623  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Buying aircraft for BTC on: May 27, 2011, 11:13:27 PM
Open offer: 10,000 BTC for http://www.cessna.com/single-engine/skycatcher.html

Currently about 115,00 USD each. I would like a *brand new* one (less than 50 hours) delivered to any airport of my choice in the USA.

If you're looking to put serious money into bitcoin, but don't want to move the market, this is an option.

You didn't happen to sell a pizza in an earlier life, did you?

Ha. I'm sure 10k bitcoins will buy planes, castles and small islands in the near future. I'll settle for a small plane.

I have a red paperclip if someone would like to trade.
624  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Penny Dish, Leave a BTC, Take a BTC on: May 27, 2011, 09:13:46 PM
I've never seen anything so naive...

For just one valid criticism, a "penny dish" in RL is not an "$8 dish"...

Ita not $8 usd, its $0.08 usd, till the decimal is moved.

Mybitcoin would allow smaller coins but the trust needed for the password is much greater, and, instawallet works better for this.

I dont expect large donations to this, and i wont be constantly monitoring it to take 0.01 BTC when it shows up.  Maybe someone can build something better. I put very little effort in, and it could be useful to people just getting started and dont have any btc yet.
Sure theres the faucet, but thats one use only.
And some peoole dont have a google account, and dont want to sign up.

Yes its affiliate marketing, but I'm paying out btc for your sign up.

Still trying to figure out how to make money and provide to the community.

My link seems to be working now.
626  Bitcoin / Project Development / Penny Dish, Leave a BTC, Take a BTC on: May 27, 2011, 06:33:29 PM
http://Http://bit.ly/btcdish

I was thinking of setting up something like this a long time ago.  Bitcoin makes it possible and easy.

Works like the take a peny leave a penny dish, that many small stores have.

If your a btc short to make a purchace, grab one, pay it back later.

Need a quick btc loan, grab some and repay when you can

This is compleetly on your honor.
Most people in the community are very honerable.
There are a few that aren't.  Atleast the block chain can be a slight deterant.

Want to donate, drop some in

I put an ad in the link so it generates a little money.  Takes a lot of clicks to generate anything but it can add up.

It uses instawallet

http://Http://bit.ly/btcdish

Edit leave a 0.01 BTC. Take a 0.01 BTC  I did not intend a whole BTC since its currently at $8usd, someone thought i did.

I haven't been approved to sell "carrots" yet

However I can sell some worthless e-book that has open resell rights, that did get approved.
I went to test it and It says not available in my country, I'm in usa, I'm on my phone right now so I'll have to get on my computer and look some stuff, might be a simple error.

See if you can buy the book

http://www.trialpay.com/productpage/?c=6aa43c2&tid=A7D7ANn

Also baby "carrots" included with purchace.

I looked at mt gox a few hrs ago and btc is at $9.33 usd.

Based on this I will send atleast 10 baby carrots with any book pruchace.
Once a few salse go through, I will have a better idea of how well I can compensate you.
I will retroactively compensate early buyers, once I figure it out.

1 baby carrot = .01 btc (has anyone else come up with some other term?)
629  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Game (with jackpot) on: May 26, 2011, 06:47:47 PM
A second bubble sounds good, one slow with large payout/minimums and fast one with smaller payout/minimums.

might be fun to have multiple different sets, with a target jackpot hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, (quarterly or anual interest anyone?) .

Hrly prize, might need to wait for more traffic, but could keep people on the site longer.  Start timer at 60min reset is cut in half with each spend till timer resets at 1min (hope the servers are upto the challenge)
I think the hrly one would need some type of special timer settings like that,or somethinge else

Also just thought, if the spend is close to the previous spend increase the timer on reset.  If the spend is close to timer running out decrease the timer.

Maybe add a feature that shows howmany guests are viewing the page.  I'm not so sure about this myself.  Since observing it will alter the outcome. (quantum physics pun intended), maybe set up an a/b test.

Seems like every one of my suggestions involves significant codeing efforts, sorry.

The hourly and dayly might need micro btc minimums.

Just some suggestions maybe dumb, but could inspire someone else with a good idea.

I posted my bubbles 6 hrs after the reset and its still on page 8.  I somewhat expected them to burst a little quicker.

I'm on my phone, so I can't test firefox right now.

Earlier I requested that the each bubble have the cumulative spend needed to burst the bubbles, but its too much codeing for now.

Was thinking maybe just a cumulative total needed to burst all the bubbles on the page.  Still some coding, hope its considerably less.

tried to post, It says it went through but i don't see it.

any page with an un-burst bubble in FireFox, will load, show for a sec, then show only the top spender banner.
firefox 3.6.16

everything is fine in chrome, opera, safari Mac OS 10.6.7
and on android browser froyo it works normal too.

I was waiting for someone to win before buying more bubbles.  I woke up about 6hrs too late, and ended up on the 8th page, after 8 pages of bubbles burst already, although there were a lot with the minimum down at .01btc. I'm down to only a few btc cents left.  Hope my bubbles burst.  Hope this round only lasts a week.  I keep checking thelast page to find new sites with a refferal link.

I got the same error earlier today, now I get nothing.
637  Bitcoin / Project Development / new setup for getting first btc on: May 21, 2011, 05:18:53 AM
I'm awaiting approval.  I'm going to start with 1btc at a time per person.
Will only be able to award upto about $25 worth per person.  Maybe more depending on how things go.  Will be somewhat like bitcoinbonus.

I'm low on money right now so I need a buffer of cash and btc, after a month I should have this buffer built up if I get good participation, and be able to have automated (almost) instant payouts.

For now if you'd like to help contribute by shopping at one of my affiliates..

Go here http://opticbit.com/collection/
Pic a category to shop in and buy something from one of my affiliates

Or go here to shop amazon
http://opticbit.com/Associate-O-Matic_v4.3.0_LITE/shop.php

Or order from these companies by calling a number listed here
http://opticbit.com/development/some-numbers.html

Only use the first number some of them are deactivated I need to go through and update.
Some of them are totally down, andi need to post some more of them.

They will be marketed as digital carrots.
638  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Bubble Game (with jackpot) on: May 20, 2011, 10:46:04 PM
Change it so that if there's no refferal it goes to a random bubble.
I don't see why people aren't reffering them selves, but that's your decision.

Timer is resetting lower.  bit.ly/btcbubble
