Cool.
I noticed there wasn't a locale, just the pool address. Might be good to have some type of location.
Have you thought of putting up a nice landing page? Maybe an FAQ or description?

@RedEmerald
Do you want me to add your Litecoin p2pool to the list?

@flower1024
Are you mining Bitcoin or Litecoin? (see below)

Code:

624  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Wonder who this solominer is? 88.6.216.9 on: March 21, 2012, 09:19:49 PM
So the whole problem is the potential threat no tx blocks are/could cause for the bitcoin community.

I like the idea where the halving cuts into profits for no tx's miners.

The other potential issue is a botnet mining BTC, fck'm.

How to treat a botnet operator:
Meat hooks tied to horses and inserted in the botops rectum, then yell to the horses, "Gidyup...HAA!"
625  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Wonder who this solominer is? 88.6.216.9 on: March 20, 2012, 12:42:10 PM
Is it possible some industrious pool operator is leveraging underutilized client hardware?
Damn Botnets.

If it's not an ATI driver issue then it might be the PCIe extender. Some boards require a jumper when using an extender.

Have you tried to scan security paper? Usually there is special ink that reflects "COPY" repeatedly in the background when scanned.

628  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk https is not staying secure on: March 20, 2012, 03:30:55 AM
Avatars sounds like one good reason.
In Opera, if I open a new site, banking.bs, the degraded security persists. Chrome is not quite the same, https returns, maybe because of process seperation.
629  Other / Meta / Bitcointalk https is not staying secure on: March 20, 2012, 03:12:53 AM
When first landing at the website https is good, secure. As I drill down to post into a topic it becomes normal or insecure. With the latest chrome 18 it is fine until in a topic, then https is lost, backing out and refreshing 'secure' returned, enter topic, https is lost. Chrome 17 and Opera 11.61, once you drill down into a topic, the https is lost; up one directory, refreshing does not return https, it remains insecure.

Is this a site issue, a certificate issue, or a browser issue?

Is it being done for some general jocular harassment or is there the intention of some real harm?

What is the draw at the wall?
Are you going by the rating on the power supplies?
What is the amp rating of the circuit?

Assuming1200/120v=10A

If you have a 15 amp circuit the load draw should be 80% of rated, so 12A continuous draw.
So even on a 20A circuit you shouldn't put 2x1200watt drawing systems.

Updates:

Quote from: Tittiez
You may remove my LTC pool from the list ( http://litep2pool.sytes.net:9327/ ). No interest from users with it so I see no reason of running it
A Tittiez reduction? Not cool.

Added Nürnberg::Germany::pool.k1024.de:80::0::LTC::k1024::flower1024 to the list.

I just bought P2Pmine.com and will make a page that shows a list of pools.
Awesome. Now we just need more p2pool growth.
635  Economy / Marketplace / Re: VPN Service by privateinternetaccess.com on: March 19, 2012, 01:46:14 AM
A few questions...

How long have you been in business?
What transfer limits are there?
How many concurrent connections are allowed per account?
How many hops are there in a vpn connection?
What anonymity technologies are employed, Crowding, Multiplexing, Latency normalization, Traffic Splitting / Mixing?
Is the communication protected by perfect forward secrecy?
Are your servers encrypted with LUKS (AES) or something more?
Where are your servers?
Do you have any real security experts on staff? if so, who?
From whom can the VPN provider protect against?
Is port forwarding allowed?
Are you running your network on VPS/cloud servers?
What information do you have about your customers?
Do you log? If so, what do you log and for how long?
Where are you incorporated?
How are abuse complaints handled?
How are subpoenas handled?
How are law enforcement requests handled?
Have you ever cooperated with law enforcement?
Has any customer identity or traffic ever been compromised?
Do you inform your clients if a subpoena for their information is served?
636  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kony 2012: Is this ethical, morally just but questionable, or just plain wrong? on: March 17, 2012, 11:08:32 PM
seems the guy in the video went crazy.

http://edition.cnn.com/2012/03/16/world/africa/uganda-viral-video/index.html

When I was watching the video they made I was thinking that the director and Kony are probably the same type of people.  They both are charismatic and can influence people.  As you can see, it does not take much for people to go crazy.
White powders and glass pipes have that effect, remember Martin Lawrence and his intersection issue?
637  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Correct way to create world government on: March 17, 2012, 10:59:27 PM

It is going to occur and we will probably see it materialize within the next 7 to 10 years.

Not 7 to 10 years. Maybe 70 to 100 years.
I calculate that number from the return of Jesus Christ, which will occur in 2034'-2036'.
14 years of government before the return, and that leaves 7-10 years from 2012.
David Rockefeller has been planning a single global currency since the 30's, if his father hadn't been before. You wouldn't plan a global currency without a global governance.

It has it's disadvantages and advantages. Probably the best advantage is near complete elimination of wars. If it was like the U.S., with countries acting like states, it might work.
How does a single ruler or group of rulers from a global government put down insurrection when it occurs on a country wide scale? It will be war. A world governance sending troops to quell the rebellion.

IMO, the world government rule will likely be a socialist style dictatorship, an imperial rule, if the likes of David Rockefeller and others of his ilk are successful. They are staunchly anti-christian, in fact, much of your perspective matches their views. Christianity will most likely suffer like it did during the rain of Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. 1/3 of the population of the world are christians, so a lot of room to make room.

How many exit servers does privateinternetaccess.com have?
Is privateinternetaccess.com single hop or multi-hop?
Is privateinternetaccess.com network designed similar to TOR but faster?

Your view is very conservative and doesn't account for an increasing demand which will be created by a media Kraken waiting to be released.  Grin
