621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: January 08, 2024, 04:33:37 AM
~snip~
Yeah, that is not a violation anymore as the rules simply says that "gambling at work is prohibited".. However, you have to amke sure that once you are gambling, you'll stay responsible so your performance towards your work is still on an acceptable level, it's not good for gamblers who are weak emotionally as it could potentially result to huge distraction which is not fair for the company.

Gmabling outside work is just like gambling at your home, but like I mentioned, you should stay responsible all the time as if you lose and you let your emotion drive you, it's not only that you lose money, but you could also lose your source of money which is your job.
Playing gambling responsibly is difficult, and there is still a possibility that someone will lose their responsibility while they are gambling. And if the loss of responsibility happens in the office, especially when they are working, it will definitely affect their mood and emotions. This will clearly cause disturbance not only for him but also for his coworkers, where they may get into arguments because their work has not been completed.

When someone experiences defeat, especially a big defeat, their emotions will definitely be disturbed or increased. If something is not as usual, they may immediately be carried away by the increased emotions. And that's what might cause problems between him and his other coworkers. So it is highly discouraged to gamble at work to avoid things that we don't want to happen. After all, it's okay if we postpone gambling while we are at work.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to bet $50 spin for a chance to win $42 million? on: January 07, 2024, 05:29:36 PM
I do not know. Perhaps I want to bet $50 but perhaps I don't. It depends on my mood at the time. If I'm in the mood to gamble, perhaps  I'll bet $50. But I rarely bet that $50. To win the jackpot, someone must have great luck like that of the person who managed to win the jackpot. It's possible that no one will be able to hit a jackpot that big again for some time. That is a golden opportunity that that person can get, and now he can change his life because he has earned a lot of money.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use your winning responsibly on: January 07, 2024, 04:43:12 PM
You have won a large amount so that you can buy that Smart TV. Congratulations on your win. Hopefully, this Smart TV can entertain you and your family, and you can remember your winning moments forever. But you have to remember that getting a big win can trigger you to continue gambling because you want to get another big win, and you will think you can still get it.

And I agree with what you say, don't use all your winnings to gamble. It's better to save some money to use for other, more important things, even if you allocate some funds to play gambling again.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 07, 2024, 04:16:22 PM
I am not a doctor or an expert in therapy to cure gambling addiction. But maybe I can only show that he is addicted to gambling and try to convince him that he is addicted to gambling and must try to cure his gambling addiction. But it looks like it won't be easy to convince him that he is addicted to gambling because he will definitely provide counter-arguments. Maybe the doctors treating him will give him a test to show that he has a gambling addiction.

