I even gave him the opportunity to have the coin implemented in an upcoming RPG and he couldn't even do that. There have been no commits to the coin on GitHub... EVER. I'm starting to think he doesn't even know how to code and this is just a copy and paste with a premine. So either it's a scam or he's completely incompetent.

How about you dump your premine at 16 satoshis and turn the coin over to the community? I don't think you have a clue where to go from here.

Earth to dev, come in dev.

I wasn't saying you weren't. I was just putting that out BEFORE it happened... so you'd have that option in mind if it became relevant.

How's the logo coming along?

Do you know of anyone that can consult with me on implementing payment processing for the coin? I can help expand its use.

Hey dev, the second you decide to abandon this project give me the keys. I'm holding way too much of it to let it die.

Still have 5 million. Extracted a little BTC from that dip. Wink
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / C++/Linux Proficient Altcoin Dev Needed on: September 18, 2014, 11:04:49 PM
I'm launching a coin as an IPO for an RPG that will then accept the coin. The game is mostly done, and has been online with paying players in the past.

I'm a C# developer, though. I plan to brush up on C++ so I can maintain/improve the coin, but I don't feel that I'm the right person to get the ball rolling. I'm looking for someone proficient in C++ and Linux who can help decide which coin to clone, can help to properly modify it in the most basic ways, and essentially ensure everything is in working order to launch. I'm not looking for fancy upgrades or features. I'm looking for a basic, solid coin with fast transactions. This should be fairly simple for the right person.

I'm looking for someone with experience, not someone who is just learning to code. If you've actually launched a coin before, even better.

I totally agree with you, and I was one of the ones bitching before, but just a few posts up are a couple by him saying, basically, update by the weekend. Sometimes coins with erratic dev announcements are the most volatile, which can benefit the experienced trader. The people getting antsy now are the people who bought during one of the spikes and frankly I think they want out... so they're impatient.

I've been through all of this half a dozen times. Last month I was sitting on a pile of ICG and people were freaking about the price. Then it went up 3-4x and suddenly people were crowing. I held through it all and made my rent. This month is starting to look the same. Kinda my own fault for putting too many eggs in one basket, but it'll pay off in the end. I can't count the number of times in crypto I've gone from "OMG, I'm going to have to find a day job quick" to "I'm rich bitch!" in the space of 10 minutes.

The patient... and the experienced... will profit here. The rest will come and go like they always do... and thanks for the rent money. =)

Dev,pls be more active!

He's plenty active. He's doing what devs do... developing. Not babysitting. This is not a business with public relations or tech support. Can't expect that. He's made it clear what he's doing and when we can expect another update. Buy, hold, or sell and move on =)
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FLEX] Flexiblecoin |New Block Reward Structure|Bittrex, Cryptsy on: September 15, 2014, 06:36:10 PM
My guess is that the dev won't address any concerns until he's done buying. Either that or he's just a self-absorbed prick.

Either way, I'm still holding. This is hardly a new thing. As soon as all the impatient noobs have dumped for cheap the price will have no choice but to go up. This is how us patient non-noobs make money, so just enjoy the cheap coins and wait for the dev to pull his head out of his ass.

A pumper spots a low priced coin and tries to pump it. What does that have to do with the coin itself or the coin's dev? Nothing.

This coin hasn't reached a price worth dumping 1%. I'm a game dev and I sometimes go quiet for 2 weeks straight when I'm working hard and "in the zone".

They're doing a logo contest. Enough FUD. We see your orders at 33 and 34 sats.

This is the floor. If you're a supporter you deserve to get back in first, so heads up... we won't do much volume this low.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CannabisCoin [CANN][X11][Official][420] Developments & Discussions. on: September 06, 2014, 10:22:45 AM
- 420 = CANN

What does this mean?
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best & Fastest PoS Coin to Clone on: September 05, 2014, 07:44:45 PM
One last bump for suggestions.

I'm looking for FAST, STABLE, SECURE. "Features" are all back seat. This coin has one job to perform... quick and reliable wealth transfer.

I think it would be better to have the alias fees be destructive, rather than a lottery.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best & Fastest PoS Coin to Clone on: September 02, 2014, 05:57:39 AM
Oh, I'm not too interested in anon. Not sure why anyone would care about payments to online games. =)

I also intend to move to a different country once I'm somewhat established and can afford to. The U.S. has turned into a craphole.

I'm not anonymous at all.

Will consider that.

For the record, this game is finished (or was before the revamp began) and had been online with paying players for several years. My websites also are not anonymous, so it's very easy to verify this isn't a scam.

The game is called Thorns of War.
