At this point, I thought that England could have got a lead of at least 120-150. But then the partnership between Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav took the match away from them. Even after Kuldeep got out, Akash Deep added 40 valuable runs for the 9th wicket along with Jurel. And the England captain made the mistake by under-utilizing the pacers (James Anderson and Ollie Robinson).
In just 24 hours from being on the verge of collapse the Indian team changed the situation and is now slowly inching towards another victory. To an extent Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav made this happen. Jurel 90 runs to the scoreboard and Yadav's contribution through bat and taking 4 wickets change the match. Dhruv Jurel played well and yes he was unsuccessful in getting his first 100 in test cricket. The other thing that I noticed is that the wicket was very effective for spinners as the new guy Bashir was able to get 4 wickets. India started very well as Ashwin got all the important batters early on in the game and finished the second innings with a fifer. Kuldeep again bowled very well, he took 4 wickets and not to forget he was the one supporting Jurel when India needed to chase those runs. The lead is not so big and last when I saw India needed 155 runs to win the fourth test. Two days are still left but Indian batter have to take all their time to chase those runs and win the series. We will have the result by tomorrow for sure, especially in the 2 sessions. India has to start with caution and aggression in the morning and let them go out of their box which is enough to win the match and I feel definitely the series in the hands now even though we still need 150 odd runs cause the wickets in hand is 10. The lead is of only 152 runs and either India will be able to chase it or lose all its wickets. The way both Indian openers played yesterday it looked like India should get those runs. But, the early morning conditions are different to the end of day condition. Therefore I agree with you that first 15 overs they need to play cautiously. If the are able to bat without losing any wickets then India would be able to win the match and the series. |

They are playing far better than expected. I never thought that they would clean sweep a series that they are not playing at home. Looks like Ethereum is again back and above $3k today as Bitcoin price spiked once again. It went to $3047 and now is hovering around the price point of $3037 which is a good sign as whenever it breaks the 3k price point it gets dragged below very soon.
