That may be due to the lack of preparations. England warmed up for the world cup with an ODI series against Ireland back home. And one of their world cup warmup matches got washed out. On the other hand, Australia prepared really well and managed an ODI series against India just before the world cup. And the results are out there for everyone to see. Australian batsmen are handling the spinners quite well, and the England batsman are struggling against the spinners. And now the remaining matches doesn't matter because they are already out of contention for the semi-finals.

I would think that if forum members are buying BTC for the long run, they likely are not going to be creating too many changes in their plan merely based on BTC price moves that are only within about 10% of (or less than) the 200-week moving average - which 200 WMA is just around $28,200.  Sure they may also consider their own costs per BTC, and even consider if they want to make plans regarding how much in profits would their bitcoin need to become in order for them to consider starting to shave off some of their BTC or have they even gotten to that kind of higher stage of shaving off some profits when so many newbie members are likely still in their earlier BTC accumulation stages - which might could well mean that they don't really change anything unless they get to more advanced stages that might involve lessening how much BTC they accumulate when the BTC prices are going up.  There should not be any kind of an universal answer... but surely it can take people 1-2 or even more BTC cycles to really get to a place where they believe that they have enough BTC or even more than enough BTC that they can start to shave off some profits or to otherwise change their BTC accumulation strategies in meaningful ways that transitions into more of a maintenance stage.

Currently there is a lot of discussion about the bull market and ETF. I personally don't want to waste time on whether that bull market or ETF is approved or not. After gathering a little knowledge about Bitcoin and its long-term investment benefits, I no longer have to worry about whether the price of Bitcoin will go up or down. My focus now is on how much I am able to grow my portfolio. My income is very less than many but I don't worry because I follow DCA. I know I'm behind them but I don't want to be left behind in the long run. Those who dream big about bitcoin must consider its long-term investment.

Afghanistan bowlers especially spinner bowling Noor Ahmad bowl well picked up 2 important wicktes in 5 Overs and Omarzai all round bowlers picked 1 wickets by giving 18 runs in 3 overs.  Rashid Khan didn't picked any wicket today but his economy rate is very good in 5 Over they only give 16 runs. If Pakistan will win this match they will set a 270 plus target on Board for Afghanistan.

Pakistan team has already lost one more wicket and collected 151 runs for 3 wickets in 32 overs. If they could have sustained the partnership they had in the beginning, then they could have scored 200 runs by now. But unfortunately due to the loss of wickets the run rate has decreased. But if Pakistan can't score above 280 today, it will be very difficult to win against Afghanistan. Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel are two batsmen at the crease at the moment, if they can form a good partnership then they can collect good runs.  As you are saying not to go above 250, but I think if Babar Azam survives till the end then 280 is possible. And if Babar Azam gets out, it will be difficult for Pakistan team to score 250 runs.

We are at 30K and not at 300K that you start off thinking some other strategy:

For me, I will keep on DCA till we reach the All time High, After that i may not DCA but start to take profit slowly. But remember that 30,000$ price is not a price where one should think of taking profit. No doubt if you have been buying in previous months and weeks, you may be at a loss but why to sell at these prices which are still cheap for bitcoin, makes no sense.

If you do not have any urgent need for money, better keep holding.

Yeah actually mate the strategy should always be to keep accumulating because you cannot quit accumulating just because you saw the Bitcoin price ranging between $30k and you feel the price has gone way more than the price you normally wish to buy, but perhaps seeing the Bitcoin price $30k should have been a motivation to keep accumulating because it has become a crystal clear that Bitcoin price has beginning to peak up and the possibility of dropping back to the previous dip may not be possible, and since it has been given this positive moves shows that the possibility of the price to continue growing is possible so the best way is to keep accumulating using the normal DCA strategy to slowly accumulating consistently.

But however if you feel you have enough capital to Lump sum is also your decision to make so if you feel using lump sum will not affect your financial state you can go ahead.

Honestly this thread has really been of a great help to us especially on my Bitcoin investment journey, however just like they said information is power before I came here I had no good strategy on accumulating Bitcoin and I had no knowledge about DCA and the only strategy that comes to my mind then is Lump sum and it affected my Bitcoin accumulation because I used all I had that time to buy Bitcoin and later on I ran out of funds and it affected me seriously then.

