好像还没看到NXT的中文名字,我帮着取了两个,各位看看合适不。
1,朴实无华接地气:加瓦币
2,高端大气上档次:嘉威币

Perhaps we should get somebody that speaks Chinese to look at this, the Google translation shows a possible problem worth considering:

NXT seems to have not seen the Chinese name, I helped get two, you do not look appropriate.
1, unpretentious ground gas: Bhargava currency
2, high-grade atmosphere: Cartwright currency

Selecting a good Chinese name is historically difficult, with Coca-Cola being a legendary example I've heard about - "bite the wax tadpole":

Another way of saying this is that if you run a forging node (open wallet) with 1000 NXT with everyone else online, you will earn only 1 NXT for every 1 million NXTs that are charged as fees.  Thus you will "double" your 1000 NXT initial forging stake only when THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF AVAILABLE NXT has cycled through once not as transactions, but FEES.

U don't take into account compound percentage.

Which is why my next sentence says "It's a little more complicated...".  I understand better (though probably still imperfectly) about the forging system.  To me the key point is there's a random aspect about it (you get all the transaction fees in a block you process and who knows what those fees will be) so you can never accurately predict what you will make via forging.  There is no formula.

To summarize forging in a single sentence to an outsider, I think you have to make a Louis Armstrong statement ("If you have to ask what jazz is, you ain't never gonna know") - if you care about how much you're going to make via NXT forging, it won't be enough to motivate you.

Hey guys,

I see there is a lot of info here, but I can't find what I am searching...

I want a NXT mining calculator. There is such a tool?

https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,104.0.html

There is no mining in NXT.  If you have your wallet client open, you occasionally earn a minimal fee for processing a block ("forging") when it's your turn.  It isn't your turn very often.  The more NXT in your wallet, the more often it is your turn.  From a previous post of mine:

"Another way of saying this is that if you run a forging node (open wallet) with 1000 NXT with everyone else online, you will earn only 1 NXT for every 1 million NXTs that are charged as fees.  Thus you will "double" your 1000 NXT initial forging stake only when THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF AVAILABLE NXT has cycled through once not as transactions, but FEES.

Maybe it's just me, but I gotta say that forging does not seem to be a very good motivation for running a node."

Actually it's a little more complicated than that, but trust me, you're not gonna get very far on NXT with a miner mindset.  NXT was designed as its key feature to totally eliminate mining.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ADT Androids Tokens repair plan on: December 29, 2013, 09:40:27 AM
zack, maybe you can ask mudda(COL's boss) to help you, COL is similar to ADT

I cant believe that I have now sent out over 500 messages and not had a single person that can fix code what's needed or someone that will make the new block chain

( tried all of the well known devs and 90% of the altcoins devs  )

So that long list of leads I gave has all been dead ends?  How many actually responded back, even with a no?  Just curious....

I gotta confess, I voted but through clenched teeth - my apologies to the entrants, who I'm sure gave it their best.  None of those logos turn me on and I bet the whole logo thing gets revisited before we go a year.  NXT is too important a program to limp along getting introduced to the public via a confusing or uninspiring logo.

The source is here, I only remember that in first days, there were more than 50 millions sold, in the forums, for a bargain prices Cheesy

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg4107001#msg4107001

+ Bitcoin data come from the web

I think you need to do more research and make sure this is right before you distribute your video.  Give me a few minutes to research something and I will get back to you.

I am very surprised.  I have just run a rough "audit" of the first month of dgex.com based on the (433 pages!!!) data at http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=100 for the dgex account of 6635869272840226493.  I think the data pretty conclusively shows that right at 228,000,000 million NXT coins have been deposited by around 810 deposits there since the exchange opened on November 28.  Since roughly 28,000,000 are still on deposit at the site, the rest or 200,000,000 million have indeed been withdrawn by around 3500 withdrawals.   If 50 million were indeed sold here in the forums outside of dgex.com, then it is a fact that within the past 30 days at least 25% of all NXT in existence has been exchanged to a new owner.   This is a nearly amazing number to me and something to throw in the face of anybody that calls NXT a scam.

Let me crunch the spreadsheet numbers some more and I will post some more interesting facts.

In the meantime, salsacz, not only have you made an excellent video, it is going to spread some very important truths and facts about NXT.   I say distribute it as widely as you can!!!

That is such an misleading statement. I can make 100 deposits and 100 withdrawals on DGEX and it's still the same person. You gotta check the unique addresses, and verify that they actually belong to unique individuals. I'm not saying that the number could be close to that, or higher, but you can't make these assumptions based on number of deposits/withdrawals alone.

I agree that I have not made an airtight case.  That's why I said "rough" audit, and after cutting and pasting for the better part of an hour I think a better "audit" needs some better automated tools - or at least access to more than 10 blockchain items per page.

I am indeed making an assumption - that if a group deposits 200 million NXT on an exchange website, then it is sold to somebody else.  That's not a bad assumption, I think.  Before the data went out for some reason on Dec 26, there had been over 250 million NXT sold at Dgex.  That low deposit-to-net-trade ratio seems to indicate buy-and-hold a lot more than speculative trading - and certainly supports the contention that all 200 million NXT deposited and later withdrawn were actually sold to someone else and not withdrawn by the original depositor before a sale.