Or maybe the doctors could show the consequences that he and the people closest to him experienced because he had gambled with so much money that he had spent it all. Doctors must be able to make the person admit that he is addicted to gambling even though he continues to deny it because, behind his denial, there is actually a dark side that he wants to hide from other people. If the doctors were able to touch the dark side, everything might open up, and the person would see that he was indeed addicted to gambling, and this person might admit it and regret it while crying full of regret.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: January 07, 2024, 03:56:13 PM
Maybe it not or could be yes im not sure about it. If a person can understand the Strategy and the playing click of a beting sector then the person can play easyly. You are saying mentally unstable person maybe not. Becose the person don't understand the Strategy and can't remember what he have to do at the situation or not. It the person mentality unstable but he know that and know how to play then it is possible but an unstable person how remember the strategy of gambling is it possible ?
Yes, maybe they gamble based on what they remember. Sometimes, people who are mentally unstable can gamble like other people because perhaps they can think about the strategy. But it will come back to each person because anything can happen, and we don't know the actual situation and are just guessing. Surely, that person has often gambled at the casino, and it could be that he only plays the same gambling game because it makes it easier for him to gamble. So he doesn't need to make a lot of strategy and just plays based on what he can afford. And it's not because he's dressed shabbily that we can think the person is mentally unstable.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: January 07, 2024, 03:35:44 PM
Is gambling a career? I do not think so. Some people think gambling is just a game, some are entertainment, although there are also people who take gambling seriously and even make it their main income. I think they are gambling addicts. what I have really seen are gambling addicts who are hungry for money. they are even willing to borrow money just to gamble, in the end they always lose. I'm sure gambling is not a career. If this is a career or gambling industry, it could be legalized throughout the world and supported by the government. In fact, only a few casinos get permits with certain conditions.
Gambling is not a career because gambling is an activity that people do in their free time. They don't make it their main income or career, but just for fun using the money they can afford. Unfortunately, there are still many people who think that gambling can be used as a main income or career, so they gamble continuously and hope that they can make money from gambling. They should change their mindset by not making gambling a career and just having fun so that they will not lose a lot of money. And if there are still people who want to make gambling a career, let them see for themselves how it turns out. And they have the potential to become gambling addicts because making gambling a career will make them go gambling more often than other people.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 07, 2024, 03:10:20 PM
Even though offline looks safer, I still choose online gambling. the reason is because I am used to this and it is very easy to play with no place. wherever I am I can gamble.
Privacy is one important of online gambling. With online gambling you can play anywhere anytime anyday. Buy in offline games you must look for a nearby Hall and if it's far from your residence, it will requires you to pay some amount of money for transportation to a casino centre. Thereby reducing the money for staking.
Often, we don't find a casino near where we live, so we have to travel first to get to the casino and gamble. Perhaps it seems even more of a waste of time because we make trips to casinos. Meanwhile, by using online casinos, we don't need to go anywhere. We only need to stay at home or in our room and can immediately gamble. Maybe privacy is something we have to pay attention to when gambling at online casinos, but those of us who often gamble at online casinos definitely know the casino we want so that it won't be a big problem for us. And many of us choose to gamble at online casinos because of the convenience we get from online casinos.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble on Bitcoin ETF approval results? on: January 07, 2024, 02:48:43 PM
~snip~
That's true; the whole ETF approval matter has been delayed several times already. I'm not too fond of betting on something that has been postponed several times already. I have mixed feelings about the ETF approval. On the one hand, I'm positive that Bitcoin will be approved, while on the other, it's constantly being postponed. Why hasn't it been approved or even denied at this point? Why are the results delayed by that much?

In the end, in my opinion, it's going to be approved anytime in the future; however, I wouldn't bet on it; the 50/50 chance doesn't look too appealing to me. Despite what happens, even in the scenario where it's not approved, Bitcoin will do just fine without it, as it did for all these years.
Many of us are confident that a Bitcoin ETF will be approved, even though we don't know when that will happen and are still waiting for the time. But what is happening is that there are still delays that occurred before, and whether this time it will be postponed again or whether it will be immediately approved, we also don't know. But it looks like this time, it will still be postponed, and perhaps after the presidential election, there will be a bright spot.

In the meantime, we can skip the event by looking for other bets, and perhaps we can return to sports betting for a while. Or we can place bets on ETFs but don't expect much from the results because this is just for fun.

~snip~
Most of the votes in the betting are yes the SEC approves the ETF, but you are right that no one knows when this decision will actually come, whether the approval of the Bitcoin ETF application comes this month or when.
It just that many people, including investors, are waiting and they hope the SEC will approve it in the near future.
But betting on something like this will be much more difficult than other bets such as sports betting, I personally don't have the desire or decision to be able to take part in betting and I would much prefer to use the money I have to bet on sports because the opportunities are more visible and the results will be exactly as scheduled.
But for those who bet on options like this, it doesn't matter because this is quite important and of course the approval of the Bitcoin ETF application could have very positive impact on the future development of Bitcoin.
Many people would vote yes, the SEC approves ETFs, but we don't know what happens. This event was full of unnecessary drama, but it seemed like it had been planned by several parties. Yes, it will be more difficult to choose the bets, but maybe people are just choosing the bets this time for fun and not taking it seriously. People are waiting for the moment of approval because they think that with the approval of the Bitcoin ETF, it can push the price to increase very high, and there may also be a long rally for the price of bitcoin so that it can break through the previous ATH price. If a Bitcoin ETF is approved, it will change cryptocurrencies in the eyes of many governments and the public, so there is a possibility that the adoption process will grow even faster.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: January 07, 2024, 02:20:34 PM
~snip~
Things that is not usual and you won't expect that they can do, seeing someone who rely to gambling as source of income most of the time turned to addicted gambler, instead of making money they suffer from huge losses, and they are going to resort to something will give them money to play back and try to recover, some may sell important items or valuable items while others can barrow money or loan but in some cases some addicted gamblers also do illegal things or commit crimes just to get the money that they needed to play back and fill the desire of gambling.
Those who rely on gambling as a source of income will obviously use up more money because before they can make money from gambling, they will encounter many losses that will probably wipe out all their money in one go. They will not want to stop even though they have run out of money and will deposit more money to continue gambling. No one knows when they will realize their mistake and will decide to use gambling as a source of income. Meanwhile, those who have won also continue to gamble because they are increasingly eager to win bigger wins, even though this can make them experience defeat after defeat and can also cause their money to run out. And defeat after defeat is what will cause them to suffer prolonged frustration because they have run out of all their money with nothing left.

