I have 490+ transactions in my gui from creating aliases (I feel like I inputed significantly more than 500x tbh. oh well.)... But blockchain only shows 200-ish Fees total and the transaction ID's aren't on the blockchain... Did I just waste 9 fukkin hours on that shit for nothing   !!?!

I think you need to do more research and make sure this is right before you distribute your video.  Give me a few minutes to research something and I will get back to you.

I am very surprised.  I have just run a rough "audit" of the first month of dgex.com based on the (433 pages!!!) data at http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=100 for the dgex account of 6635869272840226493.  I think the data pretty conclusively shows that right at 228,000,000 million NXT coins have been deposited by around 810 deposits there since the exchange opened on November 28.  Since roughly 28,000,000 are still on deposit at the site, the rest or 200,000,000 million have indeed been withdrawn by around 3500 withdrawals.   If 50 million were indeed sold here in the forums outside of dgex.com, then it is a fact that within the past 30 days at least 25% of all NXT in existence has been exchanged to a new owner.   This is a nearly amazing number to me and something to throw in the face of anybody that calls NXT a scam.

Let me crunch the spreadsheet numbers some more and I will post some more interesting facts.  

In the meantime, salsacz, not only have you made an excellent video, it is going to spread some very important truths and facts about NXT.   I say distribute it as widely as you can!!!

That is such an misleading statement. I can make 100 deposits and 100 withdrawals on DGEX and it's still the same person. You gotta check the unique addresses, and verify that they actually belong to unique individuals. I'm not saying that the number could be close to that, or higher, but you can't make these assumptions based on number of deposits/withdrawals alone.

I agree that I have not made an airtight case.  That's why I said "rough" audit, and after cutting and pasting for the better part of an hour I think a better "audit" needs some better automated tools - or at least access to more than 10 blockchain items per page.  

I am indeed making an assumption - that if a group deposits 200 million NXT on an exchange website, then it is sold to somebody else.  That's not a bad assumption, I think.  Before the data went out for some reason on Dec 26, there had been over 250 million NXT sold at Dgex.  That low deposit-to-net-trade ratio seems to indicate buy-and-hold a lot more than speculative trading - and certainly supports the contention that all 200 million NXT deposited and later withdrawn were actually sold to someone else and not withdrawn by the original depositor before a sale.  

As for tracking individual account ownership - good luck with that.  Rough audits are all we will ever get to some level.  Technically you can set up new accounts and launder money from a genesis block through Dgex right back to yourself and nobody will ever know.  So it's possible that there is zero NXT outside the hands of the founders - except for what I got on Dec 19 for myself.

Is anybody familiar with the marketing concept of positioning? It is what big companies spend millions of dollars to achieve the top spot in a ladder of products. I say cola, you say either Coke or Pepsi. There are probably dozens of other colas, but those are the two that people automatically respond with.

This is no accident. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent and sometimes misspent, remember New Coke, just to get people to remember their product.

NXT needs to establish the top position in a strong positive category. I have a plan on how to achieve a very powerful position for NXT that will allow it to eventually exceed bitcoin's market cap. I would think that most people reading this forum would kind of like that. However, I get the sense that maybe the community wants to just focus on the tech and not bother with messy marketing stuff.

I would love to be able to work 100% on NXT, but it seems that the community doesn't feel like it is important or maybe I am not the right person, then somebody else do this. NXT needs marketing focus or it will be the best crypto that the public doesn't want.

I gotta confess, I voted but through clenched teeth - my apologies to the entrants, who I'm sure gave it their best.  None of those logos turn me on and I bet the whole logo thing gets revisited before we go a year.  NXT is too important a program to limp along getting introduced to the public via a confusing or uninspiring logo.