As for tracking individual account ownership - good luck with that.  Rough audits are all we will ever get to some level.  Technically you can set up new accounts and launder money from a genesis block through Dgex right back to yourself and nobody will ever know.  So it's possible that there is zero NXT outside the hands of the founders - except for what I got on Dec 19 for myself.

. So stop bitching and be thankful to be apart of this project.
These future  Sergey and Larry will make you very rich even though you don't know who they are.

This is my attitude and belief.  I play poker.  After a lot of research, I went all-in on NXT on Dec 19 for a 4M+ stake.  (Yes, it's money I can afford to lose, but it would certainly be a non-trivial loss).  I'm sitting on it until I see geosynchronous satellites out the window on the way to the moon.  Start the countdown.

Might be stupid...but what does cumulative represent?

multiply it by 100 and it is the cumulative percentage of the total Dgex deposits over the past 30 days to that point in the table.

There is no stupid.

OK, inquiring minds want to know (for those of you outside the US, that is the motto or slogan for a very trashy gossip newspaper here called the National Enquirer) just who has cashed in on their NXT windfall over the past 30 days.  And so here's the top 50, who account for about 90% of the 200M NXT distributed to the masses so far:

Hello friends,
I have finally completed a brand new profesionally looking introducing video for the Nxt hompage. It took me 6 days and long nights (one day up to 7 AM), but finally here it is:

http://wideo.co/view/1504591387756502643-nxt-generation-of-cryptocurrency

Do not hesitate to comment video now, I can change or improve it before releasing it to the other platforms.

Salsa, I have watched this video several times and I think if is fantastic.  You did a very good job.

I want to question and discuss one part of your video.    This is a very important point and it needs to be correct before it gets mass distribution.

You say 30% of all NXT has changed OWNERS in the first 21 days, and then you compare this with Bitcoin saying only 22% of mined Bitcoin has changed owners in five years.

I do not know if this is really true.  I would like to know how you calculated this number.

I wonder if the true thing to say is that either:

1. 30% of NXT has been moved out of the original genesis block accounts to other, new accounts (maybe still owned by the same genesis block owner) ; or

2. The total volume of NXT exchanged at DGEX in three weeks is over 300 million NXT.

One or both of these statements can be true without 300 million NXT going from the genesis block founders to new owners.

You are trying to say that NXT coin is being freely distributed among the people.  We all want that because it is an important step for NXT to gain credibility as a true currency.  But I do not know how we can say yet that 300 million NXT is in the hands of people that had zero NXT a month ago.

So... please discuss.  What is the source of your facts about 30% of NXT changing owners?

You have to set your aliases in java nxt, forward them to the account you wish

I own jef and trixie with my main account, forwarded trixie to point to her account and created richardrutowicz from his own account

In theory I could buy accounts for anyone, say superwonderfulamazing and point it to CfB and anyone who sent nxt to that account, would be forwarded through the alias system to him

An app that IS in the Play Store that helps load yours is:

I just keep going on and on about the Raspberry Pi and its critical role in NXT...

Here's a suggestion for possible inclusion the upcoming 0.4.8 version of client software: a small Raspberry Pi icon on the right side of the center area icons, next to the dark silhouette figure / Accounts button (which when clicked only opens up an "in development" window).   Clicking on this icon would bring up a Public Service Announcement (PSA) saying that as a NXT cryptocurrency owner, it's in everybody's best interest for them to sink $50 more at Newarks and set up a Pi node and leave it running continuously for the good of the NXT network.  Followed by further background on why, links on where to go for further info and software images, etc. etc.

The bigger NXT gets, the bigger the DDoS waves are going to get in the future.  It's not too early to think about soldier recruitment advertising in preparation for this all out war.

and Chelsea Manning? Smiley

I've never heard about him.

Are you joking, or serious?  Hard to tell from the look I see on your face.  You should play poker, like me....

Now that the USS NRS Enterprise has been making successful test flights, we have to get ready for our first trip outside the solar system, scheduled for Jan 03.

What a fine voyage that shall be with this fine ship and crew, sir.   Good luck to us all!

I know you've got a million things to look at in the code, please allow me to bring one more to your attention that I have mentioned earlier to CfB.  With the looming and critical importance of the Raspberry Pi to NXT, I suggest for monitoring purposes that a peer in the client list be identified as a Pi and designated by a raspberry-colored "star" (as a variation on the current blue) beside the software version it is running.   Basically, if NXT is running on an Armv6 processor, it's running on a Pi.  See:  http://htpcbuild.com/hardware/standalone-htpc-build/raspberry-pi-htpc/raspberry-pi-codec-license-install/ for details.

For those of you that are interested in the exciting RaspPi story:

I've opened my RPi NXT server to the net. Access it by: https://raspnxt.hopto.org:7875

Just in case you wonder how NRS performs on an RPi.

Feel free to try out testing or even "serious" addresses, as both IP and RPi are completely under my control. That is, only if you trust my network, of course. Cool

Very nice, up and running my toy 10NXT account on your Pi no problem.  I'm showing 6 active peers.  I will mine a block in only 6243 days!

So...my account is running on this one Pi until...when?  Indefinitely?  Until you or somebody else kicks me off?  Or I get off to give somebody else a turn?  How many Pis do you have hooked up at this web address?