~snip~
Occurrence like the old man and his family should serve as a lesson to people who wants to venture into gambling. They need to understand that if they don't follow some good routines when gambling they can lose out their control and misbehave. Doing things that would land them in jail. Then families on the other hand should begin to put their ears on the ground regarding the activities of a family member who gambles a lot. So that they can understand what exactly to be done to help the person out of his troubles. Because, when a little trouble is neglected it'll buzz to a bigger trouble which can diminish the growth of the family. Gamblers are expected to stay learning before and after joining the gambling niche. The elderly man may have been neglected and wasn't asked about why his money keeps running low. As a problem can't ignite without a symptom. His family may have seen that he's consistently asking for money. But didn't ask questions. In a nutshell, families and newbie gamblers should learn from things like this, and abstain from being victims.
Just by gambling more often can cause them to lose control of themselves in gambling, so we really have to be able to pay attention to ourselves when gambling. We must not be like those who have lost a lot of money from gambling because it is not worth it for us, especially for those of us who, from the start, only wanted to use gambling as entertainment. When someone has become addicted to gambling, they can do all the things they can do and even those that don't seem to make sense, so it makes many people question why they can do that. This is just a small example of what has happened in society that we must avoid because, after all, experiencing a gambling addiction can be dangerous for our lives and those of our families, so we must really be able to prevent it from happening to us.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: January 07, 2024, 02:05:47 PM
Yeah, retiring with gambling money is a long shot. Winning big is rare, and it's not a reliable plan for most people. The odds can be tough, and it's more like a hope than a solid strategy for financial security. Casinos and lotteries are set up so that they make money, not you. Sure, some folks get lucky, but it's not a reliable way to retire. Most of the time, it's more like wishful thinking than a smart financial move. Trusting your future to hitting the jackpot is like putting all your money on a super long shot and not the best bet for a stable retirement.
It's very rare for people to be able to retire with gambling money because that means they have to be able to get very big wins. Even though in gambling, many people have tried to get big wins, they fail and instead lose more money. Yes, it is likely very difficult to win big, let alone retire with gambling money. So people should change their mindset and try to make money from other places so that they can retire and have money to enjoy their days well. Maybe some lucky people can retire with gambling money, but it's hard to find them because they won't want to show themselves to the public. After all, it could interfere with their private lives.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the tension make you take risk that are sometimes worth it? on: January 07, 2024, 01:43:26 PM
~snip~
That mode of playing is the one that we must always experience to make any type of movements to be able to be at the level, we as good players must always do what is necessary to be in that state, in lloperosnal I have always said something, when it comes to making a good job to have precision in our profits, it is necessary and essential that we have very well planned what we want to achieve in a casino and sports betting platform, when we are playing without pressure, relaxed and without any type of stress, we can have very good way of doing things in our favor, and the results are very likely to be given to us, but in case they are not given to us, it is simple, we have to do other types of things, like the first one, accept that we lost, assume that and that's it, the second thing we must do is not seek to recover what we lost, and the third thing we must do is find a way to not play again the way we did, because it was the wrong view of the game.

