621  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what sustains the BTC price on: January 05, 2014, 04:37:31 PM
The price is based on offer and demand. exchanger handle the buy/sell requests together and the higher the demand the stability. BTC's isn't directly backed like regular currencies but it does have it's benefits.
622  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bicoin biggest scam in the early history !!! on: January 05, 2014, 04:34:40 PM
Bicoin is biggest scam in the early history,
Mining company buy bitcoion and constantly raises his prices, and again sell bitcoin, and so the circle,
its most centralized currency the world has ever seen

Check difficulity, each 10 days its up about 25-35 % , and after the bitcoin price jump about 25 - 35%.  Huh

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

Cleaning mining hardware has begun, after that game iz over, will no longer be nobody that raises the price and Bitcoin is dead.

623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mtgox delay on verification on: January 05, 2014, 04:33:12 PM
What can you expect from mtgox? USD withdrawals delayed,Even some BTC's withdrawals requires days to be processed.
624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mini private keys on: January 05, 2014, 04:09:09 PM
I too think this isn't a good idea, and the security of addresses and bitcoin is more important. also a QR code can be easily put on those metals and with the wide use of smartphones it might be of the same benefit.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CAGE] CageCoin pool cage2.valid-error.com has 75% of total hashing power on: January 05, 2014, 04:00:26 PM
That looks like a real weakness having a single pool taking as much as this of the network mining. and most people deal with DOGE as a joke but it's still a currency and there are people investing in it.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: QUARK COIN on: January 05, 2014, 03:58:55 PM
Quarks does looks like a nice coin. but generally alt-currencies are sometimes so unstable and if you are in the right side you might profit but if you were in the wrong side then your investment might be decreased by as much as 80% or more.
627  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CoinAd.com on: January 05, 2014, 03:56:56 PM
it's working for me now... try again it might have been a small downtime and try isitdownorjustme.com to confirm if it's a general downtime or not.
628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Joining Pool with CPU on: January 05, 2014, 03:46:28 PM
mBTC's  Cheesy it's barely in satoshi level. and with all the ASIC's even GPU's are getting outdated. You might some more profit on a CPU only currency like XPM. I tried mining Protoshare for sometime and it wasn't very profitable.
629  Other / Meta / Re: Changing avatars is currently not possible. on: January 05, 2014, 03:42:06 PM
There was a hack related to avatars (the one before the last one) . They were disabled from few months.
630  Other / Meta / Re: Avatar and my activty.... on: January 05, 2014, 03:41:25 PM
Of course you will be stuck at 14 activity for days as it requires a 2 weeks duration to jump to the next level (and you posting enough)
avatar modification is currently disabled for everyone.
631  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase - Is There A Way To See "Total $ Invested" At A Glance? on: January 05, 2014, 03:39:55 PM
I don't think there is a way to see them all. just use a calculator Tongue.
632  Other / Meta / Re: "Last Post" Nonsense on: January 05, 2014, 02:52:29 PM
The limit become higher at some activity level (28 activity?). If you have a dynamic IP it should be easy to simple disconnect and re-connect to change you IP as the limit isn't related to your user but just the IP.
633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: japanese bank account for foreigners on: January 05, 2014, 02:48:54 PM
First of all online isn't an option. you need to have a physical presence at the country and full papers (well like almost any country),Identity proofs. Japan is one of the strict countries regarding banking and financial details.
634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to get money from BTC on: January 05, 2014, 02:45:45 PM
Bank deposits is a popular option but of course the money will pass through the bank and therefore maybe tax'ed and with fees. Cash in mail for some countries and SEPA and Bankwires to some but each of them has some disadvantages. Some people prefer Face to face which may be risky as you will meet a stranger while holding BTC's.
635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wiring larger sums from exchange to bank account on: January 05, 2014, 02:41:59 PM
I have no experience in this but out of common sense and the AML policies etc etc... Withdrawing as much as this to a bank account (and maybe even from bitstamp side sending this much on one payment) might trigger multiple alarms. You should contact a lawyer to know all the legal details. also IMO try to break them into smaller bits if you can.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: E-bay ,paypal on: January 05, 2014, 02:33:48 PM
I doubt they will care. To them bitcoins is a competitor in offering money transmitting services for a fee incomparable to there's. Don't expect them to facilitate it's exchange.
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone here ever actually received an anonymous donation? on: January 05, 2014, 02:30:17 PM
I am just adding an address. it sounds cool to just get a tip for posting your opinion Tongue . I saw someone saying that his wallet is full of 1-5 BTC's donations (from 2011) so maybe someday this 0.00001 will equal what a BTC is worth today.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long before Bitcoin appears in a movie??? on: January 05, 2014, 02:26:14 PM
it came on Simpsons as a small note but getting a movie for it is too difficult (maybe a documentary but a Hollywood movie?). there might be a movie closely related to BTC's though, The SilkRoad one  Shocked
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity not allowing Bitcoin on: January 05, 2014, 02:23:53 PM
Someway predicted, it still need sometime for bitcoins to be used in investments and few debates and conflicts to pass through. also for some stability in price.
640  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dinosaur didn't die 65 millions years ago, they are still alive today on: January 05, 2014, 02:21:01 PM
Funny video, Though the title is misleading making you think they have an actual proof like a living dinosaur or dragon being captured  Tongue .