But coming here became a game changer for me and I was able to learn different strategies I never new existed, so this thread is like a school of thought were we can learn different accumulatimg strategy from each other but however all thanks to @Jay who has been really of a great help to everyone here through his wonderful ideas that will guide us on our Bitcoin journey.

Yeah and most of them didn't even have regular contracts and few used to get payment as low as $200-300 per match.

Hardly anyone cares about cricket in the Netherlands but their recent win against SA did get some traction in the Print media and made into the front page of the sports section which is an encouraging sign.

The result of the match of England vs South Africa was not good for England, because they were all out with 170 scores and they lost the match with a very bad run rate, and now England's team again come on bottom in the point table.

De Cock lost his wicket early and England make happy but the other opener Reeza Hendricks hit too many scores and Ben Stoke also don’t perform well in this match. He is playing after injury but they forgive their form. I hope that Ben Stokes will perform in future matches. The England team didn’t play well after winning the World Cup of 2022.

Match already finished now and Nepal won the match with excellent performance. They took the first turn and gave huge target to Hong Kong team. They made 213 runs on the lost of 6 wickets after that Hong Kong played and made only 134 runs in 20 overs with the lost of 8 wickets. Nepal is leading in this Tri-Nation Series.

South Africa performed well in the first two matches. They won by big margins against Sri Lanka and Australia. But in the last match the team suffered an unexpected defeat against the Netherlands and lost by 38 runs against the Netherlands. That is why it is very important for South Africa to win today's match. On the other hand, out of 3 matches, England lost both. Therefore, if they do not win today's match, it will become more difficult for England to qualify for the semi-finals.

South Africa is not batting well. They are under pressure at the beginning of the innings. South Africa lost de Kock's important wicket for just 4 runs. And at the end of 6 overs South Africa collected only 18 runs. I think England will be able to win today's match.

A comprehensive victory for Australia as they defeated Pakistan by 62 runs in Bengaluru. This Back to back victories for Australia have propelled them to the fourth spot in the points table, while New Zealand maintains their top position in world cup. Marcus Stoinis took 2 wickets his bowling figures  2/40 in 5 Overs  and captain Pat Cummins shine with the ball also took 2 wickets for Australia against Pakistan.David Warner was awarded the player of the match for his incredible performance Scored 163 runs against Pakistan. Adam Zampa spin bowl to much that difficulty for Pakistan batters in Bengaluru on a flat deck he took 4/53 wickets in 10-Overs and Win match for Australia all Out Pakistan 305 runs.

Adam Zampa destroyed the Pakistani batting line up, he took all the important wickets of Pakistan. Another defeat for the Pakistani side with very poor batting performance. The whole team depends on the batting of Babar Azam and Rizwan. If these two are not able to score good runs then the batting line up always collapses. As seen today, Paskistan got a good start but were not able to capitalize it after Babar got out. A great comeback by the Australian team as this win will help them on the points table. They are now on the fourth place on the points table that will surely boost their morale.

Australia's two opening batsmen had a monster batting start against Pakistan today. The way Mitchell Marsh and Debit Warner opened the batting looked like they would go for 400 plus runs against Pakistan. The bowler that Pakistan is using in the bowling attack is spending 10 to 15 runs at the end of the over. Haris Rauf came to the ball in the first over and gave away 24 runs and in the subsequent overs he spent around 12 plus runs. If Pakistan can't get these two batsmen out then a mountain of targets is waiting for Pakistan. After the first 16 overs, Australia scored 134 runs against Pakistan. What no team has been able to do against Pakistan in a World Cup tournament, Australia may be about to do it today.

The way Australia are batting now, I feel they will give 300+ target in today's match. After a long time we see a great start from Australia opening pair. The team collected 88 runs in just 11 overs. Australia have not lost a wicket yet. Warner is unbeaten with 45 runs from 34 balls and Mitchell marsh is unbeaten with 36 runs from 32 balls. Pakistani bowlers are not able to do anything. Except Shaheen Shah Afridi, every bowler's performance is very erratic. haris rouf gave 24 runs in 1 over in today's match we are probably going to see the dominance of Australia.