Based on this, things can be very emphatic when we can do something to win, in each of us there are attitudes that can make a difference, when we suffer in the game any type of emotion can be transformed into tension, sadness, joy , excess of joy, anything that can describe things as they are, but we have to do things very well, because otherwise , it is easy for us to have any type of clash with what can influence within our game, always in our game one should not try to do things for the sake of doing them, much less Influenced by emotions , and if emotions come into play , let it be with a balance totally willing to lose, which does not hurt if one loses , because that is what We must always be careful , when there is a type of event that prevents things from being different from Winning , we have to Avoid it.
That is why when playing gambling, we should come to the casino without carrying any burden, meaning we come to the casino relaxed and really want to relieve the fatigue that we experience in doing many activities that day. By gambling in some gambling games, whether it's casino games or placing bets on sports betting, we can enjoy our free time well, and when we feel like we've had enough gambling, we can immediately stop gambling and leave the casino. We will not think about chasing victory because it is definitely difficult to obtain, so we just try to enjoy our moments when playing gambling. But if we come to the casino carrying stress due to what we are doing, we may find it difficult to release that stress because, in gambling, we may encounter many losses in addition to wins, which can trigger us to become even more stressed. And if that happens, we will only lose self-control when gambling, which can cause us to become even more eager to win.

We already know that emotions can increase at any time without us realizing it, so if we don't have good self-control, we can become more emotional and lose self-control. If we lose self-control, everything will become invisible, and we will no longer be able to think clearly even though our goal in coming to the casino is to enjoy our free time. With the increase in emotions, we also lose self-control, which can make us emotionally triggered to gamble longer and create a desire to recover losses or to get even bigger wins. And that's what will happen to us if we are increasingly emotionally triggered by what we get from gambling. Meanwhile, with increasing emotions, we also have the opportunity to increase the amount of the bet because we feel that we can win in the next round. In fact, increasing the bet amount due to increased emotions can cause us to experience big losses immediately and even run out of money. We have probably seen people who say this is their last bet, and they bet all-in when it is highly discouraged by many experienced gamblers.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: January 07, 2024, 01:27:53 PM
~snip~
The belief in a lucky day in amusing, but hardly a sound strategy. Gambling is a game of chance with flashy lights and alluring sounds, not a solid source of revenue. Now, gambling with borrowed money? It will not end well if you use a paper umbrella in a storm. Responsible gambling involves controlling losses and odds, not simply gains. Early recognition that the house always has an edge makes us better gamblers.

If someone gets rich, gambling it all is like catching a golden fish and throwing it back to capture a bigger one. Not likely? Learning to manage money, gamble or not, is vital. It requires self-control, danger awareness, and folding. Gambling should be pleasure, not a source of income. When fun ends, stop! An experienced gambler knows that the best wager is one you can afford to lose.
The gamblers still believe in their lucky day, so they are still waiting for that day to come while continuing to gamble. Well, it seems absurd, but that's what happens to most gamblers who still believe their lucky day will come. Gambling with borrowed money is something that is never recommended because if we lose, it can cost us all the money, and we will only have difficulty getting the money back. And that is not responsible gambling because we have taken a big risk by using borrowed money to gamble. It still makes sense if we borrow money to buy daily necessities, and later, we will return the money.

People can learn to control themselves by managing their money first before they decide to gamble. But that's not what happens because many people don't learn self-control and instead jump straight into gambling to try to win some money. This will increase their loss of self-control because they will only be provoked by their emotions by gambling without having self-control. And if they really lose control of themselves, they can use all their money to gamble, and that is not a good decision.

Sounds like you’ve got a pretty consistent vibe, whether in real life or in a gamble. I try to keep my spending and emotions in check both in everyday life and when I'm gambling. It seems to work out fine for me. For your friend, if he's going all out when he plays, maybe some tricks to rein in the excitement and set some limits could be useful. It's all about finding that balance. If your friend's on a wild ride with gambling, maybe some self-control tips could help him cool down.
Not really, I still have to learn a lot in controlling my expenses and emotions because I still often experience a loss of self-control and emotions in many things and gambling. But I don't want to lose control of myself and my emotions completely, so I keep forcing myself to learn to control myself and my emotions to improve. We just have to continue to learn self-control without stopping because it really helps us in getting through every day, which is full of challenges, and not just in gambling. If we are not gambling, we will also face many things that require self-control.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most logical and profitable game on: January 07, 2024, 12:25:36 PM

