gambling as if we can earn money, better stop immediately because that is not good. But if we see gambling as just an entertainment and not to make profit then I think it is fine for you to play.

I agree with you. You need to control your emotions and manage your expectations before starting to gamble. It is best to gamble reasonably. Set your self a certain amount as max loss per day,and when you reach this loss stop to gamble. Don't get addicted.
6180  Other / Meta / Re: Show Post Count on: August 13, 2016, 03:59:31 AM
I have a suggestion for bitcoin forum, I think post count should be showed at postbit under avatar. I think apart from activity, post count is also important and quite relevant in deals and profiling other members.
Is there a reason why it is not showed there already?

I like this idea. The changes are or only minor and would require new space. The profile is big enough to show activity and post count together.
