This thread reminds me that over time I learned the meaning of "cycling merits".

I am one of those who hardly gives merits to lower ranked members and I have sent and received many from higher ranked ones.

Mind you, when I was a lower ranked member I did receive many merits from higher ranked ones.

I simply believe that there are few newbies and lower ranked members that stand out but when there are they receive a lot of merits, look at the case of n0nce for example.

n0nce that you mentioned is exceptional. In school there are students like that who are also referred to as gifted students but that does not make others who are not gifted like them dull. It is only that everybody will never have the same capacity to understand and interpret things at the same speed. Also you said you received alot of merits from higher ranks when you were lower rank but that you hardly give to lower ranked now that your are higher. Should that not be what you have to look into and change by being more compassionate to lower ranked members?
623  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: July 17, 2022, 06:08:27 AM
Well whatever you guys mean by structure in this context, and if you guys claim PDP and APC have this 'coveted' structure, then we do not want anymore of it, it is a "structure" that has taken Nigeria to the precipice. Next year let the structure be the individual and not the party, and that is what is going to happen. The race is between Obi, Tinubu and Atiku.

Oo, this brother just deh scatter my head with his points on this election thing. You deh on point. Na you sabi how to view this thing and respond to BatCornists. The way they scream structure structure e go be like say any special thing deh there weh no be to go and share money. E shock me when youths weh see how endsars take go and wetin the same sick Bat weh them deh support now take play for the matter. Nigeria youths and long throat for money worse pass our thief thief politicians.
624  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Why no bitcoin swap on Trust on: July 16, 2022, 10:48:17 AM
The only option you have is to swap your token into the Wbtc token and exchange it for the real BTC on an exchange like KuCoin.

That will mean doing a double transaction to get to something that is supposed to be a direct transaction. It is extra fee that ought to be avoided. I still do not understand why Trust Wallet made it stressful exchanging any token to bitcoin directly or even buying with any of the stablecoins there. It makes it look like Binance is not in full support of bitcoin since it is the owner of Trust Wallet. Another thing, with the type of ongoing fud with withdrawals on Kucoin I do not think it will be an exchange of example now.
625  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Why no bitcoin swap on Trust on: July 14, 2022, 12:15:49 PM

@2stout, that is what am worried about that I may likely find it difficult to transfer out the WBTC to exchanges after I have swapped to it or any other wrapped token of its kind. Is there another way to do it?

627  Economy / Economics / Re: EQONEX Launch a Physically backed Bitcoin ETN just launched in German on: July 14, 2022, 11:12:28 AM
Money talks and bullshit walks.

Funny way to say it, but that is true. People with money hardly get confronted with bullshit behaviour. Money controls nonsense behaviors. I like to ask if bitcoin ETN is the same thing as the ETF or is it referring to the ETN token that was created some years ago. Even from what news were making the rounds some years ago everyone would believe that by now the Bitcoin ETF will be a popular thing. That is not the case now from what is going on. We hardly hear about it.

You were NOT reprimanded, but given advice. Why are you angry? Improve your work.

He should be thanking those who posted to advise him and not to be offended by what suggestions they have made to him. This is not the time for pity if he wants to hear the truth, otherwise he will not be improving his writing skills if he wants to continue to hear and read flattering words. Truth is the bitter pill he has to swallow to improve.

630  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Why no bitcoin swap on Trust on: July 12, 2022, 06:25:07 AM

Am trying to swap an altcoin for Bitcoin on my Trust Wallet app but I can not find that option. I can swap for other tokens but not bitcoin. But I get to find related tokens with bitcoin tags like Wrapped Bitcoin, BBTC, BTCB, and I know they are not bitcoin because none of the addresses are the real bitcoin kind of address. I can find bitcoin in Trust Wallet and can transfer same to my wallet from other wallets but why can I not swap another token to it like I can do with others on Trust Wallet? Am not looking to buy with fiat as that is the only option there. Does anyone know how I can overcome this?

633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Discussion Thread on: July 05, 2022, 06:35:59 PM
Over the years, I have watched Rivers United become a very formidable team. They have evolved to become an indomitable force in the league.

Their goalkeeper actually kept 16 clean sheets from what I read online. It is interesting that his club finally won the league title for the season. There is another sad report I read about two first Division clubs in Sierra Leone that had scorelines of 91-1 and 95-0. It is a drama that shows how low match fixing in Africa has gone. That means each minute has a goal. Bad news for sure.

Here is link https://sportslens.com/news/sierra-leone-fa-investigating-scorelines/

Edited today July 11, 2022.

After yesterday's matches, I can confirm that Heartland FC and Kano Pillars have now be relegated even with one match remaining to the end of the season. The last day of the season will unveil the third club that will join them in relegation. What a shame for my darling Heartland. The administrators and handlers killed the club with their greed and corruption.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Discussion Thread on: July 04, 2022, 03:29:06 PM
Rivers United are very consistent in good performance,  they deserve victory.

Rivers United won the league even with many games to go. That is the way to do it like a champion. As for Heartland FC who are still in relegation region, they won their match with Sunshine Stars on Saturday by a lone goal but the players had to trek down to their various homes as there was no diesel to power the team's official bus to take the players back home. Heartland FC has become a laughing stock. It is a shame that the Heartland administrators are treating the players that way. Players are owed salaries and are forced to play on empty stomach.

636  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: July 04, 2022, 07:21:46 AM
This is exactly what I've been telling the so called OBIdient supporters on social media that election are not won online.
Why is this becoming a recurrent phrase, of course everyone knows that elections are not won online, but social media (online) is also a great/powerful tool to create awareness and to sensitize people about issues like this, and i see no wrong that Labour Party supporters are making good use of it, if it was the other way round i guess some people will be fine by it.

Senior man Coyster, you don talk everything finish. The way weh BAT supporters take deh advise Obidient fans on the use of social media go show you say fear deh them body. They know say na PO be the movement now. Even Kwankwaso weh they brag too know say without PO him no deh go anywhere. The way they advise PO supporters come make am look like say them no deh use social media themselves. They talk about structure. What is structure if no be the corruption weh we deh pass through for their hands.

It's too early for the bear market to be over, I am saying this because many think we have hit the bottom when ethereum made it to 900$, its not over and you shouldn't be buying coins with all you have, this is a fake out recovery.
I'm not sure $900 is the bottom. Now investors will be given new hope for growth, and then there will be a new price dump to $500 or a little lower.
Until the whales have most of the coins, there will be no new pamp.

You put your own comment inside the quote of Ketesnuko. I know it is a mistake as I already know you as an established member.

It's too early for the bear market to be over, I am saying this because many think we have hit the bottom when ethereum made it to 900$, its not over and you shouldn't be buying coins with all you have, this is a fake out recovery.

At what point do you think the market will be ripe to buy altcoins then? If you think we have not made it to the bottom, it means you have a point you think will be the bottom. Can you share that with us because I want to buy too with minimised risk. If Ethereum price ever goes to the $500 that zasad@ is speculating the market will be on real fire. Alot of people will freak out.
638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you struggle learning about bitcoin? on: June 28, 2022, 05:24:42 PM
Well I know you feel ashamed based on your merited Rank, but there is no shame in seeking knowledge.

That is not the reason I feel ashamed. It is not about my merited rank. If we are talking about rank, am supposed to be a legendary rank from the activities I have acquired. Am concerned and worried because of the length of time I have known about bitcoin but yet am finding it hard to fully understand it. But now that I know am not the only old member who is still finding bitcoin difficult to understand I feel relieved that am not a dullard.