The gambling is both on luck and the experience,Sometimes your experience also help to get away from the complete loss.Even at the end of the game, your experience will help to make some money. The gambler should understand their position is bad at the time of loss.So he will regain the same money by using their experience. If the gambler had loss their entire hope at the time of losing, then the final result will be loss. But the gambler should keep their mind, today he had for the gambling.Only today the gambler to regain the loss in the gambling site. This positive midset alone help the gambler to tackle all the loss with the mental boldness to the gambling. This was lagging thing in the mind of the new gambler to the gambling site.
Gamblers will find it difficult to recover the money they lost because in gambling, the harder they try to recover their losses, the greater the risk of losing their money again. That is why gamblers should not expect too much from gambling so that when they lose, they can accept their loss and will not try to recover their losses. By accepting their loss, they will not think too much about their loss, and even if they return to gambling, they will forget their loss because it is in the past. So whatever gambling game they play, they must be able to accept whatever the outcome is so that they will not return to gambling just to recover their losses. They will try to enjoy every moment of gambling, choose games they like, and not think about chasing their winnings.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 07, 2024, 11:59:50 AM
~snip~
Thought, even though what you say is true, I believe you are over-estimating the ability for people to say something is legitimate or not, even if there are people out there who are quite skeptical of what they see on the internet, gullible people continue to be the majority on the internet, otherwise scammers would not have it as easy to get money out their victims.

Also, sharing or posting predictions on the internet is not a safe way to verify anything nowadays. All a scammer has to do is to create a lot of social Media accounts (on Instagram/ Twitter), let us say he creates 100 accounts... He would start using the half of the accounts to predict a game in favor of a team, and the opposite half for the other team, next time the does the same with the remaining 50 accounts which got the prediction right and do that again and again.

By the end of this prediction scheme he could easily have 2 accounts of twitter/Instagram which have a register of 100% accuracy and other with less accuracy, in the eyes of the followers, those are betting geniuses and would be willing to pay for their tips.
So do not even trust those registers.   Roll Eyes
What people get is different, so we can only see it without knowing the truth. But many people have been deceived by words encouraging them to make money easily. And from what I see on the internet, many attractive offers like that deceive many people.

Fraudsters will use many methods to get more victims, and the methods you provide are one of the many methods they may have used. We won't know which is a fraud and which is genuine because the difference is almost non-existent. And just check and find out more information to be sure. That is why we must always be careful when we get information like that and confirm it first.

Getting lots of social media is still very easy nowadays, especially since you can buy all the accounts through people who deliberately create lots of accounts. And when it's on the internet, we can only check so we can be careful in deciding whether to follow someone who is an expert or whether he will lie.

~snip~
It is very easy for people to claim that they are experts in gambling by providing evidence, but this evidence does not necessarily mean it is true because it could be that the evidence is just manipulation and perhaps the aim is only to attract people to gamble the same as them. If he is truly an expert, he is certain has become a billionaire and may take gambling lightly, but in fact if he is still the same as people in general and is not too rich, it means he is not an expert, because usually people who are truly experts or people who are truly professionals have abundant wealth and as far as I know there are none who can match the wealth of the casino owner and I think the casino has limited this person from winning so I don't believe in a gambling expert if he doesn't really show the results directly and not just 1 result.

maybe if it was a friend of his who was told about the bet he had predicted, his friend would try to follow it, maybe with a little money to test his success. But if in the end he lost, of course that person couldn't be trusted anymore because he really showed how stupid he was depends on chance whose victory is not necessarily certain.
In obtaining evidence, people can easily search for it, get it, and show it to other people, especially on the internet, who can easily manipulate this data. But if he is truly an expert, he doesn't need that proof but will give and show his abilities to some of his closest friends, who will later show it to other people. Someone who is an expert will not easily show that he is a gambling expert, but he will hide it and probably only show it to those close to him. Those of us who know that he is an expert also can't ask for his predictions because he probably won't want to give them because that means he has a responsibility to give accurate predictions while he doesn't want to.

If someone is an expert and gives his predictions to those closest to him, he will show that he has better analytical skills. But he didn't want to show his abilities to many people. He doesn't want to be dependent on people who just want to ask for his predictions.

Many players assume their story will be unique, which is evident. Gambling is a complicated game of chance with more losses than wins. Gambling safely requires accepting its unpredictability and viewing it as enjoyment, not a guaranteed profit

Your advice about self-control and seeing wins as bonuses is vital. This thinking distinguishes smart from irresponsible. Gamblers must realize that luck is fickle and odds are not always in their favor. Real gambling wisdom comes from recognizing and playing within our bounds. The key is knowing that gambling is fun and risky, where the excitement is in the play, not the consequence. Let's embrace gambling as a hobby rather than a job and avoid allowing it affect our finances
People who gamble are expected to accept whatever they get from gambling so that they can use gambling as entertainment and not use gambling to win. This requires awareness from every gambler to understand that making money from gambling is difficult, and they are better off looking for it elsewhere. If they could realize this, they would not try so hard at gambling and would not use so much money to make money.

After all, gambling is an activity that provides entertainment, so when we are gambling, we don't need to be too serious about it and can stop gambling when we have had entertainment. Don't chase victory too much, especially in getting that victory, we have to take the risk of losing even more money. Just let the winnings come to us while we only want to get entertainment from gambling. And getting a win is just a bonus for us, so we know that that is the entertainment that gambling provides us. Getting that luck is also very rare, so we can't force ourselves to chase that luck.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: January 07, 2024, 11:18:00 AM
~snip~
Now the issue here is not about gambling much or being addicted in gambling and having nothing to proof our responsible gambling, we can be an occasional gambler and have a lot of thoughts concerning gambling even than the addicted ones, a gambler is expected to know what he's doing, focus on gambling responsibly and have some remarkable achievements to show for his gambling experience as what he has learnt and this is done not by how far but how well.
If a gambler can focus on gambling responsibly, he will not stray from his limits and will know when he should stop gambling and will not continue gambling because he wants to recover his losses. Those who have gained a lot of experience and lessons from gambling should be able to become gamblers who are more responsible for their gambling and will not chase their winnings. They already know that gambling is just entertainment in their spare time, so they can use gambling appropriately and will not gamble excessively.

~snip~
True, in any case learning is one of the best ways for a change for the better, in gambling of course if we feel that we have a lot of losing problems then it is clear as you suggest that we need to learn from those who are experienced or even gambling addicts, take the good and throw away the bad, on the other hand this will be really useful for us, we can see how the suffering of people who are addicted to all the problems they suffer and don't we want the same fate as them? of course, and one of the ways we can do is learn from their mistakes and change our gambling activities for the better, in the sense that we can be firmer in applying limits and always maintain self-awareness when gambling so that things that are not wanted do not happen. On the other hand I understand that it is quite difficult to do it completely but there is nothing wrong with us trying slowly so that later we can get used to it, and honestly on the other hand I also got a lot of insight and enlightenment after joining this forum and this is very useful.
By learning, we can gain useful experience so that we know how to respond to gambling. By experiencing defeat, we can see what needs to be improved so that we don't experience even bigger defeats, and by learning, we can correct the mistakes we have made. If we learn well, we can become responsible gamblers who will not indulge their egos in gambling. We can apply limits well, always maintain self-awareness when gambling, and will not chase wins that are still difficult to obtain. It is quite difficult to do, but we can try because by trying, we will form a new habit which will be useful for us in preventing many losses. It's okay if we still often lose in playing gambling later, but as long as we are still willing to try to learn, that's when our maturity will get better, and we can behave as we should.

Getting to the level of addiction actually involves much experience, you can only get to the point of addiction after several trials which would have in a way or the other given you some level of experience with which you would have been gotten before you got to the point of addictive gambling.

Learning from a gambling addicted for me I don't consider it a healthy practice except such person is on the verge of quitting then such person can literally advice you well enough on the does and don't because at that point he has come to the realization that he has been addicted and is quitting knowing that his practice wasn't the best for him but for someone who's still addicted and yet to quit will literally not see some much wrong with their addiction and what they are doing so they will advise you to continue in the pattern just like the saying goes "misery love's company".
Becoming addicted to gambling does take time. We never know when someone will become addicted to gambling. Some people become addicted to gambling in a short time but can still control their gambling addiction. However, some people cannot control their gambling addiction and instead get deeper into their gambling. Many things can make us addicted to gambling, and all because we cannot control ourselves well while gambling.

Curing gambling addiction is not easy and requires hard work to get rid of thoughts about gambling until we can really control our thoughts so that we don't think about gambling. And it requires continuous practice so that we can successfully get rid of thoughts about gambling. Maybe doing other activities can help someone to remain aware that he must be able to overcome his gambling addiction before his gambling addiction really ruins his life. But most gambling addicts cannot see this and instead get deeper into gambling and increasingly enjoy gambling as an important activity in their lives so that they don't see any other activities that they can use in their free time.

The old man doesn't have huge money for the gambling, this was the reason for the gambler should have retirement age as like the normal job.But the gambler will play the game with own tactics, because at the old age.The gambler easily start to fight with others,So playing the responsible game at the old age is important. If tbe gambler face the loss in the game,he should take the break without any hesitation.Because only the break will change the gambler mindset to the loss again and again. The gambler should think what will be output,if he had loss the entire money in the gambling site.So the gambler get triggered to solve the gambling game and make the more winning using their own mindset in the particular game.
We don't know whether the old man didn't have a lot of money or whether he deliberately gambled on certain days. Surely, he still enjoys placing bets, so he still gambles on sports betting. It's okay as long as he can control himself in placing bets. But he must also be able to realize that he is old and should not place bets too often and do other things to enjoy life more. After all, he used to really like sports betting and has been doing it for a long time. But indeed, gambling can make people keep placing bets again, even just to enjoy their free time.

Though unusual, your taxi driver experience reveals a larger issue: personal hobbies and professional responsibilities. Since I've seen both perspectives, I understand. Professional duty and personal freedom are delicately balanced.

Another perspective: mindfulness and boundaries. Gambling is something I do when Im bored. I keep it out of my work and others' comfort. This discipline matters. I get the temptation. Sometimes its a mistake, not contempt.

However, I believe "fun gambling" can be positive. It can boost worker morale if managed well. Imagine a future where a brief, innocuous bet is a pleasant, team-building exercise. Its about shifting attitudes while remaining responsible. A little fun at the correct place and time never hurts anyone.
We should be able to differentiate between what requires us to be professional and have a balance of personal freedom. So we can behave correctly when doing something and not mix it up with things outside of it. However, most people don't understand this and often do things they shouldn't, and gambling while working is a clear example of what some workers still do. They are at work, so they shouldn't do things that have nothing to do with their work.

If they can still do it now, they're lucky that no one complains. But they can't expect that it will still give them the opportunity to bet. The situation will not allow them to gamble anymore because later, there will be those who don't like seeing them working but also gambling. We, who are just employees, must be able to understand the situation and must not force our will to continue gambling.

You did the right thing in not giving a tip to this taxi driver, because the moment he talks on a cell phone, your safety as a passenger decreases. I also thought that the driver might not place a bet, but check it while driving. And if there is a loss, he may be enraged by this and begin to behave aggressively on the road, which can lead to dire consequences or an accident.

As for me, I also played through a smartphone before, but I did it not at my workplace, but after I left it. I had to go on the bus as a passenger for about 1 hour. This time was enough for me to place all the bets I wanted.
We, as passengers, will also feel uncomfortable with his attitude, as if he cannot work professionally even though the company demands him to be professional towards his passengers. I could have reported him to the company where he worked, but I didn't because I remembered he must have had a family waiting for him to come home with money. I hope that one day, he can realize that it's something he shouldn't do.

Playing gambling outside office hours is okay because we are outside work. There is no prohibition on gambling after work. And you have done what you should, and it is true, one hour is enough to place all the bets you want. When we are working, we should always focus on our work so that we can complete it without any distractions.

Gambling is based on luck. Even though there are skill-based gambling games, it still requires luck. Perhaps card games are the most logical gambling game to win because in playing these cards, a person must have better skills than their opponents. If he can't play cards well and correctly, he won't be able to win and will instead be defeated by his opponents. But perhaps sports betting is also a logical gambling game to win because they also need analytical skills that not just anyone can learn. And it's true. We have to manage our betting money well so that we don't immediately spend all the money just because we want to win more.
